I was a regular here during my year-long stay in Munich, and I've never regretted it. The food is excellent; I especially recommend the Salmon Spring Salad. My sincere compliments go to Nathalie and her team, who always remained professional and friendly despite the high volume of orders.

You can only order at a screen and pay by card. Many people would like to live in a Black Mirror episode, but I would like to have anonymous payment and skilled restaurant jobs (yes, service is a demanding job! If the employees are just salad-ingredient robots, you can of course pay them less and replace them more easily). Well, across the street at Schall & Rauch, I got a very nice and fresh salad bowl from a nice person 😌😌 which, interestingly, was even cheaper. P.S. Read the recent good reviews; they all use the same language, like "the expert gave me excellent advice on putting together my bowl." AI reviews are apparently still common here, too 🤦‍♀️

I've been there several times, and it's really worth it, especially in the mornings! It's nice and quiet, the staff are cheerful and friendly, and with the coffee deal combined with the student discount, you can get a reasonably priced breakfast. I highly recommend it!

The employee's attention is disgraceful. We waited a long time until we ordered. I don't think he knows any language. We told him 3 times that we wanted a latte and he gave us an Americano. He never gave our order even though we ordered from the kiosk. But the brownie and chicken wrap were nice and filling.

I wanted to order from your store, but was treated very rudely from the start. At first, I was ignored for several minutes, despite repeated attempts to get their attention. When I asked if I could redeem a voucher, I was initially told it was only available at the back. When ordering the cheaper box, I wanted to add an extra and asked if it was included in half the total price. Initially, I was told yes, but later it turned out that the extra cost extra. I was initially denied a refund, but after a short time and unnecessary discussion, I was finally allowed to return the order. Later, there were three bowls on the counter, one of which had been picked up. I tried to check if my bowls were included, but received no information, as eye contact and communication continued to be avoided. After a few more minutes, I was finally told that my bowls were already ready. The service was as lackluster and poor as I've experienced in a long time...

The portions were smaller compared to their other branches. There should be a standard for portion sizes. I shouldn’t have had to pay 14 euros for 50 grams of chicken.

We ordered takeout because we were in a hurry, and the service was fast and good. You can also eat in. It's located in the center of Munich. They have healthy, customizable food options. I'm giving it 4 stars because, in my opinion, the quality-price ratio could be better, especially considering the quality of the vegetables, but I still recommend it as a good option.

There is a taste problem. He put too much sauce on the salad. The plate was very mixed and tasteless.

A disappointment on all counts. The order via the app was not processed. When we arrived the food wasn't ready at the promised time. Then the order was carried out incorrectly. Some things that were ordered and paid for (!) were missing. When we asked that the drinks were still missing, we were treated unkindly. Despite asking, we didn't receive any other things we ordered (e.g. bread). Instead we were simply ignored. The staff was visibly overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food itself tasted bad. The pears were rock hard, the “fried” goat cheese was not fried, but cold and soft in the salad… I won't go here again. UPDATE 1 (April 2024): Dean&David has taken legal action against this nearly four-year-old review. The company feels its personal rights have been violated. How this could be the case is beyond me. I hereby confirm that this review is based on real experience and only reflects actual experiences and my opinion. UPDATE 2 (03/03/2025): Although Dean&David responded to my UPDATE 1 (as a publicly viewable response) by saying that the legal action taken at the time may have been unfairly taken against my rating, Dean&David is now legally defending itself AGAIN against this rating. This time the reason given is alleged “defamation”. This currently results in Google not publishing my review. I defend myself against this.

Ingredientes are fresh but the dishes themselves are mediocre, not worth the money at all. Place is normal, if you're looking to spend a quick lunch break here then it's alright but expensive. For anything else it's just not the vibe.

I was there for lunch today and ordered a chicken vitality salad with sheep's cheese to take away. When I unpacked it there was no cheese in it. Disappointment. For a price like that I want to get what I pay for. If an ingredient is not available, the employee must inform customers in advance. In addition, the service was unfriendly. Never again

When you eat there, check whether everything you paid for is in the bowl. For the 3rd time! the employee didn't put one of the toppings in the bowl. Each time he didn't say anything about it and only reacted after I asked him about it and then told me that they just didn't have it anymore. The employees (always the same 2 employees) did this to other customers every time I was there. A customer was also upset about it because he was paying for it after all and then not pointing it out and hoping that people wouldn't notice it is outrageous, especially the cheesy reaction. There are definitely better bowl shops that actually give you what you pay for.

It's the second time that they mix up the orders and I get someone else's food. The people working there are a mess and it's impossible to understand when the food is ready unless one stands right at the counter. The place is disorganized, paying takes too long (the machines often don't work) and the queues are enormous. I used to go there often during my lunch break but I won't do it again. There are many better places nearby with better food and better service.

Service is zero. But that's probably what the management wanted. I just wanted to put together a salad myself. That didn't work. Not via the app. Not about the employee.

Terrible salad and the machine for self service doesn’t work

We ordered a smoothie and it was warm and liquid. We were expecting a refreshing smoothie and got a warm smoothie. We kindly went up to the employees to ask for a refund or anything and they were not helpful. They simply said that’s how the smoothies are. We left the smoothies full and they said write a review if we want a refund. Would not recommend this place. Overpriced for what it is.

They put a receipt in my food. Which is so unhygienic it cannot be put into words.

The woman behind the counter was very unfriendly and listless for the second time. The prices are completely excessive. The bowls are 50% filled with cheap lettuce leaves. At the Falafelbowl you get 5 mini falafels and all of the sandwiches are barely filled and don't fill you up at all. For the price I expect more.

The smoothies here are simply second to none – freshly made and packed with vitamins. A real energy kick!

Complete bullshit. The ordering terminal advertises a well-filled flat bread, but what you get is a 20% filled wrap with a tomato, a touch of sheep's cheese and hardly any filling. The thing was effectively just a fried wrap. The employee was obviously not in the mood either. If you're hungry, definitely avoid! You get 5x more from a pack of Pringles! EDIT July 4, 2024: After responding via the website's feedback form, there was still no response from dean&david. You can save yourself the visit and avoid the franchise.

I can handle de overpriced salad, but not the rude staff and absolutely can’t handle the badly installed bell sensor ringing every time someone in the line moves. It used to be good, but at some point they must have read the advertising from the 1990s “Stinginess is Geil” and probably thought it was really cool. In my opinion it is simply far too expensive for these portions and the taste of the ingredients.

It used to be great, but now it's disappointing. The products still taste good, but the developments in portion size and price are simply no longer correct. If I get a salad for a higher price, I want it to fill me up too! However, that is no longer the case at the moment. Sometimes you hardly get any chicken, other times you only get a small teaspoon of sheep's cheese or raw potatoes. Generally it is more appetizer size than main course. That doesn't fit with the pricing policy! In addition, you don't feel welcome in the branch: you only get bread when you ask and with an annoyed expression on your face, the salad is simply slapped in front of your nose, and the question about the dressing you want no longer exists.

The variety of the menu has increased considerably throughout the years but conversely the size of the portions has decreased a lot. Recently ordered the chicken ceaser salad and it was much smaller than what it used to be. Also they just give you only a tiny piece of bread with it and when you ask for more they look at you surprised. At least that’s how I felt about it… Overall still ok, but assuming they will continue to lose market share to the many other options out there. Best thing is that there are almost never any queues anymore so the food gets prepared quicker.

Dran & David kann gut sein, dafür brauchen sie aber Angestellte die die Dinge auf der Karte verkaufen wie ausgeschrieben und eine ungefähre Ahnung haben was sie hinter dem Tresen tun. Wir werden diese Filiale sicherlich kein zweites Mal aufsuchen (das Ganze erklärt wieso so viele freie Plätze verfügbar waren 😱😂) Ich empfehle Personalschulungen.

Zentral und doch nicht überfüllt. Die Salate sind lecker und nicht sehr kalorienreich. Perfekt für eine gesunde Ernährung. Es gibt Salate, Bowls, Currys, Smoothies, Sandwiches und mehr... Das Fleisch im Salat, sowohl das Rindfleisch als auch das Hähnchen waren super.

Den unfreundlichen Service kann ich definitiv bestätigen, aber da ich ein großer Bowl Fan bin, war mir das ziemlich egal. Ich war einmal bei Deans & David in Köln und träum jetzt noch von der soo leckeren Bowl, deswegen hab ich mich auf diese auch wieder gefreut. Habe auch wieder die selbe bestellt, wurde leider aber redlich enttäuscht. Halbherzig zubereitet schmeckte diese ganz anders als in Köln! Die Sauce erinnerte an ein Stück Seife im Mund und das hat die ganze Bowl zerstört. Der Rest war nicht so frisch, wie ich es kannte. Sehr enttäuschend.
