... I can only say the following: we felt sick for several hours after eating a chicken dish ... the food tasted artificial and fake ... the lady, probably the owner, was constantly smoking and overall the atmosphere was very impersonal and even arrogant ... I think that Things will take care of themselves... places like this should close yesterday rather than today... forever!!!!

Food and atmosphere is okay but the people serving were very rude, we were not allowed to sit comfortably even though the shop was empty and computer use was not prohibited.

Sorry, the staff is completely overwhelmed and carelessly throws ingredients into the bowls at their own discretion. I regularly only get bread when I ask for it, which is a complete ruckus and ridiculous prices.

We ordered a smoothie and it was warm and liquid. We were expecting a refreshing smoothie and got a warm smoothie. We kindly went up to the employees to ask for a refund or anything and they were not helpful. They simply said that’s how the smoothies are. We left the smoothies full and they said write a review if we want a refund. Would not recommend this place. Overpriced for what it is.

Terrible salad and the machine for self service doesn’t work

They put a receipt in my food. Which is so unhygienic it cannot be put into words.

The woman behind the counter was very unfriendly and listless for the second time. The prices are completely excessive. The bowls are 50% filled with cheap lettuce leaves. At the Falafelbowl you get 5 mini falafels and all of the sandwiches are barely filled and don't fill you up at all. For the price I expect more.

The smoothies here are simply second to none – freshly made and packed with vitamins. A real energy kick!

I love how this company focuses on sustainability! The use of local products and environmentally friendly packaging show that they care not only about the health of their customers, but also that of the planet.

Complete bullshit. The ordering terminal advertises a well-filled flat bread, but what you get is a 20% filled wrap with a tomato, a touch of sheep's cheese and hardly any filling. The thing was effectively just a fried wrap. The employee was obviously not in the mood either. If you're hungry, definitely avoid! You get 5x more from a pack of Pringles! EDIT July 4, 2024: After responding via the website's feedback form, there was still no response from dean&david. You can save yourself the visit and avoid the franchise.

We ordered through TooGoodToGo, so there is a review regardless of the price. But even if it's probably not exactly cheap, there are lots of delicious products here. The employee was extremely friendly to us.

A disappointment on all counts. The order via the app was not processed. When we arrived the food wasn't ready at the promised time. Then the order was carried out incorrectly. Some things that were ordered and paid for (!) were missing. When we asked that the drinks were still missing, we were treated unkindly. Despite asking, we didn't receive any other things we ordered (e.g. bread). Instead we were simply ignored. The staff was visibly overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food itself tasted bad. The pears were rock hard, the “fried” goat cheese was not fried, but cold and soft in the salad… I won't go here again. UPDATE: Dean&David has taken legal action against this nearly four-year-old review. The company feels its personal rights have been violated. How this could be the case is beyond me. I hereby confirm that this review is based on real experience and only reflects actual experiences and my opinion.

I like the food in all stores of the chain. But this review is for this one specifically. I can handle de overpriced salad, but not the rude staff and absolutely can’t handle the badly installed bell sensor ringing every time someone in the line moves. Terrible uninviting environment that could be fixed with the slightest will from management. Update: The company is trying to take down this review instead of trying to improve on their services. Fortunately I have proof I’ve been there. And I double down on the review: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

It used to be good, but at some point they must have read the advertising from the 1990s “Stinginess is Geil” and probably thought it was really cool. In my opinion it is simply far too expensive for these portions and the taste of the ingredients.

This is the best Dean and David I've been to so far, nice service and fresh food, keep it up!

It used to be great, but now it's disappointing. The products still taste good, but the developments in portion size and price are simply no longer correct. If I get a salad for a higher price, I want it to fill me up too! However, that is no longer the case at the moment. Sometimes you hardly get any chicken, other times you only get a small teaspoon of sheep's cheese or raw potatoes. Generally it is more appetizer size than main course. That doesn't fit with the pricing policy! In addition, you don't feel welcome in the branch: you only get bread when you ask and with an annoyed expression on your face, the salad is simply slapped in front of your nose, and the question about the dressing you want no longer exists.

The bowls really impressed me with their quality and taste.

The variety of the menu has increased considerably throughout the years but conversely the size of the portions has decreased a lot. Recently ordered the chicken ceaser salad and it was much smaller than what it used to be. Also they just give you only a tiny piece of bread with it and when you ask for more they look at you surprised. At least that’s how I felt about it… Overall still ok, but assuming they will continue to lose market share to the many other options out there. Best thing is that there are almost never any queues anymore so the food gets prepared quicker.

The food was tasty, but my visit was marred by the rudeness of the staff. Unfortunately I felt unwell, which was a shame as the food is definitely recommended. Hopefully you will improve customer support to create a more pleasant atmosphere.

Das Essen ist ganz ok. was ich aber für ein nogo empfinde ist mit Handschuhen Bargeld zu nehmen und danach Reis, Salat und andere Zutaten anzufassen. Mit dem selben Handschuh. Ich hoffe, dass sich bezüglich der Hygiene etwas ändert.

Dran & David kann gut sein, dafür brauchen sie aber Angestellte die die Dinge auf der Karte verkaufen wie ausgeschrieben und eine ungefähre Ahnung haben was sie hinter dem Tresen tun. Wir werden diese Filiale sicherlich kein zweites Mal aufsuchen (das Ganze erklärt wieso so viele freie Plätze verfügbar waren 😱😂) Ich empfehle Personalschulungen.

Ein tolles Konzept mit großartigen Speisen.

Zentral und doch nicht überfüllt. Die Salate sind lecker und nicht sehr kalorienreich. Perfekt für eine gesunde Ernährung. Es gibt Salate, Bowls, Currys, Smoothies, Sandwiches und mehr... Das Fleisch im Salat, sowohl das Rindfleisch als auch das Hähnchen waren super.

Außerdem haben wir sogar noch Treuepunkte bekommen - das nenne ich einen tollen Bonus. Das Essen war wie immer lecker und frisch. Absolut empfehlenswert für eine schnelle und köstliche Mahlzeit !

Den unfreundlichen Service kann ich definitiv bestätigen, aber da ich ein großer Bowl Fan bin, war mir das ziemlich egal. Ich war einmal bei Deans & David in Köln und träum jetzt noch von der soo leckeren Bowl, deswegen hab ich mich auf diese auch wieder gefreut. Habe auch wieder die selbe bestellt, wurde leider aber redlich enttäuscht. Halbherzig zubereitet schmeckte diese ganz anders als in Köln! Die Sauce erinnerte an ein Stück Seife im Mund und das hat die ganze Bowl zerstört. Der Rest war nicht so frisch, wie ich es kannte. Sehr enttäuschend.

Es war ziemlich voll bei unserem Besuch in Dean&David Schellingstraße, aber dank der App-Bestellung mussten wir nicht anstehen. Die Falafel-Salat-Bowl war unglaublich lecker und hat uns für den Rest des Tages satt gehalten.

Die Terrasse bei Dean&David Schellingstraße ist wirklich ein Traum! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten die köstlichen Salate und Bowls in der Sonne genießen. Ein perfekter Ort für ein gesundes Mittagessen.

Obwohl man bei Dean&David Schellingstraße nur zum Mitnehmen bestellen kann, gibt es eine unglaubliche Auswahl an leckeren und gesunden Optionen. Wir haben uns für den veganen Brownie entschieden und er war super lecker! Eine großartige Option für einen schnellen und gesunden Snack.

Frisch, leckere Salate und tolle Location!

I loved the food and I came back here often because I thought the employees just had a bad day. But the truth is, the people here are just very unhappy to work there (except for the man). Today the new employee (brown hair) blamed me for her mistake (not adding my student discount) and she wanted me to pay without it. Then I said I didn’t want to and was about to leave. Only then she asked her coworker for help and she then added the discount within a millisecond. During the whole process she did not talk to me and told her coworker „to talk to me“ as she crossed her arms like an upset child. She changed the language and it seemed like her german was very bad. Additional problems: No Wifi, no restrooms and the door bell is always ringing. If you want the very good Dean & David Food I‘d recommend a different location.

Gestern war ich zusammen mit einer Freundin in der Mittagspause hier. Trotz sehr langer Schlange ging es zügig voran,da wir die App nutzen 😉 sodass wir unsere Pause dann noch ganz gemütlich draußen auf der Terrasse mit einem Sandwich und einen Smothie genießen können! Tolle Mitarbeiter vor Ort -wir kommen wieder! :)

Ich esse hier regelmäßig die Chicken Bowls und die sind einfach der Hammer. Gutes Essen aus guten Zutaten, frisch zubereitet zum Fairen Preis! Über die App sammle ich auch gut Punkte!

Wie immer Mega lecker. Mein absoluter Favourite Planted.Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Das Chicken ist aus Erbsenprotein. I love it!!

Der Paris Salat ist die zehn Euro nicht wert. Trockener, ältlicher Salat, lieblos, 5 Trauben, grob reingeworfener Käse, bisschen Paprika und 4 Nüsse! Damit die Box voll wird, wird das Dressing in den Salat gestellt. Lecker ist anders.

Selten einen solch leckeren und frisch zubereiteten Salat gegessen! Die Bedienung war freundlich und immer am lächeln gewesen, ein junges und motiviertes Team. Preis Leistung empfinde ich für ca. 8-12 Euro bei der Frische und den verwendeten Zutaten als völlig angemessen. Ich war heute das erste mal dort und freue mich schon auf die nächsten Besuche, super Laden!

Das Team hat unseren Besuch am Anfang der Woche zu einer kleinen Freude gemacht. Sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend! Unser Sohn hat viele Allergien und zusammen konnten wir für ihn schnell etwas leckeres finden. Die Salate und der Wrap waren groß genug und köstlich. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Trip sehr gerne wieder!

Loved the salads at Dean & David. Fresh ingredients. Never saw a Dean or David inside. Helpfull staff. Restocking could be better, we heard 'we don't have ....' about four times about different parts of various meals.

... hat aber in allen Belangen ein wenig nachgelassen. Man bekommt gutes Essen, aber nicht mehr wie vor 2 Jahren. Der Geschmack, das Angebot haben leicht abgebaut.

Hier ist das Personal sehr freundlich, die Salate sind schön zubereitet und angerichtet. Dieser Laden hept sich von anderen Dean & David Filialen ab, weil er einfach noch ein bisschen besser ist.

Erster Dean and David überhaupt und meiner Meinung auch der Beste. Die Salate sind immer frisch und die Portionen gleich. Ich liebe die Specials und auch die Curries sind super!
