We're staying here for three nights. Unfortunately, we stumbled upon this restaurant. I ordered shawarma and falafel. The shawarma was already sliced and very small. It felt like it was a mix of old and new. And with the salad, it was completely different from what you'd expect from shawarma. The falafel was ripe on the outside and not at all. You could smell the oil, which was very old. I wouldn't recommend it at all. One star is too many.

This shop is great and makes really delicious food

The portion is quite decent for the price. Unfortunately, the meat was already pre-sliced. That's why the shawarma was cold. The shop has two small tables. I sat at one of them, unfortunately without a plate. Consequently, I couldn't eat the pieces that fell out of the roll and landed on the table. The meat itself was already cooked. The spicy sauce, which is basically chili oil, made it even worse, leaving a puddle of oil on the table. 20 minutes after I left the shop, the puddle of oil was still on the table.

The food was super delicious, mango and yogurt sauce were my highlights 😋

Small shop, but the best value for money in the whole city. You will be welcomed by a friendly team, and the diverse menu offers an absolute culinary delight, regardless of whether you want to eat animal, vegetarian or vegan food. Everyone will be full and happy here. :) You'd really have to be an idiot to ignore this shop.

Now that I'm looking for something else... I was able to get it here in the summer and fall of 2024. I don't have any photos, there are probably enough of them here. The food was simply sensational. Maybe I'll be able to eat here again in 2025, at least I hope so.

I've tried a lot of sandwiches, but I've never had a sandwich like this in the store. Just wow, the price is great. Another thing worth mentioning is the systematic staff, who are always extremely friendly and accommodating.

But I was particularly impressed by the falafel: crispy on the outside, wonderfully fluffy on the inside, and with fresh, perfectly balanced spices. There are also excellent sauces and side dishes. A must for everyone who loves authentic and high-quality oriental cuisine!

Haven't been there for a long time since they only serve chicken and no longer lamb meat. The taste was okay and the service was friendly, BUT... ...unfortunately the man behind the counter is fiddling with the food with his bare hands, then cashes in on several customers, gives out change and reaches into the food again. After the rolled shawarma was in the contact grill, I was almost surprised that he still washed his hands. But probably because he had sauce on his hands and not because he had touched money. When asked that he would have been better off washing his hands immediately after changing money, he said that it always had to be done quickly. So throughput comes before hygiene - and I was just the second of three customers. Normally customers are standing at the door... So it always seems to work that way there and unfortunately there was no evidence of any wrongdoing. Instead, they looked past me and gave me my food first - probably because I was perceived as a troublemaker who they wanted to get rid of quickly. My last visit to the "Daya Imbiss"...! EDIT: According to the operator's answer: Lamb or any meat other than chicken. I don't know how long ago it was, but back in the day (maybe more than 8 years ago) there were two rotisserie spits. It was also important to separate food and money. There was no argument and neither of the other two customers present gave me the impression that they felt uncomfortable in my presence. I told your employee in a calm tone that he should have washed his hands immediately after changing the money. And if I were from the public order office, I would probably close the shop. But I'm not from the public order office and I also ate your shawarma. For me this is neither bullying nor intrusive behavior. I didn't accuse you of your shop being dirty, I just criticized the behavior of your employee. But I still don't see that you don't understand that you shouldn't touch money and then food with your bare hands without washing your hands in between (!).

I have never eaten such a tasteless kebab in my life and the sauce was disgusting. I don't understand why there is a dish on the menu that people don't know how to cook. I wouldn't recommend it

Chicken has no flavor. Shawarma sandwich had no taste. The only good thong is they press the wrap & the bread is crispy but the content of sandwich is barly edible. Had a couple of bites & through the rest away. They said minimum €7 to use my credit card. Bad customer service.

I didnt like it at all, they dont take care of the taste of the food, no seasonings, food is burned and u can only taste the sauces. So disgusting.

First the food needs 10-15 mins and to find a place to sit you need 5 mins Second the food is burned from the inside theres not much sauces and just doesnt taste good...

The place doesn't deserve even 1 star. The reviews are clearly fake . The place is not recommended for so many reasons. The food is tasteless. It is a fake Arabic place. The composition of the sandwiches makes no sense.no place to sit. The staff is not friendly. I am speechless frankly for this horrible experience.
