We ate here for the first time yesterday, and it was very good! A small restaurant with takeout options and indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are recommended. The service was quick and good, and the food, especially the meat, was juicy and well-seasoned. We'd love to come back!

One of my favorite spots to eat in Monheim. The food is always fresh and cooked right when you order. They have both healthy options and regular daily dishes. The meat is really good too, always well prepared. The place is small, simple, kind of European style, clean and cozy. About the service: it’s quick and straight to the point. Not super friendly, but not rude either. You order, eat, pay, and go. And honestly, that’s totally fine when the food is this good.

As a person who tried various asian foods in different countries, I can say it is one of the best experiences I usually have. And I go there quite often! Very much recommended!

Mega good sushi at absolutely fair prices! The quality is top – fresh, tasteful and beautifully prepared. The lunch menu in particular is unbeatable: great selection, great portion sizes and really good value for money. If you love sushi, you should definitely stop by here!

Once and never again! Attention: The waitress ripped us off €8.90 for a bottle of still water Vio (0.75), which wasn't on the menu (but was €2.20 for 0.33 according to the menu). She didn't give us a receipt and, after fruitless discussions and complaints, outrageously said: we could order 2 small waters next time.

I would never eat in this restaurant again, even though the food wasn't bad. I paid €8.90 for a bottle of Vio water (0.75 L)! The waitress said a bottle of water costs €7.90, which is already expensive enough for a snack. In the end she actually received 8.90 because she charged €36.70 for 2 meals at 13.90 each and the bottle of water. When I said that €8.90 for the bottle is expensive when the menu says €2.20 for a glass of water (0.3 L), she cheekily replied “then order a glass next time!” There will definitely not be a next time in this restaurant!!

Fantastic food and very affordable

Last night I got fried rice with chicken and vegetables to take away twice. Saw at home that there was NO chicken in both portions. That was the second time - it's not possible for 8.50 euros per portion.

Very friendly staff and the food was delicious.

A wonderful restaurant! We were there with a large group and kept the kitchen busy! The service was super friendly and made everything possible! The food was outstanding! I would give 19 stars if possible!! Sushi is absolutely fantastic! The curry with beef fillet is an absolute poem! I would also recommend the ice cream in a rice coating - absolutely great! A culinary enrichment! 🤩💪❤️

I ordered fried rice to go today and realized at home that it was noodles! And that was after a long wait and unfriendly service. No greeting or "goodbye" as I left. This definitely needs to be addressed. On top of that, other people didn't charge for the sauce for the "noodles," but they did charge me. Very strange.

Have been there several times. The quality has decreased each time. Unfortunately, it is currently no longer sufficient for us. The lady (at the checkout) is extremely unfriendly. Communication with customers is quick and disrespectful.

The food is really really good and everything was freshly prepared. The restaurant is a bit narrow and the waiting time between the starter and the main course was a bit long. But everything is within reason. I can only recommend it.

The rest of the family said the sushi should taste good. I ordered udun with Argentinian sirloin steak and I am not at all satisfied. The noodles were mushy and fatty, the beef was gristly and the supposed wild herb salad was an ordinary mixed salad with pieces of roasted peanuts that weren't specified... I'm an allergy sufferer, luckily one that doesn't make it dangerous, just ugly. As for vegetables, I found three pieces of pepper (but they could also belong to the mixed salad carelessly poured over them), 4 pieces of mushrooms and three pieces of broccoli. Since the food was floating in fat, I was full. Conclusion: not very tasty, cheaply prepared and more expensive than in other Asian restaurants. If you're not into sushi or have a peanut allergy, stay away.

And it tasted very good!!! We can definitely recommend it and we will definitely come back. Price performance is right!

The staff and the older woman who serves are very unfriendly and disrespectful. She simply threw the cutlery on the table. The noodles were extremely salty. The quality has deteriorated a lot. Therefore only 1 star

This sushi and the other dishes are indescribably good. Everything freshly made. Simply delicious. UPDATE: So far there hasn't been a dish that wasn't tasty. Everything is so tasty and appetizingly prepared. If I'm short on time, I order something and pick it up. Good consistent quality

The food is fantastic. I love the Pho soup, among other things. 🥣 It is a strengthening and energizing soup. I feel so good afterwards. Very nice service and we always feel comfortable at Day Du. I often grab a box at lunchtime and then feel well fed and prepared for the afternoon. An enrichment for Monheim Mitte!

If you like freshly prepared food that stands out from the usual fast food mush thanks to the spices and ingredients used, then you've come to the right place. I eat there regularly and love it. Only recommended!!

Ich bin echt mal wieder enttäuscht. Hab mir auf die schnelle die Box 2 bestellt. (Gebratene Nudeln MIT HÄHNCHENFLEISCH ). Das Fleisch hab ich vergeblich gesucht. Nicht ein einziges Stück Fleisch war drin. Bekommen habe also die Box 1 zum Preis von Box 2. Einsicht vom Personal = 0. Nicht mal eine Entschuldigung gab es. Auch die Differenz hab ich nicht zurückgezahlt bekommen Daumen runter 👎

Sehr nettes Personal und das Essen war sehr gut. Das Fleisch war perfekt angebraten. Hier wurde nichts einfach aus der Truhe in die Friteuse gehauen sondern wirklich frisch zubereitet. Die Preise sind für die Qualität fair und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir gehen hier regelmäßig essen oder bestellen etwas zum Mitnehmen. Das Essen ist immer hervorragend. Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und haben eine tolle Qualität. Der Service ist auch sehr gut. Wir sind froh, dass es DayDu in Monheim gibt!

Went there at around 14:00 for the lunch menu (11:00-16:00) for some warm and hearty Pho Bo (Beef Pho). Expecting the price of 9.90€ as advertised for the lunch menu, but got told to pay the dinner price of 12.80€. After pointing out the lunch menu prices and asking if there was a possible mix up, they again told me to pay the dinner price. For 9.90€ the Pho would've been perfectly fine and something to consider every now and then. 12.80€ however is quite pricey for it, as they went really sparse on the Coriander (cilantro for the americans) and all other toppings. The broth was quite good though. Just as i was expecting/hoping it would be and pretty much how I know it from home. They didn't automatically offer a lime with it, as per usual for Pho, but gave me one after asking for it at least.

Vietnamesische Gerichte und Sushi in der Monheimer Innenstadt. Die Karte ist groß. Mittags gibt es aber ein übersichtliches Menü. Auf der Karte steht vor allem Essen mit Fleisch und Fisch. Es gibt vereinzelt vegetarische Optionen. Mein Curry war sehr lecker. Die Preise sind okay. Zahlung klappt problemlos per Kreditkarte.

Heute spontan dort mit 4 Personen eingekehrt. Das Restaurant ist klein aber sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten Sushi und Sommerrollen als Vorspeise und diverse Hauptspeisen. Alle Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Lange nicht mehr soooo gut asiatisch gegessen. Die Bedienung war flott und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Essen sehr gut, Bedienung meistens freundlich, Preise in Ordnung. Die Portionen könnten ein wenig größer sein (vor allem bei der Suppe Pho und beim Daydo Gericht).

Leckeres Essen Tolles Sushi 🍣 🍣 Schönes kleines Restaurant am besten vorher einen Tisch reservieren

Das Sushi, die Lage und der Service sind sehr gut. Die Wartezeit ist jedoch länger als der Durchschnitt, die Getränke dauerten etwa 20-30 Minuten und das Sushi dauerte rund eine Stunde, obwohl das Restaurant sehr leer war. Wenn man nur für Sushi dorthin gehen, ist es schon nicht günstig im Vergleich zu japanischen Sushi Restaurants in Düsseldorf. Avocado Maki kostet €5,00 und Sake Maki kostet €5,50.

Die Entenbrust sieht nicht nur gut aus, schmeckt auch toll.

Essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Zwischendurch sehr lange Wartezeiten aufgrund von schlechter Planung und dem ToGo Verkauf. Gäste im Laden warten ewig weil die ganze Zeit schnell die ToGo Kunden bedient werden. Bedienung ist ziemlich desinteressiert und man hat den Eindruck sie wartet darauf dass Feierabend wird. Leider nimmt sich auch niemand im Laden Kritik an. Dieses Mal sind wir einfach aufgestanden und gegangen. Auch das war allen ziemlich egal und keine Entschuldigung oder Ähnliches.

Super leckeres Essen, sowohl Sushi als auch alles andere. Ich bin sehr gerne dort und vielen Dank an das ganze Team 😊👍

Unsere Stadt wird immer "größer" und immer schöner. Hier zu Essen war ein reiner Gaumenschmaus! Frisch gegarte Ente mit ausgezeichneten Leckereien, nicht totgebrachen sondern saftig schmackhaft lecker. Was soll ich noch schreiben. Nette Gastgeber haben uns super bedient. Wir werden sicher Widerholungstäter!

Habe seit langem nicht so ein gutes Sushi gegessen wie hier und habe schon viele Restaurants ausprobiert. Das Sushi wird auch sehr schön angerichtet und die alkoholfreien selbstgemachten Getränke schmecken auch fantastisch. Der Laden sieht von außen betrachtet etwas unscheinbarer aus (auf den ersten Blick bisschen nach Schnellimbiss) aber der Schein trügt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker.
