Very, very tasty food. Nice service.

The food was simply delicious. Not too salty and not bland.

And another very pleasant surprise. The online reservation was easy, and when we arrived, we only had to decide whether we wanted to eat outside or inside. The waiters (male and female) in stylish traditional costumes were very friendly and had everything under control. Even from the menu, you could tell that you had arrived in "Bavarian territory." There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food. It came on warm plates, deliciously presented, everything was perfect, and even the side salad (bowl) had a lot to offer. I won't give away any more. Try it. It's worth it.

The inn in Obernburg impresses with its excellent food and is a true culinary experience. The inviting ambiance, both inside and outside, invites you to linger, and the service is always friendly, attentive, and prompt. A place we would gladly return to anytime.

A lovely inn with excellent food that you can afford. The courtyard is sheltered from traffic noise and is a great place to have a chat. The decor is modern, too. The service is friendly and attentive. The icing on the cake are the jokes on the menu.

The Wirtshaus in Obernburg is a cozy inn with good food. Reservations in advance are recommended, but two (or four) people can often find a spot spontaneously. However, there is a star deduction for the price/performance ratio. A salad for just under €20 or a burger for over €20 is quite steep and only satisfies a small hunger. The restaurant writes on its menu that the high prices can be justified by the pay of the staff.

We were very disappointed with the food....we ate the asparagus/Schupfnudeln/Salmon wild garlic pan.... Price/performance ratio wasn't right....it was just Schupfnudeln with exactly 3 mini pieces of asparagus....we had imagined completely different things..

Yesterday we were at “Das Wirtshaus” in Obernburg and again I gave it 5 stars. The ambience, service and food were exceptionally good. The wonderful evening with friends continued in “Fräulein Lotte” with great cocktails. 💯

Were there for the first time and will definitely come back. A delicious and creamy Obatzda and wonderful Schäuferla followed. The burger was delicious and the dessert left us full and more than satisfied. The service was very attentive, other restaurants can learn a lesson from that. What more could you want! We will be back and have already recommended the inn to colleagues and friends.

What can I say… For me, one of the best German restaurants in our area. They are now regular guests and always find it to be great. Food quality and price performance is a 1 with a star. The operators are also very great hosts. We always feel comfortable and the service is always courteous.

Anyone who is a fan of Bavarian cuisine will definitely get their money's worth here. Great value for money, great selection and variety, great ambience and service. Our vegetarians particularly liked the selection; they didn't just find one dish, they were spoiled for choice. We come from Hesse, so we had a correspondingly long journey ahead of us. We will still come back, the quality is simply convincing.

I just read the other reviews too. I definitely can't confirm the negative. Our reservation went through with absolute confidence and we also had a nice seat upstairs. We've been there twice and couldn't complain about the food, the service or the waiting time. Considering that the restaurant was packed and the service staff were just running around, it still went relatively quickly. Anyone who has ever worked in this area knows what they have accomplished after a day like this. We always reward good staff and good service with tips. See you again soon...

The inn is an enrichment for Obernburg! It is decorated in a cult style and invites you to linger. I've been able to enjoy something from the kitchen a few times now and I'm positively impressed by it. Depending on the time of day and year, the beer garden also has places where you can enjoy the sun.

We were here for dinner this afternoon. I ordered veal liver “Berliner Style”. The liver (2 pieces), one piece was very good, the second piece could not be identified by me, my wife, or the waitress who was called. It was an extremely bad tasting mass, but definitely not fresh liver. The waitress took my plate into the kitchen, came back and said that the chef had tried it and found the taste strange. I'll probably never know what it actually was. I was then offered another meal as an alternative, which I accepted, but unfortunately the taste of the “LIVER” is still on my tongue. By the way, there was not a word of apology, they even tried to charge me for the liver. This place won't see me anymore.

Nice, middle-class atmosphere. However, I find the dishes very simple and nothing that really excites me. The prices are too high for the quality (hardly any “homemade”). And if you want a children's plate or want to order something from the menu as a small portion (as an adult) you have to pay an extra charge. 🙄😳 Sorry, but I don't come here anymore

Was my first visit. To put it briefly: food was great (had roast pork), beer was good, service was good (attentive when drinks were about to run out). Come back ;-)

Disappointing visit with room for improvement Unfortunately, our visit to the inn left a lot to be desired. 🤷‍♂️ Although the Bavarian-style atmosphere with Christmas decorations was appealing, the extreme volume - probably due to several Christmas parties - significantly impaired the ability to have a conversation. 🙉 A prior notice of such events would have been helpful. The plant-based dish “Currywurst Berliner Style” was convincing in terms of taste, but the portion was significantly too small for the price of €13.80. 😞 A larger sausage and/or more side dishes would be appropriate to improve value for money. The taste of our companion's dishes was also okay, but there were no highlights that justified the high price. 🙁 The service was disappointing: rudeness when clearing up and an annoyed tone when paying marred the evening. 🤯 As guests, we expect professional service regardless of the staff's workload. We hope that the inn will accept and implement criticism constructively in order to fully exploit the potential of the establishment. 📈 A restaurant should not only strive for economic success, but also make people happy with good food and a positive experience - right?🧐

Unfortunately not recommended for us We came on a Wednesday evening and reserved a table at 7:30 p.m. When we registered, we had to wait about 5 minutes until we were shown to the table. It took some time until drinks etc. were added. There were probably several Christmas parties at that time, which not only worsened the acoustics, so that conversations were hardly possible. Then we waited 45 minutes for our food. The portions were very small and tasted OK. The table was cleared even though not everyone had finished eating. When I asked if everything was OK with the food, the waiter turned around while you were saying something and simply stopped listening. When we asked to pay it took some time again and the lady also had an inappropriate tone. It's a shame because the other reviews here read different things or we got the wrong day. But all in all very disappointing PS: if you can't take criticism or are not interested in changing something in 2024 then you should leave it alone

We went to the inn unannounced for the first time on Sunday. We were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. The ambience in the inn is amazing, the friendliness of the service staff is sensational and the competence and friendliness of the hotel clerk Sophia is unique and so we felt completely at home. The food is very well prepared and tastes excellent. All in all a very good choice and we will come back at any time.

We spent a wonderful evening in the inn in Obermburg. The service was extremely courteous, attentive and very friendly. You immediately notice that service is very important here. The ambience is simply great – the furnishings are harmonious and create a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. It was particularly nice to sit on the gallery, from where you have a great view of the entire restaurant. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! Highly recommended!

We had the onion roast, the Leberkäse and the Rösti. All dishes were delicious. The only complaint was that there was no small side salad with the onion roast. I think you can ask for that for €30. The apricot dumplings for dessert were also delicious.

The food is always good here, with something for everyone. Hearty with meat or healthy vegan. 🌱 The prices are adjusted to today's times, the ingredients are high quality. As well as the premises. It is advisable to make a reservation on weekends.

At first we were assigned a reserved "high table" at the entrance, but THANKS to Alessandra we were able to move to a normal table. Their service was particularly great, fresh, courteous and open to fun comments. We were able to spend a sociable evening in the WIRTSHAUS, everything went well and the food, including the draft beer, was good! It wasn't our last visit.

We recently visited the inn and had mixed experiences. The reservation went smoothly - the lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful. We were three adults and one child and were looking forward to a relaxing evening. As a starter, two of us ordered the beef broth, while our child chose a tomato soup. The starters came quickly and were fine. However, our child also received the main course (schnitzel with fries) at the same time as the soup, which made things a little unfortunate. So while the child had already finished eating, we adults had to wait about 45 minutes for our main courses. My veal schnitzel with fries for €27 was good, but not outstanding. Another strange experience was that after about an hour in the restaurant I was contacted by phone and asked when we were coming - even though we had already been there and had a table for four people. All in all, a mixed experience: friendly service on the phone, but some organizational misunderstandings and long waiting times marred the evening.

I've had lunch and dinner in this great restaurant a few times, and every time it was delicious, I'd be happy to do so again.

Thanks for that! Never experienced anything like this!!! We enjoyed it excellently. The really attentive staff often came to the table to ask if everything was okay. The quick service in the quiet beer garden was great. Very happy again. Thank you very much.

A wonderful inn with excellent service! The staff was extremely accommodating and all the dishes we tried were delicious. I would particularly like to highlight the vegetarian Frankfurter Schnitzel with green sauce - a great idea to offer this traditional dish as a veggie version. It was really tasty and there are great options for vegetarians. Overall, a very pleasant restaurant that I would happily recommend.

Very expensive, each supplement is charged separately. Even salad has to be paid extra and the portions are very clear. I had a steak only with fries, nothing else without salad 29 € in Carambolage the steak twice as big with mushrooms, onions and salad also 29 €

Unfortunately, price and performance no longer match. There were three of us there at lunchtime. Everyone had a salad and a drink. Together you come to over €90. Yes, inflation and stuff, I understand. But the quality doesn't match the prices at all. The salad looked to all of us(!) as if it had already been waiting on the plate for 2 hours, was dried out and had slightly brown edges. Dressing okay. Bread okay. If the only component that stood out was the chicken breast, which was really successful, I would deduct another *. I'm sorry to say, but I can eat out cheaper and with better quality even in the big city. The pricing is incomprehensible.

The inn was well attended, but it was still possible to get a seat without a reservation. The food was okay, nothing special. The service was rather bad, you were rushed and the staff made an annoyed, unfriendly impression. The prices are okay too, maybe a bit overpriced for what you get.
