Spontaneously found and visited on Google! Best decision!!! The chef comes to the table personally to discuss any special food requests, make recommendations and implement them promptly! Thanks for that! Never experienced anything like this!!! We enjoyed it excellently. The really attentive staff often came to the table to ask if everything was okay. The quick service in the quiet beer garden was great. Very happy again. Thank you very much.

A wonderful inn with excellent service! The staff was extremely accommodating and all the dishes we tried were delicious. I would particularly like to highlight the vegetarian Frankfurter Schnitzel with green sauce - a great idea to offer this traditional dish as a veggie version. It was really tasty and there are great options for vegetarians. Overall, a very pleasant restaurant that I would happily recommend.

Very expensive, each supplement is charged separately. Even salad has to be paid extra and the portions are very clear. I had a steak only with fries, nothing else without salad 29 € in Carambolage the steak twice as big with mushrooms, onions and salad also 29 €

Unfortunately, price and performance no longer match. There were three of us there at lunchtime. Everyone had a salad and a drink. Together you come to over €90. Yes, inflation and stuff, I understand. But the quality doesn't match the prices at all. The salad looked to all of us(!) as if it had already been waiting on the plate for 2 hours, was dried out and had slightly brown edges. Dressing okay. Bread okay. If the only component that stood out was the chicken breast, which was really successful, I would deduct another *. I'm sorry to say, but I can eat out cheaper and with better quality even in the big city. The pricing is incomprehensible.

The inn was well attended, but it was still possible to get a seat without a reservation. The food was okay, nothing special. The service was rather bad, you were rushed and the staff made an annoyed, unfriendly impression. The prices are okay too, maybe a bit overpriced for what you get.

A pearl in Obernburg between Spessart and Odenwald. Finally a decent pub with good food (plenty for vegetarians). Friendly staff who didn't mince words. So great. And a fair reaction to a tip that didn't require a reaction. Overall, an inn as you could wish for. Thank you, you made our last evening special.

Cordon Bleu with fries and the onion roast were very tasty. The special requests to exchange the inserts were taken into account. The homemade iced tea was also very tasty. We would. For a relatively large amount of money, little food. To charge 20 euros for a small burger with some fries or more than 6 euros for two small dumplings is a disgrace. The food was too salty for that.

It was my first time in the inn. Let's start positively. The atmosphere is very nice. It was just a little noisy, but that's what a well-filled dining room of this size brings with it. The beer tastes very good. The service was very nice, except that he came to my table too often and asked if we would like to consume something else. It's certainly meant in a nice way, but it's a bit annoying when the question is asked 4 times within 30 minutes. Unfortunately the food was mediocre and too expensive. We had a César salad and a sausage salad. Both tasted a bit bland and the fried potatoes were too oily and not crispy. We paid around €50 for three beers and the two meals. These are Frankfurt prices and I wouldn't have expected that here. If the quality is right, then gladly. But I think it's overpriced.

Very nicely done inn, with a pretty beer garden. Nice and shady. The homemade iced tea is great and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the food doesn't do so well. Here the price-performance ratio starts to falter a bit. Unfortunately, for the prices, the extra decoration, presentation and quality was missing. The ambience and especially the staff definitely deserve 5 stars.

We ate there with four people! On a Thursday at 6:45 p.m. all the tables on the ground floor were reserved. Upon request and please! We then got a table on the almost empty first floor. The food was great for all four, as was the beer. The service was very friendly!

Prices are now extremely high. The prices make you feel like you're in a ski resort. With a price for a soup of almost €8 and a veal cordon bleu for €30, the price performance is no longer suitable. We have been visiting the inn for a long time, but will look for alternatives in the future as the quality of the food does not match the prices.

Nice inn, very fast and friendly service. Good atmosphere overall. We had a very nice evening. The food was very good - but the price was already high. A liver dumpling soup 8 euros, a portion of Obatzter 11 euros, Schäufele with dumplings 22 euros. Schnitzel and burgers 18 - 20 euros. The menu mentions the increase in VAT as a reason. Nevertheless, one of the most expensive country inns that I have recently visited in various regions of Germany. By the way, that is also the opinion of the 5 friends who were there.

Durch Zufall hier gelandet, weil anderes Lokal voll war. Ganz tolles uriges aber schickes Ambiente, geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Umfangreiche Speisekarte. Preise im oberen Bereich- aber sehr lecker und sehr gute Qualität - alles mit Lieferanten aus der Region. Sehr freundliche Bedienung/Mitarbeiter. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 💯

Better back then?… It has always been my favorite German restaurant. However, last time I was a little disappointed. The menu has changed a bit, which is generally fine and there was almost certainly a different chef at work. But the attached pictures say more than words: in mid-2023 there was a super crispy cooked cheese schnitzel with a delicious side dish, lovingly executed, and today unfortunately a schnitzel that was quite softened in oil with a simple side dish and executed “quickly”. Please do it again like it used to be! :-)

My brother who lives in the area took me here for some very traditional German food. I know some of the local balk at the prices, but you get a delicious meal…they even have it on there menu saying while the prices are not cheap, the food is worth it. Great location and unique interior as a former brewery. Service was great and spoke great English even though we didn’t need it. The jagerschnitzel with spatel was amazing! You can’t go wrong here. 5 different meals and 3 beers for around 100€

Kurze Anmerkung zum Personal... Reise sehr viel und habe selten vielleicht nie so einen schnellen, professionellen und vor allem netten Service vorgefunden.... Ein Kompliment an alle

Der Service ist sehr gut, die Mädels sind aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen ist gut und reichlich. Nicht ganz günstig, aber noch annehmbar. Rustikal eingerichtet aber trotzdem modern. Reservierung wird empfohlen, meistens gut besetzt

Das Wirtshaus in Obernburg ist ein gemütliches Gasthaus mit gutem Essen. Eine Reservierung im voraus ist empfehlenswert, aber zu Zweit (oder Viert) lässt sich auch oft spontan ein Plätzchen finden. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es jedoch für das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ein Salat für knapp 20€ oder ein Burger für über 20€ ist schon reichlich happig und stillt doch eher nur den kleinen Hunger. Allerdings schreit das Restaurant auf seiner Speisekarte, dass die hohen Preise durch die Bezahlung des Personals zu rechtfertigen sind.

Das Lokal in bayerischer Aufmachung ist hübsch hergerichtet und zentral gelegen. Parkplätze i.d. Umgebung sind kostenpflichtig. Das Essen war durchschnittlich, die Sauce eher ein Fertigprodukt. Der Service war trotz des großen Andrangs sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Preis Leistung stimmt. Sehr leckeres Sorbet Eis.

Trotz rechtzeitiger Reservierung (vor Ort im Restaurant) und fester Zusage durch die verantwortliche Mitarbeiterin haben wir am 29.12.23 um 18.00 h NICHT den gebuchten Tisch (Platz für 8 Erwachsene) bekommen. Stattdessen war dieser Tisch mit 3 (!!) Personen besetzt und uns wurde ein enger Tisch (4 bis max 6) Personen zugewiesen mit dem unverschämten Hinweis, dieser sei besser für 8 Personen? Das Personal war auch zunächst NICHT gewillt, Abhilfe zu schaffen. Vielmehr wurde uns erklärt, es sei ein Reservierungsfehler unterlaufen. Dem war aber definitiv nicht so, zumal meine Schwester beim Reservierungsvorgang anwesend war und diese einsehen konnte -> die Buchung wurde im Reservierungssystem korrekt angezeigt. Nachdem sich meine Schwester weitere 10 Minuten mit dem verantwortlichen Servicepersonal auseinandergesetzt hat, wurden die 3 Personen 'gnädigerweise' an einen passenden Tisch platziert (denn gegessen hatten sie schon). Wertschätzung seiner Gäste sieht anders aus !

Wir waren am 24.12. unterwegs und dachten schon wir müssen verhungern, alles was wir kannten war geschlossen. So sind wir im Wirtshaus in Oberburg gelandet. Ein nettes Mädl in Lederhose hat uns einen Platz ganz oben geben. Trinken und Essen kam recht schnell, ich hatte einen Jungschweinebraten der sehr zart war in einer leckeren Soße, die Frau hatte Käsespätzle mit einem tollen Bergkäse, das esse ich sonst nie weil meist Kaugummi Käse mit geschmacklosen Spätzle, aber hier ist das anders, der Bergkäse ist kein Kaugummi und gibt den Spätzle einen sehr guten Geschmack. Beim nächsten Besuch werde ich mal Käsespätzle essen. Es war sehr voll und ein wenig laut vor allem wenn man oben an der Galerie sitzt, bei der nächsten Renovierung mal über eine Schallschutzdecke nachdenken.

Gemütliches Restaurant, im Stil einer Brauerei dekoriert. Leckere Speisen aus der deutschen Küche und freundliche Bedienungen. Reservierung ist empfehlenswert, da oft sehr gut besucht!

Klasyka niemieckiej kuchni. Od sznycla w kilku wersjach przez kiełbaski do steków. My zamówiliśmy sznycel i pieczona łopatkę w stylu golonki. Mięsa smaczne i mięciutkie jednak dodatki zawiodły. Pieczone ziemniaki nie były chrupiące, a nasiąknięte tłuszczem i mdłe. Ziemniaki który miały być gotowane, również zostały podsmażone co jednoznaczne pokazuje że jest to produkt kupowany na wpół ugotowany. Surówka z kapusty to jedynie kapusta z octem i oliwą. Ciężka kuchnie można na szczęście przepić szeroka gamą trunków. Wnętrze bardzo przyjemne, klimatyczne. Obsługa szybka i bardzo miła. Ceny adekwatne do jakości. W okolicy niestety mało miejsc do parkowania.

Neue Preise. Kässpätzle für 15 Euro gemessen am Materialwert schon ziemlich teuer fürs Dorf.

Leckeres Essen und sehr netter Service. Was mir sehr gut gefallen hat, war dass ich ohne Probleme die Personenanzahl korrigieren konnte. Die Gans war sehr gut zubereitet und sehr lecker. Der einzige Manko war der Espresso. Dieser schmeckte etwas verbrannt. Das soll aber das Gesamtbild nicht trüben.

Waren heute zu 7 dort essen und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend gehabt. Dass Ambiente ist sehr schön dass Essen sehr lecker. Hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte und allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und es sind ordentliche Portionen. Der Service war SEHR freundlich und immer präsent . Absolut empfehlenswert. Nur zu empfehlen, lecker Essen,sehr schönes Ambiente.

Als Tourist habe ich mich bei der Menüwahl komplett auf die nette Servicekraft (Larissa) verlassen und würde absolut nicht enttäuscht. Das empfohlene Bier war ein Traum und die empfohlene Martinsgans ein Genuss. Zum Dessert gab's Zimtschneckenkuchen und hat das Ganze perfekt abgerundet. Kläre Empfehlung hier zu essen und zu trinken. Preislich im oberen Mittelfeld unterwegs aber auf jeden Fall lohnt es sich.

Ich war heute das erste Mal hier im Wirtshaus und es war ganz sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Der Service ist top und auch das Ambiente sehr schön. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Man kann es nur empfehlen.

Toll wie immer.. Essen war Klasse 04.11.23 waren heute mit 9 Leuten zum Essen dort. Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Abend mit leckeren Essen und guten Service. Danke!

Das essen ist gut, der Preis ist etwas gehoben. Die Kellner/innen sind sehr freundlich, Reservierung ist im Sommer empfehlenswert. Es gibt einen Außenbereich der sehr schön ist, aber in der Hütte draußen staut sich im Sommer die Hitze das ist sehr unangenehm.

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Portionen auch ausreichend. Die Preise sind gehoben aber solange die Angestellten auch davon profitieren, wie in der Karte angegeben, ist das absolut gerechtfertigt. Wir durften unseren Hund mitnehmen und nehmen die Fahrzeit von einer Stunde gerne wieder auf uns und kommen auf jeden fall wieder!
