Wir sind durch Instagram auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden und heute haben wir uns auf den Weg gemacht und wir können nur sagen, es war Mega lecker, super nettes Personal. Der Weg hat sich definitiv gelohnt und wir können es nur weiterempfehlen ⭐️

Super leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches Personal, absolut Faires Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Zusätzlicher positiver Punkt, es ist Klimatisiert , was bei den Temperaturen eine tolle Sache ist.

Top Restaurant. Essen, Service, Räumlichkeiten und Preise wirklich hervorragend.

Wir haben gestern Abend spontan noch einen Tisch bekommen für zwei Personen und ein Baby. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und der Service war einfach klasse. Auch das Essen war spitze und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wurde hochgelobt, leider konnten wir bisher nie bestellen. 1. Versuch: telefonisch keiner erreichbar, trotz Öffnung, weil scheinbar ein Event. 2. Versuch: telefonisch erreicht, Abholung gewünscht, aber leider keine Bestellannahme, Aussage: das ist heute leider nicht möglich, ohne Begründung. Schade, aber jetzt habe ich keine Lust mehr 👎🏻

Immer super lecker und sehr preiswert. Wöchentlich wechselnder Mittagstisch zu günstigen Preise. Die Burger sind hervorragend und der Schnitzelturm ist der Hammer. Auch die Desserts sind sehr zu empfehlen, besonders das selbstgemachte Eis und der Cheesecake. Auch für größere Gruppen geeignet. Eine Top Adresse in der Gemeinde Altenstadt.

Waren um 18 Uhr an einem Sonntag da, es hatte nicht offen. Dies wurde niergends angegeben und wir standen vor verschlossener Tür.

Es gibt mit Sicherheit "schönere" Ambiente, ABER das Essen ist einfach grandios. Wir sind immer wieder begeistert und sind Wiederholungstäter 😅 zuletzt beim Osterbuffet, das keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat. Auswahl genau richtig und für jeden etwas dabei. Absolute Empfehlung!

Klein aber fein. Moderne Gemütlichkeit. Super Service und richtig lecker Essen. Preisleistung passt. Leider funktionieren keine Debit-Karten, die nun mal immer mehr genutzt werden. Einzigstes Manko… Frühzeitig reservieren, es lohnt sich 🫶🏼

Wir kamen durch Empfehlung und Soziale Medien hier her. Das Essen ist super lecker wir hatten div. Schnitzel mit Beilagen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, es ist zu empfehlen. Nur ganz WICHTIG Reservieren !

Wir hatten vor, das Schlemmerrestaurant zu besuchen und hatten hierfür bereits vor zwei Wochen telefonisch eine Reservierung vorgenommen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Reservierung erst nach Leistung einer Anzahlung verbindlich bestätigt wird. Da wir nicht aus der Stadt kommen, vereinbarten wir, den Betrag per Überweisung zu zahlen. Als ich etwa eine Woche später die Überweisung tätigen wollte, stellte ich fest, dass die mir telefonisch übermittelte Kontonummer fehlerhaft war. Daraufhin versuchte ich mehrfach, das Restaurant telefonisch zu erreichen, jedoch ohne Erfolg. In der vergangenen Woche schrieb ich zusätzlich eine Nachricht, in der ich die Situation schilderte und um die korrekte Kontoverbindung bat. Diese Nachricht wurde erst in dieser Woche beantwortet. Der Inhaber teilte mit, dass er sich gleich melden werde, was jedoch nicht geschah. Auch auf eine weitere Nachfrage erhielt ich keine Rückmeldung. Am Tag der ursprünglich geplanten Reservierung suchten wir das Restaurant schließlich persönlich auf. Vor Ort wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass keine Reservierung für uns vorliege und diese storniert worden sei. Nach unserer Auffassung liegt die Ursache hierfür nicht bei uns, da uns aufgrund der fehlerhaften Kontodaten keine Möglichkeit gegeben wurde, die geforderte Anzahlung zu leisten. Erschwerend kam hinzu, dass meine Oma körperlich beeinträchtigt und gehbehindert ist, wodurch die gesamte Situation für uns zusätzlich belastend war. Zudem war das Restaurant zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs nur teilweise ausgelastet, obwohl unsere Reservierung nicht berücksichtigt wurde. Insgesamt haben wir den Ablauf als sehr unkoordiniert und enttäuschend empfunden und haben daher von einem Besuch abgesehen. Bereits im Vorfeld hatten wir angeregt, die Kontoverbindung transparent auf der Webseite bereitzustellen oder ein digitales Buchungssystem einzuführen, bei dem beispielsweise eine Kreditkarte hinterlegt werden kann. Auch vor Ort haben wir diesen Punkt erneut angesprochen. Die Mitarbeiterin entschuldigte sich und bestätigte, dass die Abläufe im Restaurant derzeit leider unorganisiert sind. Die Mitarbeiterin bat uns an draußen Platz zu nehmen, aber bei den Temperaturen und mit der Situation meiner Oma wäre dies unmöglich gewesen. Wir hätten uns gerne etwas mehr Menschlichkeit und eine andere Lösung erhofft.

Hatten zwei Plätze zum Abendessen reserviert. Ohne Reservierung geht leider gar nichts, was wir am Vorabend feststellen mussten. Speisekarte sehr umfangreich. Beide bestellte Gerichte (Schweinlendchen + Schnitzel) waren ausgezeichnet und wurden üppig mit Beilagen serviert. Keine Bezahlung mit Kreditkarte möglich.

Teilweise etwas laut, was aber das leckere Essen und der tolle Service ganz locker weg macht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊

Essen und Ambiente geht so, Service freundlich aber vergesslich. Wir hatten Schnitzel und Filet vom Schwein, das Fleisch war top. Pommes auch. Bratkartoffeln wirkten wie TK Ware vom Großhandel, Gemüse war definitiv vorgefertigt aus der Tiefkühltruhe und die Soße schmeckte auch künstlich. Ambiente war okay. Relativ eng, Kabel gucken aus der Wand, wackelige Stühle.

Unglaublich leckere Gerichte und toller Service!

Sehr tolles Personal 👍 macht weiter so ihr seit top lange nicht so gut bedient worden und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut alles hat uns geschmeckt 👍 Sehr kinderfreundlich Das Restaurant ist sehr gut besucht am besten vorher anrufen ob noch Platz ist oder noch besser vorreservieren .

Für den Schnitzel Turm kann man auch mal 40 km fahren. Legger schmecker! Bedienung ist auch sehr zuvorkommend. Keine lange Wartezeit. Reservieren ist empfehlenswert! Gerne mal wieder.

Unser erster Besuch mit Freunden dort. Das Ambiente war ein bisschen wie in einem großen Wohnzimmer. Es war sehr laut und wir hatten einen kleinen Tisch ohne Tischdecke oder ähnliches. Die vegetarischen Knödel waren außen angetrocknet und keinesfalls frisch zubereitet. Der Service war nett aber ein wenig unprofessionell. Die zweite Johannisbeerschorle war ein rosa eingefärbtes Mineralwasser, eher ein aufgesprudelter Sirup?? Der junge Service wollte gerne früh Feierabend machen und hat früh die Tische abgeräumt ;-) Das gibt leider keine Wiederholung und wir können die guten Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen.

Wir folgen Schlemmer-Restaurant schon lange, jetzt endlich da gewesen. Wie waren zu 7. Alles kam gleichzeitig, egal ob Schnitzel, Rumpsteak oder Züricher Geschnetzeltes, alles war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt genau. Der Nachtisch einfach der Perfekte Abschluss. Cheesecake, warmer Schokokuchen und Nougateis, alles lecker ❤️ wir kommen wieder ❤️

Completely overrated! The schnitzel was below average, the sauce wasn't to my taste, and the fried potatoes weren't fried because they were deep-fried! That's a fact! There are much better options in the area.

Hello. Today, Santa Claus flew by in his sleigh. He stopped by and was treated to a drink and a delicious bratwurst from you. His helpers from the Altenstadt fire department also got some. We were so pleased that it was so well received and that we were welcomed so warmly. Thank you so much!

The hype is real! We finally ordered takeout today for the first time, and we haven't had such a delicious schnitzel in ages! The sauce and side dish were also very tasty, plus the service staff was super friendly. We'll definitely be back! :)

Positive: Excellent service, quick drink refills, the children received their food first and were warmly welcomed, the side salad was delicious and beautifully presented. The fries, chicken nuggets, and Spätzle were also perfect. Negative: The ambiance is rather unpleasant; you can see they're trying, but the concept isn't quite there yet. The restrooms were a disaster. Dirty, with cobwebs and spiders on the ceilings, all of our fried potatoes were dry, as was the chicken schnitzel, and some of the sauces were too thick and there wasn't enough of them. All in all, the food was acceptable, but not something we'd necessarily recommend. It's okay for a quick lunch. We went because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for us.

A truly outstanding restaurant! The food was simply delicious – especially the duck and the schnitzel, which were perfectly prepared, tender, and full of flavor. What I have to say... the food was incredibly delicious (the paprika cream schnitzel for lunch – I forgot to take a picture because it looked amazing and I was so hungry!). Very attentive service And excellent food!

My meal was okay, but nothing special. My wife sent back over half because she didn't like it at all. We kindly didn't have to pay for that dish. We were then asked not to come back. We weren't planning on coming back anyway. The service seemed lackluster. We had reserved inside and were then escorted to the heated conservatory. We found it noisy and rather uncomfortable there. Reaction to the response: Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We were told on the phone that if we arrived right away, it would still be possible to eat inside. When we arrived, a young waitress said they could accommodate two more people. She was then simply told to take us to the conservatory. I don't want to say anything more.

We went to DAS! Gourmet Restaurant today for burgers – and I have to say: absolutely thrilled! 🍔✨ The service was super warm and attentive, and all our special requests were accommodated without any problems. The service was excellent, the food arrived quickly, and everything was fresh and hot. The burgers were simply amazing – juicy, perfectly seasoned, and with really good sides. I've never had such an amazing burger before! And the fair prices make it even better. Reservations are required on special days, like Burger Day! A real insider tip in Altenstadt – we'll definitely be back! 👌

The food and service are always top-notch! Our company Christmas party last year was a complete success. It was so good that our employees wanted to celebrate there again 🙈. We also enjoy going to the gourmet restaurant privately or getting delicious schnitzels to take home. 😍 Oh, and of course, not to forget the most delicious cheesecake ever! 🍰 It's fantastic all around! We've seen lots of posts and videos on Instagram. We finally went to eat at your place. Schnitzel Tower No. 1 with mushroom cream sauce and croquettes, gourmet schnitzel with fries, a grilled platter, and three different dumplings with mushroom cream sauce. All four dishes were delicious. The meat from the grilled platter was tender as butter. The schnitzels were also tender as butter. The dumpling with beetroot was the best.

We wanted to eat there today at 5:30 p.m. and were told there was no table available even though there was nobody there. We would have sat down but the young man said there would be 4 tables. He gave the impression that it would be too much for him. We didn't know that a reservation was required. I work in the catering industry myself and have never experienced anything like this before.

Yesterday we went to the Schlemmer Restaurant and had burgers there – and what can I say: simply wow! As soon as you enter, you notice the cozy atmosphere, which immediately makes you feel inviting. The team was super friendly, attentive, and always there with a smile, without being intrusive. The burgers themselves are an absolute highlight: juicy meat, perfectly grilled, with fresh, homemade ingredients and truly delicious sauces that complete the whole experience. You can immediately taste the attention to detail. The side dish was also top-notch – crispy fries, and everything was served hot and fresh. We particularly liked that it wasn't just a "quick burger" but an all-around enjoyable experience. The quality, taste, and service are simply a perfect match. We highly recommend the Schlemmer Restaurant – whether for a relaxed evening with friends, a date, or simply when you're craving a really good burger.

We stopped by spontaneously and just wanted something to eat. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a seat, and the staff were inflexible about making a table available. So, spontaneous dining is completely out of the question. It's a shame.

We recently visited DAS! Gourmet Restaurant in Altenstadt for the first time because of the great Instagram pictures, and the 80 km drive was well worth it. Very friendly and pleasant service. The food was truly delicious. We had the Schnitzel Tower No. 2 with sour cream sauce and fries, and the Gypsy Schnitzel with Duchess potatoes. A side salad has to be ordered separately. I had forgotten, but it wasn't a big deal. That left room for the legendary cheesecake for dessert, which truly deserves its reputation. We even had to take two slices home because it was so delicious. I can also recommend the gourmet lemonade. It's very refreshing 😋 We'd love to come back. Maybe even in the fall during pumpkin season 👍

I really enjoy coming to "Das Schlemmer-Restaurant." TOP-notch food SUPER FRIENDLY service and always ACCEPTING Reservations requested – to me, that means it SPEAKS FOR the restaurant, no matter which one. It also means, to me, that the price/performance ratio is absolutely top-notch! So far, I've only tried the "Flying Buffet" once, and it's absolutely top-notch. As for the schnitzel tower and the cheesecake, I can only say you shouldn't miss them. I'll definitely be back🤩

As a family celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, we had a wonderful evening. The food was fantastic. The small child at the table was handled commendably. Praise also goes to the kitchen here; the schnitzel was freshly pounded and there were no mushrooms from a can. The chef even came personally to ensure that everyone was okay. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired... We sat at the table from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In the entire time, we were only asked twice whether we wanted anything else or if everything was OK... Even after the first people at the table had paid and we mentioned that we would like another drink, no one came to take our order! When we asked, it took another 15 minutes before we were served. Waiters initially ignored our messages or fobbed us off with "it'll take a moment". Instead of clearing away glasses that had been at the table since the beginning, they served empty tables... At the end, the remaining guests were asked what the guests had already paid two hours earlier... We didn't even get a proper bill. Absurd! Whether we'll be back is still up in the air. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed.

We were turned away with the explanation that today was a flying buffet, and reservations were required. This wasn't clear online, and there was nothing posted on the display outside the store either. We drove the entire way for nothing. How were we supposed to know that you could only eat there with a reservation today? And we weren't even asked if we wanted to take anything with us.

We visited the Schlemmer Restaurant for the first time yesterday based on a recommendation and were very pleasantly surprised. The price/performance ratio was good, and the ambiance was very nice. The service was excellent. There were five of us, and almost everyone had a starter and a main course. We ordered a variety of dishes to try out a few things from the menu. Everyone was absolutely thrilled. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend the restaurant. It's a good idea to reserve a table.

As always, a culinary delight! You can only find a schnitzel like this here. The staff and atmosphere are also fantastic. The cheesecake is a solid 12 out of 10.

An inconspicuous insider tip! We discovered this restaurant and its countless accolades through social media. Although we're locals, the place remains largely unknown, which turns out to be a mistake. We were greeted very politely, shown directly to our seats, and warmly looked after the entire time – first-class service. The decor and ambiance were very cozy and well-kept. Our food was easy to order, and our requests were taken into account. Our ordered schnitzel towers with chanterelle cream sauce/onion paprika sauce and fried potatoes/fries were on point, perfectly cooked, and seasoned. We haven't had such a good meal in a long time. We were completely surprised and impressed. Highly recommended. Thanks to the fantastic staff and the owner/chef for the wonderful afternoon; we'll definitely be back.

A real insider tip, especially when it comes to schnitzel. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We went once to try it out, and what can I say? We've been returning ever since. Super delicious food, incredibly friendly staff, both in the kitchen and behind the counter. If you're craving German cuisine, this is the place for you. The portions are generously sized and truly delicious. You can tell a lot of love goes into the cooking and preparation. If you're still not full, I highly recommend the New York Cheesecake! I discovered this gourmet restaurant on Instagram and was keen to try the schnitzel tower they advertised. I went today and was not disappointed! Delicious!! 10 out of 10! I highly recommend this restaurant. Besides the friendly and welcoming service, the chef is just as welcoming!! We drove 98 km to try this gourmet restaurant and were not disappointed! We'll be back. Go there and indulge yourself in a delicious meal in stylish surroundings!! Oh, and I almost forgot: even though they don't offer a schnitzel tower for lunch, I did get one! If it wasn't so far away, we would go and eat there more often!

Thanks to Instagram, we discovered this gourmet restaurant and were there for the first time. What can I say? Outstanding schnitzel tower, absolutely fantastic, courteous, and attentive service. The highlight of the evening: our pre-ordered cheesecake... Even in New York, we haven't had/had a better one! Yes, we're crazy and will drive 40 km just to pick up Yannick's cheesecake. 🫠 Keep up the good work, we'll be coming more often from now on and are already looking forward to our first flying buffet in August 😍 THANK YOU!

We were there for the first time yesterday, and we'll definitely go back. A restaurant where the customer is still king. All our special requests were fulfilled. Thanks again to the entire team! We were there today with 13 people, and everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly, constantly asking if there was anything missing and getting what wasn't there. Every single one of us praised the food and confirmed that it wouldn't be our last time there.

Great food at reasonable prices. But first things first... I was treated very nicely when I made the reservation over the phone, even though it sounded like the restaurant was full. We were in the restaurant with friends, and I have to say the ambiance is very appealing and modern. The reception was very friendly, and we were even allowed to choose our own table. We received the menu fairly quickly and were able to order drinks right away. When we looked at the menu, we immediately noticed the relatively reasonable prices (we would normally have expected small portions here). We ordered 3 Schnitzel Towers, 2 No. 1 and 1 No. 2, 1 Jägerschnitzel (the only disappointment was that there was no Jägerschnitzel in it, just mushrooms), and 1 Grilled Plate... And the portions were huge. The sauces were sufficient for us. (Of course, it could always be more... but you can't eat more than that anyway.) Each schnitzel tower came with a side dish (fries, fried potatoes, or croquettes) and a sauce of your choice. A side salad costs extra (if you need it, it's only €3). The grilled platter includes fries and bacon-wrapped beans, as well as two dips. The schnitzels were super delicious, freshly made, and not your run-of-the-mill ready-made schnitzel. The fried potatoes were crispy and not drowned in oil. The meat in the grilled platter was cooked to perfection. (The sausages could have been a bit darker, but they were still very tasty.) We will definitely be back. It will probably be one of our regulars. From us: Keep up the good work!!!
