Ich bestellte ein Brathähnchen, das zweimal frittiert wurde, so sehr, dass ich die Hälfte der Brust wegwerfen musste, weil ich so sauer war. Na ja, Gott möge dir das nicht verzeihen.

Es ist köstlich! Man kann draußen sitzen. Die Portionen sind riesig, also bestellt lieber nicht zu viel! Wir hätten es unmöglich alles geschafft! 🤣

Wir waren heute zum dritten Mal hier - jedes Mal wieder ein Gaumenschmaus. Sehr leckeres Essen und super reichlich zum angemessenen Preis. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

Sehr lecker, witzige Bedienung, kurze Wartezeit und echt leckere Soße einfach.

Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich schlecht. Ich habe Shawarma gehabt,leider hat es furchtbar geschmeckt, das Frittieröl und das Hähnchen waren schrecklich.

Die besten Shawarmas der Stadt, frisches Fleisch (keine Pampe wie man sie üblicherweise in vielen Dönerläden bekommt), gute Würzung und angemessen Größe, der Preis ist leider ein wenig zu teuer (7,50€ pro Shawarma). Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr gastfreundlich und sehr motiviert zu arbeiten, untereinander behandeln sie sich wie eine Familie. Das essen wird zudem ziemlich schnell zubereitet auch wenn es viele Kunden gibt. Der Laden ist ein wenig klein, man hat dennoch auch draußen Platz und wenn selbst dieser nicht genügen sollte, kann man sich das Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen und sich in der Nähe der Frauenkirche setzen. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung, Kundenservice war sehr zufriedenstellend und die Lage ist gut positioniert.

Das Essen war leider nicht frisch und hat überhaupt nicht gut geschmeckt. Danach hatte ich sogar Bauchschmerzen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker es gibt verschiedene Gerichte und der Ort ist auch ein schöner Ort direkt an der Prager Straße ich habe heute shawarma und sucuk tacos bestellt der taco war ein bisschen kleiner als die anderen aber es ist perfekt und schmeckt fabelhaft ich empfehle es jeden der oft in der unterwegs ist.

Das Essen hier im Stadtzentrum war recht günstig und hat auch gut geschmeckt. Allerdings fand ich das Shawarma etwas zu salzig und trocken.

Alles, was wir bestellt haben, war köstlich. Der Hartweizen war unglaublich. Der Service des Personals war ausgezeichnet.

Dieser Ort ist Ihrer Aufmerksamkeit nicht würdig. Wir haben lange auf unsere Bestellung gewartet, das Fleisch in unserer Bestellung wurde verwechselt und wir mussten auf eine neue warten. Es gibt keine Toilette und keinen Ort, an dem man sich die Hände waschen kann. Das Essen schmeckt nicht, das Fleisch ist schlecht gewürzt. Es ist besser, 200 m weiter unten im „Istanbul“ zu essen. Die Verkäufer sprechen kaum Deutsch. Auf die Frage, ob man Ananas zum Gericht hinzufügen könne, baten sie mich, ein Bild von einer Ananas zu zeigen, weil sie nicht wussten, was das ist. Der Ort hat einen schlechten Eindruck hinterlassen.

The food is so delicious, with good meat in the shawarma and the best garlic sauce. The service is friendly too; when our toddler started fussing while waiting, we were given some fries to nibble on.

We visited the Damascus Restaurant in Dresden and were completely impressed. From the moment you enter, you immediately feel welcome – the ambiance is cozy and inviting, and you can immediately tell that great importance is placed on hospitality here. We were particularly impressed by the food. We had the chicken wings with fries, and the portion was truly enormous (see picture). The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The fries were also fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection – a portion easily enough for two. We also ordered shawarma, and that was a real highlight. The meat was tender, perfectly seasoned, and, along with the fresh side dishes, an absolute delight. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail are used here. The price-performance ratio is also more than fair, especially considering the large portions. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and always there with a smile, without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience—we were not only full, but also very comfortable. Anyone in Dresden craving authentic, delicious, and hearty food should definitely stop by the Damascus Restaurant. We definitely recommend it, and it certainly won't be our last visit! 🌟🍴

A very bad takeaway experience! The shawarma was old and tasted like it had been reheated. The tacos barely came with any fries, no salad, no sauce, or pickled vegetables—just dry and carelessly served. On top of that, everything tasted terrible: the tacos smelled spoiled, and the crispy topping was raw and inedible. No one could eat the food, so we had to throw it all away. Absolutely disappointing for the price and not recommended!

Tasty inexpensive food, very large portions. Products are fresh and high-quality. Always a lot of people. Terrace outside. Friendly and welcoming staff. 1 portion of kebab on a plate is enough for two. A portion costs about 13 euros

For €6, you get a fairly large falafel sandwich with fresh mint, fresh vegetables, and delicious, not dry falafel. Very friendly vendors who speak fluent German, English, and even more!

Great place, the workers are friendly and hospitable, and their food is generous. We ate a sandwich and he served us an appetizer. The shawarma sandwich was full of meat and filling. The prices are a little high, but that's okay. As for the drinks, they are very high and exaggerated.

My go-to place for food! Chicken Taco tops my preferences, with Shawarma sandwich and Brosted on the second and third places.

The flavors are good, the prices are reasonable, but the hygiene is failing in every way. The staff cut the meat with gloves, make the wraps with gloves, but they also use the same gloves when sweeping, taking the dishes, and taking payment. If you don't expect hygiene, I recommend it. The flavor is good, and the portions are huge.

This was the worst shawarma I've ever eaten in my life—and I've tried it in 35 countries, including neighboring Syria. Fat inside, fat outside, the entire flatbread was completely soaked in fat.

A fast, delicious, good-sized fast food restaurant on one of Dresden's main streets.

The meat was hard as rubber and not warm. The portioning wasn't good; there was only lettuce on top. It was also very dry overall. The price/performance ratio is poor. Not recommended.

Lamb doner was very tasty and reasonably priced.

I had a chicken shawarma plate today around 6 p.m. The portion was quite large, but unfortunately the meat was very dry and sometimes hard, as it hadn't been freshly cut from the skewer, but had been sitting in the bottom of the bowl for a while. It wasn't tasty. The salad and the sauces were okay. I won't be eating again...I was the only customer at that time, too.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From start to finish, nothing went well. The service was slow and unprofessional, the food was bland and poorly prepared, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable. It felt like no one cared about the customer experience. Definitely not worth the time or money—I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, the Shawarma Arabica didn't look like it did in the other pictures here. Dry roll of dough with meat, nothing else. No sauce, no salad, no cucumbers, but now a sinking feeling in my stomach

Nice place for a quick and inexpensive meal. We just took the Syrian plate, which is a bit of everything without meat, and there was a lot of it. It was enough for 2 people. The service is also cool.

On 29-12-2024 Time: 6:50 p.m I ordered a kebab plate and tacos from this restaurant. Unfortunately the meat wasn't cooked properly and we didn't like it at all. There was also no service at all and I had to pick up my food myself. When I accidentally dropped a portion of fries, I spoke to the employee. He asked for €2.50 for a new portion, which I accepted. However, the new portion of fries was cold and inedible. Since I was traveling with my wife, I refrained from saying anything, but overall I was very disappointed with the quality and customer service.

Had Dürum with lamb. This was the most gristly meat I had eaten in a long time. The taste was actually very good, although I wouldn't buy it again, thanks to the cartilage. Even though there wasn't much going on, I wasn't asked what I might like to have in the Dürüm, but I was given everything. Chicken meat looked extremely dry on the skewer. Don't think you would be able to eat it without the sauces.

This can't even be rated on a 5-star scale, this kebab is not edible, the meat is hard and not baked, the worst kebab I have ever eaten, I do not recommend it with all my heart.
