Daisy's Diner in Oyten

Simply unique!! Real American-style diner with super-cool decoration, wonderful menu and extremely nice service. Car parks in front of the window if you're lucky. If you can, definitely make a reservation, but the friendly staff can usually find a short-term solution. The bar is also a great spot for a quick meeting - and it's so close to the motorway (which you can't hear ANYTHING from). Cesar Salad and Burger - Must Eat!

The restaurant looks inviting inside and out. The food is good, but served a bit carelessly on the plate. That evening the restaurant was very full and the service staff tried very hard, but there were still small errors with the orders. The bill when paying had to be corrected twice. I hope the service will be more attentive next time. We will give the Daisys a second chance, but if the result is exactly as described above, the Daisys can unfortunately only be recommended to a limited extent.

I visited Daisy's Diner and am absolutely satisfied! The service was not only quick, but also extremely good - the employees are friendly, attentive and make you feel immediately welcome. The food is fantastic: you can taste the fresh ingredients and the dishes are prepared with love. The location itself is also a real eye-catcher - cozy and stylishly furnished, perfect for relaxing and enjoying. The prices are also fair, especially considering the quality of the food and the great service. Daisy's Diner is definitely worth a visit and I'll be happy to come back!

We've been coming here for years when passing through, but now it's over. The service is very friendly and accommodating but the food is not nearly worth the money. Unfortunately, things got worse as time went on. During our last visit we could see something similar at the tables next to us. People just didn't finish and left more than half on their plates. It's a shame because it used to be nice and tasty here.

I've been there again for a long time and I'm totally disappointed. The chicken cheese burger had such a tiny piece of chicken on the bread, so I almost only had the taste of a bun. Actually there should have been two pieces of chicken on it. Plus it was kind of dry. Don't understand the high number of customers.

Raw chicken in my salad Our visit to this restaurant was, unfortunately, a big disappointment. The service left much to be desired – our waiter seemed, to say the least, hardly interested in us or our needs. An even bigger issue was the food: I found a piece of raw chicken in my salad! When we brought it up, we received only a brief apology, and to our surprise, they insisted we still pay for the salad. Only after a persistent discussion did we manage to have the cost removed from the bill. All in all, we cannot recommend this restaurant. A good meal should be accompanied by attentive service and quality in the kitchen – both of which were clearly lacking here.

Simply delicious and highly recommended.

We were there on Halloween and everything was beautifully decorated and some were wearing costumes. Service was very nice and attentive and small special requests were also fulfilled. All in all, a lovely evening.

Every time I drive north on the A1, I make sure to stop at Daisy’s Diner for the love of opulent American food and atmosphere. The last time I overdid it though. I ordered the famous BLT sandwich which is absolutely incredible, served with great fries and an interesting cole slaw salad. So far so good. I was full and happy. Somehow my inner voice longed for a milk shake for dessert though and I ordered a “Michael Shakeson”, on of the special shakes you can order there. Little did I know that this shake itself can be considered a full meal. It was also one of the best shakes I’ve ever tasted, so I drank the whole of it and made satisfied noises while doing so. When I got up and rolled myself back into the car, I knew I made a horrible mistake. The rest of the trip I felt so stuffed and drifted off into a food-comatose haze. That is when I finally knew what being an American must feel like. Absolutely recommend.

I drove an hour just to get the burger sauce to take home. When I got home, I noticed that one of the four sauces was already opened and half empty.

It's nice that there is still a restaurant like this in the 50s style. The food is unique, the service is very friendly and the prices are absolutely ok 👌. 70 km journey, which is always worth it!

Nach Jahre mal wieder zu Test nach Oyten gefahren. Also es ist immer noch der gleiche Style und auch die Freundlichkeit der angestellten war angenehm. Die Plätze im Round waren gut und gaben den Blick auf die typische Deko frei. Nun zum Essen und den Getränken. Der Tee und die Menge an Eis waren absolut ok. Cola Zero ohne Kohlensäure zu servieren...Nun ja lecker ist anders. das Essen war leider nicht so toll. der Burger meiner Frau war geschmachlich eher lau. Ich hatte einen Chicken Jumbo bestellt. Für ordentlich aufpreis gab es zwei kleine zähe Hähnchenstücke und die waren mal so numm gewürzt einfach totgebraten und dann auf Salat ab ins Brötchen. Sowas von langweilig..... also das Ei am Nachbartisch sah besser aus als mein Burger. Über die "fette und teure" Vorspeise für zwei Personen müßte ich normal auch sprechen. Einfach eine kleine Schüssel mit einigen fritierten Sachen gefüllt und dann lieblos ohne Zusatzteller auf den Tisch geknallt. Echt traurig, dass nichts frisch gemacht war. Nur aus der Tüte ins die Fritte...fertig. Alles in allem wird hier mehr erwärmt als gekocht. Einen Kurs beim Burgerspezialisten täte den Kollegen am Herd sicher mal gut. Ein wiederkommen...eher ausgeschlossen.

We happened to be there 2 days ago. The restaurant was right next to the selected charging station. Went there around 7:45 p.m. and initially thought it was a snack and went straight to the toilet. Afterwards we sat down at a free table. Actually we should have waited at the entrance, but we overlooked that. The waiter, who had a very good sense of humor, still gave us cards and first made fun of the “robo-cat”. That was very funny for us. The burgers were the best we've had in a long time! And what's more, we haven't eaten so cheaply in a while. Absolutely great! We will definitely visit the store again if we need to shop nearby again. Unfortunately, he is too far away to visit more often.

It's just a diner that's close to the highway. The food was okay. The burger patties were from the freezer. This is what they looked like and tasted like. The service was relatively nice.

Sometimes the diner is a bit hectic, and then everything isn't spotlessly clean. But always quick and friendly service. Food also comes quite quickly. Price-performance fits.

The food is of course very American. So, big burgers, lots of meat. Very tasty, very high in calories. I think it's very good that there is also a good selection of vegetarian burgers, and the bowls are also very tasty (but unfortunately cold). I think it would be very good if you could check the calorie count of the dishes, it would help with conscious eating. But either way, the restaurant is worth a visit! Addendum: Guys, you have to make a reservation. It was incredibly busy today, there was a queue all the way to the car park, some had to wait half an hour for a free table.

American style burger joint. My son was there for the first time. He thought it was great. The hamburgers are good. The salad wasn't quite the same. Come again.

Very cool, I thought the burger was delicious. Very satisfied with the service. The diner was very busy, which meant that there was a certain amount of background noise. Personally, it's a bit too much for me and the music is a bit too quiet... but when I'm around again, there's a risk of repeating it ;-)

Just a cool store, concept is based on the American diner of yesteryear. great service, always friendly and quick. The food is always great. Haven't had a problem with it yet. We like to drive the 50km route to treat ourselves to really good ribs. Keep it up, we'd love to come back.

Daisys has always had a good reputation. The food is delicious, the service is great. You should make reservations based on the day and time of day. The ambience was much nicer before the major renovation a few years ago, but you still have the feeling of eating in an American diner.

My wife and I can only recommend Daisy's Diner. Price performance ratio is great. We've been there many times and we've always really enjoyed it. 👍

It's a shame, unfortunately I have to change my rating......had something to eat in the cowshed.....on the left right there are people who don't sit 30cm away. Had the Angusburger. It's a shame it was so fried, I thought at first I had gotten the coal out of the grill. I like the burger more at MC Donalds than at Daisys. My friend ordered her rhubarb stuff large and of course she got it small.....could be because the server didn't speak German. Not bad, we all learn that's why 3 stars for the service. They used to be better. The prices are absolutely exorbitant for what you get... We'll try it one more time but I don't think it'll get any better

I immediately fell in love with the store! The ambience is decorated down to the last detail, really great! We were guests 2 days in a row and were not disappointed twice with the food! The service is actually quite good, unfortunately one lady didn't get it right on the second day :-) but it wasn't that bad. We ate everything from burgers to salad to rump steak, rump steak and various desserts... everything tasted really good and was cooked to perfection. I can definitely recommend it!

The last time we were at Daisy’s Diner was ten years ago. At that time, one of the things we ordered with our children was pizza. The pizza dough was crumbly and dry on the inside, so I took the good piece into the kitchen to ask if they were really serious. Since this experience in 2014, we have always avoided the store. But everyone deserves a second chance. When we arrived at the restaurant in the summer of 2024, we wanted to sit outside on the terrace as a couple. “No tables for four with two people!” was what the waiter outside said to us when we wanted to sit down at one. Guests who came after us received a similar welcome. No “welcome”, no “nice that you’re here”. Later on, the waiter was still quite nice. We order a baked potato in a cream sauce with chicken pieces and a portion of fries gratinated with avocado cream and tomato pieces. What can I say, friends? We've never been served such snot anywhere before. The cream sauce in the baked potato was water, the chicken pieces and vegetables were unseasoned and tasteless. The baked fries were even worse. Even our dog wouldn't get such a loveless mud. Many people here rave about the burgers and steaks. We've lost our desire to try something like that here. Maybe you should reduce the menu a bit and focus on things that you are actually good at.

Burger was not good, too salty, meat quality from the supermarket. Service was catastrophic, I waited for half an hour and in the end there was no food from the current offer.

Cool American diner. Great variety of food, drinks and dessert. Attentive staff, plenty of parking and no loud background music Only the burgers were a bit bulky for the price. The cold salmon wrap was delicious and fresh. The fries were crispy and the sauces could be individually portioned.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say. I was glad that I booked a table, it was really well attended. I don't know if it's always so crowded or if it was because we came on a public holiday (October 3rd - Thursday) it was my first time there. The waitresses were all super friendly and in a good mood, even though they had so much to do. The food was super delicious and came to the table really hot. The diner has a great atmosphere. We really had a great time. :)

This was the last time we were there. The place used to be much better... Burgers and chili cheese fries are awesome, but even the shakes are now just a joke for almost 8 (!!) euros. 5 Smarties and 8 sprinkles on it, yeah wow thanks. Each sprinkle 50 cents or what? The Margherita pizza tastes worse than a frozen pizza. Pasta with scampi for 16 euros tasted like chlorine. The toilet is really annoying and I was even turned away despite a reservation because the table was simply reassigned due to the rush. Guys then doesn't offer reservations... Today we were ignored by 50% of the staff and 2 colleagues were arguing at the door for everyone to hear, which is really unprofessional. Please travel back in time and be like you were in 2018/2019 again. You have a reputation to lose and are currently in the process of unlocking this achievement. I've always really enjoyed coming here, but it's not worth it to me anymore.

Ordering a farmer's breakfast, even though the shop wasn't full, took over half an hour and two inquiries before I finally received it. Coffee refill ordered, but the service is not like in the USA, where the service person comes around and asks, but you have to ask yourself. I was also allowed to ask for cutlery. All very unfortunate.

Food and service great as always :-) This time we had bacon cheeseburger and a club sandwich. Both are served with fries and coleslaw. Fries are crispy but not hard, as they should be. I requested additional cheese for the sandwich, and this request was accommodated at no extra charge.

Always very crowded on Sundays, so you have to expect a wait. But it's worth it :-)

Seen by chance from the highway exit. Went there the next day. Was full. Order was very quick. After ordering, we waited a maximum of 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Great quality, super nice service. Dessert also came after a maximum of 10 minutes of waiting. Absolutely recommended locally. We're going on vacation here for another two weeks and will 1000% serve at least twice more. And one more tip for all the cheapskates: give a little tip. Well, what should I write..... The “American Diner” actually stands for the American way of life. Translated, the diner stands for “simple” food at moderate prices. I wouldn't call the prices moderate, simple food is very accurate. But slowly. Return trip with the family from Bremen, requested by phone for 8:30 p.m. Answer, no problem...we can handle it. Arrived.....different truth. Almost 20 minutes of waiting time because it was packed. Why? Then at least say 'Sorry', we're fully booked. Or no table before 10 p.m. But sales shouldn't stop there. After 20 minutes, then to the table. Well, more like the column. A bit impractical, as it's just a semi-circular table facing the column. Better than nothing... but with the best view of the kitchen. First of all: There's nothing exciting to see, more on that later. I decided on a “Deluxe Burger”. Dry aged beef from Red Heifer Rind, with onion relish, BBQ flakes, lettuce, tomato and cucumber on a potato route. Cost: €19.80. So far so good. Ordered a total of 3 burgers at the table. Drinks came quickly, the large Alster for €4.80 is ok. Unfortunately, the experience here too: not filling the glass to the calibration mark now seems to be a sport. After a surprisingly short time the burgers arrive. Unfortunately the western burger fell over while being served. But it won't be commented on. The "Deluxe" burger with dry aged beef is one thing above all: DRY and the plate is very clear overall. Cole Slaw is no longer included in Deluxe either. Burger sauce etc. ..... none. The same goes for BBQ flakes and cucumber. Instead, the typical industrial wheat bun is adorned with a little lettuce on the bottom and a mini blob of onion relish. It's not really clear what the wooden stick is for. When asked about the BBQ flakes, people were amazed. Did the colleague say nothing? They weren't available.....but then the offer to get something else. I decided on caramelized onions. Unfortunately, the dryaged patty was completely done, so unfortunately it died for the second time. And it keeps you really dry. The burger for a diner: 1 point. A look into the kitchen reveals the truth. A lot of staff, but no real motivation. It's just being "processed". Overall, unfortunately really disappointing, level below McDonalds, unfortunately for significantly more money. Unfortunately, there was exactly nothing that would have made the burger tasty in any way. The bottles at the table (ketchup, mayo and Daisy's burger sauce) were just as sticky as the table. That's why I stopped using it. The pictures show the rest. One thing must be emphasized: the staff was always friendly. Unfortunately a bit inattentive at the table.

The diner has its own flair. The food is incredibly delicious! Especially the burgers and shakes, also the fries and appetizers. We can also recommend the burritos and the salmon and rocket wrap. Of the shakes, we liked the Lotus Shake the best so far.

Unfortunately, Daisy’s Diner has deteriorated greatly. The cheeseburger was disappointing: the meat was undercooked and had no flavor. I have never seen or tasted such poor quality in any burger shop. In comparison, you get significantly more for your money at Burger King or McDonald's, both in terms of taste and quality. It's a shame that Daisy's Diner isn't what it once was.

The quality used to be better, but it's no longer worth the price for a little something in between.

I always enjoy going to Daisy's Diner! The atmosphere there is simply wonderful and you immediately feel at home. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and sympathy of the entire team. The service is always attentive and warm, which makes the stay all the more pleasant. 🍀 The food is really tasty, but I particularly liked the desserts. The desserts are simply to die for! Whether cakes, pancakes or other delicacies – everything tastes excellent. 👍🏼 The hearty dishes are also highly recommended. I highly recommend Daisy's Diner and look forward to my next visit! 🤍

a bit of Americana Roadhouse next to Highway, if you are passing through and you don't stop you'll have missed something

Yesterday I ate at Daisy's for the first time, our service was friendly. The restaurant was clean for the high number of visitors. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great, the pulled pork burger was cold, the fries were barely seasoned, cold and soggy, the nuggets only tasted like fat. The bacon cheese burger, on the other hand, was OK, as was the milkshake. But we won't come back again.

Wir haben mit das Sonntags Frühstücksbuffett ausprobiert. Um es kurz zu fassen, es ist nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Preislich wie geschmacklich! Das Büffet war vieles leer und man musste das Personal drauf hinweisen, das es nachgelegt wird. Die Auswahl war nicht groß. Die Pancakes war vorfertigte Rohlinge, die Eier waren totgekocht und und und. Einfacher Filterkaffee und Tee kam es umsonst dazu. Kein Saft oder Wasser. Laut Internet kostet das Büffet pro Person 15,90€ wir sollten für 2 Personen plus ein Wasser 40,20€ bezahlen. Finde den Fehler. Beim Bäcker kann man besser frühstücken!
