It was a fun hike to Lauffen. Wanted to have a good meal in the evening. I'll keep it short. Yummy. There were five of us and everything was tasty. I particularly like the Cordon Bleu.

Very good Swabian food. Friendly service. Get a place at short notice. We always like to come even though it takes 50 minutes to drive. But it's worth it to us.

Here you get something for your money. Very tasty Swabian cuisine with more than generous portions and attentive service.

The onion roast with spaetzle was the best I have ever eaten. Really recommended. The staff was very friendly. Everything was super good.

I was at the Dächle restaurant on a Tuesday and tried the schnitzel offer for €9.90. It was really delicious - the meat was tender, crispy breaded and the portion was more than enough. Great value for money! The side dishes were also fresh and well seasoned. However, it was quite full, which was probably due to the great offer. It is definitely advisable to reserve a table in advance, especially during the week. Despite the crowds, the service was friendly and attentive, but you can tell it's busy. Overall, a recommended restaurant, especially for schnitzel lovers!

Stopped by spontaneously. Got a nice place. Great menu, including vegetarian main dishes. Nice side salad, potato salad hidden among the lettuces. 😋 There was a cheap daily meal for under €10 on Friday evening. Friendly service. Card payment possible. Lots of bicycle parking spaces. 👍

Dear team, yesterday we had 2×toast......that had meat. Didn't taste like anything, even if you had to chew for a long time. What's going on, does the chef have no pride in making his food well...after all, it's a craft that can only convince with quality!! Unfortunately, I experience this more and more in the catering industry. It's still 5 stars, I don't want to make the company miserable with a review. Sleep on it, I'll test it again in 2 years.

Really highly recommended inn. I was alone and the beer garden was well filled at 7:00 p.m. Nevertheless, I was given a seat. For food I ordered the Flädlesuppe and the Dachlet plate. Both very large portions and super tasty. The waitresses were on their toes and always had a smile on their faces. If I'm in the area again, I'd love to come back.

They recently banned our local association from meeting here, which wasn't a problem for years!!

Beautiful traditional Swabian beer garden with consistently warm food and good house wine. The cuisine is authentically local with schnitzels, Maultaschen, potato salad etc. You shouldn't expect more upscale Swabian cuisine, but the food is good and quite cheap with interesting daily promos.

Hearty Swabian cuisine, very decent portions, hearty furnishings and solid service. The Riesenmaultaschen was not only huge but also incredibly tasty. The Swabian-Swiss sausage salad with fried potatoes is exactly how it should be. Tables on the terrace are a bit cramped, but that's probably due to popularity... and it's better to have a small space than none ;) It was a pleasure and we'll definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

I had a roast beef with spaetzle on offer day on Wednesday. The roast was fried medium to perfection and was super tasty - the best roast I've eaten in a long time. The sauce was also great and the spaetzle was very tasty. The portion was also very generous and the meat was a real chunk. We were served quickly, but we had to wait a while for our food - but it was still OK. I can highly recommend the restaurant - it was really great!

Addendum August 14, 2024: After a long time, we gave the Dächle another chance yesterday. As a small family with a limited budget, we thought you couldn't go wrong on Schnitzel Day. Wrong thought. The food was apparently okay and we ate it, but today it all took its toll with cramps and diarrhea for me, my husband and my toddler. The only thing we all ate together yesterday was the Dächle dinner and today we're all miserable... :( I hate to write this but it's obvious why it was. That's not how we imagined the last days of our vacation . :(

MAGS IN THE FOOD!!! We had ordered schnitzel and spaetzle for a larger group of people until we noticed that there were maggots on one plate, they were dead but still just disgusting!!! Never again

Great cuisine and great ambience

Very friendly hosts, always friendly and helpful staff. Food is good, special requests are fulfilled, portions are more than sufficient, prices are very moderate. Large beer garden, cozy guest room with an adjoining room. I can only recommend the inn. Accommodation options directly opposite. Parking options around the entire Dächle.

I had been there several times before in a larger group and was quite satisfied. But today I'm going solo, and unfortunately the experience is the opposite. There were several tables available outside and not marked as reserved, so I took a seat. But after the service staff had checked that no one was coming, all of the free tables were suddenly supposedly reserved - obviously the expected turnover from a single guest was too meager for her to allow the one free table to be occupied. OK, then not.... and definitely not in the future either..... It's a shame that the minimum rating here is 1 star - zero point zero would be appropriate.

Been eating here for years. The food always tastes great and the prices are reasonable too. What bothers me are the blunt knives. If you wish you can also get a spicy one. Update July 28, 2024: Went there again today. Still the blunt knives. Attached is a picture. We also had to wait 50 minutes for our drinks today. The food was almost eaten when our drinks arrived. When asked: we can't keep up with the glasses. Maybe you need more glasses in addition to the knives. The waitresses were all very stressed, even though not everything was busy. I'll think about eating here again. It's a shame actually...this used to be a great inn.

On a 4-day bike tour the most bike-friendly, nicest restaurant with delicious food and very friendly service. You can take a look at the “famous” Jagst-Kocher cycle path!

12/03/2021 Nice, rustic restaurant with Swabian cuisine. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. The food tasted very good and the portions were large, at a reasonable price. Despite the fact that it was very busy, the drinks and food came quickly. The staff was very accommodating and always friendly. It was a great, cozy evening in the “Dächle”. We'll definitely be back soon. March 8, 2023 The prices are more than fair and the food, as always, is delicious. We felt very comfortable again. Any time. Good rustic German cuisine from roast beef with fried potatoes to Riesenmaultaschen with potato salad to the Dächles plate with a mix of everything. Very large portions that really fill you up and all at unbeatable prices. Reservations are strongly recommended because the space is rare and very popular, even among the locals. It's always worth taking a look at the daily menu, as you'll find super-tasty food at an unbeatable price. The service is also very friendly and the kitchen is quick. You can also take the food with you. We always enjoy coming back. EC PAYMENT possible

The Dächle Platter is a nice big portion and great for trying a bit of everything. In the beer garden you can sit comfortably sheltered in the green.

Super good Swabian restaurant - extremely popular with cyclists - located in the middle of beautiful Lauffen am Neckar. The menu includes everything that makes the Swabian heart beat faster ;-) from Maultaschen to schnitzel to onion roast in all variations. The service is super friendly and on point! The glasses don't stay empty for long and people often ask if everything fits! If you go here hungry, you've definitely done something wrong! Conclusion: Tasty!

Good big portion. Schnitzel with spaetzle €17.90 is enough! Half a spelled larder €4.40 Apple sorrel €3.90 Cola €4.40 large 0.5 is outrageous.

Unfortunately, I expected more based on the good rating. The food was ok but for the price you should expect more and better. Service mediocre, you feel a bit like you're at Aldi or Lidl at the checkout just when you're eating... I had just eaten the last forkful and the plate opposite was still eating! The drinks are served over the food… a clear no go!! The friendly none is ok…. You feel very rushed! It's a shame to make such a decision in this review!

So I have to get something off my chest now, you guys don't think you need to tell the customers what they should eat. If I go to the Ratsstüble in Besigheim and order a children's plate, I'll get that too! THE BEST THING ABOUT IT I WAS OFFERED THE SENIOR PLATE AND THAT WAS NO MORE THAN A CHILDREN'S PLATE.

Das Essen war gut, nur die Fleischportionen sind von der Größe her sehr unterschiedlich. Meine Frau und ich haben beide Rostbraten gegessen. Während bei den Nebentischen die Portionen Fleisch ordentlich waren, dachten wir das wir eine Rentnerportion erhalten haben. Das geht gar nicht, da bei den anderen Tischen der Preis derselbe war.

As a long-time Dächle fan, I am disappointed with the beer/shandy price of €4.80 for the meal. With all due respect - that is outrageous. That's it for Dächle for me. 👎🏻 👉🏻 Addendum: today 2 schnitzels with 1 side dish each for 2 x 9.90 € = 19.80 € + 1 shandy + 1 beer (0.5 l each) = total: 29.40 €. Sorry, no more with me❗👎🏻

We were at Dächle at the weekend and had a wonderful time. The ambience is very inviting and rustic, exactly what you would hope for from a Swabian inn. The menu offers a great selection of regional dishes. I had the schnitzel and it was fantastic – crispy, juicy and seasoned just right. My girlfriend was thrilled with the cheese spaetzle. The evening was rounded off by the friendly and courteous service. Highly Recommended!

We were here on Ascension Day with 9 people. We had reserved. It was great weather, many came spontaneously without reservations and tried to get a place. The service was overwhelmed at short notice. Unfortunately, some people don't understand this. We were immediately told that it would take longer today. But all in all, it went faster than expected. The food was good as always, the service tried to cope with the situation as best as possible. When you notice how others get up after 5 minutes and leave in a huff or try to squeeze into a table somewhere - it's such a shame. On a holiday you should be more relaxed. Big praise to the team for keeping their nerve!

We were visiting friends here in beautiful Swabia:) We had been praised so much about the food. The food was great!!!!Very, very tasty & beautifully prepared ;) We ate there twice in 4 days because we liked it so much. However, there is a waitress (female) who has no friendliness and serves the tables without emotional facial expressions, and the sound plays the music... She has clearly missed the career field!!!! When asked whether the spaetzle were homemade, the answer from the unfriendly and unmotivated waitress was: "Why?" We asked this question because we only know spaetzle from the bag, and they are really good there in the Dächle were good for consumption.. Otherwise it tasted very good and if the service in question had been just as friendly it would have been even nicer. Unfortunately only 1 star for the service :((

The Dächle was very praised and so we wanted to stop here too. We were there at lunchtime and the terrace was already full. Neither of us found the beer garden particularly comfortable. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. The food was ready after just 5 minutes and wasn't particularly tasty. All in all, we felt the Dächle was overrated and average mass processing. Ok, but nothing special either.

Das Essen war sehr lecker wie immer allerdings war die Bedingung sehr unfreundlich und es wurde auch nichts zu der Aktion von 9,90€ erklärt . Ich habe für 3 große Getränke (Cola,mirinda und Wasser alles im Glas ) und 2mal Jägerschnitzel und einmal normales Schnitzel und eine Kinder Portion mit Schnitzel und Spätzle 58€ bezahlt wie kann das sein ? Wurde dann einfach Trinkgeld drauf gerechnet ? Ich habe zusätzlich noch Trinkgeld gegeben aber hätte ich das vorher gewusst das mit irgend etwas mit dazu gerechnet wird hätte ich kein Trinkgeld gegeben.

Not even one star was deserved Reserved there on May 9th, 2024 at 1 p.m. What I also found very bold was that they asked if I could eat turkey schnitzel instead of pork schnitzel because I'm a Muslim and the answer came: No, otherwise there isn't enough for the salads. What kind of statement is that? Then it took over 30 minutes for someone to come and take drinks, that's not the problem. The drinks came with another service force then food was brought. The wrong table can happen the first time, then the second time with the wrong side dish and it's now 2 p.m. and at 3 p.m. we're supposed to clear the area because they've already reserved someone else at that table. Eating the wrong thing 3 times after 1 hour, that can't be it. For me it was the first and last time I ate at this restaurant and I won't recommend it to anyone.

Good Swabian bourgeois cuisine. Food is good across the board (cheese spaetzle, onion roast, etc.). . XXL burger was also delicious. Simple and solid with a diameter of approx. 17cm and a delicious salad.

Urschwäbische Küche vom Rostbraten mit Bratkartoffeln über Jägerschnitzel mit Spätzle bis hin zur Riesenmaultasche mit Kartoffelsalat in richtig schön grossen Portionen zum satt werden zum unschlagbaren Preis. Ein Tipp für alle die hier mit mehreren schwäbisch Essengehen wollen. Zudem bietet das Dächle in seiner Aktionswoche vom 04.05. bis 11.05.2024 jede Speise für einen unschlagbaren Preis von 9.90€ an. Super!

The food WAS really great for many years, but unfortunately that is no longer the case in terms of quality. Schnitzel - wafer-thin and packet sauce. For me that was it - unfortunately!

Great store with friendly and courteous service that you rarely find anymore. Despite the store being full, we were seated at the counter and then given the next available table. The food was very good and the beer was tasty too. When we're back in the area, we'll definitely come back!

Auf unser Essen brauchten wir nicht lange warten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir bestellten Rostbraten. Das Fleisch war weich und medium, wie bestellt. ABER: Es war kein Rostbraten! Und die Soße war aus dem "Päckle", also nicht selbst gemacht. Das dürfte nicht sein! Wenn auf der Speisekarte "Rostbraten" steht, sollte es auch einer sein!

In Dächle you get home-style food, the portions are very large, and you'll be full. You should also make reservations on weekdays. There is also a beer garden. We were served quickly and friendly.

Six of us had dinner today and had already reserved the table the day before yesterday. All main courses were very tasty, as were the 4 desserts. Everything was very tasty and very good portions, so that nothing was left to be desired. I went to Dächle every week in the late 80's/early 90's when I still lived here, and I remember what I missed. Delicious home-style cuisine, of very good quality and, just as before, a great price/performance ratio. Will come by again often for dinner. Keep it up.

We actually come here for dinner every 4 months and have been very satisfied so far. The roast is totally tough. The dessert apple strudel was hard and almost inedible. When I asked the conditions whether everything was ok. Of course we answered the question honestly that the roast was tough. She said forward it to the kitchen. That was it . When clearing away the dessert I told another Romanian woman that the roast was too tough and the potato salad tasted totally like vinegar and Maggi and the dessert was hard. She was of little interest. I said what happened that made you slack off so much in the last 4 months? Her answer: nothing, everything as usual can't do anything, and in a flash she was gone! The attitude that it doesn't matter what paying customers say. For us that means we were here for the last time with family and friends and we won't be coming back. It's a shame, but they lost paying customers who were happy to come

Unfortunately the fried potatoes were cold but it wasn't a problem for me, the food was still very tasty.

The Swabian inn 😂😂😂😂! If a non-Swabian goes to eat here and doesn't know the very good Swabian cuisine, they will think that Swabians eat everything too! The salad is partly a finished product, the green salad has collapsed, the potato salad is not fresh! Schnitzel finished product, sauce finished product, fried potatoes totally greasy and mushy (I think it was also a finished product). Käsespätzle were dry, not creamy and fluffy. You used to be able to eat very well here, unfortunately that's no longer the case. It's a shame.

Four dishes, 4x grade 5! The quality and taste of the dishes is a disgrace for a restaurant! Unfortunately a lot of convenience products! A pity

Food is great! Our server was great! We may have to eat here one more time before we leave. I highly recommend this restaurant!
