Very tasty food and great staff

Today was our first visit to Da Toni, and it certainly won't be our last. We were completely satisfied with everything. The food, the ambiance, and the service were all excellent, with very friendly and dedicated staff. We highly recommend it.

Finally, a restaurant that truly deserves the name restaurant. The welcome and service were simply exemplary; the ladies are very attentive;) The ambiance is truly lovely. I ordered a sweet wine. A schnitzel with pasta and mushroom sauce was served as a starter, along with a delicious salad. I would definitely eat here again.

The food is very much in keeping with German cuisine. It often contains cream, which is rarely found in Italian cuisine. For those who like it, the food is very good. The service by the young women is very warm and friendly. No request is too much, and they are served with a smile. Thank you for your hospitality!

An absolute taste experience – 10/10! This steak was simply divine! Perfectly cooked medium-rare, crispy on the outside, and wonderfully juicy and tender on the inside. Every bite was pure enjoyment – ​​you can taste the quality of the meat and the attention to detail in its preparation. The sides perfectly rounded it all off. An absolute must for meat lovers – I'll definitely be back! 🤤

We visited Da Toni a few weeks ago and were completely impressed. Even the daily specials won us over: absolutely delicious, fresh, and prepared with love. We had spaghetti with chicken, spinach, and a creamy sauce – a dream! The portion was generous, perfectly seasoned, and wonderfully creamy. We would especially like to highlight the service: incredibly friendly, attentive, kind, and accommodating. You feel welcome and well-taken care of from the very first moment. If you're looking for good food in a pleasant atmosphere, you should definitely pay Da Toni a visit. We'll definitely be back!

Spontaneous visit – absolutely thrilled! We spontaneously dropped by on our bikes one Sunday and luckily managed to get a seat. The service was truly top-notch – super attentive, friendly, and quick. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a beautifully situated terrace where you can really relax. The food was simply delicious; every dish was cooked to perfection. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. We'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

A very good restaurant in a beautiful town like Ergenzigen

So today (May 11, 2025) it was catastrophic. Usually the service is great. But today it didn't work at all. You order pizza and say what you want on it. But just because I didn't say (with cheese) I got a pizza without cheese.

Been here again after a long time. It was very good, as always. Despite the large number of guests, the service was perfect, as was the food. If you want good Italian cuisine, you have to go to Da Toni. It's worth it. For me personally, the Gamberoni are the best I have eaten.

We were 15 people dining at the restaurant and absolutely everything was delicious. The food was amazing and you have to try out their delightful tiramisu. The staff were very polite and welcoming.

Unfortunately I can no longer recommend it. The boss is very unfriendly, you are simply sat at a garden table in the restaurant with other people. Mass processing food was cold and unfortunately only cash payment is possible these days.

Some of the food was served cold, the noodles tasted like nothing and were overcooked. Customer requests are not taken into account. Waiters aren't the brightest when it comes to taking orders. Price/performance is completely lacking. For the money I've had much better food. Unfortunately not recommended

Two people had dinner yesterday, everyone had a pizza. Taste was excellent and so was the service. We were asked several times if we needed anything else and if everything was OK. Food came quickly and the service is super friendly. I can definitely recommend it.

We were there with a group of 20 people (registered) for dinner. Everything worked out great. Orders were taken quickly and served quickly. The food is good, good average and recommended. The downside is the open space, where it can be quite loud when the restaurant is busy. What stands out are the prices: it is still comparatively cheap here. Definitely worth a visit.

Super delicious food!!! The girls are very friendly, absolutely perfect. I'm only giving one star less because it was just too loud for me. The food and the staff belong in an elevated restaurant with more peace and quiet so that you can enjoy the whole thing better. But I'll come back, it's definitely worth it!!!

First of all I have to praise the service staff, very friendly and helpful. We were there for the third time now. On our first visit we were so excited about the antipasti plate, Insalata Mista and Paccheri al cognac, with beautiful, tender strips of beef, we only gave it a rating of 1. Because we were so excited, the four of us went back two weeks later. Same order again with a disappointed result, antipasti with the simplest salami, not even the various pieces of cheese and so much garlic on the grilled vegetables, the paccheri only had about half of beef and those were small pieces. Well, maybe the chef isn't having a good day today. So we went again with 5 people. Insalata mista was just leaf lettuce with two slices of cucumber and two mini cherry tomatoes. Vitello Tonato was tasteless, the capers didn't taste like anything. The paccheri were just folded lasagna sheets with small 1 cm pieces of beef and the sauce wasn't tasty either. It's a shame, we were already disappointed.

Today we must have had a bad day at Da Toni. Not only did we wait over an hour for the food, we had to wait almost as long to be able to pay. Apart from the pizzas and spaghetti dishes, the rest of the food was sparse in quantity and did not justify the price. On top of that, the waitress miscalculated the bill to our disadvantage. (To her credit, she apologized for the waiting times and that she had to pay for the first time.) I don't know if we'll come back again.

The man receives a very friendly welcome. If you have wishes, they will be perceived. The food is very good and plentiful. There is a lot of space locally, both inside and outside. Always worth a visit. Kind regards.

Highly recommended!!! I always enjoy eating there or picking something up because the food is simply delicious. Once a portion of salmon noodles went missing when I ordered it to be picked up. After I told the employee, the second portion was cooked within a very short time and I was able to go home. At home the food was still warm! I drive about 10 minutes!!! Nevertheless, I wasn't disappointed once again. The employees are friendly and the boss is very hospitable, thank you!!!

Haben heute eine größere Bestellung aufgegeben. Essen war sehr schnell fertig. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Essen lässt allerdings zu Wünschen übrig. Wenn ich Carbonara bestelle, erwarte ich auch dies und nicht Spaghetti in Sahne-Soße mit Schinken. Die Pizzen waren ok, aber für die Qualität kann ich auch beim Lieferdienst bestellen. Schade eigentlich, hier war es mal richtig gut.

Freundliches Bedienungspersonal, das ist aber auch das einzig Positive was es über die Lokalität zu sagen gibt. Zunächst wurde unsere Reservierung wohl vergessen und es musste erst andere Gäste umgesetzt werden, dann hieß es es gebe keinen Pizzateig mehr, man könne lediglich Nudeln o.Ä. bestellen. Als nach knapp zwei langen Stunden Wartezeit nun endlich das Essen geliefert wurde (während der Wartezeit wurden munter Kunden des Straßenverkaufes weiter mit Pizzen bedient) stellte sich heraus, dass gerade über diesen Straßenverkauf weiterhin Pizzen bestellt und geliefert wurden. Eine absolute Frechheit den Gästen im Lokal gegenüber!

Wir waren zu einem 60. Geburtstag eingeladen und die haben das sehr schön arrangiert und das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut.

Sehr leckeres italienisches Essen, ideal für eine fahrtpause nahe der a81. Sehr freundlicher Service, Spielplatz nebenan und Aussenterasse. Jederzeit wieder!

Wir waren schon öfter hier , das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Sehr netter Service, die Mitarbeiter sind auch mit längeren Wartezeiten sehr kundenorientiert umgegangen. Bei unserem aktuellen Besuch war leider aufgrund der Urlaubszeit das Personal unterbesetzt, die Beiden Bedienungen haben trotz Abwesenheit des Chefs mit exemplarischer Motivation den Laden trotzdem gerockt. Hut ab ! Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden, überdachte Außenplätze ebenfalls.

Das Essen war super, der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Pizza ist nicht schlecht. Was zu bemängeln ist, dass in der heutigen Zeit im Restaurant keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist.

Im Leben hätte ich nie gedacht das man in einem Sportheim so unfassbar lecker italienisch essen kann! Mein absoluter Geheimtipp ist das selbstgemachte Tiramisu!! Ein MUSS für jeden der die italienische Küche liebt. Meine beste Freundin und ich sind begeistert, wir waren sicherlich nicht das letzte mal hier.
