We went for the second time based on a recommendation Time here and enjoyed an Italian evening in the small wine-covered guest garden. Drinks are great, as is the greeting from the kitchen, but the pizza is worth the long journey. Not your run-of-the-mill Italian, very tasty food and nice service. In addition to the menu, there are also seasonal special dishes (currently chanterelles). The food and wine were excellent and the service was also courteous. The only thing that takes some getting used to for us Hamburgers is that the kitchen is actually only open until 8:45 p.m. (an exception was made for our dessert, thank you again for that) and the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Very friendly service, we were immediately informed that there would be a longer waiting time. We stayed anyway and were rewarded with delicious bruschetta, pizza and lasagne. When we had already set off, the good lady of the house came running after us... with a chocolate candy for the child... really sweet. Thank you again...

I have eaten at an Italian restaurant many times in the last few months, I might even say years. However, I have rarely seen so many individual, delicious and homemade dishes on the menu as here. Homemade delicious bread, homemade pasta, my own creations of bruschetta and even the truffle oil in my pasta was well measured. It's a shame that Romeo is at home so far away from us. Or maybe good, otherwise I would be here at least weekly.

Absolutely not recommended! I have never been treated so unkindly and rudely! Mind you, this doesn't apply to the nice waiter who just started! He was super nice and sensitive! (The 2 stars for the service are just for him! I would also give him 5, but that would be too misleading since unfortunately almost only the boss served us). The boss is anything but empathetic! First to eat: Mixed salad: 3 leaves of lettuce, 3 slices of champion, 3 slices of cucumber, 3 slices of tomato and a few grated carrots - very small! 6.80 euros. When asked about this, they said that salad was expensive and it was my fault for not reading correctly! Mind you, it didn't say anything about small salad! The highlight, however, was the vegetarian pizza: with tons of puree and carrots! When I told my family that I didn't like pork and that I didn't think it was typically Italian that it was on a pizza with carrots, the boss happened to overhear this and started loudly discussing that I was her and her kitchen would offend and this is very typical in Calabria (It's not! I found out from a reliable source in Calabria!). The highlight, however, was when she shouted loudly in front of all the other guests that I should go to the Albanian where I could get my Italian pizza. She couldn't stop making me and my family look stupid in front of all the other guests! As for the rest of the meal: the pizza was simply not good! Very hard, thin, etc. The salmon in the pasta tasted watery and kind of weird. The salad was the best in terms of taste, thanks to the really delicious dressing! And the bruschetta wasn't bad either. In any case, I ate exactly one slice of my pizza, but couldn't eat any more because I simply lost my appetite. Towards the end, when I thought all the guests had left, I tried to talk to her again, which resulted in a very loud discussion and again involving the remaining 2 guests (my apologies again to these two! I hadn't seen them and didn't want to certainly not spoiling their evening) ended. I also had to pay for the pizza because I supposedly ate half of it and twice for the salad, even though we only had one of those... The boss didn't stop arguing and was absolutely unreasonable, even though I kept saying it tried to give in. But I didn't want to pay for the pizza for the reasons mentioned, whereupon I had to hear loudly that this was typically German and that I was only making the whole fuss because I didn't want to pay for the pizza... that was so typical for the Germans.... I myself have worked in the catering industry for years and would like to say that you shouldn't treat your guests like that! Just stunned!

The best lunch ever. Freshly prepared with home-baked bread, salad and a varied weekly changing lunch menu. Very good value for money. Family run! ♥️🙏

A friend from Schneverdingen often eats here with enthusiasm and took me along. He didn't promise too much: we both ordered liver, which was freshly prepared and arrived hot on the plate. It tasted delicious and the prices were still at the same level as before the VAT increase and the inflationary tendencies caused by the crisis of the war in Ukraine. At lunchtime there were enough free parking spaces directly in front of the house. The service was very friendly and genuinely concerned about their customers. I felt the joy of the owner and the waiters in leading this restaurant safely into the future, even in challenging times and against the general trend of increasing prices in the catering industry.

I made a reservation for 17 people the day before and although the number changed twice, the contact on the phone was always super friendly and the service on site was absolutely perfect because the order had been arranged in advance. Ich bin durch die positiven Rezensionen auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Doch die wenigen Negativen haben mich neugierig gemacht. Das war der Grund wieso ich das erste Mal bei da Romeo essen war und ich immer wieder dort hin gezogen werde. Das perfekte Klima innerhalb des Familienunternehmens und unter den Mitarbeitern dort ist 1A. Sie arbeiten zusammen wie Hand und Handschuh. Sobald man die Tür des Restaurants betretet ist man in Italien angekommen. Hier erwartet einen von Antipasti über Nudeln/Pizza bis Fisch und Fleisch nur das Beste vom Besten. Vom Nachtisch will ich erst gar nicht anfangen zu schwärmen.. Eine persönliche Empfehlung: gehen Sie rein, lassen sie sich auf die Empfehlungen des Kochchefs ein und genießen Sie diese einzigartige Erfahrung. Die Welt gehört dem der sie genießt..und dort können Sie das ohne wenn und aber.

Essen war OK, nichts besonderes.Die Bolognese war mir zu tomatig, durchschnittlicher Geschmack. Service war nett, wirkte aber etwas gestresst.

Nette Personal, leckeres Essen

Wir waren zum ersten mal in diesem Restaurant, aber nicht das letzte mal. Die Bedingungen war so freundlich, die Chefin so herzlichen, dass Essen so gut. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Ich habe etwas gegessen, dass ich vorher noch nie beim Italiener auf der Karte gesehen habe. Es war so lecker. Verrate nicht was es war…….. Lieber selber hinfahren und sich beraten lassen👍🏻 Es ist für jeden was dabei!

Endlich mal ein Italiener, der weiß das "mit Knoblauch" heißt. Echter Knoblauch und kein Öl. Pizza war uns etwas zu knusprig aber geschmacklich war sie gut.

Es gibt sie noch, und zwar einen Koch der die Leidenschaft auf den Teller bringt. Mit der Zusammenarbeit vom Service wird es ein tolles Erlebnis da zu Essen. Was schade ist, das es schwer ist heutzutage noch gutes personal für die Küche zu finden, was die Kapazitäten einschränkt, damit die Qualität nicht leidet .

Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkit wird hier groß geschrieben!!! Perfektes Essen, perfekter Service und der beste Lambrusco. Der Koch ist exzellent! Fischgerichte sind außergewöhnlich gut und sehr variantenreich. Für mich mit Abstand das beste Lokal vor Ort!!!!

Hatten 3x Pizza. Der Belag war ok, aber der Teig nicht schön. Viel zu zäh. Man hat ihn kaum schneiden bzw. nicht gut und entspannt kauen können und wir haben alle noch gute Zähne. Ich habe 1/4 meiner 17€ Pizza gegessen und meine Schwägerin alle Ränder abgeschnitten. Der Bedienung evtl.Chefin (?) unsere Enttäuschung geschildert, wurde Sie leicht aggressiv, schnappte sich mein Besteck und wollte mir die Pizza schneiden. Sie machte dann das Messer dafür verantwortlich. So ein vorführendes Verhalten geht garnicht. Sehr schade, wollten einen schönen Abend mit Dessert etc. erleben.

Die leckerste Pizza überhaupt, super nettes Personal und seit Jahren mein Lieblingsrestaurant.

Hier kann man unglaublich lecker essen. Es gab sehr inspirierende Kreationen, die das Gefühl gaben, direkt im Herzen Italiens gelandet zu sein. Die Vorsuppe war so unglaublich vollmundig im Geschmack, wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe! Traumhaft waren auch Bedienung und Empfang: beide Damen waren äußerst freundlich und aufgeschlossen. So möchte ich gern immer essen gehen! In dieses Essen kann man sich verlieben ❤️

Meine Frau und ich waren heute zum ersten Mal bei "da Romeo". Und wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Ich habe schon ewig nicht mehr eine so gute Pizza "Frutti di Mare" gegessen. Der Wein, den ich mir dazu ausgesucht hatte, war ebenso hervorragend. Meine Frau war mit ihren Tagliatelle mit Scampi auch sehr zufrieden und das Dessert war oben drauf noch das Krönchen für uns beide. Anfang August ziehen wir aus NRW nach Schneverdingen (Insel) und freuen uns sehr, mit dem "da Romeo" hier einen sehr guten und absolut empfehlenswerten Top-Italiener gefunden zu haben.
