We spontaneously drove past on Sunday after an excursion and got a place without a reservation. Very courteous service, super friendly and fast. The food was super tasty, highly recommended. There are many Italian restaurants in this corner, but not all of them are good. Therefore I can only recommend Da Renato, very hospitable. It's worth a visit, but it's best to reserve in advance

Ambiance first class, nice seating under the vines. The service is great, very attentive. As for the meal itself, the schnitzel could have used a little more salt and pepper for our taste, and the fries as a side dish could have been given two more minutes in the deep fryer. Involtini was excellent, the side salad and vegetables were great.

A nice Italian restaurant with a cozy garden terrace. Nice service, fast service. In addition to pizza (great dough!) and pasta, they also do fish and meat very well. Be it steak, involtini, saltimbocca... I always liked it. Respect for the mushroom sauces, an extra point for the Bolognese sauce.

Damn good food! Be careful, large portions, you have to be very hungry! Eating on the terrace was great, the waitresses were very quick. We had a nice evening :)

Eaten deliciously. Had a salad with extra pizza bread. The salad portion was large and the pizza bread was extremely tasty and fluffy. Unfortunately, the noise level in the fully occupied interior is a bit high. But all in all a visit worth it.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The food was more than satisfactory for all guests (there were 11 of us). Regardless of size, taste and quality. Price performance is therefore also very good. Service was friendly, funny and attentive. Ambiance in the restaurant was very nice. Unfortunately we weren't on the terrace. But it will be made up for. Definitely not the last visit!

From the reservation for 14 people for May 10th, to the phone call from the owner asking whether it would stay at 14, to the welcome, to the flexibility when ordering - top. It doesn't get any better. Homemade pasta mista was perfectly prepared for 3 people, although this dish is (unfortunately) no longer on the menu. The vegetarian's unpopular peppers were replaced with fresh asparagus on the Vegetable pizza. All 14 were enthusiastic about the taste and presentation of the chosen dishes. Finally, the tiramisu caused astonishment - here the individual components were served and finished at the table. The boss himself, but also the service staff, were attentive and friendly. In summary - we felt in good hands and can only recommend "da Renato".

We ordered pizza and pasta on Friday evening, which was delicious ... We liked the atmosphere so much when we picked it up that we went to the restaurant with 6 people on Saturday evening, there was nothing to complain about, delicious food from starters to dessert, nice attentive service, everything was great!

We were passing through with the camper when we passed by here: so no reservation and fortunately more than enough space. The dog was allowed inside and it was carefully taken into account that there would be no clash with another dog and that adjacent tables would not be bothered by us. Extensive meal: starter, main course and dessert. Everything was delicious! The scampi and sauce were very tasty, as well as the bruschetta and melon. The pizzas were freshly made and well topped: not too full and not too thin. We could have used the base to be thinner, but having said that: it was airy and crispy, so it was well baked. Dessert was a nice and original tiramisu. Really delicious food. The staff was nice, attentive (when they heard the knife fall, they immediately came from the adjacent room to refresh), and came regularly (and not pushy or too often) to check whether everything was in order. The menu is very extensive with a lot of diverse choices. Definitely recommended!

Wir sind unangemeldet zu zweit in das Restaurant gegangen. Ohne Reservierung. Bei der Art wie man da abgewimmelt wird vergeht einem der Appetit. Dies geschah direkt nach Öffnung. Der komplette Laden war leer. Wir waren halt nur 2 Das ist wahrscheinlich Grund genug Gäste schroff abzuweisen und es schon fast als Beleidigung aufzunehmen, da man ja dann nicht genug verdient. Una belle Compania. No Grazie

Great atmosphere with very tasty food. We had snail soup as a starter. It was delicious and the main course was a mixed fish platter with vegetables for two people and a side salad. The fish and seafood were cooked to perfection. The price for the food is absolutely justified. We will come back in any case.

Great restaurant and delicious food. Luckily we had a reservation because the restaurant was completely booked on Saturday evening. The restaurant has a great ambience and is very cozy, although a bit noisy. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and the service was great! Our dishes came quickly and were very tasty. There are small boards all over the restaurant with special offers on dishes. We would have liked this as a small flyer in the regular menu or as a note from the service staff, because unfortunately we saw it too late and might have ordered one or two dishes from the tables ;) we would love to come back!

We made a reservation there. So initially there would have been 5 of us, our friends had to cancel at short notice due to illness, and then there were only 3 of us. When we arrived, we said so straight away. He brought us to the table, pulled the two tables apart (30cm) and asked us to sit down. It was too crowded and too close to each other for us if someone else had sat down at the other table. When we asked, we were given another table, which was actually the same size as the one that had been pulled apart before... It was very cold there. All three of us were freezing. The boss is way too loud and hectic. You can hear him constantly screaming (speaking very loudly) and causing unrest. Eat: The portions were large, the salad was very small. My husband ordered snails with chanterelles as a starter. He had to look for the snails. Bruchetta was good - more like pizza bread and tomatoes thrown on top Salad too much vinegar Schnitzel from Fritöse Fries very thin, not that great. Sauce was the same as the snails, nothing special. You have to say that at the Italian restaurant you should probably also eat pizza or something similar, but the menu with the many meat dishes sounded so good that we decided on schnitzel. We paid 82 odd euros for it plus drinks... a proud price. We had a voucher for 150 euros and a new one was issued so that we could possibly give it away as we no longer live here. The boss talked so quickly and was of course stressed again that they agreed on a round amount (60.00). Normally we would have had to get an additional 7.20 back. We didn't see any more of that. It was too stupid for us. We won't come back, even if the pizza tastes good, because it's just too stressful for us and the boss is too loud - you just hear him all the time

Today at half past twelve for lunch. What can I say, why wander into the distance when the good is so close. Two soups, onions and tortellini, great. Main courses schnitzel gypsy style and pizza Mon..? With mushrooms, salami and ham. Both very good. However, the best for last, the service was the best in a long time. Friendly, but not exaggerated, all additional offers offered and super fast. Great 👍 If I were a restaurateur, we would want an employee like that. Thanks for a great lunch. Wir waren zum Abendessen bei diesem Italiener. Viele tolle Gerichte auf der Tageskarte. Wir haben uns final für das Rindertatar, den gegrillten Octopus und das Tuna Steak jeweils mit leckeren Spaghetti entschieden. Sehr freundlicher Service. Sehr gerne wieder.

Empathic boss! Thanks! On Monday, December 18th, 2023, I visited my daughter in rehab, who was dependent on crutches, and decided to invite her to eat pizza. Without a reservation, we arrived at the restaurant, which was full and there was actually no space left. But not with this landlord, he spontaneously created three more places for us!! I won't stress that the food was delicious, everything was great. As I was leaving I thanked her and the boss said with a smile: "I saw the girl with the crutches and there was no question that I would organize three more places. Great, thank you very much!!! Super leckeres italienisches Essen

Super lecker und freundliche Personal, immer wieder gerne 😊

Meine Lasagne war von der Portionsgröße vergleichsweise klein. Wenn man da satt werden möchte sollte man dazu noch mindestens eine Vorspeise oder Nachspeise dazubestellen. Geschmacklich war die Lasagne aber einwandfrei. Der Service war aber recht unaufmerksam. Ein Essen kam viel später als die anderen. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde das noch fehlende Essen serviert. Auch bei den Getränken hatte man kein Interesse nachzufragen, ob man noch etwas nachbestellen möchte. Ein gemütliches Zusammensetzen nach dem Essen war anscheinend nicht gewünscht. Vermutlich war der Tisch an dem Abend ein zweites Mal reserviert. Die Luft im Restaurant war miefig. Die Kleidung roch nach dem Restaurantbesuch sehr nach Küchendunst. Das ist einfach nur ekelhaft. Das Restaurant ist vergleichsweise klein. Das Interieur wirkt schon sehr altbacken. Der Eingang ist nicht barrierefrei.

Außergewöhnlich guter Italiener mit hervorragender Küche!

Sehr leckeres Essen und total gemütlich eingerichtet, jedoch auch sehr laut von der Akustik. Dennoch komme ich sehr gerne wieder, weil hier einfach alles passt!

Mein Lieblingsitaliener seit Jahrzehnten. Hier wird noch richtig gut frisch gekocht. Auch Service und Ambiente sind gut. Leider wohne ich inzwischen etwas weiter weg, aber wenn ich in der Nähe bin, komme ich immer noch gerne.

Wir waren 1 Woche in Bad Schönborn und davon jeden geöffneten Abend im Lokal. Service und Essen, wie schon vor 5 Jahren, mega. Da fehlen einem die Worte … Zwiebelsuppe, Bruschetta, Muscheln, Vitello Tonnato oder Grillfischplatte, Entrecôte, Saltimbocca (das Beste was ich bisher gegessen habe) oder ein fantastisches 5-Gänge-Menü (wahlweise Fisch oder Fleisch), sowie Panna Cotta, Tartufo nero, fragola oder bianco (extra für uns besorgt), aber auch das Tiramisu - alles, wirklich alles ein Traum. Wunderschön angerichtet! Das Tiramisu kommt tatsächlich in Einzelteilen, wird vom sehr netten, aufmerksamen Personal zubereitet… und ja, die Creme ist etwas Sahnelastiger, aber sicher nicht mit einer Sprühsahne vom Discounter!!! Es gibt solche Geräte zum Befüllen der eigenen Creme - damit’s halt schön ausschaut. Wer diesen Gaumengenuss tatsächlich mit fertiger Sprühsahne vergleicht, sollte weiterhin bei den Discountern einkaufen und nicht so ein Lokal beleidigen… Wir kommen wieder - vielleicht schon nächstes Jahr…♥️ Und nochmals vielen Dank fürs Besorgen der Rosen für unseren Hochzeitstag 🥰

Wir waren schon oft hier und das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Heute leider Chaos im Service: Vorspeise vergessen, ein Hauptgericht komplett falsch und mein 8 jähriger Sohn hat über 90 Minuten auf sein Kinderschnitzel gewartet. Sehr schade!

Mal wieder ein tolles Abendessen und vor allem klasse familiäres Flair, mit einem sehr leckeren Vorspeisenteller, Italienischen secondo und ausgezeichneten Lugana … danke 🤩

Wir waren jetzt zwei Mal hintereinander bei Renato und können das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Spaghetti Scampi, Rucola-Salat und heute zur Krönung ein 600g T-Bone vom Grill,,, alles perfekt !! Besonders schön ist der Pergola-Garten mit einer Überdachung aus Weinlaub und vielen schönen Deko-Artikeln.

Mal wieder super gegessen, und auf der Terrasse ist es herrlich.

All fresh, tasty, satisfying. The Ambiente is cheerful, I particularly love the garden, lush and cool, even on a hot summer evening. Staff is attentive, very friendly and welcoming.

Während unserer Urlaubswoche in Bad Schönborn waren wir gleich zwei mal hier essen. Wir haben draußen gesessen: super tolles Ambiente, obwohl das Restaurant an der Hauptstraße liegt. Der Service war super, nicht aufdringlich, man musste nicht lange warten - genau auf den Punkt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wenn wir noch länger bleiben würden, würden wir ganz sicher wieder gehen. Absolute Weiter-Empfehlung!

Sehr unerwartet haben wir in diesem kleinen Ort einen wirklich guten Italiener gefunden. Wir hatten keine Reservierung und hatten Glück den letzten Tisch auf der mit Wein überdachten Terrasse zu bekommen. Die Vorspeise Bruscetta war frisch aus dem Ofen sehr lecker. Hauptgerichte (Nudeln) sehr lecker. Bestes Preis-Lleistungsverhältnis !

Einen derartig unverschämten Restaurantbesuch habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Als unangemeldeter Gast fragte ich höflich um einen Tisch an, der mir auch freundlich zugewiesen wurde.(Ein 2er Tisch) Ich war erfreut und überrascht einen Platz zu bekommen. Nach einem Prosecco und anschl. Salat und Bruscetta, wählte ich ein veganes Nudelgericht dazu einen vorzüglichen Weißwein. Der Salat war sehr gut.Beim Nudelgericht war mir das Gemüse zu Al dente. Das Pizzabrot schmeckte hervorragend aber die Tomaten drauf geschmacklos. Die mediterrane Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm. Nachdem ich emtspannt gespeist hatte,bestellte ich einen Espresso und die Rechnung dazu.Es kam der Chef persönlich auf mich zu und sagte : "Entschuldigung Signiora,aber ich brauche dringend den Tisch!"( Im Restaurant innen war noch alles frei, denn ich saß auf der inzwischen gefüllten Terasse.) "selbstverständlich" meinte er,"darf ich meinen Espresso noch trinken!" auf welchen ich dann doch verzichtet habe. Das zum Thema "Gastfreundlichkeit" bei da Renato Er wollte mir dann als Trost einen Ramazotti anbieten,jedoch um den zu genießen hätte ich ja sicher den so dringend benötigten Tisch weitere Minuten in Anspruch genommen. Ich betrat das Restaurant ca.18:15 und verlassen habe ich es um 19:30 Wohl zu lange für eine Rechnung von 32,50 € ???

Toller, zuvorkommender Service. Hervorragendes Essen mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Niveau. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Guter Service, schmackhafte Spiesen sei es Panna oder Pizza. Es schmeckt und kann sehr gut weiterempfohlen werden. Weiter so,

Eigentlich wollten wir einen gemütlichen Silvesterabend im Da Renato mit einem 5 Gänge-Menü verbringen, den Tisch hatten wir auf 20 Uhr reserviert. Dort angekommen, teilte man uns mit, dass der Tisch leider noch nicht frei sei, es dürfte nicht mehr lange dauern. Als "Entschädigung" bekamen wir einen Prosecco, wobei das Glas nur zu einem Drittel gefüllt war. Wir standen vor der Theke geschlagene 40 Minuten und warteten auf unseren Tisch, stetig kam der Ausspruch, dass es nicht mehr lange dauern sollte. Unser Platz befand sich im "Weinkeller", die Tische waren dermaßen eng beieinander, dass man mit dem Stuhl ganz nach vorne rücken musste, sobald jemand vorbeigehen wollte. Bei der Getränkebestellung wurde anstelle eines alkoholfreien Bieres eines mit Alkohol serviert. Nach dem zweiten Gang Vorspeise wurde der Salat gebracht, ohne dass vorher die Teller abgeräumt waren. Die Nachbestellung für Getränke verlief sehr schleppend. Eine Entschuldigung für das lange Warten bekamen wir nicht, der Wirt meinte nur, die Vorgänger seien nicht pünktlich fertig geworden. Auf meinen Einwand der Überbuchung ist er nicht eingegangen. Es war eine absolute Zumutung, nach einer Reservierung so lange warten zu müssen, und auch die Enge der Tische war grenzwertig - von daher, nie mehr zu Da Renato!

wir waren im Rahmen einer Geburtstagsfeier dort zum Essen und waren 100% mit den Speisen und dem dazu gereichtem Wein zufrieden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
