Definitely worth a visit. Delicious food, excellent value for money, and extremely friendly and attentive service. Everything was perfect, and we were completely satisfied.

Food... Among other things, there was "Bodenseh Pizza," meaning you could search high and low for the toppings; the cheese was probably meant to compensate for the lack of toppings. The next person's pasta was also a case of "find the salmon"—unacceptable for the price (over €15 for the pizza and €18.50 for the pasta?!?). Garlic-free food seems impossible to find here. Hunger drove us to eat it, one could aptly say. The espresso afterward was also a disaster—lukewarm, incredibly bitter, and not just one, but all of them were disgusting. Service... Sorry, but there's definitely a lot of room for improvement. No "enjoy your meal" when serving, no follow-up to ask if everything was alright afterward—just to name two things. The ambiance is nice, appropriately decorated for Christmas. The only positive thing Finally, a comment from us... An "employee" walked around the dining area with a dirty glove during our visit!!! He went to guests' tables and then back behind the bar?!?!? Unbelievable; you can only shake your head. Our first and last visit there, because for those exorbitant prices, we all definitely expected something different. We have years of experience in the restaurant/service industry ourselves, so we see things quite differently....

I ate a "cream schnitzel" there, which was practically a child's portion: a small breaded piece of meat, a few fried potatoes, and to top it all off, a tiny bowl of cream sauce on the same plate. The main thing was to fill the plate, and all for €19.50. Once, but definitely not again.

We ordered food to pick up. It wasn't far from home. Unpacked the food, and it was lukewarm. The fries weren't salted, and the schnitzel tasted of nothing. You could have searched for sauce on the dish and the side salad... We won't be eating there again.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit worn, and the restrooms are located in the pool. Reservations are recommended as it gets very busy.

I was served very friendly and courteously by the really and genuinely nice owners/employees and the food (bruschetta, pizza, tiramisu) was excellent and beyond any doubt. The ambience was Italian perfect: real double tulips as table decorations, balsamic vinegar and olive oil on the table, Tricolore T-shirts, white fabric tablecloths... everything was right! And all at very reasonable prices. Very happy again!!!! Super!!! The Domenica di Pasqua mi è stateto assegnato a tavolo per quattro vicino alla finestra, senza aver prenotato. Sono state servito with great cordialità and cortesia dai proprietari/dipendenti, davvero cordiali, e il cibo (bruschetta, pizza, tiramisù) era excellent and irrepressible. The four of us enjoyed this Italian restaurant. It is not a large restaurant, there are about 50 seats. They specialize more in Calabrian cuisine. Calabria is the southernmost Italian province, so to speak, the heel of the boot on the map. The difference lies in the use of specific ingredients from that region, such as Nduja. The food was delicious and beautifully presented on the plates. We shared the Bruschetta Parma beforehand. We also tasted the Lasagna Calabrese, Bistecca con Tartuffo, Ravioli Spinaci and Pizza Salami. The portions are large, but we also had dessert. Panacotta with strawberries and an ice cream sundae. The service is very attentive and friendly.

There are few restaurants where you feel so at home and welcome. We spontaneously visited with 4 adults and 2 children and ordered different things across the board, which were all served at the same time. A takeaway order (tiramisu) was also prepared especially for us. We will definitely come back and look forward to being pampered.

I was at a compact rehearsal with a choir and we went to Amico Mio for dinner. Everything is great here. Reservation was quick, I even received a text message reminding me an hour before the agreed time. The employees are super friendly and very competent. The young lady who served our table was friendly and attentive. She saw immediately when a glass was empty and quickly refilled it. The food is high quality and skilfully prepared from fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is appealing and you immediately feel at home. The friendly and competent service was of course worth a reasonable tip for us. Thank you very much, welcome again at any time!

just TOP! The dressing on the side salad was amazing! exactly my taste - so good that I'm thinking about just having a large salad next time :) The schnitzel with mushroom cream was also great! The meat wasn't dry but nice and tender and you could taste that it was a fresh schnitzel - the sauce was also great :) We also had two pizzas, which were also very good and tasty :) especially because they didn't have a lot of burnt spots like they often do elsewhere. In my opinion the best restaurant in Hermeskeil! so clear recommendation!

Feel-good pizzeria with tasty 🍕. However, I reserved a table, which somehow didn't go down well on the phone ☎️. I would like to know why, because everything was full for two days the weekend before. And that's how the table was; very close to the cloakroom, so the guests who had to get their jackets because they wanted to leave apologized to us. There was another table available when we arrived, but unfortunately we didn't complain and my husband still left a tip. I will give this self-confident man another chance just because of the good pizza. Maybe he's not the boss and is no longer there for the 2nd CHANCE. That would be great and the nice female waitress would be worth further visits.
