Da Mario Pizzeria - Ristorante in Rendsburg

When we came in we were warmly welcomed and taken to our reserved table (Saturday 12/6/24) the cards were handed to us openly and we were warmly greeted by the host (junior) we didn't know what was coming to us... my partner and I both ordered the Luca pizza and the children ordered the Bolognese and the pinsa nr2…. We were more than thrilled, the courteous young man who had so much to do and stress that we didn't notice at all was always very attentive and accommodating. Thank you very much for looking after our family day so well... When we had given the order it's freshly prepared ciabatta bread with homemade aioli, the aioli is a poem... It was just fun to watch the family work, you can really tell how much love you put into each meal, it's simply fantastic, one or two restaurants should get a slice cut ... it won't be the last time we'll be at their restaurant. By far the best pizza we've eaten at their place in the last 25 years... As the head waiter said Grazie Millie and arrivederci Please continue in the same way and look after the young lady in the kitchen 🙏🇮🇹

Da Mario caught the eye with good reviews. We didn't really look into the menu or prices and just called. A salami pizza and a spinach pizza. Together with a small salad that was 30€. We took the pizzas with us. The restaurant is in a shopping center, which of course doesn't do the ambience any good. Christmas music was playing. It's okay at Christmas time, but you didn't really have the feeling of being at an Italian restaurant. The pizza was greasy, the dough thick and wobbly. The salami wasn't special. The spinach tasted sour. In my opinion the ingredients were not fresh. I doubt whether the pizza dough was homemade. All in all, I didn't see any difference to a pizza that might be available at chains like Smileys and Co. If you're looking for a typical Italian pizza, you've unfortunately come to the wrong place. With the €15 per person you probably would have had a better time at the Famila next door. I don't know why I would visit this restaurant again. A good frozen pizza would have been better.

Very tasty pizza, price/performance is outstanding. The service staff is very attentive and extremely friendly, and special requests are also happy to be fulfilled. Tiny little thing in case the host lets you do this: feel free to give a sharper knife with the pizza. I'd love to come back

Who would have thought that Italy could be reached so easily from Rendsburg. At least from a culinary point of view and in experiencing the proverbial Italian hospitality. If you want to experience it, all you have to do is go to the pizzeria “da Mario” in Eiderpark. At the beginning we were greeted warmly and given our place. The order was taken quickly without forgetting to exchange a few friendly words. This is how we found out that the Ristorante has been a family business in the third generation for 35 years. We were able to see that during the generational change, not one percent of the Italian friendliness and charm in “da Mario” has been lost. With that in mind, we were excited about our meal. We both ordered a pizza, which was quickly prepared by the senior manager. However, the desired level of spiciness was asked beforehand. Here every pizza is prepared individually according to the customer's wishes. The result was great. Both my wife's pizza and mine had plenty of toppings and tasted excellent. The dough in particular deserves praise here. He was simply “great”. We really felt at home in “da Mario” and will definitely be guests more often now.

11/2024: There is now a very nice atmosphere in the new store. Despite the mall. The lasagne was good, actually really good for a shopping center. But there is still some room for improvement. The waitress was super nice and even knew the regulars by name. One more star in everything. 2020 (3/5 stars): Went to Da Mario for lunch. The Italian is located in the Eiderpark shopping center. Vo. So you shouldn't expect much in terms of ambience. Nevertheless, an attempt is made to make up for the shortcomings of the echoing, neutral, lifeless shopping temple with decoration. The tortellini alla panna were OK. Temperature of the dish was great. The noodles were instant noodles, which is not a drawback. However, the cream sauce and the ham strips were also finished products. You should at least be able to do something like making cream sauce and cutting ham yourself. The price was ok, the service was friendly and prompt. Feel free to do this for a lunch that's a little nicer than the prepackaged one. Not more. But what do you expect from a store in a mall?

A great family restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a friendly team. The dishes are always wonderfully fresh, delicious and prepared with a lot of love. The service is particularly attentive and friendly, which means you always feel welcome here. The restaurant is the perfect choice for relaxed, tasty moments in good company!

For me the best pizza in Rendsburg! And a really great team. We are always happy to be there :-)

We ended up here via Google because we were in the area. Really fantastic food!! Well-filled, tasty pizzas. Even the edge was delicious, where it is often dry with others. We were received very kindly. Unfortunately we could not sit in the restaurant with the dog, but we could sit on the side of the shopping center. Therefore 4 stars for atmosphere. The dog was also given a bowl of water. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

We have been regular guests for several years and always enjoy coming here to eat. The family that runs this restaurant is funny and very lovely. You are always greeted warmly and can look forward to small, friendly and funny conversations. When you enter the store, it feels like you are coming "home". The food is very tasty and the service is very courteous. It is our personal favorite restaurant. We continue to enjoy coming here. 😊 PS: The tiramisu is awesome!❤️😊

A family business with 3 generations that has been based in Rendsburg for a long time. Very tasty food. Great service. Very friendly and accommodating. Attentive. After the renovation, very cozy and nice. The breakfast buffet is very varied and really Italian. Great. We always enjoy going there.

The small, cozy and friendly restaurant in Eiderpark aroused our enthusiasm... We were there for the first time, the food and the service were just fantastic 🥰... Five of us recently had a spontaneous meal and had a wonderful afternoon. What particularly impressed us all was the outstanding quality of the food and the friendly, cheerful service. Today I spontaneously went to Da Mario for a double espresso during my shopping break. Unfortunately, when I ordered I didn't ask if I could pay by card and so I actually ended up 20 cents short of paying my bill. The incredibly kind person who served me said I should just give him what I had. So I left after a very good espresso and with a very bad conscience, but with the firm intention of coming back and making up for my faux pas ☺️ By the way, I saw it for the first time after the renovation and I'm thrilled!

This was the second time we had eaten at the Pizzeria Da Mario. It was excellent again and we were really full. At the end a cappuccino fit in. If we're in Rendsburg again, we'd love to come back for dinner. THANKS!!!

Unfortunately the prices no longer match the quality. Inflation or not. Salads are no longer included with the pasta dishes. Starters were always included, now simply added to the bill, a shame 😓

And yes, what can I say, that was really a really good pizza. The music was a little too loud for my taste. But overall a very great place.

Wow. If you want to experience a real piece of Bella Italia, which really gives me wanderlust, you've come to the right place. The service is incomparable, nice, funny and always relaxed. And the food is incomparable, instead of the usual frozen ready-made food, here you get food made with love and heart. You know it, you go to the restaurant and order something that you know and definitely like, here you can really try everything and you won't be disappointed (pizzas are perfect, my favorite is the Lucca). Gnocchi (NR.71) which I actually don't like, as well as spinach (NR.78 Cannelloni with spinach) really convinced me. There is no restaurant that I would prefer! Keep it up and deepest respect for the heart and soul you put into the restaurant, it was worth it. ❤️ (The Caprese… wow it looked like a bouquet of flowers, just the sight of it was a highlight)

Super Bedienung und leckere Pizzen!

Vom Frühstück waren wir leider etwas enttäuscht. Wir hatten das Frühstück für Zwei, da sollte man auch alles (Käse, Aufschnitt) 2x bekommen. Es war ganz nett angerichtet, aber nichts besonderes. Geschmacklich auch nur Durchschnitt.

Die Pinsa ist besonders zu empfehlen!

Ein klassisches italienisches Restaurant/Bistro. Hier kann man Frühstücken, den Mittagstisch wählen oder zu Abendessen. Wir sind seit vielen Jahren immer mal wieder dort und waren nie enttäuscht. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich geben einem schnell das Gefühl schon öfter Gast gewesen zu sein.

Hier wird mit Liebe gekocht, bin noch nie enttäuscht worden. Es ist auch immer Zeit für ein kleines Gespräch. Hatte heute den Da Mario Teller, kann ich wirklich empfehlen.

Tolles Essen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Tortellini. Einfach lecker. Keine langen Wartezeiten.

Das Essen dort ist ganz fantastisch und vielseitig. Der Herr, der uns bedient hat, war sehr freundlich und witzig.. Einzig die Tatsache, dass man dort nicht allzu gemütlich sitzt, ist negativ. Ansonsten super und immer wieder gerne 😋

Top Essen und sehr aufmerksames Personal

Wer Lust auf leckere Pizza hat, ist hier genau richtig! Zudem sehr nettes Personal. Man hat den Laden meiner Meinung nach nicht immer ganz auf dem Schirm, da er ganz hinten im Eiderpark zu finden ist, was etwas schade ist, da ihn viel mehr Leute kennen sollten! Den Lieferservice habe ich noch nie ausprobiert, werde das in Zukunft aber bestimmt tun.

Seit vielen Jahren immer wieder gerne, super leckere Gerichte, Sonderwünsche null Problemo, sehr freundliches und sympathisches Personal, bin gespannt auf das neue Restaurant mit Außenbereich!

Wir waren schon ein paarmal zu Gast bei Da Mario. Am Samstag hatten wir F) und L) der Extrakarte. Es war sehr gut; dieses Mal Fleischgericht und Tagliatelle-Gericht. Das Essen (wie auch bei früheren Besuchen die Pizzen) war hervorragend und der Service sehr freundlich.

Wir haben dort heute drei wirklich klasse Gerichte gegessen zweimal Pasta und einmal die da Mario Platte und das war einfach sensationell gut, so nett und herzlich und das trotz dessen wir fremd waren, wird man ganz selten begrüßt und dieses Restaurant wird uns auf jeden Fall wieder sehen. Das Essen war einfach Weltklasse und es war ein super nettes Restaurant mit super netter Bedienung und super netten Leuten (Inhabern).
