We sometimes don't have the words to describe the warmth, implementation, quality and perfection. ♥️ The food is incredibly delicious and the wines are perfectly matched. The decoration was fabulously staged. Every detail is valued here - our entire family of around 30 people were thrilled about the wedding! Luca and his wife responded to many of our special requests and conjured up an unforgettable day for us! We can only wholeheartedly recommend everything here! Thanks alot! 🌟

Very quaint restaurant with decent food and friendly service

I have never eaten mahi mahi. So delicious! As a starter I had spaghetti with prawns from the daily menu. Absolute recommendation - and all bambinos are also welcome at Luca! 🥰

Service is friendly but unfortunately it always takes a while until someone comes. The food is good but the portions are sometimes very small. The fish with some asparagus and mini side dishes for €30 is enough to lose weight. But we'll still come back because it's comfortable inside and outside.

Friendly & super tasty and a really great atmosphere. The historic Franconian farm has been lovingly restored - the interior is stylish and modern. Healthy cuisine - something different than just pizza & pasta - although that is also available there - but with a bit of fine-tuning :)

A must for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine. The menu changes again and again, the boss personally advises on the wine selection, and the service and ambience are excellent. The children's wishes are taken into account. We really enjoy coming here.

The four of us reserved a table there and were assigned the one in the vaulted cellar. At first glance, an interesting atmosphere. There were a lot of guests there and of course everyone was chatting. This created a carpet of noise that made communication at the very large table and the correspondingly large seating distance considerably more difficult. The bruschetta we ordered was topped with lots of small, halved tomatoes, which immediately fell back onto the plate when I picked it up. The tagliere pizzas we ordered were served lukewarm. Hm... Well, the high price level meant we could expect better. However, the ingredients were fresh and very tasty. The staff was very friendly, the charming boss went to every table and asked if everything was OK.

A truly fantastic restaurant! Refined trattoria atmosphere, simple and traditional dishes prepared with absolutely Italian ingredients. 100% authentic dishes, you can eat divinely! It's really rare to find places like this that make you feel at home! Luca and his wife welcomed us like old friends, we had a great time and we can't wait to return. They also have an excellent selection of wines that they buy directly in Italy. It is really worth visiting this restaurant, which is easily accessible from Nuremberg. Thanks for everything!

Located in a very secluded area within nuremberg but there's a hidden gem. Came here with colleagues and we had superb food & good company for the evening. We let our colleague to pick our food & we were amazed by the presentation of the food, when we put into our mouth, it's tantalisingly awesome 😋 highly recommend for foodies.

Food and service always at the top!

For now I only give it 4 stars. We will definitely be back - I would be happy to adjust this rating to 5 stars afterwards! Service seems chaotic and disorganized. We were asked for drinks by 3 different people - later in the evening no one looked into the dining room for a longer period of time, so sometimes. other guests went to the bar to order drinks. With a fine Italian. I expect significantly better service from a restaurant with higher prices. The food was phenomenally delicious and the kind that can only be found in the right corners of Italy. The pasta would be cooked too "hard" for most guests without an Italian background, but it's just right and fantastic! The quality of the ingredients is also remarkable. With no Italian. I got a San Daniele ham of this quality from the supermarket in Germany. However, the waiting times were very long and incomprehensible. Several tables received their food before us even though they had ordered after us. As a result, we refrained from ordering dessert because we probably had to wait a long time again out of “uncertainty”. The drink prices were a bland aftertaste. The wine was excellent, but an apple spritzer for €4.70, a bottle of water for €6.50 and an espresso for €2.50 were not.

A bit inconspicuous from the outside but great, high-quality ambience and great food. Top quality. For discerning people, one of the few restaurants in the region that can really be recommended!

Das etwas andere italienische Restaurant in Bezug auf seine Speisen und guten Weine war wieder mal einen Besuch wert. Das vom Chef selbst zubereitete Essen war sehr gut und wurde vom Service einfach herzlich serviert. Wir freuen uns auf einen baldigen Besuch in diesem gemütlichen Italiener. Danke an L&L

My husband and I really enjoyed the New Year's Eve menu. First-class menu sequence, ambience, staff and the owner couple are great and always in a good mood. Big praise for the achievement of creating a 7-course meal for 50 guests. Hats off. The da Gallo in Heroldsberg is highly recommended and we will definitely enjoy it again in regular operation. Very good cuisine! The bruschetta as a starter is highly recommended. Likewise the Pinsa! Very fine. Ambiance is very good and relaxed. We'll have to find out next time whether there is actually only one men's toilet...

Today we had an honor to eat at Da Gallo. The octopus with rosemary potato puree was a dream. Octopus was tender but crispy. Rosemary potato puree was really so delicious that you couldn't stop. Gniochi with prawns reminded us of the sea. A little spicy and very tasty. The spicy taste was balanced with cream and fish flavor . Simply delicious. Then Iberico Medalions with porcini mushroom sauce and truffle potato purrè. The porcini mushroom sauce and truffle potato urrè made me addicted to the taste. I wanted more and more. Then our dessert: Tiramisu (very good) and Panacotta with currant Kontiture.Panacotta was so delucious, heaven on the plate. I would like to thank the chef very much! They're great. We have eaten in many very good restaurants (including in Italy), but tonight was worth every euro we paid. I hope to see you soon 😀

Restaurant Da Gallo in Heroldsberg The Da Gallo restaurant in Heroldsberg has been around for a good 14 months. Certainly some will use the property previous tenants still know it under the name “so Sein”. We were there at irregular intervals for the 14 months frequent guests there. Admittedly, it took a while for Luca, as owner, to find his team and the process, but it's been fine After three months, the visit is not just culinary (that's what it was from the beginning), but also everything around it. a “heavenly little Italian break.” Da Gallo has found the perfect host in his wife Lydia. She never had to learn this, you with her warm-hearted, radiant manner, lives hospitality, which you cannot learn in a seminar. Luca, has his Role now finally found as “head chef and patron”. Now it has become a restaurant that we like a lot trust potential. The cuisine and love in the dishes is great and of outstanding quality! Stands for us Since Gallo is the two big Italian names (one has just changed hands) in the Nuremberg area in no way inferior to the food. We see that da Gallo is clearly at the forefront of Italian restaurants Nuremberg area! Bravo! We also took photos last time to give you an authentic, genuine and real impression as a guest give. These are simply photos taken with the cell phone, without Lydia or Luca knowing we were writing this report It doesn't get any more real, honest and authentic than that. We started at a really lovely table in the vault, with a bottle of Emma Borga from the very hyped Four Generations wine family from Veneto. The special thing here is that the white Manzoni matures in barriques for 18 months, while the Traminer rests in steel. Once the mixture is ready, the refinement in the bottle continues for at least 4 months. A really very tasty wine, especially since this time the starters consisted of the main courses that we ordered. Namely: First (Simultaneously in the middle) Burrata con Pomodorini Colorati (Burrata with colorful cherry tomatoes) Pappardelle al Ragu d’Anatra e Barolo (pappardelle with duck ragout and Barolo wine) Cacio e Pepe e Guanciale (Spaghetti with Pecorino cheese, pepper and guanciale) As main courses we had the following from the daily menu: Branzino in crosta di Zucchini (sea bass with zucchini crust) Filetto di Iberico con Pane croccante all'Aglio, Porcini e Aspargi Verdi (Iberico fillet with crispy garlic bread, fresh porcini mushrooms and green asparagus) decided. Afterwards coffee and (no picture – it was gone too quickly) and a pannacotta alla fragola and finally a sip of Pisoni Mirtillo (blueberry) It was really, really good. Look at the pictures, a special treat, with unusual dishes can be found at every restaurant. We are very happy if the weather finally gets better, and we outside on the great terrace, try the rest of the menu. We award for the development over the 14 months, the quality and taste of the food Host quality and the overall ambience 9.8 out of 10 possible points on our Richter scale. We look forward to further culinary trips to the heart of Veneto! It's great that we now have a second such special Italian restaurant in the Nuremberg area, which is so clearly different and stands out from the other Italian restaurants thanks to the dishes on the menu! Great Italian cuisine, very nice ambience and good service

High-priced restaurant with rather manageable portions, some of which were almost the size of a starter. Our group found most of the food to be tasty in terms of quality. My fish pan was actually a seafood or mussel pan with lots of chili and a few pieces of toasted bread instead of real side dishes. The wait for the food was an hour, even though most guests had already eaten after 8 p.m. The ambience is very nice. Queuing is compulsory in the rare toilets.

Ich war nun 6 mal im Restaurant. Einmal mittags zu Zweit - da war alles gut, abends einmal zu Zweit - sehr gut, 2 mal zu Viert: sehr lange Wartezeiten (wir waren schon bei der 2. Flasche Wein und hatten noch keine Vorspeise, selbst die Rechnung dauert 15 min; kein Sorry, kein Getränkchen ausgegeben nach unserer Reklamation); 2 mal in großer Gruppe - da wurde es mit den Zeiten, und Service schon schwierig. Unterm Strich: Essen gut, Service bemüht; Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht.

Nachdem wir das Restaurant Da Gallo in Heroldsberg das erste mal vor mittlerweile über einem Jahr entdeckt haben, wird es Zeit meine Rezension zu aktualisieren. Wir waren bei unserem ersten Besuch bereits von der sehr inovativen und sehr hochwertigen italienischen Küche begeistert. Auch nach über einem Jahr sind nicht nur die Inovationen der hervorragenden italienischen Küche, sondern auch die Herzlichkeit, mit der die Familie Gallo ihre Gäste empfängt und bewirtet so liebenswürdig, dass wir uns bei jedem Besuch fühlen, als wären wir zum Sonntagsessn bei der Familie. Mittlerweile können wir uns das Da Gallo mit seiner exzelenten venezianischen Küche und seinem herzlichen und gemütlichen Ambiente als institution aus Heroldsberg nicht mehr wegdenken. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch und wünschen der Familie Gallo und seinem Team ein frohes Weihnachtsfest und einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr 2024.

Super Bedienung, umfangreiches Speisen-und Getränkeangebot. Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Preise sind ok. Meistens gut besucht, deshalb Vorbestellen.

Überragendes Essen und ein Personal wo ihre Arbeit zu schätzen weiß.

Essen gut, Service schlecht. Die Speisen sind von guter Qualität und schmecken gut. Allerdings stimmt der schlechte/ unkoordinierte Service nicht mit dem angestrebten Konzept und den überdurchschnittlichen Preisen überein. Es wurden falsche/nicht gültige Tageskarten gereicht, bestellte Steaks waren nicht im gewünschten Gargrad, es gab erst nach einer längeren Diskussion mit der Bedienung ein Alternativangebot zur Beilage. Angeblich wären die Beilagen für den Abend abgezählt! Das bestellte Essen kam dann letztlich trotzdem mit der nicht gewünschten Beilage + einer weiteren Beilage. Das nennt man unflexibel! Trotz weniger Gäste wurde nicht ausreichend, aktiver Service (Getränke nachbestellen, Angebot von Tafelwasser) am Tisch geboten. Nach dem Verlangen der Rechnung, mussten wir nochmals 15 Minuten bis zur Bezahlung warten, obwohl das Lokal schon fast leer war. Nachdem an diesem Abend sehr viel schief ging, wir wirklich nicht zufrieden waren und dies auch kommuniziert hatten, war die einzige Entschuldigung ein kleiner Limoncello. In einem Lokal dieser Preisklasse, sollte das zur Gästebindung sowieso selbstverständlich sein. Weiterhin ließen die Sauberkeit der Herrentoilette zu wünschen übrig (Spinnweben, unsauberer Boden...) Alles in allem, man fühlte sich wirklich willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Im Gegenteil, als wir den falschen Gargrad der beiden 30 Euro Steaks freundlich reklamiert hatten und um ein Nachbraten in der Küche baten, verdrehte die Bedienung doch tatsächlich die Augen... das ist unfassbar unfreundlich und leider mehr als unprofessionell.

Hervorragendes Essen in wunderschöner Atmosphäre. Beim Service ginge sicherlich etwas mehr. Nachdem sich dann später die Mitarbeiterin / Inhaberin um uns gekümmert hat, wurde die Sache wieder rund… sie war extrem freundlich, hat Empfehlungen ausgesprochen und war sehr angenehm. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

High quality Italian restaurant where you can get creative dishes a little bit different to the standard Italian. It is also more expensive than the average but in my opinion worth trying. The venue is also pretty nice in an old building with walls of stones etc. Before Gallo there was here an expensive star restaurant. I think they also change the menu regularly. One of the dishes we wanted to try was already out at 20:30 but we found other things to choose. Food was good, especially the filet with very good meat and prepared rear as requested. The reason for removing one star is the service. It started well with a quick order, bottle of wine etc. Food also arrived quickly. However there were some details that need improvement, like for example I was left with the knife used for the starters to have a 38€ steak. A clean steak knife would have been appreciated. Also after the main course the service just disappeared. No one came to ask if we wanted dessert or coffe; we waited for 30 mins. Finally we had to go to the kitchen to order coffee. So in summary I recommend the restaurant if you like Italian and are looking for something special. But for a dinner over 100€ for two persons we expect a better service. Maybe they were overloaded, so we will give it another chance at some point.

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich aber die Wartezeit war astronomisch. Wir haben über 90 Minuten aufs Essen warten müssen. Hätte man uns im Vorfeld darauf hingewiesen, wäre es unsere Entscheidung gewesen, aber so war es wirklich enttäuschend. Mit viel Zeit wirklich zu empfehlen, da es hervorragend schmeckt.

Wir sind gerne hier zu Gast und haben dort vor Kurzem unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Das Menu war toll geplant. Keine Speisen von der Karte, sondern eine kreative gelungene Menufolge. Luca und seine Frau sind herzliche und entspannte Gastgeber, die unsere Wünsche für diesen besonderen Tag umgesetzt haben, sodass er für uns perfekt und unvergesslich war. Wir waren hier heute zum ersten Mal essen und waren echt super begeistert! Das Ambiente, das Essen und auch der Service war alles einfach toll! Es ist durchaus ein Premium-Preis, allerdings erhält man aus unserer Sicht auch ein Premium-Gesamtpaket! Wir waren insgesamt über 4 Stunden hier und es ist wirklich selten, dass wir so lange in einem Restaurant sind, weil wir es genießen. Heute war es hier so! Vielen Dank liebe Da Gallo-Family!

Die vegane Auswahl ist jetzt nicht gerade hoch, aber zumindest sind die Gerichte gut gekennzeichnet :) Geschmacklich war die Pinsa wirklich top! Da gibt es nix zu meckern, angemessen gewürzt, frische Zutaten und eine gute Portionsgröße. Der Teig war on point gebacken! Und nicht zu dick. Die Auswahl an Getränken ist auch spitze. Preislicht ist alles okay.

Wir hatten einen schönen unkomplizierten angenehmen Abend dort. Wir hatten zu viert eine Flasche Wein, eine Cola und eine Flasche Wasser. Das Wasser wurde erst nach Erinnerung gebracht. Die Tagesempfehlung ist auf auf einer kleinen Schiefertafel, die an den Tisch gestellt wird. Das Essen ist hochwertige gute italienische Küche. Es gibt keine Pizza, sondern sehr gute Pinza. Die Portionen sind nicht so groß, dass man kein Dessert mehr schafft. Leider ist auf der Hälfte der Gerichte diese unsägliche Balsamicoglace. Später hat der Service dann auf der Terrasse Fußball geschaut, weshalb nach den Hauptgang der Service zum Erliegen kam. Unserer Bitte nach Espresso, Kaffee und dem Dessert ist man aber freundlich nachgekommen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Es wurde auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. Vielen Dank an die Küche, die das Essen auf den Punkt genau gekocht hat. Von mir zu empfehlen sind die Pappardelle mit Enten Ragout. Die Vorspeise mit dem Schinken und Trüffel war ein einziges Gedicht.

Wir waren auf der Heimreise und uns wurde dieses Restaurant empfohlen. Das war das beste italienische Essen, klasse Erklärung der Speisekarte, freundliches Personal und sogar Hunde lieb. Wir haben uns bei euch wohl gefühlt und wenn es nicht so weit weg von uns wäre gerne wieder kommen.

Italienisch mal anders in der Aufmachung und Geschmack Und immer wechselnde Hauptgerichte Mit ausgefallenen Weinen. Gehe mit Familie und Freunden hin den ich werde nie enttäuscht. Keine Pizzeria, sondern ein "richtiger" Italiener. Tolles Ambiente, große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, das einem fast alle Wünsche erfüllt. Preislich logischerweise etwas höher angesiedelt aber es lohnt sich. Einige Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus, ansonsten mehr in der näheren Umgebung...

Wir sind viel unterwegs und Da Gallo gehört zu den besten, von uns besuchten, Restaurants. Um es kurz zu machen, alles ist Perfekt! Essen, Personal, Ambiente und Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr einfach von der Autobahn zu erreichen und mit Sicherheit einen Besuch wert!

Mein Mann und ich waren anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstages hier und haben den Abend rundum genossen. Das Essen war fantastisch und wir wurden sehr aufmerksam und nett umsorgt. Ich gehe nächsten Freitag mit einer Freundin wieder dort essen und freue mich schon sehr darauf. Unbedingt einen Besuch wert, wenn man Spezialitäten aus dem Veneto genießen möchte!
