Yes, with minor drawbacks. The pizza is good, but the crust is too crispy for me. That's a matter of personal taste, though, and has nothing to do with the quality. The pizzas are well-topped and of good quality. The service staff were very friendly and not pushy, as can sometimes be the case. The menu is varied and not overly elaborate. The ambiance is very pleasant and bright, without being too bright, and friendly.

We came here for the first time on the recommendation of friends. It was excellent, and the price/quality was absolutely perfect. Although it was very busy, we didn't have to wait too long. We will definitely come back and, based on the many positive reviews, hope to get a table again.

Unfortunately, I can't describe my experience, as we ordered for delivery, but it was truly a disaster. We didn't get what we ordered, and when we asked why the price didn't match what was on the menu, we asked if they had changed the prices. They said yes. But the worst thing is, you order a family pizza and get something else on it. We called right away and reported it, but the person on the phone was very rude and asked us if they really wanted to make a new pizza. So, after this stunt from this company, I won't be ordering from them again. This is truly disgusting.

Hello everyone... I really have to get something off my chest today. When we received a birthday invitation for yesterday, we read the reviews along with the menu. Since we had eaten there years ago, we could compare. These reviews from other guests gave us the feeling that a lot had changed... and not for the better. So we all went there with mixed feelings. And things turned out completely differently!!! The ambiance, the service of the staff, the value for money, the quality and quantity of the food, and ultimately the entire all-round package of this restaurant was so harmonious that we can give it 5 stars without a doubt. Pizza is really good. Service is okay. Tables are dirty, you have to ask the waiter to clean them. Closing quickly...at 11:20 p.m. you're asked to leave.

Were here on Easter Monday for the first time, but definitely not the last. Everything was good, from the starters to the dessert. Large selection of Italian dishes. The constantly changing daily menu is also recommended. The service was really great, even special requests were no problem at all. Recommended.

We had a spontaneous Easter dinner at Da Calogero and loved it! A beautifully designed ambience inside the community center invites you to linger, the staff is extremely nice and attentive. We had pizza, handmade pasta and delicious appetizers - plus good wine and beer. Absolutely good value for money! We'll definitely come back. Happy Easter!

We dropped by spontaneously on a Saturday lunchtime and were immediately greeted in a friendly manner. There was no problem finding a table for four people. The pizzas were really tasty, large selection and great value for money. Lt. The pasta is also available lactose and gluten free. It wasn't relevant to us, but it was positive. There is parking at the fire station.

We ate here for the first time today; contrary to my usual habits, I didn't eat pizza but lasagne. This was good but still had some room for improvement. For dessert I had tiramisu, which was the best I've ever eaten. The service was very friendly and I also liked the ambience Definitely recommended

Carlo & team cooked excellently for our wedding with our wishes in mind. The food was on point and we and our guests enjoyed it very much. We keep getting feedback that it was so delicious. Clear recommendation!

We come here often and have been very satisfied with the food, value for money and service. However, there was an event recently that left us a little speechless: As usual, we decided to pay by card. We were now denied an invoice before payment. When we asked astonishedly, we were told that it was because of the new payment program. And after all, there would be no bill in the supermarket. We found this explanation simply absurd and a bit outrageous, as we have never experienced anything like this in a restaurant.

It's probably no longer necessary to offer good restaurants. The last 3 visits were always disappointing. That's enough now. Never again! Fish was fried to death, vegetables and potatoes were lukewarm - I like hot food. Wine sauce was plump. Last time we were a group of 10 people, except for 2 the others were also disappointed

Some of the food was good. I can't recommend it more. The price-performance ratio wasn't right.

Although it was a bit out of the way, the store was large and clean, and there were a lot of customers. We ordered takeout, but it was so popular that reservations were fully booked on weekday evenings. All the food was well seasoned and delicious. The carbonara was especially delicious.

We had ordered from Calogero again for a long time because we unfortunately had bad experiences with adherence to delivery times in the past. We explicitly said that the pizzas shouldn't come before a certain time. However, suddenly the driver arrived about 20 minutes earlier, so the pizzas would have been cold by the announced time. My call to clarify the issue was responded to in a mushy, unreasonable manner with the final sentence: “Then order somewhere else” and we will do that too; never again Caloghero!!!

I have known the restaurant for many years. After the recent renovation, I had dinner there with colleagues at a Malteser Christmas party a few days ago. The atmosphere is now very friendly and modern. The waiter who served us was very professional and had everything under control, even if an order wasn't placed right away. An old hand. The food was delicious and I only heard positive feedback from my colleagues. So I thought I could publish this positive experience for the general public.

We had dinner with friends at Ristorarante Da Calogero last night. Just one sentence: It was mega 👍😉from the starter to the main course and the dessert (the desserts 😉) everything was perfect. The ambience and the staff 👍everything was right 👍

We are disappointed. Our single mother wanted to invite us for pizza and spent almost 60 euros on two family pizzas. We understand that prices have to be increased due to increased costs. However, the quality delivered was in no way related to the price. Both pizzas were completely burnt on one side. The edge is partially charred black. The cheese was just an indefinable brown mass and the salami was completely hard. There has to be a quality control before it leaves the kitchen and is delivered to the customers?! We used to always order Italian here, but will now refrain from doing so.

As a Ruppertshainer who emigrated to Munich, a meal at Calogero is a must when visiting your old homeland. My absolute favorite Italian and I've never been disappointed. The high quality of the food, the excellent service and a top price-performance ratio are worth five stars. Top recommendation

Don't be fooled by the outside, the restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. However, inside it is very nicely decorated. The selection of starters, main courses and desserts is good. The service is courteous and sufficiently quick. The quality and quantity of the food was very good. Another positive thing is that there are enough parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. I would recommend Da Calogero at any time.

Today we ordered a salad. The salad was delivered incorrectly twice. After a long discussion we received our money back. We weren't allowed to keep the salad. After 20 minutes the driver came back and wanted the money back, which we received back - since there was no salad. Never again !!!!

Fast delivery. The food was cold, the portion was unfortunately very poor and not particularly tasty.

At Easter we decided on the newly opened Calogero and were not disappointed! Great, put together appetizer plate, delicious skin dishes and the desserts were to melt away! Even the little ones enjoyed it. The steak was on point and the red wine sauce with it was something special. Since the renovation, the ambience has been super pleasant, like a piece of vacation, and the service has always been nice and friendly. Prices were very generous at Easter (but the bottles of wine cost me more than €20). We've been there a few more times since Easter and haven't been disappointed once, service is still perfect and always good for a laugh. Finally another restaurant that can keep up with the few good ones in Kelkheim and enriches it!

Unfortunately we were not satisfied with our visit. The pizza dough was too salty and requests for side dishes were ignored. The staff and especially the boss were very arrogant and unfriendly. We don't come here anymore... there are other restaurants that live and love customer service. Greetings from the Wetterau...

We went there for dinner with very good friends on Friday, June 7th, 2024. We were warmly welcomed by the service staff. The service was pleasant and nice. The food was delicious and plentiful, accompanied by good wines. A special thank you goes to the service staff, the kitchen and especially to Marco, Angelo and Salvatore.

Wir waren nach langer Zeit mal wieder im Calogero und waren überrascht, dass der Gastraum renoviert wurde. Sehr schön, da kann man sich wohlfühlen! Die Speisen waren, sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptgänge absolut ausreichend und haben super geschmeckt. Und dazu ein deutlich besseres Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im Vergleich zu Frankfurt. Wir werden wieder öfters kommen.

The beef fillet was very good, but the carbonara was too hot and the egg yolk flocculated, a little more guanciale would also be great. The pizza is good but unfortunately not anymore. All in all a good Italian restaurant with a great ambience and extremely nice service.

We have been guests there for well over 20 years… The emphasis is on were. Our last visit went like this: 1. it was really unbearably loud in the dining room. Between 72-76 decibels. It was hardly possible to have a nice conversation. 2. The otherwise always helpful and attentive service was anything but courteous. Our daughter-in-law wanted a pasta dish with mushroom cream sauce, which she had eaten there several times and also ordered for delivery. This time there was a big lament, oh how complicated, there would be so much to do, so an extra request... Oh well…. At least it still worked. We also wanted bruscetta as a starter: “It doesn’t exist”!! We dont have!" Aha…. 20 minutes later there was the same thing, but at the neighboring table! Bread with a salad or a starter? Or at the beginning, like in the past, a “greetings from the kitchen” nil! The portions are significantly smaller. As a side dish or decoration on the plate, a tiny piece of carrot. We asked for some parmesan cheese with the pasta dishes. The potty was so sparsely filled that it was barely enough for two dishes. With the espresso, neither a small biscuit or anything like that, as we know it everywhere. We were also not offered an Averna or anything similar. We've had enough. But you hardly eat just to fill yourself up. You can have this cheaper at home. A nice evening in a bar looks different for us. No, unfortunately nothing is right for us anymore. A pity

This evening we had dinner at CALOGERO in the converted restaurant. It was extremely loud in the guest room, making it almost impossible to have a conversation. The service is grade 4 at best. The prices of the main courses are reasonable. The drinks are too expensive. I will no longer visit the restaurant.

It was our first time in the restaurant and we always had it delivered to our home beforehand. Everything perfect. Very friendly, beautiful atmosphere and fantastic food. Definitely worth a visit.

Waren heute spontan vor dem Faschingsumzug etwas essen. Hatte aus dem Auto zuvor angerufen und man hat trotz des vielen Betriebs einen Tisch für uns gefunden. Da haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Bedienungsanleitung war sehr freundlich und flott. Wir hatten Pinsa und Salat. Alles war frisch und lecker. Wir waren zum ersten Mal, aber sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort. Wir kommen wieder.

Ordered food for the whole family. Unfortunately the quality was subpar!! Burnt bacon in the carbonara and black particles everywhere in the pasta. Schnitzels are molded schnitzels from the supermarket, dry and inedible! Salmon was swimming in an artificial sauce and was supposed to be grilled. Lettuce dried out and ready for the trash. I'm very very disappointed!

We were there on December 26th. eat there with the family. There was only a day menu, you had no option to order from the normal menu. Well, we understood that in advance because of the holidays. There was only caprese as a vegetarian starter and not a vegetarian main course. We were then offered the pasta dish with mushrooms and fillet tips for €17.50, without fillet tips. We then asked how much it would cost, to which the waiter replied, extremely annoyed and short, “€15.50”. When asked if we could just have a margarita pizza, the only answer was “no”. Only the paste would be possible. This came in a very spicy, oily tomato sauce, which was so spicy for one of the three vegetarians that she couldn't eat it. This dish was actually charged at €15.50!!!! Handful of tagliatelle from the bag, 5 slices of mushrooms and 5 half cherry tomatoes. Beef fillet is therefore worth €2.00 for the dish in this restaurant. We ate there once and never again. Definitely NOT recommended. We would give 0 points for the service if it were possible.

Grundsätzlich mögen wir das Restaurant. Nach der Renovierung ist es sehr schön geworden. Doch leider hat sich einiges nicht unbedingt zum besseren verändert... es ist ziemlich laut geworden und nicht mehr so gemütlich wie früher. Die Tische stehen teilweise sehr eng, dass man sich mit seinem Partner schlecht unterhalten kann. Auch zieht es jetzt immer kalt an den Füßen va wenn neue Gäste reinkommen. Unsere Rumpsteaks kamen nicht mit dem gewünschten Gargrad. Das Steak "durch gebraten" zu bringen sollte eigentlich nicht so schwer sein,.. wir haben es dann nochmal in die Küche bringen lassen, damit es weiter gebraten wird, als der Kellner mit dem Teller wieder kam, sah das Fleisch genauso weit gegart aus wie vorher, also leider immer noch roh in der Mitte und nicht so wie wir es wollten... Leider hatten wir auch nicht übereinstimmende Preise der Speisekarte mit der späteren Rechnung. Kann ja Mal passieren, wenn alles neu ist, allerdings sollte man dann als Restaurant nicht auf sein Recht pochen und den Gast als doof hinstellen, wenn man darauf hinweist....leider sehr sehr schade... Wir werden uns wohl einen neuen Stamm-Italiener suchen müssen.
