Currywurst House in Berlin

It's sad that in a cosmopolitan city you can't get currywurst etc. at 11:40 p.m. because it was already closed, but the lady still had 4 sausages on the grill. Rude, immediately waved away when we asked politely through the door slot. Were 4 men....NEVER AGAIN...

The blond lady’s behaviour was unacceptable. At first I ordered a currywurst asking for honey mustard sauce. She said yes and then she added normal mustard. When I went back to tell her kindly that there has been a mistake, she said that she can only replace my sauce only if i paid extra. When I denied she furiously grabbed the plate from my hands and gave my the money. Just a disclaimer what she does is also illegal as from the very beginning she declares that there is no possibility to pay with card. We paid cash and she never gave a receipt. Be careful. Also the currywurst did NOT have a curry sauce. Only curry powder on the top. The sauce was simply ketchup with curry powder on the top.

We ate at the Currywurst House during our stay in Germany and were really impressed by the welcome! The staff was super kind and understanding, even though we were foreigners (we are Italian). They were really calm and relaxed, immediately putting us at ease. And the food? Optimal! Tasty currywurst and generous portions. We recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal in a friendly, stress-free environment.

Comimos allí de froma improvisada y la experiencia no pudo ser mejor. Que no disuada el hecho de comer en una terraza, en la calle. Merece la pena aunque haga un poco de frío. Las salchicas son una delicia, la salsa picante (si gusta) de lo mejor que he probado, y los empleados muy majos. Nos atendió un chico moreno y fue amabilísimo y muy cortés (lástima no saber su nombre), incluso nos despidió en castellano. No te lo pierdas si andas por la puerta de Brandenburgo ;)

Sporty prizes that give us hope for something great, so we were excited.. The order was placed by a rather listless lady. In 2024, payment will still only be in cash, which is quite steep given the prices. The sausage tastes very good and the fries were super fresh and had a lot of sauce. For my taste, the fries could have stayed in the oil for a moment longer and the sausage without the casing, but that's a matter of taste. As in all malls, you are of course sitting in the middle of many others, so it is of course loud and uncomfortable.

Currywurst? Probably not. Sausage with a few fries for €7.50 with a little ketchup and curry powder on top doesn't make a sausage a currywurst. Really disappointing and of course only possible to pay in cash. No recommendation.

I don't discuss the food because since it is typical I wanted to try it. But about the friendliness of the staff I have to say, they gave me a plate without a fork, a gentleman asked for a tray because he couldn't carry everything and was refused... finally in 2024 in the mall so you still ask me for cash !!!

Currywurst came with quite a bit of sauce. Neither the sausage nor the sauce were convincing; I've actually eaten better currywurst in Berlin. Rather average, wouldn't go there again.

I am absolutely thrilled with my visit here. Not only are the shopping opportunities great, but the services such as free WiFi and cell phone charging stations are also super practical. Einmal die Woche muss die Currywurst (scharf) mindestens sein. Wurst ist Klasse, Sauce ist perfekt. Ich kenne keine bessere Currywurst.

Meine erste Anlaufstelle nach Feierabend, ich besuche das Currywurst House sehr oft und finde die Bedienung auch sehr gut. Die Preise sind für Berliner Verhältnisse völlig normal und Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt es auch.

Der Pommes war sehr köstlich und die Currywurst finde ich einfach genial! Die hausgemachte Soße hat mir sehr geschmeckt. Ich gönne mir hier immer wieder mal eine Pause und lasse mich verwöhnen!

Das Essen ist immer frisch und schnell zubereitet. Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Danke.

Es ist eben ein Schnellimbiss, aber keine original Currywurst. Die ist hier ohne Darm und ein wenig Ketchup und Curry ist kein Hausrezept. Mir war es zuwider.

I left because the service worker was rude and seemed annoyed and a bit dismissive by me asking if it is celiac safe saying ‘’I don’t know’’ ‘’it might have traces’’ ‘’the sausages are gluten free’’ and annoyed by any other question I had. Why even bother advertising as gluten free if you don’t even know? And I can see other celiacs have written similar things about this place. Let me just tell you, it is annoying for US as celiacs to have to ask places all the time. Travelling Europe I have found it a bit challenging finding options in some cities. But it’s also the same in my home country too, just a struggle we have as celiacs. It’s a serious condition eating gluten and eating even just traces is like giving us severe food poisoning. I accidentally ate gluten once on this trip already and couldn’t do anything for 2 days. Have some patience with us and be polite, and know what’s safe for celiacs if you’re advertising gluten free, otherwise remove the gluten free signs. it’s the bare minimum. Glad I trusted my gut and didn’t eat here.

As rude as can be. Unsafe for coeliacs don't be fooled by the Gluten free sign as they are ignorant about this condition and the health risks involved in tricking people. Not even an apology. Crazy.

Terrible currywurst. Sausage tasted and looked like it had been on the hot plate for a couple of days. No change given on cash transaction. At least the beer was cold!

Sehr leckere Currywurst, vom Preis her gut, leider sind die dort vorhandenen Sitzmöglichkeiten begrenzt. Das variiert je nach Uhrzeit, aber ansonsten auf die Hand. Gerne wieder!

Bedienung recht lustlos hinter dem Tresen. Beim Warten auf die Pommes greift sie des öfteren in die Pommesschale und tunkt sie in Ketschup, um sie dann zu essen. Danach werden die Finger abgeleckt, aber keine Hände gewaschen. Ich hatte dann zu Hause Magen-Darm. Erster und letzter Besuch in diesem Restaurant.

Quick, easy, delicious currywurst

Wirklich eine sehr schlechte Currywurst. Die Currywurst schmeckt eher nach einer Bockwurst und wird nur zusammen mit etwas gewöhnlichen Ketchup und ein bisschen Currypulver oben drauf serviert. Das kann man keine Currywurst nennen. Dort zu essen, war eine Entscheidung, die ich wirklich bereue. Zudem ist das Personal etwas unfreundlich und es werden während der Zubereitung Ringe getragen. Die natürlich aus hygienischen Gründen nicht getragen werden sollten!

Quantité insuffisante contrairement au sel et à l’huile ! Venait seulement si vous aimez le ketchup.

Pour avoir tester le currywurst, je n'ai vraiment pas aimé. Les saucisse et les frites sont baignés dans l'huile grasse. Je ne le vous conseille pas du tout. Au revoir et très bonne journée à vous.

Wirklich schlechte Currywurst (scheint eine Bockwurst zu sein). Und dazu schlecht gewürzte noch halb rohe Pommes. Das Alles wird auf einem Pappteller serviert. Nie wieder.

Die Currywurst hat sehr gut geschmeckt, die Pommes aber weniger. Das Personal war freundlich. Meistens ist im Foodcourt viel los sodass man eventuell keinen Platz zum Essen findet.

Molto ketchup e poca salsiccia a 4,90 eu. Sono stato in questo posto per provare la Currywurst, ma dopo aver assaggiato non ne sono uscito soddisfatto. Non lo consiglio, meglio provare qualcosa di più autentico e forse anche un po'meno ketchup sulla salsiccia. Non accettano pagamenti con la carta ma solo contanti 🙌🤔

Cette enseigne se trouve au deuxième étage du centre commercial. L'accueil est sympathique et il faut faire un choix entre plusieurs formules concernant les traditionnelles "currywurst" allemandes. Nous avons opté pour la formule dans laquelle nous avons eu droit à deux saucisses, des frites et une boisson pour 12.60 €. La saucisses était plutôt bonne, recouverte de curry et de ketchup. Les frites étaient bonnes aussi, pas trop salées. Il y a des tables sur lesquelles on peut s'asseoir pour déguster les saucisses, il ne faut pas être trop regardant sur la propreté néanmoins. Les tables ne sont pas uniquement réservées à cette chaine de fast-food, n'importe qui peut s'y asseoir et manger. Service un peu long mais il n'y avait qu'une seule serveuse qui devait tout faire. La serveuse était cependant très sympathique et souriante. Attention paiement en cash uniquement.

Das Currywurst House befindet sich im 2. OG des Einkaufszentrums. Ich musste zwar erst kurz danach suchen, allerdings ist die Currywurst inkl. Pommes wirklich gut. 6,5€ ist preislich finde ich okay. Da habe ich schon weitaus mehr gezahlt anderswo. Die Bedienung am 26.11.22. abends war zudem auch sehr nett. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen!

Das Currywurst House ist mein Favorit in Berlin, hier bekommt man einen guten Service und auch die Preise sind völlig ok. Die Currywurst wird schön knackig und frisch zubereitet und die Pommes schön knusprig.

Das Essen ist sehr preiswert und qualitativ hochwertig. Das Personal ist gewissenhaft und erfahren.

Ein sehr ansprechender Laden mit herzlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Die Pommes werden frisch gemacht mit Soßen nach Wahl und die Wurst schmeckt wunderbar. Mir wurden dazu noch Röstzwiebeln angeboten- einfach lecker dazu. Große Empfehlung für Currywurst- Liebhaber.

Leider hat die Qualität nachgelassen. Vor 1 Jahr hatten wir hier eine gute Currywurst gegessen. Bei unserem Besuch in diesem Jahr war leider die Currywurst geschmacklich nicht mehr so gut. Auch war der Andrang an dieser Imbissbude nicht mehr da. Keine Kunden vor uns, obwohl am Samstag das Stockwerk mit den Essensständen voll besucht war. Schade.

Die Portionsgröße ist ein schlechter Witz. Tiefkühlpommes mit Wurst die dort seit mehreren Stunden zu liegen scheint... Die Preise sind absolut nicht gerechtfertigt.

Geschmacklich eigentlich ok (mehr aber auch nicht), aber leider war die Wurst nur lauwarm und die Portion sehr klein. Definitiv keine 8,60€ wert. Schade...

Leckere Currywurst, gibt aber bessere

Herbe Enttäuschung. Wurst solala, die Sauce war nur viel zu süsses Ketchup ohne Curry, nur etwas Currypulver obendrauf. Sollte man nicht Currywurst nennen. Pommes waren dafür ganz gut. In einem Einkaufszentrum in einer Grossstadt erwarte ich ausserdem, dass man mit Karte zahlen kann. Auch die Abwicklung war Steinzeitlich, handgeschriebene Zettel, kein Tablet für grössere Bestellungen. Alles zusammen war eine schreckliche Erfahrung.

La comida no está mal la verdad, buena calidad precio. El servicio es nefasto, la chica y el señor mayor no fueron amables. Pedí la comida para llevar y el señor me dio la comida en un plato y cuando le vuelvo a decir que es para llevar me miró con mala cara, cogió el plato y lo envolvió en papel de aluminio y listo. La chica me dijo si quería mayonesa en las patatas le dije que si, y no me la pusieron. No dejan pagar con tarjeta y no dan ticket de compra. No volveré, hay muchos más y mejores

Für klassische Currywurst und Pommes perfekt. Leider will das Management der Mal wohl kein Geld für Reinigungspersonal ausgeben. Die Sauberkeit im Foodbereich lässt zu wünschen übrig.
