Culinarium in Bad Kreuznach

We had a delicious salad with chicken. Admittedly, €17.80 is quite a price. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat a whole third of it and asked for the rest to be wrapped. The young man replied that they didn't wrap anything and that they didn't have anything to wrap it in. I asked him to check if there was a piece of aluminum foil in the kitchen. After a few minutes, he came back and said that there was only one piece of aluminum foil. I said that was enough for me. Then it took another few minutes. Then a woman appeared and, without comment, threw an empty ice cream cone onto my table...that kind of behavior is "absolutely unacceptable"!! If you want to be so refined that wrapping leftovers isn't an option (which is certainly common practice even in fine dining these days), the staff's behavior should be...

We were at the Bäderhaus again yesterday. And we also ate at the Culinarium. We each had a salad plate with chicken fillet. The salad was freshly prepared and tasted great. Furthermore, the chicken, although deep-fried, didn't taste or smell of "old" fat like so often in other restaurants; it was still piping hot, served on the salad. For dessert, we treated ourselves to a Kaiserschmarrn. What can I say? It topped it all off. Freshly made with cherries and ice cream. Simply fantastic. I'd like to emphasize the friendly service. Special requests were accepted without grumbling or argument. There was still time for a pleasant conversation later on. Keep it up!

I've rarely experienced such unfriendly service as I did with the lady behind the counter on November 1, 2024. The value for money is debatable, but the friendliness is not.

With such a big name you actually expect something special. However, the only big disappointment was. Food of mediocre quality and quite disappointing taste at completely overpriced prices. On the first visit, neither the kitchen nor the service gave the impression that they had any gastronomic experience. On the second visit the service was much more professional. But even if you just limit yourself to something to drink, it's no fun at these exorbitant prices.

We were back at the Bäderhaus today after about a year. Unfortunately, I was a bit shocked by the current prices in the restaurant. A tuna salad for €17.80 in that size is pretty steep! Sadly, we always enjoyed eating there.

The ravioli with goat's cheese and tomato sauce was a dream! The portion could have been a bit larger. Very friendly service.

Friendly service and delicious food. The menu selection is limited, but it was absolutely sufficient for us. The selection is varied, so I think everyone should find something 😊 I found the portions a bit small for the price. Overall, though, I recommend it.

Nice restaurant in the Bäderhaus Bad Kreuznach. The service was attentive and very friendly. Prices are like everywhere else these days, but not overpriced. We had turkey on rice with curry and a turkey breast salad. Both were very tasty, and the bread served with the salad was still crispy in the evening. The menu is small, but well-chosen. If you just want greasy fries and defrosted tarte flambée, you might be better off going to the municipal indoor swimming pool and considering whether the Bäderhaus is the right place for you. Or at least find out what's on offer before awarding a star. But that seems to be too much for some people.

Finally a thermal spa restaurant where it doesn't just smell like fried food... great selection, great taste, friendly and competent service. I've never felt as comfortable in a sauna restaurant as I do here! For me, that's a main reason to visit the bath house again and again !

Went to the Bäderhaus in the said restaurant today. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything on the map. So you shouldn't expect normal things like fries or tarte flambée... Instead, there are more culinary dishes that I don't like at all. No sweet wine available which I find very sad if you live in a wine town. A light home-style meal wouldn't be a bad idea. Don't even get me started on the prices.

The food matches the bathhouse. Terrific! Fresh ingredients, quality and appearance are very important here. There are local wines to match the food. The prices are appropriate and appropriate given the environment and the quality. The service was very friendly. You are served and everything is cleared away - I know it differently from some other sauna restaurants. There is also coffee and cake (looks homemade). A great addition to the bath house!
