Eating simply brilliant... Actually too much, but you still have a few days of it😅 Price/performance perfect. The landlady and staff are simply lovely and attentive.

It's just a shame that there is no longer a smoking area.

If you like to eat a lot, you've come to the right place. Nobody has to leave hungry. This time I had the rump steak 600g and I have to say it was a dream, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

We were there spontaneously and got a nice place after a quick call. The service is great, very friendly and fast!!! The schnitzels are large 259g, if you want a 600g. The breading meant too well. These taste quite good but with room for improvement The salad from the buffet is very tasty. Conclusion: if you are very hungry, it is recommended 😀

This was my first time eating here and I was really surprised. ALL the employees turned to us and smiled, everyone was friendly and nice. We were served quickly, it was very friendly and attentive. However, everyone should be careful!!! The portions are really huge! Even a salad plate is almost two portions! So bring hunger with you, because you're almost bursting here...

The food here is very good. Regardless of whether it's schnitzel or rump steak (medium), it always tastes very good. The service was super friendly and absolutely on the ball. Despite the fact that it was quite full, we didn't even have to wait 10 minutes for our drinks and less than an hour passed before the main course. The portions are absolutely great for the price. Price performance gets a very good 1 here.

We decided to spend our Christmas dinner at Crazy Horse in Frankenthal, but unfortunately we were disappointed. As soon as we arrived, it was clear that the staff was stressed and overwhelmed - probably due to the high number of people on the holidays. Unfortunately, this lasted the entire day. The waiting times were exceptionally long and although we understood the situation, it was still annoying that some of our orders were either forgotten or only brought after repeated requests. This really spoiled the atmosphere of the day. The food itself was okay, but nothing more. One had the feeling that the emphasis here was on quantity rather than quality. The dishes were neither particularly refined nor outstanding in terms of taste – simply average. Especially on a special occasion like Christmas, we wanted a higher quality preparation and presentation. In summary, it was a mixed experience: The ambience was nice and the selection on the menu was varied, but the stressed service, the long waiting times and the lack of attention to detail in the food clearly marred the evening. Crazy Horse might be fine for a normal evening, but we wouldn't recommend it for special occasions.

A child's chair was taken away from a three-year-old child, saying she could sit on a normal chair, even though that chair was reserved, as it said in the book. Of course, the child's enthusiasm wasn't very great after the event. Unfortunately the schnitzels were also very dry.

Following in the footsteps of my childhood, I unfortunately found a sad riding stable with questionable food. Only mass, no class. Sauces and flavor enhancers. Friction operation at zero. It's a shame, my fond memories of food and riding are gone in one fell swoop. Unfortunately the recession was erased, so again after years...

It was a complete impudence not to pack the fries. I don't care if a lot of people don't eat warmed fries. My friend and I would have eaten them and expect them to be included or to be asked. Since this wasn't the case, we unfortunately won't be coming back! We paid for our food and gave a tip, but half of our food was thrown away 😡 Mess!!!!

Plenty, delicious... super nice service. Highly recommended! Addition: After almost exactly 8 years we were there again today and it is still incredibly tasty, good selection, full plates (hardly possible), nice service and a nightcap with ümmesöß (as the people from the Lower Rhine say).

Great price-performance ratio. The ambience just takes some getting used to. You just can't expect too much. There are flies flying around and the seating is very plain and simple, almost boring and ancient.

It's actually a little different here than in other restaurants. The rustic ambience matches the directly adjacent riding club. From some tables you can look directly into the riding arena, while at other tables you can let your gaze wander over the directly adjacent fields. The complex is integrated into a quiet residential area and there is always a parking space in public areas. Of course it can happen that you have to run 100 meters, but that's complaining at a high level. The service is always nice, prompt and helpful. If there may be waiting times during peak times, we were always informed of this before ordering. The portions are generally huge and we usually take leftovers of our food with us. The menu also has a lot to offer for vegetarians. I think it's great that you can pop into the kitchen from time to time and, if time permits, talk to the chef. By the way: I have never discovered ready-made sauces in the kitchen! On the contrary: sauces are boiled down here for hours, i.e. they are made in-house. And in general, emphasis is placed on freshness and quality. There is a self-service counter for side salads. It's always well-stocked and the dressings are very creative and certainly not mainstream. And to all the bad reviewers: did you ever try to have a conversation before leaving the restaurant disappointed? Things didn't go so smoothly for us either, but a customer-oriented solution was always found!!! And yes, you can only pay in cash here. This is clearly visible right at the entrance and written down on the homepage.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sind wir zum Abendessen ins Crazy Horse, leider konnten wir die guten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nach vollziehen. Hatten 2mal Schnitzel ( Deutschland und Ungarnschnitzel) mit Pommes und Salat und einmal Lendenspieß Schweizer Art mit Kroketten. Die Portionen sind sehr groß, aber was nutzt das wenn es nicht schmeckt, die Schnitzel waren aus der Friteuse und am Rand knochenhart, der Lendenspieß war sehr trocken, lediglich die Pommes und Kroketten sowie der Beilagensalat waren in Ordnung. Fazit: Einmal und nicht wieder.

The atmosphere had something of a snack bar. The tables were not wiped down. RUMP STEAK was delivered almost well done without asking first... The fries were very over-seasoned and the braised onions were more like soup vegetables... Unfortunately, all in all, even if the portion size was really good for the price, the taste was general very unsatisfactory... On the tarte flambée, the "bacon" (probably raw ham cubes) was still completely raw. Unfortunately, the salad also left a lot to be desired, not to mention the hair in the food... The really best thing was the service, they were friendly... But that's it... Unfortunately, I absolutely don't recommend it...

All respect, for a riding club restaurant, my respect. Service staff tried very hard, attentive, fast, nice. Portions very generous, and slowly a direct hit. I had pork medallions in cognac sauce with fries, they were really hot, the meat was on point, the sauce tasted great. I haven't eaten something so tasty in a long time. Sunday lunchtime with reservation. no problems. We will come back. Thank you very much, dear Crazy Horse team.

Totally overcrowded. Hard to find a parking space nearby. Way too many dogs on site when we were there. Had to eat outside in the awning, there were all the smokers there too... You won't find anything made from poultry meat on the menu. We were "forgotten" twice and after the first drinks and food no one looked after us anymore... So we don't have to go there anymore, there are better things...

You get a lot for your money here and the taste is also top notch. Good salad buffet. Something for everyone. The service staff is also very courteous and attentive. Had a lovely evening.

It's been a while since we were there and I actually didn't want to comment on it, along the lines of: If you don't have anything nice to say, you should keep your mouth shut. But our visit there was not very pleasant for us. There doesn't seem to be any parking, we parked in a residential area. The room we sat in was, some would say rustic or quaint or snack bar. We had reserved for 10 people, but not everyone could fit at the table. We were told not to act like that, as more people would normally fit at the table. As an alternative, we were offered a tent with heating pads. When we were already thinking about leaving, a small table was set up and one person was already gone. In any case, the mood was bad, due to the still cramped situation. The food was quite good so far, the portions were generous, but we'll see if we'll do it again.

Riesige leckere Portionen, freundliche Bedienung

Wir waren mit der Familie am 25.12 dort das erste mal Essen . Das Essen war super lecker die Portionen sind vom Preis unschlagbar. Der Service war sehr schnell und sehr freundlich und das obwohl das Lokal komplett ausgebucht war. Hier sollte man auf jedenfall mal Essen gehen!! Aber Vorsicht das XL Schnitzel ist ehr ein xxxl Schnitzel. Wir werden hier jetzt öfter essen gehen .

Wir werden auf jeden Fall, mit Bekannten, die gerne Essen, wieder kommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist am Reitverein und für mich auch gemütlich.

Wir waren in Rahmen eines Treffens unter Kollegen dort. Das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Die Bedienung hat sich fortlaufend und immer freundlich um uns gekümmert. Die Anfahrt mit dem Fahrrad war problemlos. Fahrradständer waren allerdings nicht vorhanden zum Anschließen und die Autofahrer meinten der Parkplatz war recht voll. Aber das war kein Problem bei der ruhigen Lage. Die Portionenn waren alle samt üppig und preislich in Ordnung. Die Qualität war auf den Punkt, was die vielen fantastischen Bewertungen erklärt. Man kann wählen zwischen normalen und großen Portionen. Wenn man etwas nicht schafft kann man es sich einpacken lassen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Meine Arbeit hat hier die Weihnachtsfeier gefeiert und es war sehr schön ☺️ die Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker!

Traditionell waren wir zum Gansessen im Crazy Horse. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die leckere Gänsebrust (Vorbestellung notwendig) wurde mit leckerem Rotkohl, 3 Knödel, Kastanien und sämiger Soße serviert. Zum Abschluss gab's einen Ramazzott. Rundum zufrieden und gesättigt ging es dann anschließend wieder nach Hause. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen, extrem freundliches Personal und generell eine sehr ansehliche Innenausstattung und Dekoration. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Super leckeres Essen. Das Rumpsteak war exakt Medium gebraten, schön rosa in der Mitte. Die Portionen sind groß, können auch eingepackt werden. Für ca. 3€ mehr beim schnitzel bekommt man fast die doppelte Größe, einfach riesig. Auch für die Kinder was dabei - haben uns für ein schnitzel mit räuberteller entschieden - es war genug für alle da. Super fairen Preise! Kommen gerne wieder

Der Gesamte Service war sehr nett, sympathisch und aufmerksam. Die Portionen sind gigantisch. Ehrlich muss man sagen, entweder man teilt sich ein Schnitzel oder man kalkuliert schon damit sich die Reste einzupacken. Ich habe mein Schnitzel verputzt :-) Wir hatten jeweils ein Schnitzel. Eines mit Jäger- und eines mit Zigeunersoße. Beide Soßen war grundsätzlich sehr lecker und die Jägersoße mit frischen Champignons. Die Zigeunersoße war relativ salzig. Mit der Kritik wurde super umgegangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen, riesige Portion. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Im Crazy Horse sieht man, dass riesige Portionen trotzdem sehr gut schmecken können. Eine Mitnahme von übrig gebliebenen Essen ist hier selbstverständlich.
