I ate here with a good friend. He also ordered for me, as he'd been here several times. We both opted for 300g of lamb loin – he with sweet potatoes, I with fries and a side salad. The ambiance outside was pleasant, rather simply decorated, but inside it was rustic and somewhat reminiscent of a tavern. What's special here: The lamb loin is served on a hot granite slab. This allows you to choose the degree of doneness and sear the meat to your liking. The lamb loin was excellent and very tasty. The fries were okay, but the sweet potatoes were particularly good – not too sweet and very flavorful. The salad was fresh, but with a bit too much dressing. Overall, a very delicious experience and a definite recommendation!

I know the owner very well, but my review has nothing to do with that. The meat has been consistently high quality for over seven years – ever since my first visit. Everything tastes great, and the Kaiserschmarrn at the end is simply indescribably good!

We had booked a table for 5 people and unfortunately got a table where there was barely enough room for everyone except the person sitting at the head of the table. The backs of the chairs were already pressing against the backs of the people at the next table, even though our stomachs were already stuck to the table. Well, I looked at the menu first. At the neighboring tables you could see these hot stones everywhere, which are probably the main reason most guests come here. The meat we got was pretty good, although we had to cut away quite a lot. The schnitzel at our table was a bit lacking in seasoning and the crab didn't taste the way crab should. Otherwise it was good, and the dessert was delicious. Next time we'll come here when it's not so busy so we can maybe sit at a table with benches. So close to Christmas it's obviously pretty crowded.

Everyone was great except one waiter that was rude to my daughter not sure what was his problem. But Everyone else was great and delicious food and drinks.

Great concept! At this steakhouse, you cook your own steak. The meat was of excellent quality, especially the fillet steak, which was tender as butter and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and rounded off the whole meal perfectly. Something different and definitely an experience – we'd love to come back!

Very nice place, good meat and great appetizers. I had grilled vegetables as an appetizer that were cooked very well and therefore tasty. The meat was spicy and you can cook it on the grill, as a side dish a baked potato with sour cream, really good and worth trying. It's worth stopping by

Expensive, disgusting location, 70s style. Of course, it reeked of braised meat everywhere. No ventilation. Poor outdoor area, right on the street. Nothing is really nice! Long wait for the food. Steaks were good and small, but was the weight correct? No, first and last time! We were there on a weekday.

This is the most impressive steak I have ever eaten. You can decide the doneness of the iron plate yourself. The beef is delicious and has no fishy smell. I add some extra mushrooms and potato cubes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This steak restaurant was about a 3-minute walk from the hotel where I was staying, so I stopped in. The meat was tender and had no unpleasant odor. It was served on a hot stone plate. The prices were also very reasonable, and I would recommend this steak restaurant enough to make me want to come here every week! This was my second visit! I had 200 grams of fillet steak again today. The onion soup was also piping hot and delicious♡

Very, very tasty... Grilled on the hot stone: -Pork medallions -Beef rump -Rump steak tips Each served with garlic dip, chili dip, and herb butter. The meat was amazing. We also had a cordon bleu filled with just cheese. For dessert, we had a strawberry sundae and a Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancake). We'll be back.

All the steaks cooked on a hot stone are incredibly delicious. It does leave your clothes smelling like a barbecue afterward, though. The taste experience more than makes up for it.

Wer nicht grillen möchte, kann auch ein normales Tellergericht bestellen. Die Fleischqualität und alle Beilagen sind top. Man kann das Restaurant wirklich nur empfehlen. Es ist eines der besten Restaurants, das wir kennen. Die Einrichtung ist etwas altmodisch. Das ist uns egal weil nur das zählt, was man zu essen bekommt.

The restaurant has one clear highlight: the opportunity to grill your own meat on lava rock. The meat selection is good, and the meat looks high-quality and tastes very good too. The side dishes range from super delicious (baked potato) to meh (side salad). To be fair, it's not a place for salad, but I wouldn't order it again. The food is beautifully presented, and the service is usually prompt and always friendly. Due to the restaurant's concept, it alternates between smoky and cool inside during the colder months, so they could perhaps think of something better – but I would still recommend the restaurant anytime. The prices are completely reasonable for what you get.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The meat is served raw on a sizzling hot stone, allowing you to cook it to your exact preference. This was perfect for me, as I prefer my beef extra rare, but the meat continues to cook on the stone, making it more well-done and tender later on. You get to experience the full spectrum, from ultra-rare to well-done, and every variation was delicious! Note that the steak prices don't include sides, so I recommend ordering a side of salad and potatoes. While there are 200g and 300g options, I'd highly recommend the 300g portion.

Wir sind absolut begeistert, das Fleisch ist absolut top Qualität. Das Essen hat etwas natürliches ähnlich wie bei einem Survival Trip. Das Fleisch kann sich jeder selbst auf einen heißen Stein braten, es ist leicht gewürzt und zergeht im Mund wenn man weiß wie man ein Stück Fleisch zubereitet.

For me the best price-performance ratio in the Frankfurt area when it comes to steak. If you want to eat cheap steak and also want good quality, go here. Cooking lava offers an additional vibe. Nice old fashioned rustic decor with nice staff. Of course you can't get Wagyu here, but you can get everything your heart desires.

Nostalgic with items such as snails, Jäger-schnitzel and Kaiserschmarren. I had a filet, on my brother-in-law's recommendation. The quality of the beef fillet was quite good, tender and tasty. Roasting on a hot stone is a special experience in which you can prepare your meat exactly to your own taste. If you want to fry it to death, ok, no one is laughing! The 2 sauces (garlic and a kind of cocktail) and also the herb butter were okay, but nothing great and also a bit small. It lacked some sophistication and a piece of fresh bread as a side dish would have rounded the whole thing off. My wedges came from the freezer but were served in a generous portion. By the way, the others had fried potatoes. Ambience & furnishings The style of the restaurant is more reminiscent of a classic village pub, which may appeal to some, but overall it doesn't exude much charm. The table decoration was shockingly bland; and the pictures of the desserts stuck on the table seem cheap and unnecessary. Unfortunately, the entrance to the restaurant was not barrier-free, which can be problematic for guests with limited mobility. service The service was quick, friendly and attentive - no criticism here. The waiters looked after us well and were always there without being intrusive. Conclusion Corner Steakhouse offers a nostalgic experience with the hot stone and a solid sirloin. Compared to perfectly grilled steaks, for example in the Beef Club, Berlin or even at Blockhouse, the Corner is more regional/district class. There is definitely more here. Unfortunately, the overall picture falls short of expectations: the ambience seems old-fashioned and there is a lack of fine-tuning in the details. It's fine for a relaxed evening in a rustic atmosphere, but if you value modern furnishings and thoughtful presentation, you might be disappointed and of course there's still room for improvement when it comes to meat. With 5 people, €250 is a pound, but the shop was still packed, so you should definitely make a reservation.

I have been to this restaurant many times. But this time I felt so bad that I took my 8 month old baby out to eat. I have to change the baby's diaper. The restaurant does not offer a baby room. I had no choice but to leave the baby on the sofa “dining bench” and change his diaper. But the restaurant owner didn't allow me to do this, He asked me to go to the toilet.but the toilet is very small and there is no place for the baby to lie down. Did he want my baby on the toilet floor? However, I find that the backrest of the sofa can block other people's view and it is impossible to affect others. I think it's ridiculous that babies aren't allowed to change diapers in restaurants! Maybe because I'm not German, the restaurant owner is unfriendly. I will never go to this restaurant again. We visit the steakhouse regularly and are usually very satisfied with the food. The hot stone concept is a really great idea and offers a special way to prepare the steak yourself. Unfortunately, the service from the boss and his team leaves a lot to be desired. It's disappointing when the boss rolls his eyes in annoyance when asked questions while ordering. The hot stone is then simply slammed onto the table, without any consideration for the guest. Even when clearing up, we had the feeling that the guest was more of a nuisance than welcome. The boss should understand that gastronomy does not only mean good food, but above all also hospitality. After this experience, we first need a longer break to digest what we have experienced.

This is literally the best steak you’ll ever have in your life—and I’ve eaten Kobe beef in Japan! The garlic tips, in particular, are a must-try. Trust me, they’re perfectly marinated and cut into the ideal bite-sized chunks for grilling on your 1000-degree Fahrenheit lava rock. The French onion soup? Absolutely phenomenal! I’ve compared every French onion soup I’ve had since to this one, and none come close. The cheese on top is to die for! And merci beaucoup und vielen Dank for the best croquettes I’ve ever tasted!

Ich bewerte das Steak nicht…ein Stück Fleisch halt.. roh. Tolle Idee, weil die Gäste sich nicht beschweren können dass es zu Medium oder zu englisch ist.. aber der Geruch im Essbereich ist so stark dass meine Kleider auch nächsten Tag nach Rauch gerochen haben. Die Dips dazu sind Fertigprodukte. Die Beilagen sind Tiefkühlwaren. Das kann man nur mit einem Stern bewerten.

Das Restaurant befindet sich in kleiner Stadt und ist echt altmodisch (nicht rustikal sondern alt), die Beilagen sind wie in jedem Fastfood und Atmosphäre ist wir in der Kneipe. Das stört aber nicht dem Personal überheblich zu sein.. Wahrscheinlich haben sie eigene Wahrnehmung und denken dass sie was besonderes sind (???) Echt lächerlich.

I don't like the concept. I wanted to try it out, but simply receiving raw meat that I should “roast” myself cannot be judged. I “cook” myself! The side dishes are frozen goods (fries/croquettes…) so they're not much of an art either. Ambiance is weird. It's a small town and I think the majority of the good reviews come from friends. Eating well is something else.

Here the meat is served raw on a hot stone and you have to prepare it yourself. What I didn't like was that the meat had to remain on the stone until the end of the meal because there was no extra plate for it.
