Meine Frau und ich waren heute zum Abendessen im Comidas und sind begeistert. Wir hatten die vegane Flauta, die Enchilada Pulled Chicken sowie die Wedges – alle Gerichte waren hervorragend zubereitet, geschmacklich ausgezeichnet und sehr ansprechend serviert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen Service. Die Bedienung war außergewöhnlich nett, aufmerksam und stets darum bemüht, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Das gesamte Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein und hat unseren Abend perfekt abgerundet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Ich komme aus Houston und kenne mich mit gutem mexikanischem Essen aus. Das war eine wirklich angenehme Überraschung in Deutschland! Meine Margaritas waren stark und meine Enchiladas Carnitas waren fantastisch. Wenn ihr mexikanisches Essen vermisst, ist das hier eine super Adresse. Bitte beachtet, dass es nicht authentisch ist, aber für ein Restaurant in Deutschland trotzdem sehr lecker. Es stillt definitiv den Heißhunger auf mexikanisches Essen, aber erwartet bitte keine authentische mexikanische Küche.

Service und Atmosphäre waren wunderbar, aber… Wäre es für einen Amerikaner überraschend zu erfahren, dass das Geschmacklichste auf meinem Teller die Doritos in meinem Taco waren? Ja… Der „Taco“ war eine harte Schale, wie man sie in jedem Walmart in El Paso bekommt und die man in einem mexikanischen Restaurant nie finden würde. Das Hähnchen schmeckte, als wäre es in Tomatensaft gekocht und einfach so in meiner Taco-Schale serviert worden, sonst nichts. Auf dem Foto sieht man, wie das Essen aussieht, und glaubt mir, es schmeckt genauso. Ja, Deutschland ist nicht gerade für scharfes Essen bekannt, das wissen wir, und das ist auch okay, aber gar kein Geschmack ist einfach nur Wahnsinn. Tut mir leid, aber jeder Hobbykoch, der ohne Vorkenntnisse ein Hähnchen-Taco zubereiten soll, kann da etwas Besseres hinbekommen.

Das Personal ist cool, mir gefällt der Laden.

Eine super nette Bedienung, die uns auch Ratschläge bei der Essenswahl gab. Freute sich riesig über meine Bestellung von einem Cocktail. Da ist der Abend gleich noch schöner, wenn die Bedienung gut drauf ist. Weiter so.

Gerne — sachlich und nicht beleidigend: Leider war unser Besuch enttäuschend. Wir waren inzwischen zweimal dort und konnten beide Male weder vom Essen noch vom Service überzeugt werden. Aus unserer Sicht gibt es in beiden Bereichen deutlichen Verbesserungsbedarf. Da die vielen positiven Bewertungen nicht zu unseren Erfahrungen passen, möchten wir hier eine möglichst realistische Einschätzung abgeben. Für uns persönlich leider keine Empfehlung.

Gutes Essen, hätte nur heißer sein können und etwas zeitgleicher am Tisch wäre schön gewesen. Ansonsten kommen wir gerne wieder.

Waren zum ersten mal dort. Service ist super freundlich und kompetent. Essen war uns jetzt nicht mexikanisch genug. Ambiente ist sauber und ordentlich nur musikalisch auch nicht mexikanisch genug. Sonst top. Geschmaklich war es demnoch lecker nur eben zu europäisch. Vielleicht könnte man ein paar Gerichte traditioneller halten. So für die Mexico Fans oder so.

Leckeres Essen aber lange Wartezeit

Wir hatten Glück noch einen Platz für 2 reservieren zu können. Reservierung ist hier komplett empfohlen, da sonst kaum Platz zu finden ist. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Wartezeit zur Bestellung war etwas länger, da aber wie gesagt die Bude voll war, vollkommen nachvollziehbar. Getränke und Essen kamen dann recht schnell. Essen war sehr gut, preislich Mittelmaß! Ambiente sehr mexikanisch und wie man es auch erwartet immer ein bisschen drüber. Das meine ich aber positiv. Service war immer sehr freundlich, obwohl sehr viele Leute da waren.

Sehr nette Arbeiter, helfen und beraten auch wunderbar. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und im Allgemeinen kann man einen sehr schönen Abend dort verbringen. Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach auch vollkommen in Ordnung.

Ich war mit meinem Kumpel zum Essen dort. Die Bedienung kam schnell auf uns zu und hat unsere Bestellung aufgenommen. Das Essen war echt sehr schnell auf unserem Tisch und hat wirklich unfassbar gut geschmeckt! Die Bedienung war auch sehr nett zu uns. Ich kann jedem einen Besuch ans Herz legen! Schon bei der Reservierung war mir klar, das wird ein wunderschöner Abend. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Ich hatte eine kleine Beanstandung die wurde sofort ausgemerzt in einem wahnsinnig höflichen Ton und Ruhe. Die Knoblauchbutter sind nicht irgendein Mist von der Fabrik, sondern haben ihren eigenen Flair Meine Freundin hatte vegan bestellt und ich Pultpark beides sehr gut und reichlich, da hätten wir uns direkt die Knoblauchbutter von weg sparen können. Jedoch waren die sehr gut wie gesagt Preislich mehr als okay. Auch die Getränke im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalitäten waren Absolut preislich akzeptabel. Wir waren dort mit Gutschein Buch, sonst wären wir gar nicht auf diese Lokal gekommen. Aber sind uns sicher, dass wir wiederkommen werden auch ohne Gutschein Buch

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort. Es war nicht super voll, aber doch einige Leute dort. Wir haben nur eine Bedienung dort gesehen, aber er wirkte absolut nicht gestresst, im Gegenteil: er hat immer mal kurz Zeit für ein kleines Gespräch gehabt, hat sich um uns super gekümmert und sich sogar noch entschuldigt, dass unsere Vorspeise länger dauert als üblich, bis sie bei uns ist. Wirklich super sympathisch! Das Essen war wirklich richtig gut und die Portionen haben wir wirklich unterschätzt. Ich habe aufgrund der üppigen Vorspeise meine Hauptspeise gar nicht mehr aufessen können, obwohl ich das normalerweise immer mache. Vielen lieben Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Platte für zwei war auf alle Fälle ausreichend für beide. Man konnte die Vielfalt an Zutaten durchprobiert und somit alles testen. Es wird durchaus nicht der letzte Besuch bleiben

Sehr leckeres mexikanisches Essen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Comidas. Das Essen war lecker, die Bedienung freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Cocktails waren 1a. Danke.

Das Essen war nicht gut! Der Burrito bestand fast nur aus Reis und enthielt kaum Fleisch. Meine Frau bestellte Fajitas. Diese wurden auf einer einzigen Tortilla serviert, nicht auf einem heißen Teller. Das Essen war eher süß als herzhaft oder scharf. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen. Wir bestellten eine Michaloda, die aber keine Zingzang-Sauce enthielt. Nur einen Pfefferrand mit etwas scharfer Sauce.

Waren zum Essen dort. Tolle leckere Gerichte, welche auf der Karte gut erklärt sind, falls man sich in der mexikanischen Küche nicht so gut auskennt. Ambiente sehr gemütlich, lädt dazu ein etwas länger sitzen zu bleiben um noch das ein oder andere Getränk zu genießen.

Das Essen war lecker und der Service freundlich, die Margarita enthielt Limettensirup statt Limettensaft, was etwas enttäuschend war; allerdings war reichlich Tequila enthalten, aber Ausgewogenheit ist wichtig.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag Abend beim comidas und haben ohne Probleme einen Platz bekommen. Service war Schnell unf freundlich. Essen ist tex-mex und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Kommen gerne wieder Update August 2025: So nach ein paar Monaten wieder hier - Essen wie damals super lecker und Cocktails auch - waren vor einer Woche bei einem Mitbewerber in einer fränkischen Großstadt und das Comidas braucht sich hier nicht verstecken - geschmacklich, preislich, Inneneinrichtung alles besser als in der Metropole der Metropolregion :-)

Ich habe heute eine Freundin spontan zum Essen eingeladen, die Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und es fühlte sich von Anfang an heimisch an. Die Cocktails waren sehr schön dekoriert und das Essen sehr lecker - nur zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war super lecker, die Cocktails richtig gut – jeder Drink ein Genuss. Aber nicht nur das: Das Ambiente war wunderschön, total stimmig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Musik hat perfekt zum Vibe gepasst und die Stimmung einfach rund gemacht. Wir haben uns mega wohlgefühlt und waren wirklich mehr als zufrieden. Es gab kaum etwas zu bemängeln – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 😊🍴🍸

Service sehr freundlich, Essen war gut, Es wirkt nur etwas spartanisch und chaotisch wenn die Servicekraft obwohl Montag und nicht viel los ist, nebenbei Getränkeausschank machen muß. Sicher wird am Wochenende mehr Personal eingesetzt,aber wenn für eine Aushilfe am Ausschank für 2-3 Stunden die vielleicht noch ein bissl flexibel der Küche hilft gespart wird,dann spart die Geschäftsführung am falschen Ende. We were there on Saturday evening. The Comidas was not very busy and despite everything, the staff was overwhelmed. The food could use some good spices, I felt that certain something was missing in the dishes.

Eine gemütliche Sommerliche Auszeit im Herzen von Weiden, etwas versteckt von den befahrenen Straßen. Das Essen ist eine 10/10 und das Personal ist super nett.

Wir waren heute im Comidas essen, spontan gingen wir daran vorbei und dann sprach uns der Innenhof sehr an, so schön geschmückt/ dekoriert. Mit tollen Wetter ist es wirklich ein Traum. Die Bedienung war sofort bei uns und hat uns super freundlich bedient. Das Essen war ein ein Genuss. Ich hatte den Carne Burrito, siehe Bild. Ich war super satt und es war einfach perfekt. Meine Freunde haben noch den Maiskolben und die Tacos gehabt, auch die waren sehr lecker mit 3 verschiedenen Dips und die Maiskolben super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, kann man wirklich weiterempfehlen! :)

The food was very tasty and delivered quickly. The service was very friendly and helpful. But the highlight actually has to be the decoration. It is really atmospherically furnished and contributes brilliantly to the overall experience. Absolutely clear recommendation!

Simply excellent the food is fresh and homemade. Anyone who complains about the short waiting time here doesn't understand how much effort it takes to cook everything fresh. Well, it wasn't spicy, but that was good for us. You can season it later. Eating took a while, especially one, but the service was very friendly, there was a drink to compensate, so don't worry. We really liked the atmosphere, we almost forgot we were in Weiden. The drink prices are reasonable, the amount of meat is generous, the side dishes are fewer, especially with the tacos. So there is still room for improvement, but a nice addition to the offering in Weiden.

I recommend reserving a table before visiting as it can fill up quickly. However, there should always be room for just a few people. The menu is a bit confusing, but once you find your way around, everyone will definitely find something under the burrito, taco, quesadilla or enchilada category. However, I found there was a lack of spicy options. The tortillas with dips are recommended as a starter and appetizer. The "Burrito Comidas" was very tasty, tasteful and well supported by the sides. Personally, I miss the house lemonade in the drinks selection. Unfortunately, the waiting time for the desert to arrive was a bit long because our order was lost. However, the Soufflé Desert is highly recommended and rounds off the visit well. Payment by credit card was declined, but there was no problem with an EC card. However, cash is still preferred.

I find the greeting with a tequila very funny. The service was absolutely friendly and the food was good. The burrito was a bit dry. However, the nachos & the dessert - white chocolate cake - tore everything out. Gladly again.

The selection was rather poor, the execution fell into the category of “they made an effort” but every dish lacked the pizzazz. Borrito Chili Con carne was filled with dry risotto without any spice, the enchilada chicken without any heat and more straight than sophisticated. The garlic dip was pure garlic - inedible for me. Stars were given for the ambience and correct service, even if the dishes came at different times, which I don't think is great. Ambiance also got a star. and one because overall it was edible and the portions were ok.

The food that evening wasn't particularly good. The chef must have been very in love. My chili was totally over salted and too dry, but I was told there were temporary cooks at work. I'm actually used to better, so unfortunately only 3 stars

We had reserved a table for today. The first impression was really great, very nicely decorated. But unfortunately we had to wait a long time before we could order our drinks and food, and the waitress apologized for that. We then had to wait over 1.5 hours for the food we ordered. Not very convincing in terms of taste. But the waitresses were nice.

Delicious food and good service.

Food was absolutely great. So value for money is really great too. Unfortunately, the young men serving as waitresses were an absolute disaster. At the beginning you wait almost 20 minutes for the menu. Unfortunately, the meal took almost 1.5 hours. We actually wanted dessert but after waiting another 20 minutes for the menu, we didn't want anything more. It's a shame for the restaurant because the food is really great.

If you're an American from the South who loved mexican food like we do, you'll be sadly disappointed. The rice was just ok. The home made tortilla chips were very good. The enchiladas and tacos we ordered were not authentic nor good at all. The top shelf Margarita tasted good but was a very small glass overfilled with ice. I don't recommend dinner here overall. Overpriced for sub par food. Our server was wonderful, which together with the tortilla chips, were the only positives.

Nice location with unobtrusive service and “not quite” authentic Mexican food. Prices are okay.

Very nice restaurant! We've been there four times now and have tried the menu. Whether spare ribs, pork belly, beef rump, burrito, vegan vegetable plate or tacco, we enjoyed everything. The portions are a great size and the price is great! The cocktails are also very tasty🍹 The atmosphere is very inviting and creatively designed. The mix of modern elements and kitsch is really great and the fairy lights outside are also very inviting. The service was always friendly and competent. I just wish that someone would come to the table more often every now and then and check that everything is going well. All in all, highly recommended!

Yesterday we visited the beautifully furnished Comidas with a great feel-good factor (inside and outside) with 7 people. We were warmly welcomed with a tequila on the house, which we really enjoyed! All rooms are so lovingly furnished, the outdoor area is also beautifully decorated. Like every restaurant, the Comidas Service lacks staff, but that hasn't detracted from the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was super nice and polite. The food is super delicious, the price-performance ratio is simply unbeatable. What we really liked is that the menu is super clear. There is something for young and old. Less is more here! Thank you for allowing us to spend such a great evening with you. Keep it up! I can fully recommend Comidas.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the whole atmosphere is very nice. Most of the food tasted good, but it lacked the typical Mexican taste. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to salsa. Just google a good recipe in English for salsa. The tortillas were very dry. There are warming containers that prevent this. The chicharrones were very good. Big plus point... there were no kidney beans, which seem to be available in every other German Mexican restaurant, but black beans.

I was invited here by my son, who had already enthusiastically told me about his last visit. The atmosphere is kitschy Mexican, but not disgusting. The menu is very clear, but I personally miss some other real Mexican classics. In terms of taste, you can't complain - I did, because I really missed the real Mexican spice... But that probably wouldn't sell so well in Bavaria. The dish I chose was sumptuous and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. The service was ok - but since we were there at a really busy time, none of the ladies would have had more time - we didn't have to wait an unreasonably long time, nor were we forgotten or overlooked in the hustle and bustle. Personally, I find the seating too narrow, which is why I'll wait until I can sit outside on my next visit. What really struck me, however, was the fact that it was explained to me before our visit that 3 weeks before, the women's toilet had a problem and had to be moved to the men's toilet - when I went to the toilet it was marked with the note " “please use the men’s toilet” locked…….it’s understandable that something like this happens - but I think it’s a joke that a disruption lasts for 3 weeks.

Nicely furnished restaurant, you get a tequila on the house to start with. The menu is manageable, but sufficient and well written. At the beginning we had COMIDA DE PICOTEO, I wouldn't recommend this. The main course was the BURRITO COMIDAS Very good, although these were very meaty. A little more vegetables or a bit of salad would be suitable. Very good in terms of taste and portion size. Unfortunately the service wasn't that good, at the beginning someone came very often, but after the food was there unfortunately no more. So we didn't have anything to drink for a long time. You should be a little more careful.

Very good Mexican food and great ambience

We dined in on a very slow Tuesday evening. The place itself is very nicely decorated and welcoming. Service was good, our dishes came out slightly delayed. 10/10 on the chips and salsa. For our main we had Flauta and a Burrito Comidas. Zero complaints about the Flauta, the Burrito could've used some salsa/sauce and some crunch and flavouring. Overall would definitely recommend it and will be coming back again!

The food is very good, there are just not enough dishes on the menu, I expected something different for a Mexican restaurant, the tables are too close together, you feel crowded when several people sit together, especially bring your time because of the service

A really great restaurant. The atmosphere is just perfectly Mexican. The service doesn't get any better. Super friendly service and on point. The food was to die for! We had 5 different dishes at the table and each one was great. We recommend. We'll definitely go there again.

Unfortunately, the food is not authentically Mexican (unfortunately, despite the saying on Facebook - "You don't have to speak Spanish to come to us" - not even a word of Spanish is spoken) Is there even fresh cooking here? - unfortunately it tastes more like frozen dishes - everything tastes very similar and it is definitely fried too greasy. This is definitely better; It's a shame, especially since the location is quite good. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore...

The restaurant is nicely decorated. The menu is very clear, but I personally think that's better than having 30 dishes on it. Now to the negative: we had to wait forever until someone took the order for the food. And then another hour for the food. 1 meal was burned from below, it was replaced immediately. The other dishes were ok - but nothing more. All the toilets were blocked that evening. After the waiter asked us if everything was okay, we told him our displeasure, especially about the long wait. He then offered us a drink as compensation. But even then we had to wait quite a long time. Conclusion for us: we probably won't come back

The first impression was good in itself. We were warmly welcomed, the location was nicely decorated and the ambience was also good. The food itself was good. It is comparable to other "German" Mexicans. Now don't eat the high end, but it tastes good and is okay so far. POINT OF CRITICISM: Without exaggeration, we (there were 4 people) had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our food (other tables next to us too, by the way). The friendly, really accommodating and lovely service was always at the table and apologized for the long wait. After dinner we ordered 3 cocktails. After the cocktails weren't at the table after 25 minutes, we had to cancel them because we still had other appointments. We're sitting here in the restaurant right now and we're absolutely thrilled. We looked for a good Mexican restaurant for a long time after being spoiled in Frankfurt. The ambience, value for money, food and service are simply top. We will definitely come back. The only thing I missed are chilli cheese tortilias.

Essn leider etwas über teuert, aber geschmacklick auf einem mittleren Niveau. Die Cocktails sind in Ordnung. Leider sehr laut. Essen kam nichts gleichzeitig, teilweise so viel Zeit dazwischen dass die ersten bereits fertig waren bis der Letzte sein Essen bekam. Wartezeit auf Getränke und Essen enorm. Steak wie außen angeschrieben am Schild konnte ich leider keines finden.
