The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, with beautiful decorations and gas fire stoves in the back. The food was really excellent and the waitress really lovely. Absolutely recommend it.

Really nice atmosphere, especially in the winter garden with relaxed, strumming jazz music. Food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Very happy again ☺️ In the evening a reservation is recommended.

We were there for Valentine's Day and had made a reservation, which was urgently needed. Unfortunately, the seating was so close that you were almost elbow to elbow with the neighboring table. You felt so cramped, and getting up to go out or go to the toilet was really difficult depending on the position of the table. It's a shame that the number of guests wants to be maximized like that. The location itself is super pretty and classy. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and were told that we only had 90 minutes today - so far so good, that's usually enough. It's just stupid when the food takes an hour to arrive and we had our meal at 7:50 p.m. Even at peak times it was really absurd to have to wait over an hour for food - we didn't have any special requests, just standard food a la cart. The food itself is OK to good. I think price performance is poor. The show and the ambience are of course great, but over €7 for an iced tea or just under €4 for a Spezi (which comes in a 0.25l bottle) is already way over the top. The fact that you can still get 0.25l drinks in the restaurant is not up to date. The service is very friendly (we also gave drinks for free after we had waited an hour for food) and attentive, but it can quickly seem overwhelmed by the high number of guests. I have the feeling that many of the problems could be solved if the ratio of service staff to guests were adjusted - the high quality food and prices should actually make that possible.

We went to Coco Restaurant on a Monday evening, and although it's not a typical night out, the restaurant was busy. The occasion was a birthday dinner and we couldn't have asked for a better place for it. The ambience is really impressive - an upscale atmosphere with an unusual and stylish design that made the evening special. The service was absolutely outstanding: attentive, friendly and professional. You felt well looked after from start to finish. The food was fantastic! Every dish – starter, main course and dessert – was beautifully presented and tasted of the highest standard. Two of us had sushi, which was excellently prepared, and the other two had tuna, which was fried to perfection, and duck, which was also perfectly done. The drinks were also of high quality and rounded off the entire experience. The bill was €163, which is absolutely reasonable for the quality offered. All in all it was a flawless 5 star experience and I will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!

The food and the ambience were very good. Unfortunately we had to wait half an hour before we even got menus and we also waited a long time for the drinks. But once we got going, things went quite well. Maybe it was because of the good conversations, but the waiting time seemed shorter. Most of the food came together and everything was very tasty.

We were here with the Fine Dine voucher. The welcome drink was actually an Aperol Spitz, which I found very generous (for others it's just a small schnapps or something similar). The service was a bit slow, but still very nice. The food was really excellent. We have now ordered something to pick up and it was also top quality. We'll definitely do it again.

Food still didn't come after 1.5 hours. I asked politely twice and was told it would come any minute. Then they left.

After a recommendation from a friend, I visited the restaurant today. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed... I ordered sushi and udon noodle with duck, but unfortunately the duck wasn't crispy and looked old. Price-performance not consistent. There are much better Asian restaurants in town.

Mega friendly service and super delicious food and drinks

We waited 2 hours for delivery and we don't even live far away. After waiting for over an hour, we were put off on the phone and then we had to wait another 3/4 hour... when our food arrived, the soup was cold (content: very sad) and my sushi was limp. (The rice had already absorbed the mayonnaise and my crispy chicken was already slimy) I personally thought it was good at the beginning but unfortunately I can't recommend it anymore.. sorry

Unfortunately, despite making a reservation, we had to wait about 15 minutes until someone accepted us. There was actually a lot going on but the team seemed very disorganized and hectic. First we were given a table in the winter garden with sterile, unpleasant lighting and where it pulled on our heads and legs. You have to give the team credit for remaining friendly despite the hectic situation and giving us a table inside. We had 2 main courses (chicken, beef with vegetables and rice) which were unfortunately very salty and the rice was cold. The quality of the food justifies the price, not every cheap Asian snack bar can easily keep up here. However, the drinks were very good.

We had an online reservation for Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. When we stood in front of the restaurant we saw a lot of people standing in the entrance area. I went in and asked everyone if everyone had a reservation for 7 p.m., which was answered in the affirmative. Apparently no one was there to ask about the reservation. We were very upset and decided not to join the queue because we were hungry but to try our luck at another restaurant. We learned from our daughter that this situation had probably happened several times. The restaurant seems to have a big problem with time management, but they don't seem to want to get it under control. I find this very strange and will no longer make reservations here.

Reserved on the recommendation of fine dine Augsburg 2025. We were able to move indoors after 20 minutes in the drafty winter garden. Seat bench covered with undefined stains and shoe prints. Drinks came after the appetizer. The main course was simply swapped with the starter, even though we hadn't finished yet. Food was totally over salted (two different dishes). You really couldn't eat. There are Asian snack bars in Augsburg with much better quality. We can't rate sushi. Fine dine stands for the quality of the restaurants, which is not understandable here. More of a cafeteria feeling No recommendation

Incredibly expensive but overly salty (so much so that I even woke up thirsty at night), small portions and the broccoli was almost raw. When we asked if it tasted good and answered that it was too salty, we were offered rice.

Very loud and very crowded. Long waiting time despite reservation. Food was good but little. It was very cold in the restaurant. Reserved at 7:30 p.m. and got food at 9:20 p.m. without apology.

The Coco restaurant in Augsburg is just the right place for lovers of Japanese cuisine. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home thanks to the great ambience. The menu offers a good selection of Japanese dishes, from fresh sushi and sashimi to delicious hot dishes. The service is attentive, warm and happy to help if you have any questions about the food. I can only recommend Coco!

The food was very tasty except that my hand was cold but the bad thing was what happened afterwards. I've never had such bad diarrhea in my life. My brother threw up all night and my couseng also service was nice but hott knows what but there was mine in the food Kake was liquid amk my cousin pukes it out but the food was delicious

Tasty! Beautifully done! I am impressed and happy that such a good quality food of Asia Fusion can be found over here in Augsburg. For vegetarians, there are good options, I’m satisfied that veggie rolls, spinach salad and veggie sushi rolls are delicious. No bad smell from fish rolls or over cooked rice which either too wet or too dry. Whatsoever I have too much terrible experiences from many mimicking Japanese restaurants in Bayern. Of course friendly service and nice staffs are PLUS.

There are better sushi restaurants. Getting the wrong food. Therefore only one star.

Furthermore, the children are disruptive.🤨 I think (my subjective opinion) that children have no place in a restaurant like this. We sat at the window behind a family with children who were very naughty and loud. There wasn't even a reprimand from the mother. I think this 1a kitchen *** has a quieter atmosphere. If you have children, then please go to the winter garden, away from people who would like to enjoy the extremely upscale cuisine and the delicious arrangements in peace.

The food was very tasty. We had sushi, a duck main course and a vegetarian main course with tofu and peanut sauce - the latter was my meal. Why only 3 stars? My vegetarian "main course" was 30% rice (bowl) and 30% lettuce leaves. Take a close look at them. I finished eating after 5 minutes. I waited for over an hour for this. When the restaurant is full, the kitchen can't keep up. Maybe the high price for that little bit of food should have told me: Better order more. Starters and desserts are provided. However, with all my love, no, this is not a restaurant like that. It's a real shame - the taste seems skillfully cooked. I also explained this to the waitress - no response.

We always get sushi here and have been very satisfied every time. Sometimes it happens that we have surprise guests and then the take-away sushi from here is just the thing.

BEST sushi in Augsburg! I've been there so many times and been satisfied every time. The gyoza, fried noodles, curry and of course the sushi were always super tasty. Collection is also possible, the food is always ready quickly.

Vulcano roll and the chicken with udon noodles were excellent. Special requests were taken into account. Gladly again. The Halloween decorations were great, very loving restaurant.

Super delicious food, great cocktails and absolutely friendly service. The place is really nicely decorated. We were there at 6:00 p.m. without a reservation, got a wonderful table and were overall completely satisfied. Unreservedly recommended.

Was there for my anniversary dinner with my significant other. I’m a vegetarian but they had plenty of vegetarian and vegan options (except for Gyoza, which disappointed me a bit since they do offer it in a menu but not on its own). I had the dragon roll sushi, which tasted incredible thanks to the fishy, crunchy fried salmon skin. The presentation of the food was also fancy; they poured hot water over a cup of dry ice, producing some fog over our table. They did forget to bring us our dessert but we still received it in the end and it was delicious (we had the mochi matcha ice cream). We can both recommend the place for any (fancy) occasion! :)

Thanks to the fine dine box voucher we came to the restaurant and the food was really very good! There is a point deduction in the service because on Saturday evening only one person took orders and collected them and in terms of the ambience the tables are a bit too close together for me personally. Will definitely come back

Very pleasantly furnished, the food is really incredibly good. Personally, I have never had such good Asian food in Augsburg. And no, I'm not a fan of the service there and that's why I'm writing a good review, as is sometimes the case, but I've been there twice so far and I'm really impressed. The portions are quite large so I would be very hungry. The service is also very attentive and friendly. 10 out of 10 really.

There were four of us here today and we've all had much better Asian food - in Augsburg and in Asia anyway. I can't understand the enthusiasm for this restaurant either. I am also surprised by the quality feature “everything freshly prepared” in previous reviews. Surely that should be a given in a restaurant in this price range?

Coco tastes best when you eat locally. I ate in the restaurant once and had it delivered 3 times. And unfortunately I have to say that this is the last time I wanted to have Coco deliver. It just doesn't taste as good as when you eat there. These missing points are: - crunchy rolls are no longer crispy - the food is no longer warm - there is no nice “salad decoration” like in a restaurant 😔 I actually think it’s very ingenious - Delivery takes forever, the food just doesn't taste like it does when it's freshly prepared. It's a real shame 😢 So for my “Asian tongue” Coco tastes quite good to me 😋 Hands up for the kitchen team!!! 👏🏽👏🏽 Next time ONLY eat in the restaurant!!!😊

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. The drinks are good and the service is too. We weren't happy with the food. Had two main courses, no sushi. The sauce was thin and didn't taste good, like it was from the day before. The meat was very mixed. They charge extra for rice as a side dish, and for almost 20 euros per dish, the quantity and quality delivered is simply not enough for my taste.

Waren ohne Reservierung um 19 Uhr im Coco. Trotzdem noch im hübschen Garten einen Tisch bekommen. Von aussen wirkt das Lokal unscheinbar, ist innen aber ansprechend eingerichtet, modern mit witzigen Details. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und rasch. Sie schlug vor unsere verschiedenen bestellten Sushi auf einer grossen Platte anzurichten. Getränke kamen kurz darauf. Und dann die Überraschung: eine spektakuläre Sushiplatte mit Trockeneis. Und schmeckte auch ebenso toll! Die Bedienung fragte auch mehrfach, ob wir noch Getränke brauchten, war sehr aufmerksam, obwohl der Garten sehr gut besetzt war. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

I want to give you three stars. Five stars for the food on site and one star for the food delivered via delivery. I'm sorry. But I just missed the feeling of freshness. The lettuce was already brown around the edges and the salmon already looked dry on the surface. At that price I expect something different.

I was expecting more. The food was OK, fairly average tasting for the price point. Wasn't impressed, but the alcohol free cocktails were fab! Loved the vibe of the place but won't be back, too expensive for an average meal.

A nice place to eat with family or friends. Every time I eat there the food is delicious. The children were very impressed with the "effects" with the dry ice. I recommend!

An attempt was made to make the reception cheeky - which went absolutely wrong. Ordering from the service was difficult and many things had to be repeated and checked on the menu. Despite reciting numbers and names, a number was transposed when typing - which was an absolute disgrace: an attempt was made to pass the error on to us. Afterwards we were brought the right food “as a gesture of goodwill”. It was an obvious number cruncher. It can happen, it wasn't bad, but you should be able to admit the mistake. It was a shame because the food (the kitchen) is good.

Recommended place for sushi in Augsburg, nicely decorated (there is a wall full of maneki-neko). We went on a weekday without reservation and there was enough space. The service was good and the presentation of the plates, was the best.  In case you don't decide for something specific, you can always receive a recommendation from the waiter.

We were badly ripped off and wanted a plate for 32 euros so that we could eat for two and then split the price. He came with a bill of over 80 euros for a record that wasn't even worth 80 euros. He counted 32 euros for 2 people and wanted 32 euros each from us. The platter would be a joke for 32 euros because the sushi mix for 18 euros has just as much more sushi in it than if you only ordered 32 euros for 1 person. There would only be 10 pieces of sushi in there. In addition, the waiter with glasses was really rude and disrespectful and didn't even communicate with us, he just left during the conversation and said yes, you're just out of luck. We felt like dogs. It's a shame it was actually our favorite sushi restaurant but that wasn't the first time we were treated rudely there. You won't see us again. Were actually there once every week… The waiter was really rude The waitress didn't even speak to us and ignored us. We had a larger platter at Golden Rice for 34 euros, which was only booked once for 2 people for 34 euros. ! impudence.
