I received very friendly service there, and the currywurst and fries tasted very good.

The fries were great, but the loud music was a disaster.

I went to CKTS in Bremen with a colleague. The food was truly delicious – top-notch, fresh, and well-prepared. The location in the heart of Bremen's city center is also super central and easily accessible. What completely ruined the visit, however, was the behavior of one of the employees – the blond man was extremely rude and even shouted at us for no apparent reason. Such disrespectful treatment of guests is completely unacceptable! We were both shocked by this kind of communication. Because of this absolutely unacceptable experience, I will definitely not be returning – even the good food won't help. Hospitality should be a given in the restaurant industry – unfortunately, that was not the case here.

Anyone expecting good fries won't be disappointed. I've been going to CKT's for years and have always been satisfied. The store's concept is very simple, which makes the visit very pleasant. You choose a type of fries and a sauce to go with it. My personal favorite is the cheese sauce. It's more of a takeaway shop, as there's no seating directly inside.

Currywurst fries. How can some pieces of sausage be reasonably hot, some lukewarm, some cold!? The pieces obviously didn't come from a sausage, but the cold ones had probably been in the container for a long time! The hot ones were probably fresh? This time I took thin fries because the thick ones haven't been around for a long time. Not crispy. The thin ones are so crispy that you can only break them with a wooden fork instead of piercing them. Add salt to it. And why, if you want to eat it on site, is the whole thing served in a styrofoam packaging as if you were taking it away? At least a paper plate would be less polluting waste. For me it was finally the last attempt to eat fries here. However, I can recommend the soft ice cream.

Delicious French fries in different variations and toppings. However, we were served by an absolutely unfriendly, cheeky and very snotty German employee who, after a short dispute, told us that he "didn't feel like serving us" even though he had made the mistakes. His Asian-looking colleague, who was a bit obliging, finally took our order without any problems. Conclusion: Good food, but CKT should choose its employees more carefully, otherwise you will lose customers.

I was in the store today with my family and there was a young man who was serving in German. He said to us that I don't serve. When we asked, we were insulted and yelled at. The management was going to get rid of this employee, he didn't deserve the job. It was around 6 p.m. Someone should have been included in the plan. It was definitely the last time. Really great fries and also currywurst. The sauces are also very tasty and there is a lot to choose from. Also a great price/performance ratio.

You should definitely try it when you come to Bremen. It keeps you full all day.

Hello everyone, people! I am a blogger and will describe this place to you. Honestly, it used to be better. The fries were fantastic, even better than McDonald’s. But I am disappointed and sad. In January 2025, I came here with my son to buy fries. They were over salted even though I asked for less salt to be used. They were also extremely greasy - my hands were completely oily. Why is that? Maybe there are new chefs who are in a hurry. But there's no reason to rush - at least I'm not in a hurry. The room was very dirty: there were chips everywhere, the counters and tables were all greasy. And what I particularly disliked was that a very unkempt person was sitting in a corner behind the bar, eating. I hope this is just temporary because I really liked this place.

The core business of "French fries" is dominated here, and a range of sauces is also offered. You can also "spice up" your meal with onions and jalapenos - and unfortunately that's about it. Based on the marketing, I would have expected a little more sophistication and creativity in the offering. In addition, the interior of the store is quite uncomfortable and the mascot in front of the door is not very inviting.

Sweet potatoes are terrible. Salty and mushy. It has to be taken off the menu because it wasn't crispy. Too much oil, too greasy. I threw it away..I made sweet potatoes at home, it was crispy and delicious.

Germans definitely love their fries! Server asked if I wanted small or large, I mistakenly asked for "small," thinking it referred to the portion size, but it turned out to be skinny fries instead! Only one of the staff spoke English well, I wasn’t blown away by the fries, but the service was great nonetheless.

Google Play with Visa is not always accepted. I thought those days were behind us. That was unpleasant when you couldn't pay at the checkout!

We have tried different different flavors of pommies, its just boiled potatoes with some sauce, but in germany this food is very common so have it, it tastes very good.

I really enjoy eating a lot of soft ice cream. This one is really good. Not cheap at 2.70 but also significantly larger than any normal ice cream portion and really worth the price. Service was also nice and cheerful.

Be welcome. Here you will be yelled at if you try to order thick and thin fries half and half out of consideration for your toddler. The thicker the arms, the thinner the skin.

One thing in advance: If you seriously want to get a large portion of fries for €2.50 these days - as you can read in another review - you should stay at home and peel, cut and deep-fry potatoes yourself. Visited CKTs for the first time today and am happy with what I got: A portion of thick fries with classic salad mayonnaise. The fries were crispy on the outside and very flavorful. What is always important to me personally: Is there enough mayonnaise on the fries? When it comes to CKTs, a resounding yes! Therefore, the first visit will definitely not be my last.

Unfortunately there is no seating option for a severely disabled person like me and I think seniors would also like to sit!!!

The fries are a 10/10 and I actually love eating there :) Every time I'm downtown I treat myself to my fries. BUT: Yesterday or February 15th, 2024 around 3:30 p.m. my order was made incorrectly twice. I wanted to have a different sauce, but unfortunately the employee didn't understand me. He gave me a wrong order. When I pointed out to him that it was wrong, he simply threw the fries in the TRASH in front of every customer. And then he simply did wrong with my order... This incompetence is truly unbelievable. For your information: the employee was blonde, had blue eyes and was approx. 165cm. Employees who simply throw food in the trash and don't give it to the homeless people (who are usually in front of the store) are simply incompetent.

The curry cream is a real treat. A must for every visit to Bremen.

Pommes wie immer sehr lecker, aber pro sauce 0,80€. Für den Preis bekommt man auch einen Döner. Finde ich leider überteuert.

Sehr leckere Pommes und Soßen zu einem fairen Preis. Empfehlenswert sind auch die Pommes Spezial, also mit Zwiebeln. Einzig die Mitarbeiter könnten hin und wieder etwas motivierter sein. Man wird aber immer freundlich bedient. Sitzgelegenheiten sind nicht vorhanden, dafür aber eine Art Stehtresen.

Bisher "nur" zum zweiten Mal dort gegessen. Gefühlt ist man leider doch immer weniger in der Innenstadt. Für den kleinen bis mittelgroßen Hunger gibt es hier den perfekten Imbiss für zwischendurch. Durch die relativ große Beliebtheit mussten wir auch dieses Mal etwas länger warten, es ging aber zügig voran. Die Auswahl ist wirklich gut, selbst für Vegetarier ist die eine oder andere Sauce dabei. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist dennoch gut. Vielleicht gibt es ja doch noch ein drittes Mal!

Unglaublich Lecker! Vor allem die Möglichkeit die Art der Pommes (dünne Pommes, dicke Pommes, Süßkartoffel oder Wedges) aussuchen zu können finde ich super. Mir fehlen nur Sitzmögichkheiten im Laden.

Gefühlt eine Ewigkeit bestelle ich meine Pommes wie folgt…. Die Tüte wird zur Hälfte mit Pommes gefüllt dann einmal Mayonnaise und Ketchup und dann die nächste Schicht Pommes und oben dann wieder Mayonnaise und ketchup. Nun kam wohl die Bequemlichkeit des Mitarbeiters, mir in die Quere oder evtl sogar Faulheit I don’t know aber die Antwort war dann neeeee das dürfen wir nicht bzw machen wir nicht ??? Sooo what ??? Wenn ich ein Saucen Aufschlag möchte dann hat man das zu geben… schließlich hätte ich dafür gezahlt. Sorry aber war erschrocken mir so eine doofe Antwort anhören zu müssen…. Sogar die Leute hinter mir haben mich angeguckt und in seine Richtung mit dem Kopf geschüttelt. Denn mal ehrlich, wo ist das Problem gewesen ???

Das Essen bei CKTs waren für mich früher immer ein besonderes Highlight in der Stadt. Wir haben zuletzt vor einigen Wochen dort gegessen. Die Pommes waren soweit ok. Aber die Soßen hatten gefühlt extrem an Geschmack verloren. Das hat mit ehrlich gesagt das Essen vermiest. Ich glaube nicht, das ich da nochmal essen werde.

Angeblich gibt es die Pommes nur noch ohne Sauce. Kostet sonst 80 Cent extra. Habe dann 5 Euro statt bisher immer 3,40 Euro bezahlt.Für eine Portion Pommes !Absolut frech ! 40 cent für ketchup un 1.60 Rot-weiss ,Leute nicht dort kaufen ,in der Nähe wo karschtadt ist Gib es auch Pommes 3.50 mi soße inklusive.

Die Pommes sind sehr lecker, daran gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Aber 80 Cent für einen Klacks gewöhnlichen Ketchup finde ich schon Wucher. Und wenn man rot-weiss, also Ketchup und Mayonnaise möchte ist man 1,60 Euro zusätzlich los. Nein Danke, ich esse meine Pommes jetzt woanders

Ich habe hier immer sehr gerne Pommes gegessen, wenn ich mal in der Stadt bin. Mittlerweile sind die Preise so gestiegen, dass ich lieber ein Euro mehr zahlen würde für ein Hauptgericht. Über 4 Euro für ein Pommes ist mir dann doch zu viel des Guten.

Gute, leckere Pommes mit einer großen Auswahl an leckeren Soßen! Leider werden neuerdings 80 ct pro Soße berechnet. Bislang waren die im Preis inbegriffen und man hatte die Möglichkeit, auch mal 2 Soßen auszuwählen. Ich verstehe ja, dass die Preise anziehen und hier vielleicht mal nachgestellt werden muss. Aber das ist die maximal unglückliche Variante. Ich habe gerade zwei Soßen bestellt und eine Tüte mit bis zum Boden mit Soße durchtränkten Fritten bekommen. Klar, denn bei 80ct und dann insgesamt 5 € möchte der freundliche Angestellte ja auch nicht geizig sein. Ich würde gern mehr für die Fritten bezahlen. Niemand kann mir erzählen, dass es wirtschaftlich problematisch ist, wenn man mal 2x eine halbe Portion anstatt einer ganzen Portion Soße auf die Fritten quetscht. Schade, ich bin immer gern hierher gekommen und hätte auch gern mehr für die Portion gezahlt.

Eine KATASTROPHE, Als ich mir heute Pommes bestellen wollte, hab ich nur gesehen wie ein Mitarbeiter eine Mitarbeiterin einfach anschrie und sie sogar am arm gepackt hat UND DAS VOR KUNDEN? ich hab nur mitbekommen wie er sie wegen nichts angemeckert hat. Dadurch das ich selber in der Gastronomie arbeite und hygiene sehr wichtig ist war dies auch nicht wieder zu finden. Die Mitarbeiterin wollte ganz schnell was sauber machen und da hat dieser Mitarbeiter sie schon wieder angemeckert wo ich es wirklich nicht nachvollziehen konnte. Der Mitarbeiter ist etwas 1,60-1,65 groß und hat Schulter lange schwarze Haare. Ich bin wirklich entsetzt. ich hoffe sowas kommt nicht noch einmal vor. LG

Obwohl wir zu viert erst 5 Minuten vor Geschäftsschluß eintrafen wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient. Dies ist ein Stehimbis, womit sich das Ambiente schlecht bewerten läßt. Gerne gehe ich wieder hier her.

Ja die Pommes sind schon Weltklasse. Der Service ist auch sehr gut. Die Jungs sind freundlich und haben immer nen lockeren Spruch drauf. AAAABER, die Portionen sind kleiner und die Preise höher geworden. Ja wir haben Inflation usw. aber es steht leider nicht mehr im Verhältnis.

Se quiser comer o tradicional Wurstcom batata e salsa, estando em Bremen, não deixe de passar no CKTs, além de sentir a tradicionalidade local através dos sabores, deliciar-se a com esse incrível e econômico prato.

Ich muss sagen dass sind die besten Pommes die ich je in Bremen gegessen habe ! Auch das Softice schmeckt so geil , einfach nur empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und arbeiten auch immer ganz zügig . Habe da nichts zu meckern :) 👍🏻
