The kebab is quite tasty, but the restaurant is quite built-up. More like "two refrigerators with seating." And "gyro restaurant"...? Kebab shop is more accurate. The service is functional and prompt.

Cancels orders without comment after an hour of waiting👍 Addendum: Apparently they don't deliver via Lieferando anymore, or they're choosing when to do so.

Some time ago I ordered 3 doner kebabs, they were delivered but the first one was noticable, was that the Lieferando employee couldn't do the math, after that was sorted out I unpacked the sandwiches and 2 only had salad and the third one had all the meat 🤮

Definitely recommend it, just stop by. If it doesn't become your favorite store!

Ordered there for the first time today and was completely satisfied. Grilled chicken, doner kebab, and Turkish pizza were all complete. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fair for me. The Turkish pizza is amazing. Delivery only took half an hour. It's great that they also deliver to Dormagen and that they also have grilled chicken, as they don't really offer it for delivery in this form anymore. Very friendly staff. I'd be happy to come back. Today I ordered the Capriciosa salad and two Turkish pizzas. The pizza was completely justified for €8. The price of the salad was a little off-putting. I've had it before in a large one for €6.50 and a small one for €3.50. See photos of the bowls. After the price increase, I received the small bowl today for €7.50. After checking, I learned that this is now the large salad, and I don't think the price-performance ratio of €4 is at all reasonable, especially since the ingredients have been reduced to a minimum. I'm very dissatisfied this time, sorry. Today I ordered pizza, doner kebab with creamed coleslaw, and lamb gravy with salad and an extra creamed coleslaw. Pizza was great. The price of €10 for chicken and 1 tablespoon of coleslaw for the small portion. The lamb gravy was missing the entire salad. They just spread a spoonful of creamed coleslaw on top. I'm partially disappointed for the second time in a row. All for just under €26. Not good value for money.

Ordered for the first time today. Food came quickly and was really hot and delicious! We ordered pizza and kebab. Portions were large and absolutely sufficient. Driver very friendly and polite! We will definitely order again!!

Ordered from City Grill for the second time today and the food was delivered so quickly that it is unrivaled in Cologne. The first time it took 15 minutes, today they beat their time again - 13 minutes! And the kebab also tasted really good. The first time we ordered chicken, today we had it with veal. Super! Two types of sauces, lots of meat and the lettuce and onions were well distributed, bread was crispy so that you could eat the whole bag from start to finish without the bread tearing and the filling falling out. We will be ordering here again soon! Super!

Went to the City Grill for the first time since the renovation. There are beef or chicken kebabs. I had veal kebab and cream cabbage. It was very tasty and sufficient. The service is super friendly. Would love to come back.

I debated for a long time, but I've been there twice now to be sure. I have to say, there's no comparison to back then (I've been going there for 20 years). The meat cannot compete with a traditional kebab shop. I don't know what it is but it lacks the spice or taste. The kebab is okay but not more than that, if you go to Dormagen or the city it is significantly better. On the other hand, a snack bar was turned into an open restaurant, which in my opinion seems rather bare. The prices have risen sharply, under 30 euros for the Famely I can't get out of it. Here I compare it to back then when we were always at 20 euros. The service is nice as ever, but you don't go and get something to eat just to chat. 20 years of gyros with coleslaw cream for affordable prices are unfortunately coming to an end here. That was 2x 30 euros invested. It won't happen a third time. A pity!

After renovation, delivery service for the first time today. The food arrived hot and was known to be of very good quality. It was plentiful and tasty. Personally, I love the shashlik skewer, rich meat, very tender and tasty. But the chicken and the schnitzel are also recommended (finally no pressed meat). Very good value for money and top service. We will definitely be ordering more often now.

After the successful renovation, the food on offer has also improved. We ate here again today for the first time after the complete renovation. And all you can say is that it was really worth it. The whole ambience is open and flooded with light and pleasantly bright. But the food is really very good 👍! You can really relax and eat here because the quality back then has now become even better than it used to be. And earlier, I really mean several decades earlier. I have known Sahin for easily three decades now. But he actually managed to amaze me again, the whole store has been completely rebuilt and looks great. The menu has been completely redesigned and some new features have been added. And the quality of the food has been raised again. Sahin, I wish you and your team many more old and, especially now, new guests, whom you can hopefully serve and satisfy for decades to come. Delicious gyros and tzatziki with a very friendly boss behind the counter.

The fries taste like they are 3 days old, but if you're surprised, they're baked really dead, but if you're surprised, you have to make a phone call during the baking process. Fries were baked way too long and gyros were bland. What tasted good was the mayonnaise (far too little) and the Reissdorf kölch.

It's old school in the diner, but the food was very good and inexpensive. The service was great, very friendly.

Essen immer total lecker und Teller sind immer voll,pommes sind immer durch und lecker genau wie die currysauce, wir haben schon viel probiert aber hier ist die beste Currywurst pommes mit sauce,sowie der gyrosteller,gyrosburger usw. Einfach mal selbst ein Bild machen. Chef und Sohn sind immer jut drauf und lustig 😊 . Wir fahren gerne und oft hier hin 🫶

Leckeres Essen und große Portionen.

Netter Inhaber, die Currywurst essbar, die Sauce aber total fad und dünnflüssig. die Pommes sind leider katastrophal. Labberig und nicht durch. Ungenießbar....viel Geld für die Mülltonne ausgegeben.

Das Essen war nichts besonderes. Das Fleisch war sehr durch und trocken. Lokal ist sehr dreckig und vor allem stark in Jahre gekommen.
