Always fresh and very tasty food. The staff is also very friendly. I'm deducting one star because the restaurant is very small, everything is open, and connected to the open oven, so the cooking smell is quite unpleasant (if that bothers you). If we want to eat here, we prefer to pick up our food and eat at home. Otherwise, highly recommended.

The best place to make lahmacun in Hanau

The lahmacun was delicious; these guys know their stuff. But here's a little trick if you want to eat a few at once. Don't order a bunch at once; within 6-7 minutes, the dough loses its crispy texture and is no longer as moist. Yes, it costs a little more, but for me personally, a great, juicy taste is worth the €2-3.

I had a very negative experience at Citir Lahmacun in Hanau: burnt food, unfriendly staff, and disrespectful treatment of customers. The restaurant was relatively full, but that in no way justified the disrespectful tone toward several guests – including me. Even before it was my turn, the baker had snapped at two other customers in a harsh tone – and he was anything but professional with me as well. When I wanted to pay, I was suddenly told that card payments "only work sometimes." Although I've paid by card there many times before, I was served by the same baker, who didn't even look at me and immediately reacted unfriendly. When I asked to simply try using a card, he snapped at me in an aggressive tone, telling me to have a colleague do it, and marched off. The waiter then accepted the card payment without any problems – proof that the excuse simply wasn't true. When I tried to speak to the waiter, the baker shouted "Uzatmayalim!" ("Let's not drag this out") in Turkish from the back – a complete disrespect to a paying customer. I had to call the waiter several times to even be heard, and ultimately I was even yelled at for trying to pay by card – a payment method officially offered by the restaurant. That's not how you treat customers. This was definitely my last visit to this restaurant.

The lahmacun was as crispy as its name suggests, but I couldn't get the lahmacun flavor I wanted 😔 The tomatoes and peppers in the pita were not fully cooked, and the meat was too little for my taste. Will I come again? Question mark??? Still, thank you for your efforts :)

My daughter bought 10 lahmacun for us there and paid €50, which even with salad or sauce is €50 TOO MUCH! We then calculated at home how much it would actually cost based on the shop prices and came up with €40!!!!! So why were we then charged €10 too much? That would be €5 per lahmacun, which is just crazy. These prices are unjustified; we will never buy anything from that shop again! On top of that, the employees were apparently rude and took almost half an hour.

A truly small, cozy, and inviting place. The lahmacun are simply perfect! They're in no way inferior to Turkish lahmacun. The taste and quality are absolutely recommendable.

It's a small shop, but it's incredibly delicious, the pitas and lahmacun arrive quickly, even though the chefs are a little overwhelmed in the heat, and they never have a holiday except Wednesdays. We eat Bafra pita with minced meat and kashar and lahmacun. There is no spice in the minced meat pita, you taste the meat directly. Their lahmacun is very crunchy and delicious. We visited twice in the same week.

My children love it very much, when the master is not having a good day, he can shout at the customer (even the children were surprised) (the topic is hazelnut lahmacun) you should be careful with him.. But the product is a #10 wood oven, of course it makes a big difference..

UPDATE: I'm downgrading my review to 1 star because the owner of the restaurant admits under my post that the meat (beef or lamb doesn't really matter) is too expensive! And that's why cheap vegetables are used here to stretch the pide and rip off customers. That doesn't work at all! We were here with friends and I really experienced a shock when my food was on the table. Why did this happen? We went to this restaurant for dinner with friends. Some ordered lahmacun, others ordered lentil soup and I ordered beef pide (Kuşbaşılı pide). To my surprise, I have to admit that the pide bread was very crispy and thin, as I imagined (I also gave the 2 stars for this). However, I deducted 3 stars for the ingredients of the pide. Where there were supposed to be pieces of beef, there were 80% peppers and 20% just meat. and at a price of 12€. That's what I call a rip-off, because Kuşbaşı pide is offered and paprika pide ends up on the table, the cheese on top was also a joke. Exactly the same disappointment with another friend. The operator is making false savings here and the customers are not stupid to notice that, sorry but that's not possible. The waiter also said that card payments were no longer possible after 8 p.m. Who believes something like that? Lying to the customer like that is really the bottom drawer. If he had asked if we could pay in cash instead of KK, we would certainly have found a way. But lying like that that the POS machines don't work after 8 p.m. is really audacious. Every corner is saved here and the ingredients are stretched accordingly with cheap alternatives so that the food looks lush and full. As you can see in my case, a kuşbaşı pide should actually consist of meat and not peppers

The lahmacun here is simply unbeatable! Perfectly seasoned, crispy dough and super fresh, absolutely recommended. The employees are incredibly nice and attentive, and the boss takes personal care of his guests. You feel really welcome.

Lahmacuns and small data do not cover the fee. The salad is just lettuce, no onion or parsley. We pay a lot of money and leave the place unsatisfied. This is not only valid for this place.... Unfortunately, the restaurants in Hessen and Bayern now have the mentality of not feeding their customers, but letting them eat again.

I've been going to Citir with my best friends for a long time now and it's a really great store. Very nice and polite service. The food, especially the lahmacuns, are really good, as you'd expect from a Turk :) In addition, the service is always extremely fast, even when there's a lot going on, which doesn't usually happen that often. When I have a bad day and get my Lahmacun with Ulŭdag, the sun shines for me again. I can only warmly recommend giving it a try!

Das Essen war eine 10/10. Habe Lahmacun bestellt und war vom Geschmack mehr als zufrieden. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Bestellungen wurden leider nicht vom Tisch sondern drinnen an der Theke angenommen. Der Laden ist leider nicht sehr groß und wirkt wie ein Imbiss. Dennoch ein sehr schönes Plätzchen.

Ich besuchte kürzlich dieses Restaurant mit meinem Baby und hatte eine äußerst enttäuschende Erfahrung gemacht. Zunächst musste ich satte 20 Minuten warten, bis ich überhaupt meine Bestellung aufgeben konnte. Während dieser Zeit kam eine andere Person herein, die das gleiche bestellte wie ich und wurde bedient, nur weil sie angeblich ihr Auto ungünstig geparkt hatte. Das führte dazu, dass ich mit meinem müden Baby länger warten musste, obwohl es dringend schlafen musste. Als mein Essen schließlich serviert wurde, stellte ich fest, dass es unvollständig war und die Beilage fehlte. Dies führte dazu, dass mein Essen kalt wurde, während ich darauf warten musste. Als ich meine Unzufriedenheit gegenüber dem Personal ausdrückte, wurde meine Beschwerde nicht ernst genommen, einfach weil ich die Ungerechtigkeit in der Bedienung ansprach. Diese Erfahrung war äußerst frustrierend und enttäuschend. Als Gast erwarte ich eine angemessene Wartezeit und eine faire Behandlung. Es ist bedauerlich, dass diese Erwartungen nicht erfüllt wurden. Ich hoffe, dass das Management dieses Restaurants mein Feedback zur Kenntnis nimmt und Maßnahmen ergreift, um solche Situationen in Zukunft zu vermeiden. Potenzielle Gäste sollten sich bewusst sein, dass lange Wartezeiten und eine nachlässige Bedienung hier vorkommen können. Es ist traurig, dass ich diese Erfahrung machen musste, besonders wenn man bedenkt, dass ich gerne ein wiederkehrender Gast gewesen wäre. Ich hoffe, dass das Restaurant seine Servicequalität verbessert und zukünftigen Gästen eine angenehmere Erfahrung bietet.
