Excellent restaurant with a wide selection at the buffet. The staff is very friendly! The freshly cooked ingredients were superbly prepared; every single component was cooked to perfection! The service robot is truly ingenious! 👍🤩 We'll be back! 👍

Yesterday we went to the Golden Wu Buffet in Wardenburg – a large Chinese all-you-can-eat-and-drink restaurant. The price was €33.90 per person for two hours. Food and drinks are included – soft drinks, red and white wine, beer, and Krombacher on tap. Krombacher isn't really my thing, but if you like it, you can certainly give it a try. They also have Chinese beer and a good selection of other drinks. The buffet is large and varied. The sushi, in particular, was surprisingly good – fresh, neatly presented, and with a wide selection. The hot dishes are typical Chinese: duck, chicken, fried noodles, vegetables – all solid and tasty. The service was friendly, and the restaurant itself is large and well-maintained. When you order food freshly prepared in a wok, it's then delivered directly to your table by robot. We like going out, but they have a smaller food selection and are a bit more expensive.

We used to go there often for over two years, often with friends and family. But not anymore, as the food quality has unfortunately declined significantly. The salmon in the sushi smelled fishy the last few times (which it usually doesn't), and the yellow fruit in the sushi was spoiled. It's impossible to go on weekends because the food from lunch/afternoon sits there, and you can taste it :-( For example, the sushi rice is dried out, and the fried food is soggy. Even the chocolate fountain is different than usual. The chocolate suddenly hardens very quickly and isn't as sweet anymore. We loved going there; the staff is always so friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. I hope the quality issues improve eventually so we can go back. Until then, we're looking for an alternative.

We ate there for the first time today. It was okay, but I wasn't impressed. Pretty standard buffet fare. While the à la carte dishes were nicely presented, they lacked complexity (which is exactly what I consider essential to Asian food). If you're looking for simple, large portions of meat, this restaurant might get 5 stars. Unfortunately, it's not really for me.

Absolutely disappointing! The staff were incredibly unfriendly and even brazenly accused us of lying – the nerve! Such disrespectful behavior towards paying guests is completely unacceptable. Anyone who goes here should be prepared for an unpleasant atmosphere. Never again!

All you can eat? Check. Drinks and desserts? Double check. I felt like I was in paradise, only without the flying fried chicken, but with a robot that brings your food directly to your table! (I swear, I almost tipped him.) The buffet is huge and so varied that you have to consider ordering two stomachs at once. And the staff? Attentive, friendly, and always there with a smile. The bottom line: If you're hungry, come here. If you're not, make yourself hungry first and then come here.

If you're eating there in large groups, everyone pays together. Their trick is to rip people off and claim they haven't paid yet. The food was quite good, though, and the atmosphere was just as good. Service was nonexistent. It's all self-service.

If you like Chinese food and a fresh buffet, you can't miss the "Golden Wu." Delicious, friendly, clean, and a great selection, both from the regular dishes and the buffet where you can put together your own meal and have it freshly prepared. If you can't find what you're looking for here, there's no help for you.

Suggestion for improvement: They could write on the small boards at the buffet whether a dish is vegetarian or vegan. For example, with the spring rolls, you didn't know what was in them. You could have asked, but you didn't want to ask about every dish. But the food tastes great and is fresh, and the service is very friendly and attentive. I'd be happy to come back.

The food is good and varied. The chefs at WOK always make the food good. The little service robot is a bit clumsy but a good service idea.

Eaten on site, large selection, appetizingly prepared. Rarely have I found such well-cooked food. Food from the Mongolian grill is also cooked to perfection, not fried to death like in many other restaurants. Highly recommended

Today for the first time there, a really nice atmosphere. The food was fresh, hot and tasted good. The highlight is the moving robot that brings the freshly fried food to your table. Plenty of choice of main course, dessert and drinks. Price for all inclusive was €33.90 per person. Price completely ok. Gladly again 👍

The food here is very tasty and there is a diverse selection of dishes prepared by the chef in an open kitchen. In addition, this restaurant has a cool robot that brings the food to your table (a mega highlight for the kids) 😉.

We go there with up to 6 people about 4 - 5 times a year. We really like it here. Unfortunately there is no longer a lunch buffet on Fridays, but it still takes place on Saturdays.

Overall, a great experience! Unfortunately, the sushi was inedible. The rice was completely dry. I've had better all-you-can-eat options. Otherwise, the food was good. :)

Today was our first time there. We had the lunch buffet for €19.90. The quality and service were more than justified. Great selection, friendly service, and the atmosphere was very good. We ate the lunch buffet on Saturday. Unfortunately, the duck, chicken, and noodles were only lukewarm. The food tasted very good, though. The restaurant is very clean and lovingly decorated. Unfortunately, it was very cold in the restaurant—and by cold, I mean really cold. This made the atmosphere poor. But that's probably due to the high energy prices. The staff were friendly and helpful. I only gave the food three stars because it was too cold. The taste was very good.

First and last time. Hair in the food + cold food. Very limited selection and unfriendly staff who don't try to accommodate you.

We have eaten at Golden Wu several times now, especially for birthdays, and have been satisfied every time. Everyone will find something at the buffet here. Vegetarians can also use the opportunity to put together their own dishes for the wok, and a drinks flat rate is included in the price of the buffet. The restaurant itself is spacious and pleasantly decorated, it doesn't feel like a cafeteria, which is unfortunately the case with many similar buffets. The staff is friendly and quick on their feet, and telephone reservations have worked smoothly so far. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone traveling with a larger group with different tastes, or simply for a nice evening of fine dining. I would particularly like to mention the Cola chicken and the spicy curry white cabbage salad. We'll definitely come back.

It's a really nice restaurant, the people are super friendly and always helpful. The buffet is well stocked and you can get everything your heart desires! The service robot was really my highlight of the evening for me personally. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone ❤️.

We had the buffet with 4 people, everything was as good as the last time we visited about 1.5 to 2 years ago. What shocked me this time, however, was the price: around 134 euros, including soft drinks. i.e. 33.50 euros per person. In my opinion, that's far too much if you have normal quantities.

The food was simply amazing - a huge selection of dishes and desserts, all of which were super delicious. What particularly impressed me was that the drinks are free and you can drink as much as you want. The variety of drinks on offer rounded the whole thing off perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere cozy and inviting. I highly recommend Golden Wu and will definitely be back!

Everything great! One star deducted on Sunday for people who don't drink alcoholic beverages. A little too expensive. But we would still like to come back.

I reserved a table for 8 p.m. We were told that there would be a buffet until 9:30 p.m. There is no service at all in the store. We were only told once that we should get the drinks ourselves and that there was a buffet and that was the “service”. The food was so old that it was tough and only lukewarm. Of course nothing was refilled. You also feel very uncomfortable because the employees are obviously gossiping about the guests and they are also yelling at each other across the store. At the end we were asked if everything was good, so of course we said that everything was really bad here. They then wanted to tell us that it was our fault because we came so late and then it's normal that we get bad food. To top it off, we were insulted and a woman came out of the kitchen with her dog... This store is really the worst I've ever been to.

Prices were increased by more than 10%. Buffet all inclusive is now just under 34 euros. Still OK though.

I have been to the restaurant several times with guests. Always very satisfied. Fun with the staff, the boss was very friendly and, upon request, had the robot deliver a birthday song.

The food was very bad. The so-called “Fried Sushi” simply consists of (this is what it looked like and this is how it tasted) the sushi from the previous day, simply fried. Everything else wasn't as convincing and relatively dry. The chocolate fountain wasn't even turned on even though there was one with chocolate. The only good thing was the meat at the buffet. -Paul

We entered the shop at 10 to 9...it closes at 10 p.m., we just wanted to have something to eat and we were immediately greeted with the words "the buffet is about to close" even though we still had an hour to spare. I then said that it was only 10 to 9 and she gave me a curt answer, so I left the store again. Dirty shop

Everything was wonderful, GREAT, FOOD OF THE FINEST, Mr. and Mrs. Wu are fine people

The food is really good there. Also the selection of drinks. The following thing struck us negatively... we were there with a larger group (32 people)... the waitress told us at the table after the two hours for the buffet were over that we would have to pay an additional charge of €5 for each additional hour NOT having to pay if we just sit there. So we gave ourselves about 20 minutes to let the food sink in a bit. The restaurant was at most half full throughout the evening. When we went out, however, she asked each of us to pay extra because she couldn't understand who had stuck to it. The same service person, mind you. This is a business practice that I find absolutely unacceptable, as agreements should be adhered to.

I feel exactly like Michael. I was there that evening. The food was great; There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. At first I thought the waitress was having a bad day because she seemed so stroppy. (It can happen sometimes). However, if you read the reviews here, these days probably happen more often. First telling us we can stay seated after the 2 hours; Only if we eat and drink something else, we have to pay another €5. I find it a complete impudence to just bluntly deduct €5 more from each of us at the checkout. “You can’t control it!” Oh, right; But she already knew that 45 minutes beforehand. So, no more drinking (if we had known)... So, dear “Golden Wu”, most people will definitely not come to you again and something like this will spread like wildfire. It's not about the €5 for me, but I don't like to be taken for a ride. You haven't made any friends with our large group!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! EXTREMELY unfriendly. Waited half an hour and the food from the grill was still not there (only 2 plates in front of mine). The sushi was literally SUCKING, so sour that it turned everything around. The finished meat was either raw or dead. If we hadn't asked the table next to us we would still be waiting for something to drink because no one tells us it's self-service. And we had to pay in full for that, even though the two of us only had almost 1 glass of lemon-infused water and a plate of the "finished" food, which went into the toilet because it didn't come from the grill. The food is not even brought by itself, but by a robot that is extremely loud. Every snack shop is better. And something like that is called a restaurant.

The food is good with plenty of choice. The nice thing is that the drinks are included in the price so there are no additional costs. The drinks are plentiful and not "cheap brands". It's very clean and the service is friendly. A small highlight is the robot that brings the food prepared by the chef to your table.

Very large portions and surprisingly tasty. We pre-ordered and picked up the food in 20 minutes. Had a buffet today. Insane selection and very good quality. With drinks, lots of different ones, as much as you want, only 29.90 per person. I find that very cheap. You can also eat coffee, dessert and many sea creatures such as fish, mussels etc. from the buffet here. We recommend.

Let's start with the good things. The staff is friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the language is a bit difficult for some. Unfortunately, the already finished food at the buffet, immediately after opening at 5:30 p.m., is already dry or so indefinably overcooked that you can't recognize it. Furthermore, the temperature leaves a lot to be desired. The food prepared at the counter, meat and fish were killed multiple times. Unfortunately not in a positive sense. The salmon was fried until it was definitely dead and dry. Definitely not again.

The urinals in the toilets are built in such a way that when you walk past them, they all go off. The sushi🍣 is a bit older because the rice is very dry. The cake is half frozen and tastes store bought. Everything else is OK.
