Orange Battle at the All-You-Can-Eat Chinese Restaurant in Herten We arrived hungry, a group of five – and left as vitamin C legends. This conveyor belt apparently had only one mission: ORANGES. 🍊🍊🍊 What felt like 120 plates later (mostly just plain oranges), mountains of peels, three imaginary produce bags, and the realization: we'd gone way overboard. We stopped counting somewhere around orange number 40 and started haggling – even the next table joined in the begging, trading, and sympathizing. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere legendary, and the orange supply absolutely limitless. Anyone who leaves hungry only has themselves to blame – anyone who leaves without an orange simply wasn't paying attention.

We went there for the first and last time. Very little selection, and the sushi wasn't great either. Overall, everything was tasteless, and some of the sweets were stale. The atmosphere wasn't inviting, and the service wasn't great either—no menu, and no one asked if we wanted anything else. We were there when they opened, and many items hadn't been put away yet. There are much better Chinese restaurants nearby.

We relied on the overwhelmingly positive reviews and decided to try the restaurant with the conveyor belt and buffet. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The restaurant was very empty for a Saturday evening; besides our table, only 3-4 other tables were occupied. As a result, not much food was being served from the conveyor belt, and the food kept circling endlessly, so everything we took from the belt was cold. The buffet was also a complete disappointment. Everything was lukewarm, if anything. The desserts from the conveyor belt were also underwhelming. The only thing that impressed us was the sushi. The service was only attentive at the beginning to take our drink order. We weren't cleared or asked if we wanted anything else. Sadly, this was our first and last visit.

Fantastic! Definitely worth experiencing! The food was delicious and the service very friendly. The conveyor belt with its small bowls of various specialties is particularly fun to try and discover something new each time. It's enjoyable and very tasty. To top it all off, the house even offers a magic potion and fortune cookies... bravo!

I visited this restaurant specifically for their conveyor belt sushi. I was very satisfied with the value for money. The conveyor belt offered not only sushi but also a variety of other delicacies, including dessert. While they do offer regular dishes at the buffet, I was perfectly happy with the selection that passed by and didn't bother with it. My only criticism is that the sushi selection could sometimes be a bit larger. Everything was delicious, though.

We found the food to be poor. I can't understand the good reviews.

Almost everything is seasoned and pickled with vinegar. The sushi was good, but the rice was inedible. The restroom was dirty and uncleaned. The waiters were unfriendly, and I felt like I wasn't welcome in the restaurant.

All-you-can-eat buffet at Taiyang. The service is super friendly, and the food tastes consistently fresh, not like soggy buffet food. Absolutely worth the price; we were once again incredibly full and satisfied. A definite recommendation!

The sushi from the conveyor belt was excellent, the buffet and the other items from the conveyor belt were rather poor, but the sushi was more than filling, and the €20 was worth it! The restaurant wasn't exactly cozy, and the service was a bit unfriendly, but you had peace and quiet and the food was excellent.

Probably the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at! I felt really sick after we left. I can only advise everyone not to eat here. Plus, there are so many families with small children who are constantly touching the conveyor belt and putting plates back in their places. It's a complete disaster and unhygienic!

Nice restaurant, but it smelled strongly of grease, which was a bit annoying. The buffet was a bit meager, with not a large selection. Unfortunately, I didn't like the food at all; all the meat I tried had a vinegary taste. The rice and noodles were cold, and the spring rolls were frozen, as were the desserts. Free parking in front of the building.

I was there for lunch today, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was always well-stocked and looked fresh, but a lot of it was salty, which I told the staff. The downside is that air conditioning is necessary, and there are flies flying around. I don't know if I'd go again.

I arrived at 5:35 p.m., starving, and to my surprise, it was already quite busy. Particularly unpleasant: a chicken skewer my companion had was ice-cold – straight off the conveyor belt. Simply disgusting. The buffet was okay, but some dishes were temporarily missing or were replenished very slowly. The fried rice had a pungent crab smell – truly unsuitable and off-putting for vegetarians. The drinks were also disappointing: The Coke Zero we ordered turned out to be a stale, uncarbonated Pepsi. Overall, an unsatisfying experience—both culinary and atmospheric. For us, it was definitely our first and last time. I wouldn't recommend it. I would like to point out that the response to my review already shows that the owners aren't professionally equipped to handle negative reviews. FYI: We were there at 5:30 p.m.! Not late in the evening. So much for that.

I was disappointed with the restaurant. We were there in the evening. You could get something from the "conveyor belt" and there were also buffet items. All for the price of €25 per person, excluding drinks. The buffet was OK. However, the selection was smaller, and certain dishes were often empty. I had the feeling they were trying to replenish the food, but couldn't always keep up. I can't find the right words for the conveyor belt. They offered both hot dishes, like meat and noodles, and cold dishes, like sushi, fruit, and cake. A great selection in itself. However, everything ran on the same belt, and the belt was neither chilled nor heated. All the food that came off the belt was at room temperature. I find that very worrying, especially with dishes like sushi with raw salmon. Especially since you don't know how many rounds the food has already made. The waitress came once at the beginning to take and bring the drinks. After that, we didn't see her again for a long time. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait and see if we could see them and pay. For me, the price-performance ratio is out of proportion, and I've seen much better restaurants.

Review of the Taiyang Chinese Restaurant in Rheinfelden I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at the Taiyang Chinese Restaurant in Rheinfelden – a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The three of us opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet and conveyor belt option and sampled a wide selection of dishes. From spicy Peking soup to fresh sushi to crispy duck and various desserts – all the dishes were delicious and of good quality. We particularly appreciated the variety and freshness of the food on offer. The value for money is also very fair and convincing. The restrooms are clean and perfectly adequate. There is also ample parking on site, which makes the visit even more pleasant. Conclusion: A highly recommended restaurant for lovers of Asian cuisine – we would gladly return!

The food was a 10/10. Delicious. Highly recommended. We had all you can eat and were able to take as much as we wanted from the conveyor belt, the buffet and the ice cream counter. The staff was very friendly, but it sometimes took a while to ask something, but that was completely ok. There wasn't much going on and therefore very pleasant. The music was playing quietly in the background. Everything perfect. We will definitely come here again.

The best years seem to be over. The place was pretty empty on a Thursday evening. The dishes on the conveyor belt were rather boring, the meat at the buffet was good. The children had fun.

We were there for lunch. We chose the buffet. The food is okay, nothing to highlight but not so bad that you couldn't eat it either. The sushi was only provided after we had already eaten, not the best timing. Overall, it's okay, but it's not like I necessarily have to go there.

We loved this restaurant, I came on a trip with my partner and we were interested in eating something Asian, well then we found this one and the truth is that it is tens of thousands, we had not made a reservation and there were a lot of people when we arrived but the guy at the counter came to us very kindly, we waited only a few minutes and he already freed us a table, the sushi without words, delicious!

Ich muss leider sagen, wir waren von dem servierten à la carte Essen sehr enttäuscht. Das frittierte Hühnchen war ein reines Convenience Produkt, aber leider von der schlechten Sorte. Die Konsistenz sehr pappig und mehlig, insgesamt bestand es maximal zu 30% aus zusammengefügtem Hühnchen, der Rest aus vor Fett triefender Panade. Es gab keinerlei Gemüse dazu, im Prinzip war beim Orangen Hühnchen nur heiß gemachter Orangensaft mit Gelatine und Reis dabei. Insgesamt einfach ungenießbar, haben nach zwei Bissen das Essen komplett zurückgehen lassen.

I ordered in TooGoodToGo, arrived, but everything was already tidied up. The employee apologized for that. So: I drove for free for 15 minutes and now I'm even more hungry.

Unfortunately I have to say that my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. There are several points that really bothered me: 1. *Hygiene issues*: There seem to be serious issues in the kitchen, both in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. There are rumors that people even smoke there, which is completely unacceptable from a hygienic point of view. 2. *Unprofessional behavior*: During an inspection, expired cream was apparently hidden in the women's toilet and brought back to the warehouse after the inspection. Such practices are extremely questionable and give the impression that food is not handled very carefully here. 3. *Inappropriate response to hygiene problems*: Two guests recently had health problems so severe that they vomited in the toilet. Unfortunately, the area was not cleaned immediately, which further questions the hygiene standards. 4. *Quality of food*: The food was often either lukewarm or cold, indicating that it was either reheated several times or not freshly prepared. This is unacceptable in a restaurant and unfortunately made the overall impression even worse. I hope this restaurant works on the issues mentioned, but at this time I cannot recommend it based on these experiences.

The food itself was quite good, but there was just not enough choice at the all you can eat buffet. The self-service station, on the other hand, was quite good and it tasted very tasty.

The food was very tasty. You can use the treadmill and also serve yourself at the warm buffet, and the selection was good. The price is reasonable. It wasn't that crowded on Saturday evening either.

Very quiet restaurant and very nice waitress, those are the only positive points. The food was not good, the tastes were questionable. The cabbages were served still frozen, the sushi from Running Sushi not fresh. All products were too fatty, salty or bitter. The height remains the soup which is industrial. In short, €57 for two was a steal.

I came for the second time after a while. I am not satisfied, the price is not compatible with the quality. Little variety of dishes, on the strip I also found nothing, I only took 3 pots of two sushi. So I find that it’s really very expensive for this service.

Quick Service,, excellent sushi and nice buffet. Fresh fruits and tasty ice cream. In the washroom there is an awful smell of deep fryer oil, so I was happy to go out again.

The China Taiyang in Rheinfelden is an excellent restaurant with an impressive buffet system. For a fixed amount you can choose from a variety of delicious dishes to your heart's content. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, and the buffet is constantly replenished. Overall, a great experience for Chinese cuisine lovers.

I was there for the buffet and it was very tasty. There was a good selection of different dishes, everything was well labeled. The staff was very friendly.

Unfortunately, after our visit today, it really wasn't recommended. All of the food on the conveyor belt was cold and tasted like it had already done a few laps. We then switched to the normal buffet. The food there was warm but nothing special and with every meal there is a consistent aftertaste. All in all really not good and for the price of around €25 per person there are definitely better alternatives.

We come here regularly. Price-performance is excellent. Good food, friendly staff and great prices make this restaurant one of my favorite places!

I can't recommend it. Garden dirty, cigarette butts on the floor. Tables not clean. No spit protection at the buffet due to the plague of flies. For the same price for the buffet I have three times as much choice in other restaurants.

Unfortunately the food has lost a lot of quality and taste... We were on the treadmill today and had nothing from it. By the time we got something, almost everything was gone. The service is very friendly but not really attentive. I also got such stomach pains from eating in the restaurant that even made me throw up. It's a real shame, it used to be much better.

All around successful evening. New and fresh small portions were continually placed on the conveyor belt. The plates, which had already run several laps, were no longer hot but rather lukewarm to cold, which didn't bother us personally since it's part of the treadmill. The food otherwise was good. We also thought it was great that the treadmill and buffet belong together. The service was attentive and friendly. Great value for money! We'll definitely come back.

I was there yesterday with a friend. It was ok, all can you eat for about 22 euros. Buffet was lukewarm. Very empty place, hardly any visitors on site. Staff tried hard, but not very attentive. Difficult to recommend with a clear conscience.

kein besonderes Essen, Ente entweder überbraten oder zu wenig gebraten, nix war richtig lecker, nur das Gemüse war gut und knackig. Die ist das schechtste von allen Chinabuffetrestairants die ich die letzten 3 Jahre besuchte. Das Sushi Laufband ist nett nur rattern die Teller. Der Abendpreis von 23,50 ist ok aber dennoch das Geld nicht wert.

Service war aufmerksam und freundlich! - ein Stern beim Essen: da heute das Sushi auf dem Band eher eine Rarität war. - ein Stern beim Service: Trainerhosen und irgendein Oberteil… wenigstens ein einheitliches T-Shirt fürs Personal wäre Doch schon mal was ! - zwei Sterne Ambiente: Aussenbereich heruntergekommen. Innenbereichen: i.O. Zum Teil wirkt es etwas heruntergekommen.

Klassische chinesische Küche mit Mittags und Abenduffet. War immer sehr lecker und das Personal äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam.

Auf dem Laufband waren nur wenige interessante Sachen. Zuwenig Sushi Auswahl und lieblos arrangiert. Das Buffet hätte eine angenehme Auswahl, aber zwischen 19 und 20 Uhr, war allles immer leer und es wurde nur zögerlich nachgefüllt. Der Tellerwärmer wurde bewusst ausgeschaltet und somit war auch das Essen nicht mehr heiss, wenn man beim Tisch war. Einen gemütlichen Anlass mit Freunden würde ich nicht dort verbringen wollen.

Waren abends gegen 21 Uhr nach langer Autofahrt dort spontan zum Essen ... Die Auswahl am Buffet und auf dem Laufband war um die Uhrzeit erwartungsgemäß nicht mehr allzu groß, zumal es ja auch Montag Abend war ... Aber die sehr freundliche Bedienung hat uns mehrfach gefragt, ob man uns noch unterschiedliche Speisen nachfüllen solle. Wir haben uns für 2x Buffet und 1 Kartengericht entschieden, alles schmeckte hervorragend und hat uns wahrlich satt gemacht. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Waren zum Abendessen da - war sehr sehr lecker! Auch die Bedienung war äusserst höflich und aufmerksam, so wie man es sich wünscht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen war sehr Lecker es hätte nur gerne etwas wärmer sein können aber sonst war alles gut.

Preis-Leistung des Buffets und des Running-Sushi passt. Das Running-Sushi Band ist leider nicht gekühlt und die Speisen laufen bei wenig Betrieb recht lange im Kreis und sind daher auch nicht mehr ganz frisch. Geschmacklich dennoch gut. Die Gyosa und das Rindfleisch waren sehr gut.
