After a long absence, we went to Shilton again for my daughter's birthday. Definitely not my first choice, but who, as a wise father, would contradict his daughter. To put it bluntly, I was pleasantly disappointed. Friendly welcome once you get used to the somewhat kitschy ambience, but then you enjoy a very successful foray into Chinese cuisine with "family happiness". And a service that was always there when you needed it. Thought transference?? Just the Chinese wine, oh dear. Quite rightly, it is hardly known to us. Go eat there but for God's sake drink something else. We'd love to come back. Clear recommendation

I like being in this restaurant, you receive a warm welcome, drinks and food are brought out within a very short time, communication with the staff is excellent, and during most stays the boss also asks about your well-being.

Everything was great, except for the staff who served us, who was a complete disgrace.

Ordered crispy chicken to take away. Unfortunately a disappointment. These were fried chicken "strips" so to speak, nuggets with a long worm look. Not visually enjoyable. Certainly not artistic. The only good thing was the vegetables. And that for €18.50. That was nothing.

Shilton is always a culinary experience. Quality and taste first choice. And that with regular visits. The boss is very nice and the service is quick, friendly and polite. My favorite place.😀

Good Chinese food, with a specials menu that provides some real, harder to find traditional options. Staff is always attentive and friendly. Prices are fair, and the restaurant is very open with an interesting turtle and goldfish area in the middle. We are often then once a week and enjoy the overall friendliness.

It was really a great evening. We come here often and enjoy it. The food is always very good, the meat is soft and the price-performance ratio is great. Only the spicy dishes could be a little spicier for me, but the chili paste on the table makes it easy to adjust to taste. The staff is always very nice and accommodating and the atmosphere with the turtle tank is really great. Thank you for the great evening, we'll be happy to come back

We were at Shilton for the first time today. At the beginning we received a very friendly welcome. The food was very good and fresh. The optics are absolutely great. The turtle pool gives the restaurant a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening

Overall 2.5/5. Had sweet and sour baked chicken, Peking soup and a small dessert for lunch. Food 1.5/5: No taste Service 3/5: Was OK. Ambience 4/4: Nicely decorated Wouldn't go there again now.

It was my first time in this Chinese restaurant and it was a great experience. From the hostess at the entrance that placed us at a table, the ambience was very nice with dim light and beautiful decorations, an aquarium with fishes and turtles and the most important part, the food, was excellent We ordered fried duck with rice fried, soup for starter and a couple of drinks. The duck skin was crispy and very tasty, also the presentation of the plates (they bring a little kind of stove to the table to keep the dishes hot) the rice was cooked to perfection and the soup was rich and creamy After the meal we walked around the restaurant watching the aquarium with fishes in it. I would totally recommend this restaurant

My duck meat was "fried to death" and therefore very dry. The beef with onions was a wormy beef consistency. We've had better Chinese food.

Sehr authentisches China Restaurant mit extra Karte mit Spezialitäten die man sonst in und um München selten bis gar nicht findet. In der Mitte des Restaurants befindet sich ein Koiteich mit Schildkröten. Ich komme hier immer gerne zum Essen.

Sehr enttäuscht im Internet steht geöffnet. Bin knapp 80km umsonst gefahren. Sehr ärgerlich

Die Speisen waren sehr gut, reichlich und es gab fast keine Wartezeit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind für diese Menge in Ordnung und nicht überteuert. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle gerne wieder. Weiter so. 👍

Wir sind schon ein paarmal da gewesen und ich kann nur positives sagen! Letzte Woche haben wir mein Geburtstag gefeiert und ich habe auch ein Geschenk von dem Chef erhalten! Seeeeehr nett! Also , nichts wie hin ! Das Essen ist super und die Ambiente sowieso! Gibt auch eine Spielecke für Kinder! Und in der Mitte des Restaurants gibt eine Art Teich mit Goldfische und viele Schildkröten! Sehr , sehr schön !

Sehr sehr angenehmes chinesisches Restaurant. Man sitzt an ruhigen leicht abgetrennten Tischen. Service war super nett und schnell. Essen, vorallem die Ente, war unglaublich lecker. Hat nichts mit Enten zu tun die man beim Lieferdienst bekommt. Wir hatten auch unsere Hündin dabei und war gar kein Problem, haben auch direkt Wasser bekommen. Das Ambiente ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, vorallem die Kois und Schildkröten machen das ganze sehr schön. Preislich super gut, bisschen über 20€ für ne Ente ist vollkommen gerechtfertigt für die Menge und den Geschmack.

Die Soße vom Hühnchen süß sauer war wässrig. Der Reis war auch wässrig..Das essen war eine große Enttäuschung.

Seit 15 Jahren sind wir mindestens 1 bis 2 Mal im Monat hier. Seit 15 Jahren sind die Speisen in unveränderter sehr guter Qualität. Extrawünsche werden bei der Bestellung berücksichtigt. Die Inhaberin geht durchs Restaurant und begrüßt die Gäste persönlich und fragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, was ich als sehr wertschätzend empfinde. Selbst wenn das Restaurant voll ausgelastet ist, ist der Service schnell und freundlich. Wir sind Fans dieses Restaurants und kommen immer wieder gern her.

I had scalloped chicken in sweet and sour sauce. The meat was admittedly very tender and digestible, but as the only vegetable addition there were bean sprouts - that is simply too little. The sauce tasted, but the many artificial flavorings and preservatives are neither digestible nor healthy for the body. Since the sauce was the only seasoning, the rest was rather bland. The service reminded me more of barracks style canteen manners. The waitress not only forgot to ask us about the dessert that was included in the menu, but also made us wait for the bill.... Anyway, the portions are decent and the prices fair. So if you're looking for large portions, comparatively inexpensive food, and you're not exactly a foodie, this is the place for you to go.

Nettes Restaurant mit Garten. Waren zum Mittagessen hier und es war sehr gut besucht. Das Mittagsmenü ist mit Vorspeise und Nachspeise. Preislich sehr fair und lecker.

Das beste chinesische Restaurant weit und breit. Hier schmeckt alles super lecker. Die Entenstücke schön knusprig und perfekt gewürzt. Die beste Frühlingsrollen die ich je gegesen habe. Super Ambiente, toll auch für jeden besonderen Anlass.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Nicht ganz preiswert aber sonst passt wirklich alles!

Guter Chinese, extrem kinderfreundlich. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Was mir gut gefallen hat ist, dass gebackenes Hühnchen nicht im dicken Teigmantel zubereitet wird, sondern mit Panko paniert ist. Preise sind fair, daher 4*. Im Vergleich mit anderen chinesischen Restaurants gebe ich 5* Peking Ente als Menü ist ein Erlebnis, auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Das beste chinesische Restaurant in und um München. Jede positive Bewertung die sie lesen, es wird ihnen nicht gerecht überzeugen sie sich bitte selbst. Die Speisen sind immer frisch und die Qualität ist immer erstklassig. Wir waren hier zu Stoßzeiten am Abend wo man keinen Platz ohne Reservierung kriegt sowie am Nachmittag wo gerade eröffnet wurde. Außer dass die Zubereitung schneller geht, die Qualität aber dauerhaft erstklassig bleibt gibt es hier keinen Unterschied. Ebenso das Personal agiert und reagiert immer freundlich auch wenn die Hölle los ist. Vom Abräumer bis zur Leitung, alle packen an und sind immer vor Ort. Zum Essen möchte ich sagen - von der Vorspeise bis zum Obstteller - ERSTKLASSIG. Ich muss sie nochmal bitten, probieren sie es und lassen sie sich überzeugen. Nach unserem gefühlten 10 Besuch sind wir immer noch wie beim ersten mal angetan und kugeln sozusagen mit vollem Bauch aus dem Restaurant. Danke ☺️✌️

Das Essen ist lecker und ausreichend vorhanden. Der Service ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wären in einer größeren Gesellschaft im Nebenraum. Hier war es eine organisatorische Herausforderung für die Servicekraft, die leider ab und zu etwas verloren und verwirrt zu sein schien. Ansonsten ist das Restaurant gut zu empfehlen. 👍🏻

Großzügiges, authentisches Restaurant. Anlage mit Schildkröten und Fischen zum Anschauen (Kinder!). "Echte" chinesische Küche sowie die "ver-deutschte" chinesische Variante für den "Standardbesucher" (Ente, Nudeln, Reis etc.) Super schnelle Zubereitung. Anholservice auch top.

Wir waren wieder total zufrieden, haben diesmal eine Platte für 2 Personen gewählt mit 5 verschiedenen Gerichten. Toll!

Obwohl: den leckeren Italiener gegenüber kann ich wärmstens empfehlen! Sicher haben Sie Mitarbeiter, die solche Informationen hinterlegen können. Daran zu denken, ist Chef-Sache !
