Based on the many positive reviews, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the food on New Year's Eve was very bland and disappointing overall. The taste was not at all convincing.

Lunch menu. The selection was enormous and delicious. For my birthday, it was about €15 per person. And a robot even came along and sang "Happy Birthday." Totally awesome! I'd definitely go again. Absolutely fantastic!

We have been regular customers at this restaurant for the past few years and have always been satisfied. However, our last visit was unfortunately a very bad experience. We were two adults and a 3-year-old child (GALA BUFFET). Several hours after eating, we developed severe symptoms: rashes, redness, swelling, and general malaise. Our condition became so severe that we eventually had to go to the hospital. The doctor confirmed food poisoning and said that something spoiled was most likely the cause, possibly a fish product, as this is typical for such symptoms. We would like to emphasize that we are from Greece and have eaten seafood and fish very frequently throughout our lives without ever having had an allergic reaction. Therefore, this experience was particularly surprising and disappointing for us. Even though we used to like the restaurant, this incident was a huge shock. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Wow! Though it was a good drive away from the city, Phoenix is most definitely worth it! We went early afternoon for the open buffet. A great selection of meat, fish, poultry, vegetables, noodles... Plus soup, sushi and sweets/fruits. No grill in the afternoon - that's in the evenings (boo!) But we stuffed ourselves silly all the same! Very, very clean premises. All the food was fresh, hot and tasty. Service was super friendly and attentive. Price range is average for this kind of establishment. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and will most certainly be visiting again soon! PS - Plenty of seating and plenty of parking available!

We ate here again after a long time and it was absolutely delicious. The selection was more than ample. The service was very friendly. We felt very comfortable and welcome. When making the reservation, I mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary and were surprised with a small gift. Thank you again for that.

Upon arrival, we were told that our telephone reservation, made via an automated phone system, was valid from 8 pm, even though we had clearly and loudly stated on the phone that we had reserved for 6:30 pm. Nevertheless, we were kindly shown to a table. The server led us to the table and immediately wanted to take our drink orders. I found this pushy and unfriendly. I asked to look at the menu first. Despite this, the server remained at the table, pacing nervously. This also felt very intrusive. Unfortunately, this fits the atmosphere, as it's all about quick, mass service and clearing the table as quickly as possible for the next guests. The food was generally okay to good. There were some minor issues, such as the honey for the fried bananas not being real honey. It was more like a liquid syrup with no flavor. The fried food that you pick up yourself was delicious and well-seasoned. The buffet has a wide selection of all kinds of dishes: appetizers, main courses, and desserts. A small, unique feature is that a self-driving robot delivers the fried food to the table. Personally, I wouldn't want to eat there again. It wasn't so much the food that was the problem, but rather the atmosphere. I found it too loud and the service generally unfriendly, as they seemed focused on quickly freeing up the table. Nevertheless, I appreciated that we were given a table despite the reservation error. The staff recommended that we book online rather than by phone.

Exceptionally good Chinese restaurant with an all-you-can-eat buffet or a card menu, whichever you prefer. A robot is part of the staff and surprises birthday guests. All in all, a good restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended, otherwise you'll have to compromise on time.

The food was very good, with a few minor exceptions. The sushi wasn't the best, as it was quite dry. The meat and the rice/noodle dishes were very good. At €14.90 per person, it's also very reasonably priced for a buffet. The dessert was also very good.

Hardly any customers at lunchtime. Half the buffet selection was available. After dessert, the waiter immediately brought the bill without us even asking – we felt rushed. Disappointing, unfortunately.

"Arrogant and unfriendly"... Right at reception, we were treated rudely by the arrogant person. They didn't even let us wait; we were asked to leave and not wait simply because the place was full and we wanted to wait. I will never go there again; I have never experienced such arrogance in my life. They grew up on customers, and now they don't need to be like that anymore.

Every time, I'm sent to the conservatory with my two small children because the AI ​​model on the phone only accepts adults. Then the staff said it wasn't our problem, and they didn't offer us any assistance, let alone any help.

My family and I always enjoy going to the Phoenix Chinese Restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with love. The buffet and grill are especially amazing – there's something for everyone! The staff is always friendly, and you feel welcome. For me, everything is just right here: the taste, the service, and the atmosphere. A definite 5 stars from the bottom of my heart! 🌟

But all in all, a lovely evening with friends and good food! We'd love to go back!👍

We were thrilled with our visit to this Chinese restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and there was a truly wide selection of dishes, with something for every taste. I would especially like to highlight the service: our waiter, Rajmund, was simply fantastic! With his friendly, attentive, and charming manner, he made our visit truly special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant!

We've been to this restaurant several times; most recently, my wife and I were there on Saturday, September 20, 2025. We wanted to sit at a free table in the winter garden, but were then shown to another table because of an unmarked reservation. This table was right by the open window, so we wanted to sit at another free table that hadn't been cleared yet. The very arrogant manager personally told us that we wouldn't be allowed to sit until the table had been cleared, so we should stay next to the table. Because my wife had back pain, she sat down on a chair at the table anyway. This was too much for the manager, and he asked us to leave the restaurant immediately, saying that we wouldn't be served there. Apparently, the place is doing too well, at least on weekends, to treat customers with respect and decency. We will never set foot in this restaurant again.

I was just eating. The boss kicked us out. We've been coming here for years to eat. It's simply a disgrace. I wasn't even allowed to finish my meal. That's not how you treat people.

Food was good & everything was nice and warm. Some dishes ran out after 8:30 p.m., which was okay since no guests came that late on a Wednesday evening. At 9 p.m. we got the feeling that it would be nice if we walked slowly. If that hadn't been so obvious in our corner, there would have been 1 star more for the ambience.

You just have to be clear about where you're going in and what for!! And it's not cheap!! The hustle and bustle, the crowds, and the noise are more like a beer tent at the Wasen than an Asian restaurant. But if you can block out everything except the delicious smell, you'll be rewarded. The food makes up for any inconvenience. It wasn't the first time there and it won't be the last.

The lunch buffet offers a good, varied selection at a fair price. Drink prices are also reasonable. All dishes were neatly and appetizingly presented. Attention was also paid to cleanliness. The service was attentive.

You're rather rudely seated in an uncomfortable little cubicle at an uncleaned table because you're bringing a small (and extremely well-groomed) dog with you! There was no greeting or even a word! As for the food: The sushi is worlds better, even at Rewe! But you'd treat yourself to something like that at a sushi restaurant anyway! The quality of the other dishes is just average! MSG in huge quantities! If you like these kinds of buffets, you're much better off going to China City in Echterdingen!...both in terms of the quality of the food and the selection, and especially the ambiance, friendliness, and, last but not least, the huge selection of drinks! So, I'll probably just visit/try this one once!

Newly renovated, the interior is very beautiful and appealing. There's now a Mongolian menu every day, as well as a small à la carte menu. The menu costs €25 per person.

I immediately regretted choosing this restaurant. You can't eat that. Only gluten-free tomatoes. If I had to choose between this restaurant and a butter pretzel, I'd go for the latter.

We were there as a group, delicious food and a fair price for the buffet

We've been here a few times, but today we were extremely disappointed! We personally didn't like the food at all, no matter what we tried. Even our kids didn't like it. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back!

After the renovation, everything was upgraded

The service and ambiance were fine – there's little to complain about. The food, however, was a bitter disappointment. The buffet seemed uninspired and of poor quality: • The fried chicken was dry and tough, • The dumplings had an unpleasantly slimy texture, • Even the onions that accompanied the beef seemed soggy and unappealing. The sushi was also disappointing – bland in flavor, limited in selection, and overall completely unspectacular. Only the dessert and the fruit selection were convincing. The drink prices were fair – but that was about all the positive aspects. We didn't try the freshly prepared dishes – perhaps that would have improved the overall impression. The impression remains, however, of mass production without attention to detail.

We were here from 5 pm. At the reception we were met by a very nice man who showed us to our table, we had booked in advance because there were 9 of us. Throughout the evening he came up to us, asked if everything was okay, if everything was delicious, and took orders for drinks. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo, but there was a lot of food. Everything was delicious. There was sushi, there were hot dishes, there was meat, salads. Eight different flavors of ice cream, lots of fruit. Cakes, and the kids liked the chocolate fountain. Everything was very tasty. But I would have made some kind of playground for the kids, because there were a lot of kids and they were sad. And we liked everything, everything was great.

Very bad service, we hadn't even sat down before we were asked for a drink. We had just gotten our drinks menu when the waitress was back at the table and wanted to take our drinks. After we asked her to give us some time to look at our drinks, she left the table but only after several minutes. Not even 30 seconds later she was back at the table asking for a drink. The waitress was very pushy and unfriendly to boot. I've rarely had such a bad buffet meal, most of the food was cold or lukewarm. The breaded fish, for example, was so hard that you couldn't cut it with a knife. It was our first and last time we were there. We wanted to give the restaurant a chance, otherwise we would have left as soon as we were asked to order our drinks.

The restaurant offers a nice, cozy atmosphere in a very stylish ambience, the food is always rich, varied and always well prepared. The service is also attentive and strives to ensure the well-being and every wish of the guests. The only downside is that children aged 10 and over (especially at the evening buffet) pay the full price, even though they don't eat nearly as much as adults at that age (own experience). An increase to the full price for those aged 14 and over would be desirable. Nevertheless: I'd love to do it again and again!

We always used to eat here and it was really good. Now again for a long time. Everything was so dry. But the hardness was still over half an hour before closing time, my husband, who had just had something fried and it was hot on the table, was asked that he had to take dessert now and immediately. He was so surprised and got himself some ice cream because he really likes it... The food was then lukewarm that he had to eat quickly because otherwise the ice cream would melt. Nice Asian restaurant on the outskirts of Neckartenzlingen. Restaurant is very large and has different rooms. A large buffet is offered with various warm dishes, sushi, Mongolian grill, ... The staff was very friendly and the food tasted mostly good. Unfortunately, the raw ingredients that were ready for the Mongolian grill were a bit disappointing for us. Unfortunately, a lot of things didn't look very inviting, e.g. Shred the salmon, some with the skin in a bowl, or the prawns, some with the shell. I'm used to a different view here from other restaurants. Unfortunately, some of the hot buffet was cold, so care should be taken to add smaller quantities more often.
