Great buffet selection at affordable prices, very attentive and friendly service

This is one of the best "All you can eat" restaurants I have been to. To begin with, the ambience is just incredible. Staffs are super friendly and last but not the least, food is just amazing. I have been there on different days and time and everytime it is great. However, when you want to try something unique go on weekends or in the evenings that is when they offer "Mongolian grill" which is just yumilicious.

The buffet was really delicious, varied, filled up quickly - yummy sushi 😋 - everyone can find something to their liking - we were there after ComicCon and ate way too much :-)

Nice atmosphere, unfortunately the quality of the food doesn't go beyond the usual frozen food. Not really recommended.

The food is okay, but not great either. We came here because the reviews attracted us. The service is inattentive and just hectic. Could have sold a lot more drinks if people had briefly made eye contact while quickly snatching the empty glass and running away. There wasn't so much going on that you could somehow understand it. It was okay. I don't advise anyone to eat here. Of course I wouldn't recommend it either. Just a normal 0815 all-you-can-eat shop.

The food was significantly better. There were leftovers from lunch on the evening buffet. You can do it, but it should at least be warm and not cold. I remember it better. Too bad

Was there to change wheels. I was there before my appointment and got there within 10 minutes. Coffee was served while we waited. And I have two very nice conversations with her Schwarzkopf and hr meiling. I can only recommend the company meiling!!

Chinese buffet as usual. Service very nice. There's not much to say about the food. Typical European buffet. In the evening Mongolian is possible but there is a long waiting time.

Varied buffet, the selection is so large that you can't try everything. Also interesting are kangaroo, ostrich and other types of meat as well as fish and mussels, which are freshly fried in the pan. During the week only the reduced buffet.

Neat space. Now the options in the daily buffet need improvement as the flavors do not stand out whether you get duck or shrimp it tastes the same. The staff should probably start listening to what the customers are saying as the two waitresses who served us halfway through the sentence said ok and left. If they don't know German, let them stay at the bar and let the waiters who know what language come out. Terrible rudeness from all the ladies.

The newly renovated Chinese restaurant is a real asset! As soon as you enter the restaurant you notice the loving and modern design, which still retains the traditional charm. The boss is often present and lends a hand. The service is friendly and attentive, so you feel like you're in good hands. So if you value delicious food in a great atmosphere, you shouldn't miss this restaurant. An absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend canteen food, both in terms of taste and quality. Do real Chinese cook there!? To me everything tastes overfat and the same, the sushi is not freshly prepared (connoisseurs taste and feel it). I hope there is a change in thinking towards quality and taste! Update: After the renovation, the room looks more modern, but for my taste the seating has been pushed together so much that it feels like a canteen. It's completely sufficient for a quick lunch, but in the evening it would simply be too expensive for what it offers

Huge selection, there's a little bit of everything. Service super nice.

The food was super tasty and, above all, fresh. We don't eat at the buffet, but always à la carte. The service lady is very friendly and, as always, everything was great. Even after the renovation. Ambiance has become nicer. The sustainability idea that no food should be wasted is very good. However, this is more due to the guests who then load their plates (too) full. Still, it's great that the restaurant is raising awareness for this. We always enjoy coming back. And price/performance is also very good.

We have been coming to the Phönix for years and have always been satisfied. However, we noticed that there is hardly any sauce left with the Mongolian grill. It seems rather oily and you can't taste whether it's curry or e.g. B. Pepper sauce. It would be nice if that could be changed. If it stays that way, we would think it would be a shame

It's a restaurant that serves average food, but people love it just because it has an "all you can eat" concept. I do not recommend. For 25-30 Euros per person, go and eat decent food elsewhere.

Now very expensive (24.90 plus drinks) compared to before and a real treat. Apparently many people go there to pile up their plates. The quality is ok but not suitable for a cozy meal together. EC payment was easy, organization was good

Good food, but seating too tight!

We have been guests at the Phoenix for many years. After the renovation, we wanted to see how the location had changed and made a reservation for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. We had to wait about 15 minutes at the entrance, which is due to the renovation, because now you are no longer visible in the entrance but behind a large, wide wall. After we were picked up, we were given a nice table for two and admired the conversion. Lots of comfortable seating areas, cool lighting and revamped buffet area. Then the waiter came, asked about the drinks and assumed that we would use the buffet and got the drinks. However, when we asked for a menu afterwards, he became rude and said that the order could take up to three hours because the kitchen was very busy. But the card was brought and carelessly slapped onto the table, as if for second-choice guests. This ruined our mood for the evening. While my wife and I were drinking the drinks, the owner came to us and said that after the renovation it would mainly be a buffet restaurant and that the menu would be kept very small (1 page). Since my wife and I aren't big eaters, EUR 24.90 per person isn't exactly cheap. For the future, the take-away buffet is an option for EUR 10.00 per box, but the Phoenix will definitely lose us as visiting guests. Of course...... 24.90 per person at the buffet is revenue, since not everyone can eat large quantities and preparing large quantities also brings a different margin, but even 40.00 euros like before with a menu was money. And yes, I come from the industry and yes, I know the problem and yet there are many small restaurants that treat customers much better and are not just looking for profit.

There is no better Chinese buffet restaurant than Phoenix. They continually reinvent themselves and invest in the establishment. Even now, thanks to the new room separation, it is very comfortable, even for a private party. The food has been consistent for years and is mega for a buffet! I also like the new information about food waste, so that everyone behaves with the amount on their plates. But the restaurant can't necessarily do anything for its guests. Sanitary area clean. Boss always on site and super friendly, coordinates the staff which is also super accommodating. There is plenty of parking space and there is also space inside for wheelchair users. About the food: The selection is really great and varies from time to time. The sushi is great! There isn't much different, but what there is is mega! Worth a visit for that reason alone. The Mongolian buffet was not occupied on our day, it will probably only be done in the evening, as lunch requires a lot of people and complications can arise.

We've been there a few times, it was always okay, today we were unfortunately parked on the siding, we were in the winter garden, which deserves its name... cold, drafts (my son had his jacket on while eating when we asked if the temperature The waiter laughed and said the patio heaters were just decoration) and there was no light (a candle at the table and a neon tube above the door, again very romantic according to the waiter...) Super narrow, there was only one passage between all the tables to get into the dining room, after the renovation the inside looked nice, unfortunately we didn't have anything and the food was okay, it felt like there was more choice in the past. Super tasty! Lunch buffet with a large selection! On the covered terrace perfect for people with friendly and calm dogs. There is even a water bowl for the dogs on site. We were thrilled about such a relaxed visit to a restaurant with our dog. Friendly staff, great food and quite cheap! Addendum October 24: We used to be regular guests and couldn't come for some time due to personal reasons. Because of the bad reviews, we thought about going here again for a long time. The price-performance ratio is still good. The dishes with fish, meat or shrimp are quite spicy and salty. If you add enough rice or vegetables, it's perfect. We suspect that you want to prevent excessive "heaping on plates" of meat, fish and shrimp. In our opinion, the restaurant is still very good for normal eating habits. By the way, everyone was very friendly. If there is a problem at all it is with a few guests... Great, we'll be back.

Were there on October 1st, 2024. Unfortunately the wrong drinks were brought. Were there at 4:30 p.m., selection was limited at that time. Food was dry and had been sitting for a while. Sushi wasn't good. After the visit we had gastrointestinal problems... The waiter collected his own tip. I wonder how the store can have over 4 stars...

I usually go to the lunch buffet on Saturdays. The selection is sufficient and tastes good. Service is attentive and the prices are ok. You will definitely be full. There is a good selection of Chinese food at the buffet but also fried potatoes, fries, nuggets, etc.

We were there on Sunday September 22nd. The first time there again after the renovation. It turned out beautifully and looks inviting. Unfortunately the service on Sunday wasn't very attentive, everything took a relatively long time, drinks were brought incorrectly and the food from the grill was cold when it arrived. The buffet took quite a long time to be filled up. Maybe it was because there was already a lot going on at 5 p.m. We always go on Sundays and there have never been any complaints about the service. Now about the food. It was ok, but unfortunately not more than that. Sure, the buffet isn't gourmet and you know what you're getting into, but we thought it was better before the renovation. The dishes all tasted pretty consistent. Unfortunately, the food from the grill came to the table cold, so we weren't thrilled either. We know that better too. We will definitely go back, but not as quickly and not as frequently as before the renovation.

Buffet selection is plentiful. Fresh ingredients prepared really well and not overcooked! There is something for everyone. It's always best to make a reservation on the weekend and arrive on time, maybe even a little earlier! Despite having a reservation, we had to wait.

Always a wonderful experience with the whole family. We love eating out here and having a good meal whether it's lunch or dinner.

Very nice restaurant, we were there around 7 o'clock in the evening, it wasn't too crowded. The decor was very appropriate and was really pleasant to look at. The food was warm. If you want to fry something, you can add a small stick so that the things can be fried directly with a sauce. I didn't know it before, but more restaurants can establish a buffet like this. Staff was very friendly.

As always, very good. It's worth it. There's a lot going on at the weekend, but it's more relaxed during the week.

If you want to indulge in baked duck, chicken and the like at All You Can Eat, this is the place for you - if you want to experience something tasty, not so much. Main courses and side dishes are good, the desserts are rather less appealing. 22€ plus a minimum consumption of one drink - can be worth it.

Good restaurant with nice buffet

We ate here again after a few years. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. The service is quick and courteous, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We had fresh ingredients prepared from the deli counter. Unfortunately, everything was extremely fried on one side and not at all on the other. The whole thing was also rather poorly seasoned. The selection leaves little to be desired, but the preparation should also be appropriate. The warm counter also has a large selection, although everything here is fried to death.

The buffet is absolutely amazing. The best Asian buffet. Food is regularly replenished so it is always fresh and hot. You should definitely make a reservation. It's always full hut. In my opinion, hygiene standards are implemented excellently. Always an experience to help yourself to such a great and varied buffet.

Very disappointed with this place. The group gathered to have a fun evening. We booked a table in advance. When we arrived, we were presented with the fact that we could only stay there for 2.5 hours. Of course, we objected, there is no such information anywhere, neither on the website nor when booking. To which we received the answer that the boss ordered it this way and they did not provide us with any more weighty arguments. At the same time, the cafe was 2/3 full. That is, there were a lot of empty seats. I think this is pure arrogance and disrespect for customers. We have enough of them, we can come up with new rules on the go, and if you don’t like it, get out of here.

A few years ago I was here relatively regularly, but as the quality continued to decline, I stopped going. Yesterday (on a public holiday) we were in the area and I wanted to give it another chance. And unfortunately I was disappointed. Already at the entrance we were made to wait; an employee who was walking past, whom we spoke to, waved his hand over his shoulder and walked past us without saying a word and with a grim expression on his face. We actually wanted to turn around. Oh well. When we got to the table we ordered drinks - the prices went up quite a bit. But unfortunately that's the case everywhere. The waiters all seem very unfriendly. Nobody grins voluntarily. Unfortunately, the food hasn't gotten any better in the last few years. The fried rice was completely dried out, the soup was somehow barely seasoned, some things (e.g. calamari) were over-fried and a little too dark, and a lot of things tasted super greasy or just like "nothing". And it often took quite a long time until empty plates were refilled.🙁 My partner had something grilled on the Mongolian grill, but only got about half of what he had previously put on his plate (he didn't get the vegetables at all, just the meat. Where did the vegetables go?!). The restaurant used to be always full, especially on public holidays. Yesterday (mind you, on a public holiday!) less than half of the seats were occupied. That speaks volumes... All in all, unfortunately very disappointing. I/we won't go there anymore.

Anyone who knows the restaurant in Reutlingen will be disappointed with this one. Food was not refilled despite being told that individual dishes were empty. And in terms of selection, it doesn't come close to Reutlingen. Some of the food at the hot buffet wasn't warm either. And the Mongolian food was over fried.

Great restaurant 👍 very good food and cool system

I've been going to this restaurant regularly for over 10 years now. Staff is always friendly, parking spaces are always available, the restaurant including the toilet is always clean! The price is unbeatably fair! It is currently 22 euros per evening. The food, be it from the buffet or from the grill, is always fresh and tasty! The raw meat and dessert are constantly kept cool. The food is grilled to perfection, not dry and not raw! In the meantime, I think some places have fallen short in all respects, while the price has steadily increased. Not this one! If you like Asian, I can absolutely recommend a visit. Keep it up! 💪👍

The selection of dishes was very plentiful and the taste was also okay. Price/performance is also okay. Ambiance is not so nice with the expressway and gas station right in front of the door, but nice seating both inside and outside. My family has been eating here on special occasions for over 5 years. Today we were there again and I have to give a big compliment. They have improved a lot. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The dishes have many variations (we were there for lunch). Whether for vegans, vegetarians, seafood lovers or meat eaters. There is something for everybody. I tried almost everything and what I ate tasted very good. It was flavorful and pleasant to eat. The food tasted fresh and looked fresh too. The lunch buffet had a really large selection. I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is clean and you always get the feeling that the employees are very concerned about the well-being of the customers. The only thing I could complain about would be that the ambience was ok and it was quite loud. But the restaurant can't do anything about it. There are a lot of customers there. The toilets are clean and also smell pleasant. We got a place straight away, even though we didn't have a reservation, on a Friday. Price-performance cannot be beat! I have rarely eaten so well in Germany for such a fair price. Convince yourself. The Phönix remains our favorite restaurant in the area and we are already looking forward to the next time.

Saturday evening for dinner with friends, you expect something special at the buffet, and our expectations were largely met. This is how I imagine the company canteen at the Chinese party conference. You usually get a place for that. For thirteen euros plus a drink (compulsory) for the lunch buffet you get a decent selection of manageable quality.

“If it’s not good, at least it’s enough” Very popular all you can eat restaurant with relatively simple food. There's also sushi, but it's so bad that after one or two pieces you'd rather try something else. Everything here is extremely salty and cooked with the same soy sauce, you know one sauce you all know. For dessert there are delicious things like red and green Jell-O, which I haven't seen since I was a child. There is also a lot of fried food, but everything is unlabeled. So you have to bite into it first to know whether you were lucky or not. I was lucky in that I was relatively full for the moderate price of €13. The typical clientele doesn't seem to mind, it feels like you're watching an episode of the Teletubbies. The restaurant was recommended to me with the words: “Well, we eat there a lot.” Now I understand.
