China Restaurant Neue Welt in Wolfsburg

We were there several times over a long period of time, sometimes for the lunch buffet, sometimes for the evening buffet. We always found the food delicious and the waitresses were attentive but not intrusive. The buffet was frequently refilled, only towards the end some dishes were empty, which I personally find appropriate. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

I'm overwhelmed. Great, bright atmosphere. Staff very attentive and accommodating. Food, in our case buffet, outstanding.

The self-roasting food was burnt.

We've been there several times. Unfortunately, the food is getting saltier and saltier. Some foods are almost impossible to eat and sometimes your throat hurts! That can really just be unhealthy. There are also many vegetarian dishes. But they are also very, very salty. If you have to drink 1.5l of water in the evening and at night after eating (not counting the 0.8l on site) then that is not normal. The Mongolian buffet really packs a punch in this regard; here you can decide for yourself which spice, how much or whether at all. Ambience? Well...we think it has a cafeteria feel. The old restaurant in downtown Fallersleben was nicer back then. Service. Nice and quick at first, but eventually not so attentive anymore.

Heavily salted (oversalted) sauces, overall very salty food. Ordered two drinks and that wasn't enough. The service is friendly and attentive and the buffet was completed in a timely manner.

Delicious food, I especially liked the grilled shrimp with garlic. The atmosphere reminds me of a lunch break in a canteen during USSR time. The service is slow, but it works.

A Chinese as we know it. Very good lunch menu as a buffet with a good selection at fair prices. Very nice and friendly employees.

We had Chinese food again after a long time. It should be the "Neue Welt" restaurant because I'm looking for a place where I can host a formal celebration. It was no problem to reserve one of the larger rooms for a celebration with around 35 to 40 people. The selection of dishes, as always, is very large. A rich buffet welcomes guests right next to the entrance. But we decided against it because we can't eat enough to make the price worth it. At least in the evening, as a weekday lunch, it's unbeatable. So we ate à la carte. We decided on the classic duck, one sweet and sour and one canton = spicy. It was plenty, actually too much. Nothing surprising, but it was good. The service was a bit formal, but very friendly and attentive. The drinks and food were served to us quickly. It tastes almost the same at almost every Chinese restaurant. There are only very small differences. Here it was the vegetables that were a little different from other restaurants. It was still a bit al dente, but cooked to perfection. Very good.

We have been there again for a long time and were unfortunately disappointed. The buffet has become significantly "worse", with less selection, but significantly more expensive. The buffet was refilled very slowly, something was always missing. The staff seems poorly organized. The waiting time for refills was sometimes very long. Mushrooms, for example, were completely sold out. Sold out. There was also more choice for dessert. Nevertheless, pay the full price. We won't be coming back for a while.

Food tasted really disgusting, very soft or rubbery so really disgusting (I mainly spit it out) at least the sweet food saved everything. The service was very nice and often asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The ambience wasn't great either, the heating was apparently switched to full blast even though it was already warm outside and everything was very unhygienic. Not recommended ! Definitely never coming there again!

The buffet was very nicely presented and everything was clean and the fish and meat were kept cool. The food tasted very good.

Well, we've been there several times, but I have to say it's getting more and more expensive and worse. The duck is rarely refilled and is probably too expensive. If you leave it to roast at the buffet, the vegetables are already dried out, some of the meat is half frozen, I don't want to know how often it gets frozen again. There is now almost no filling left in the wontons. So we'd rather go eat somewhere else.

The first impression from the outside isn't great, but when you walk in you'll be surprised by a fairly modern atmosphere. It is clean and tidy.

There was a buffet, unfortunately there were only spicy dishes. For me it's not a hot spot. There were also starters that I could eat. It was clean. My girlfriend liked spicy. There was a lot for her.

Very great restaurant with a buffet, a large selection of warm dishes, Mongolian, sushi and a dessert bar with its own chocolate fountain... Great friendly staff welcome to come.....

So we enjoyed the lunch buffet, it was very tasty and we will come back again and again.

Cozy atmosphere. Rich menu and buffet. Friendly, attentive service. Price/performance ratio top. Outdoor terrace, unfortunately the outside is currently being remodeled.

Buffet is good and the counters are well placed. Service was quick but was moderately busy at lunch time. There is sufficient parking space on site. The toilet could be renovated. The food and the price are good, I would love to stop by again.

We were passing through and had a very good meal here. Friendly reception and friendly service. The food was delicious and varied. We liked it very much.

I had the lunch buffet for 14.90, the food was okay, but the duck was unfortunately very fatty and only available sporadically at the buffet, the sushi was explicit, the rice unfortunately tasted kind of sticky and the sour hot soup was quite thin, the rest The dishes were ok, therefore a solid three stars.

My family was very excited. Everything is fresh, very 😋 tasty and always topped up. I'd love to come back. There was even a chocolate fountain .6 stars 🌟 for that.

Were there at 7:30 p.m., restaurant closes at 9:30 p.m. Nothing was refilled and there was only lukewarm leftover food. Staff was already in cleanup mode. In short, you paid a lot of money for bad food and service. Not recommended, not again.

In itself a solid restaurant, good and varied food choice. The waitresses are nice and competent and the chef does a good job, although a few stars have been deducted because some dishes are not labeled correctly, which unfortunately caused my girlfriend a bit of pain from a sauce that wasn't listed as spicy. ( not so bad ) . The biggest point deduction, however, is the heat, when I say heat I also mean heat (it feels like 40 degrees), so that beads of sweat form when you eat. Otherwise I can recommend it.

Was there for the second time today, with a large family and everything was 👍 Good selection, everything fresh and tasty. We were often asked if everything was OK and no one had to wait when it came to drinks. My clear recommendation is that the next family celebration will also be celebrated here, even though we are not from Wolfsburg 😀

Was on Friday, February 17th. 2023 at 12:15 in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the buffet was quite lukewarm or the food was too cold and there were no shrimps either.

I've always been happy so far, keep it up.

It's always nice to go there. The dishes are very tasty

Went there spontaneously yesterday and just wanted to eat a little something. So we skipped the buffet. The service person could hardly hide her anger at this. She treated us more than unkindly. I got my soup in an aluminum bowl and we paid 50 euros for two soups, one pasta with vegetables, a children's meal with fries and a bottle of water. After 25 minutes we left because we didn't feel well. When we were doing the math in the car, we realized that we had also paid 5 euros too much. So all in all we won't be coming back. .

Wir hatten Mittagsbuffet , immer lecker und viel Auswahl zum Essen ! Immer wieder gerne , komme mit meinen Eltern gerne hier her !

Eine große Auswahl an Speisen, da überlegt man was man nimmt. Das Buffet ist gewaltig und das frisch zubereitete Fleisch oder Fisch sehr lecker. Ach ja die Suppe zum Anfang ist für mich immer ein Genuss.

Das ist das Beste Restaurant im Umkreis Wolfsburg,denn das Essen ist super lecker,die Ambiente und der Sevice sind top,es hat einen schönen Biergarten im Sommer. Das Restaurant ist einfach nur top.

Wir haben das Buffet gegessen war gut aber halt das was es irgendwie überall gibt. Es hätte etwas mehr Auswahl geben können. Wir haben das bei anderen Restaurants zum gleichen Preis schon vielfältiger bekommen.

Das Essen ist ok bis gut 👍, es schmeckt auf jeden Fall. Die Mitarbeiter wirken häufig unfreundlich, sind es aber nicht. Ich glaube eher sie sind etwas gestresst.

Leckeres Buffet, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Hervorzuheben ist der frittierte Pudding - einfach köstlich. Einige Speisen hätten etwas wärmer sein können ok, aber alles trotzdem sehr lecker. Wir kommen gern wieder

Leckeres typisches "deutsches" Chinarestaurant mit den bekannten Speisen und Buffets. Service sehr gut und auch das Essen ist lecker. Nach ein paar Reisen innerhalb Chinas bin ich immer etwas über das "eingedeutschte" Essen traurig. Daher nur die 4 Sterne. Wer einen typischen, leckeren und netten Chinesen in Deutschland sucht ist hier aber goldrichtig

Heute.mit Freunden das Restaurant nach langer Zeit mal wieder besucht. Wir waren zum Abend essen hier, welches ganz okay ist.

Essen zur Mittagszeit hat meiner Meinung nach extrem nachgelassen Geschmacklich und von der Auswahl. Service war super.

Geschmacklich NICHT ZU ÜBERTREFFEN!! Einfach alles schmeckt sensationell köstlich. Da kann kein Fresstempel mit vielleicht größerer Auswahl mithalten. Liebster Lieblings-Chinese. Allerdings sollte man möglichst früh am Abend zum Buffet kommen.

Das Essen bewerte ich nur mit ⭐⭐⭐ leider war es nicht heiß. Vom Geschmack aber sehr lecker.

Leider war das Essen kalt. Der Service ließ sich gar nicht blicken um Getränke nachbestellen zu können. Außerdem wurde direkt neben unserem Tisch der Teich ausgeräumt und sauber gemacht während im Hintergrund vom Service ein Chinesischer? Podcast gehört wurde. Schade um die Zeit 😕

Went here for a family dinner since it is close to where part of the family lives. We took an all you can eat option which is not that cheap but it is acceptable. There are a lot of options for food from meat so vegeterian to sea food options. I tried a couple of options and all were good (spring rolls, pork, veal..), but nothing was excellent. Service was good and efficient when we were ordering drinks. They had a couple of good lagers to choose from. All together a place to visit if you want to eat a big amount of solid Chinese food in the area.

Sehr wenig Auswahl und das mongolische Büfett war zubereitet eine Katastrophe. Zähes Fleisch, viel zu lange gebraten sogar der Fisch war trocken, Gemüse war fast roh, die Sosse nicht sichtbar, auch geschmeckt hat man sie nicht. Ich habe 2 Bissen gegessen, weil es wirklich nicht genießbar war. So schlecht habe ich chinesisch/mongolisch nicht nie gegessen.2 Sterne gibt es für die freundliche Bedienung. Wir werden dort nicht wieder hingehen.

Ein schönes sauberes großes Restaurant. Es gibt ein großes Buffet. Sehr freundliches Personal Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr sehr gut. Man kann auch aus der Karte Gerichte bestellen man muss nicht das Befehl wählen. Aber wenn man dorthin geht würde ich empfehlen das Buffet zu wählen. Buffet reichhaltig immer frische Zutaten und es wird immer frisch eingedeckt

Wir gehen dank des Bonus Buchs recht häufig Essen, so auch ins Restaurant Neue Welt. Die Buffetauswahl ist übersichtlich, aber ausreichend. Die fertig gekochten Gerichte in der Buffetauslage sind leider mit Glutamat gekocht, auch auf die frischen Zutaten des Mongolischen Buffets wurden leider auch mit Glutamat gewürzt. Alles schmeckte gleich salzig und zumindest bei mir blieb ein pelziges Gefühl im Mund zurück. Mein Mann fand es gut und sagte beim Verlassen des Lokals, dass er gerne wieder kommen würde. Ich würde mitkommen, aber dann nur das wirklich gute Sushi und die geröstete Entenbrust essen, denn diese 2 Speiseangebote waren super lecker.

Wir waren erstmals in der neuen Welt essen und haben das Buffet gegessen. Es war sehr reichhaltig und auch sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
