China-Restaurant Neue Ära in Bad Wildungen

We have been going to the restaurant with families for a long time for every occasion, whether it was a birthday. Unfortunately since the owner changed. A lot has changed. There's no cool buffet, you could put it together yourself and choose the sauces. The taste of the buffet is either completely dried out, shrimps no longer taste good, after every refill they taste different. The mussels are huge and drown in some dark sauce that tastes unpleasant. I'm disappointed about the price of the children, for example we were there 3 times. First of all we didn't have to pay anything for the little one, the second time €3.90, the third time €6.90 even though he hadn't eaten anything. Mostly mini plates of fries 🍟 that's all he eats. I think the 4th time he'll pay full price. You are somehow free to decide according to your mood. Since we are usually 10-15 people and it's the same with their children and different prices even though the age was mentioned. And the buffet has deteriorated in the opinion of the guests. Will we go to another regular restaurant because we love Chinese or Mongolian food almost once every 1-2 months. If we hear something that things have gotten better, we might have the next birthday party in Bad Wildungen again. Otherwise all the best as new owner. I love mussels but please don't buy them in this sauce as a soup. It would be nice if you ordered a table at 7 or 8 p.m. and sat down at the table, not having to wait sometimes more than 30 minutes until the warm buffet had to be made because it was empty. Sushi is made once for the whole evening and the tablet is empty, bad luck. The rest is also refilled lean. After 8 people, the buffet is empty again, it is prepared very sparingly, okay I understand when there are few people in the restaurant, but when the place is full I usually see gestures with an empty plate and the buffet has been empty for an hour, only some leftovers are put in, which is already completely dry for the whole evening lies and is dead.

Today we had lunch with 7 people and decided on the buffet. The food was very tasty and filling. The selection of food is good and suits almost every taste. The service was very nice and accommodating. In any case, our Canadian guests were very satisfied. We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

I've been eating at this restaurant for years now and have always been very satisfied. I would like to report on my last visit here. A good friend invited my wife and me to dinner. Since my wife usually drinks less than us men, she wanted to order the buffet for 18.90 euros and we men wanted the buffet for 28.90 euros (all you can eat and drink). As many non-alcoholic drinks and beers as you want are included in the price. The waitress, who seemed very hectic, told us that that wasn't possible, that all three of us had to choose one or the other, that we couldn't do it separately. Well, we accepted that to avoid further discussions. The food afterwards was fine. When we got back home, we discovered that our clothes smelled so strong and pungent of food and cooking that we could smell it all the way down the hallway. We hung everything outside to air out overnight. When we were in bed, we got up again and had to wash our hair because the pillows also smelled of food and kitchen. You couldn't sleep like that. The next day we had to wash all our clothes because the smell wouldn't come out. Eating out isn't fun like that. None of this was available with the predecessors in recent years; they had a functioning extraction system. In order not to forget, you had to get the non-alcoholic drinks yourself from a refrigerator. I've never experienced that before either.

Nice service. In contrast to some previous speakers, we find the buffet absolutely rich. There is even sushi, which actually comes from Japanese cuisine. From Thursday evening there is also the special grill buffet. And in the evenings it costs 17.90 euros, even if you only eat from the normal buffet. The prices are the same as the buffet during the week and on weekends, which is not a given. Prices are pretty cheap for a spa town. The food could be spicier, but it is adapted to German tastes and you can add spices. Conclusion, we think it's GREAT.😊👍 Addendum, we were there a few weeks ago, after the change of ownership and the name change. We didn't notice much of a renovation other than new chair covers and a piece of flooring. The buffet is still delicious, but unfortunately the grill buffet is no longer available, which is a shame... The prices have increased a bit, but are still reasonable. The service is nice and courteous.

The food was very tasty and very digestible, the soft music in the background was very pleasant and the ambience was very clean and nice, I will definitely go to Aroma Panda again while I am in Bad Wildungen

I was there with my wife for lunch (buffet). We had the variant including drinks for €20.90. Price performance is top. We enjoyed the food, there was plenty of choice.

So I was here today. Was very skeptical because of the other reviews. I had the drinking flat and the buffet. Unfortunately there really wasn't any Mongolian grill. However, the food was very tasty. It only got cold if you took a lot and left it on the plate 😉. The service was very friendly. Yes hectic, but I had the feeling that she wanted to do everything right and tried very hard. She flits from A to B. And it's normal when you eat and several plates are empty that they are cleared away. This was quickly recognized and cleared up. Unfortunately she was alone. If another person served the guests, it would be 5 stars. So my conclusion is that the dinner was very tasty, the atmosphere was very good and the employees tried very hard. Everything done right 👍🏾

Four of us (2 adults and 2 children) had a very nice stay. We've all had enough. For the price of the lunch buffet, there is nothing to complain about. I don't understand some of the reviews and I'm very glad we went there. We didn't miss anything. If you want more, you usually pay significantly more...

We were there 2 years ago, but things have actually gotten worse again after the takeover/name change. The food/meat from the buffet was of poor quality and some of it looked like it was from lunchtime. The spring rolls, fries!! and herb baguette!! were wobbly, very light and cooked way too short. Reluctantly, we also ordered an additional dish from the menu; Here the beef was tough, the vegetables cut into large pieces and almost raw. Complaints were not accepted, they simply wanted to "cook" our food again - thank you, we had already lost our appetite. It's a shame, it could be much better.

The concept is not really implemented as pretty much nothing is refilled in over an hour and therefore the range is very limited.

We like to go there regularly and really enjoy it. The staff/owners are super friendly, we feel at home there.

Food selection too small for so many guests. Sauces were like water. Waited 20 minutes for beer even though there were hardly any guests there. One of the employees was a bit unfriendly. Fried pasta wasn't as it should be because for me broccoli doesn't belong in it. I ate there 6-7 years ago and the quality has really deteriorated. Unfortunately we will no longer visit this restaurant.

The Neue Ära restaurant in Bad Wildungen offers a diverse menu and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly, which positively influences the service. The preparation of the dishes is careful and the quality of the food is convincing. However, the decor could be modernized in some areas to create a more contemporary atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant offers a solid dining experience with room for improvement in the ambience.

For the first time here and as an individual a table at the entrance where it drew. While I ate, the waitress stood in front of me at a side animal to have private conversations with the loudspeaker. An act of rudeness towards the guest. The food was rich but chicken cross in a sauce should be served differently here. Leider war das Essen beim Mittagsbuffet nicht besonders. Die Speisen waren verkocht und wenig gewürzt. Das beste an dem Buffet war der Wackelpeter.

Buffet: Das Essen war Schnellrestaurant Niveau. Eis war bereits mal aufgetaut, gebratener Reis war trocken, da er so lange da lag, und auch sonst würde ich eher einen Tellergericht irgendwo bevorzugen, welcher gut gemacht ist. Der Reis war etwas muffig und da es sehr leer wurde zu 20h, hat auch die Bedienung einen nicht mehr beachtet. Das Ambiente war nett.

Ein kleines,aber feines Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre,leckere asiatische Küche, sehr freundliches und engagiertes Personal, gute Preise. Jederzeit einen Besuch wert

Das Mittagsbuffet (Di-Sa) fanden wir super lecker. Eine kleine, aber feine Auswahl. Klasse statt Masse und das für 10,80€ (Stand 12.2023). Ambiente wie in den meisten guten China-Restaurants. Das Personal hat uns nett und freundlich bedient. Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Bad Wildungen kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wie immer Super.Erstes ausser Haus Essen dort nach Lockdown.Menü gegessen war sehr gut.

Bedienung war sehr freundlich.Haben von der Karte bestellt .Essen kam an und was soll ich sagen riesige Portionen. Das Essen schmeckte gut.Konnten was übrig geblieben ist mit nehmen.

Beim Essen war viel zu viel Geschmacksverstärker und hat danach sehr stark geschmeckt

Wir haben nach langer Zeit mal wieder das Restaurant aufgesucht, nachdem es den Namen gewechselt hatte. Das war aber wohl die einzige Änderung. Noch immer ist im Gastraum ein Tisch, an dem sich die "Chefs" mit dem Rücken zu den Gästen niederlassen und diese damit gekonnt ignorieren. Auch bei einem mehr als spärlich besuchten Restaurant in der Woche wurden wir nur kurz wahrgenommen, bekamen aber keine Speisekarte und wurden auch sonst dezent ignoriert. Nach gut 15 Minuten haben wir dann freundlich um die Speisekarte gebeten und dann auch recht zügig unser Essen bestellt. Die Portionen waren reichlich, nett in heißen Töpfen angerichtet und optisch durchaus ok. Fisch und Geflügel waren allerdings extrem weich und labberig. Wir hätten das Essen auch sehr gut lutschen können oder es komplett zahnlos bewältigt. Die weiche Konsistenz hat ein ziemlich ungemütliches Essgefühl hinterlassen. Geschmacklich war es eben "Chinarestaurant", nichts Außergewöhnliches. Der Preis war im Mittelfeld (0,2 L Bier und "knuspriger" Fisch süßsauer 16,90), aber für die angebotene Qualität zu hoch. Das "Ambiente" ist typische Chinarestaurant Einrichtung, dazu der Buffetbereich mit weißen Platten abgeteilt und nicht sehr einladend. Der Außenbereich sah mit vielen verdreckten Spinnweben um die Beleuchtung ausgesprochen ungepflegt aus. Obwohl bis 22 Uhr geöffnet sein sollte, wurde kurz nach 21 Uhr demonstrativ gewischt und aufgeräumt. Fazit: Kann man machen, muss aber nicht. Wir werden da nicht mehr essen gehen. Eine super Alternative dazu ist das Thai Restaurant in Reinhardshausen.

Sehr gutes Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis

War schon etwas seltsam dass die Bedienung nicht mal die Bestellung aufnehmen konnte und extra die Chefin das machen musste. Allerdings wurde dann auch mein Wunsch auf Gericht ohne Glutamat nachgekommen. Essen war lecker.

Durchschnittliche Küche, für den Hunger i.o., günstige Preise

Wen man hier nicht essen geht hat man sicher nichts verpasst. Essen schmeckt nach fertig Soße alles gleich. Vermutlich Unmengen Glutamat, liegt unangenehm im Magen. Brauchen wir nicht nochmal.

Bin etwas enttäuscht vom Buffet. Kenne eigentlich den Unterschied zwischen scharf/süß-sauer etc.. Könnte davon allerdings wenig bemerken...die Peking Suppe war das beste. Meine Frau war von der Ente ebenfalls enttäuscht. Wäre das ihre erste gewesen, die sie isst, würde sie es kein zweites Mal brauchen, dabei hatte sie sich genau darauf gefreut. Insgesamt war es okay, aber müssen wir kein zweites Mal haben, da das besondere gefehlt hat. Und wenn Toilettentüren aufstehen und man vom Esstisch aus rein gucken kann....nicht sehr appetitlich

Okay für Gäste, die schnell und günstig viel Fleisch vom Buffet in sich rein stopfen wollen. Die vegetarischen Speisen vom Buffet waren eher fad. Aber die Bedienung war freundlich...

Wir waren vor 4 Wochen als Mädelsgruppe dort; alles in allem hat es geschmeckt & war in Ordnung. Das Ambiente und auch die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs war eher dürftig. Dennoch für einen Zwischenstopp in Ordnung.

Ein absolut durchschnittlicher Chinese mit sehr großen Portionen…mir hat’s geschmeckt .

Wir haben mit sechs Personen das Buffet gewählt und das war eine gute Wahl. Die Produkte waren stets frisch und schmackhaft. Die Auswahl war ausreichen gut. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Wir können das Restaurant weiter empfehlen.

Naja… Hähnchen ist nicht besonders frisch, der Auswahl ist nicht so groß wie in anderen „Buffet-Restaurants“ wo ich gewesen bin und vor allem- die Preise sind viel zu hoch, wie für Qualität und Auswahl in Buffet.. Personal ist ziemlich freundlich und Lokal ist sauber. Deswegen nur 2 Sterne

Das Essen ist lecker. Die Bedienung freundlich. Das Buffet an Werktagen ist sehr gut, nicht übertrieben groß und damit zeitgemäß nachhaltig. Im Vergleich zu anderen zu einem sehr guten Preis. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auch schön auf der Terrasse das Essen genießen. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hierher.

Wir würden sehr freundlich und schnell bedient. Das Mittagsbuffet ist klein aber reicht völlig aus. Preislich sehr gut für 9,90€
