Very good buffet, staff super friendly and attentive. And what we liked best about the atmosphere was the children's play area. Very child friendly. We'll definitely be back soon.

Super good Chinese food with hidden menu. Owner is very friendly and nice.

The sushi is super tasty and super fresh. The service was very friendly. The buffet is incredibly diverse.

Food wasn't fresh, wasn't labeled, not particularly hygienic (toilets/had flies while eating, food wasn't seasoned and tasteless, the only highlight was the chocolate fountain.

What happened? Great a year ago, very disappointing today. Before 12 noon everything was already cold at the sparse buffet. Everything sticky.. Fish swam in bloody water, everything dirty. I could hardly eat anything. Was afraid of poisoning myself. Even the door latch stuck... Never again, sorry... Service but very friendly...

I was invited by a German friend of mine to eat dinner in the great Asian Restaurant “Hokkaido” in Weil am Rhein, Germany, which is right next to Basel, Switzerland where I lived. It was a wonderful experience for me because they have a beautiful restaurant and provide super, friendly service. They have great Sushi and a wonderful grill. Plus, they have an All-you-can-eat Buffet which I love because it has a huge selection of great food, including Sushi, shrimp, salmon, vegetables, sweet-and-sour chicken, spring rolls, many desserts, etc. They also have a Take-Away. I can highly recommend the Asian Restaurant “Hokkaido” in Weil am Rhein for a great eating pleasure!

The best Chinese restaurant around Switzerland! I have never tasted such delicious food in the UK! The senior said that it is different from other Chinese food. It is not a big pot rice, each portion is fried on the spot, and the Japanese food at the door is actually the king of Chinese food. Those who go to university in Basel are in luck, the authentic Chinese food is so delicious that I want to cry! You can take the tram to this restaurant for extra meals every week! The most important thing is that it is cheap. A classmate said that one meal in Switzerland can be eaten twice at her house! You can come here for dinner! ! ! ! Remember to make a reservation in advance! ! 1️⃣Beijing Roast Duck (My brother said that this dish is delicious and needs to be reserved three days in advance. I was in a hurry this time. I love it 9️⃣Salt and pepper shrimp (savory! Everyone loves it, and it’s gone in seconds) The landlady is very generous and has a great personality. Her service attitude makes me feel like I'm at home. She didn't let us order too much for fear that we wouldn't be able to finish the meal. Very cost-effective for eight people! The Hong Kong people at the next table also come here to eat often and say this restaurant is authentic.

We reserved a table for the buffet at 6 p.m. and were led out of the restaurant by the police at 9 p.m. to 30 p.m. because we had allegedly disturbed other guests, although the service didn't serve us after 8 p.m. and three plates of shrimp Wanted to serve more drinks. In addition, 10 euros were embezzled from me. Worst Chinese economy I've ever been in.

Had a dinner here with my chinese collegues. We ordered some chinese dishes. It was very good. I can recommend anyone to try the traditional chinese dishes, and the fried rice or noodles. 👍🏻👍🏻

We went there for dinner once and never want to come back. The food was anything but tasty, the staff are very unfriendly. The buffet wasn't refilled once the entire evening and the meat from the grill didn't taste fresh at all... Really a no go for all aspects!

Absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever tried. I only give one star because I can't give less. Otherwise it would be zero!! The food was disgusting and didn't taste fresh at all, the staff were very unfriendly and even mean - anything but professional. The buffet had a very limited selection and wasn't refilled once - €25.90 p.p. It was definitely too much for the quality

Two buffets because the other food needs to be ordered in advance. The buffet was horrible, with very few choices (they didn’t refill anything during the time we were there). Meet and fish for the grill seems they have been standing around there for the whole day (we went there on a Saturday evening at 21.00). The staff is very unfriendly and the owner quite judgy.

The food wasn't fresh at all, the soy sauce was so bad, I've never tried soy sauce like that anywhere. The boss was very nice but I give the food one star.

The Al you can Eat Bufet is sebsatonel and rich in food. Great service and friendly staff

The food is good. The best thing is that it has space for children to play, so it is perfect for families. Parents can eat in peace and stay with the child.

We were there around 8:30 p.m. and had the feeling the kitchen was already closed. Buffet was very disappointing. Almost nothing there...not much choice. No taste! Most of it looked unappetizing. Sushi....hmmm......better not eat it! I had to choose them carefully. Most of them looked old.....my friend had diarrhea the next day and she was still coming up with the fried food. Never again!!!!!!!!!

Eating as much as you want, ordering with an iPad was new to me. Great for 29 euros.

The worst restaurant of my life. Foul food. The shushis were not good, the spring rolls were terrible, the meat I couldn't even taste because it stank of rotten meat. The restaurant is dirty and there were unpleasant sweat smells. It was way too hot too. The only positive point was the young waitress who was very friendly and helpful. The other waiters and waitresses also friendly. I hope one day to see them again in another restaurant where I can eat my fill because in this one let's say 30 euros per person to eat almost nothing is a scam.

Large restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Cheap lunch buffet without drinks 9.50 euros for poultry and beef. 12.50 euros (duck) always with soup and rice. Barrier-free, easily accessible with a wheelchair. Fish (8.50 euros) and vegetarian (vegetables with tofu) dishes available. Nice, courteous service and clean toilets. Children's play area. Take away I'm offering. Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday and Sunday 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m

We ordered two of the Toyota menu to take away. First we had to wait 40 minutes. Afterwards we were so stressed that we didn't check what we were eating. When we arrived home we were given a menu that wasn't even on the list. They just gave us whatever they had and it doesn't taste good either.

The food was old, the buffet wasn't refilled and if so it was very economical. Very little choice at the buffet. Not recommended for this price.

Have been there several times, unfortunately service is getting worse and worse. At first it took a long time until the order was taken, then we had no cutlery, chopsticks, plates or soy sauce, orders were forgotten and we had to keep asking. Restaurant was almost empty, so that can't be the problem. Food is ok, if ordered via iPad it is freshly prepared. The buffet is already cold and has been sitting around for a long time. There were no dryer sheets in the toilet. A pity....

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. Most of the food was lukewarm, the selection extremely limited and the taste left a lot to be desired - everything seemed to be riddled with flavor enhancers. The service was also disappointing and the ambience seemed cheap and bland. Overall, not a recommended experience.

All you can eat. We hoped for tasty (spicy) oriental dishes and good sushi. The sushi was okay, but seemed to have been taken from the buffet section. Not fresh. The hot dishes were boring, flat in taste and sometimes even cold. Pity.

The food here is affordable, good and the waiters are quite nice too. The sushi is ok but not the best. The choices at the buffet are great for the fried foods and desserts, there's a lot and everybody can find something they like, even though there's only like 5 types of sushi (I felt like there was no intention of refilling things though, especially the sushi and sashimi was partially empty at some point). The restaraunt is usually quite empty and quiet, wich is nice. The grill is really disappointing, the meat for the grill is really low quality, especially the salmon tastes like fish sticks and the sauces they put on there taste like water with a drop of soy sauce. I'd recommend the all you can eat by tablet if you want sushi, but the buffet if you're not the biggest sushi fan.

This restaurant is a typical Asian fusion buffet restaurant with various dishes like sushi, sashimi and more Chinese cuisine. The buffet comes with quite limited choices, but is ok. Main challenge was that quite some food (like the salmon on the sushi) looked and tasted like it was not fresh. The same was true for the lamb chops at the tepan grill…

Das Essen hier ist ganz okay, lecker. Aber die Portionen sind ziemlich klein und das Hering-Gericht hat einen leichten Fischgeruch. Dennoch ist dies eher positiv.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Restaurant Hokkaido... Das Personal war sehr freundlich zuvorkommend... Am Anfang hatten wir ein wenig anlaufschwierigkeiten die Kommunikation war auch nicht sehr einfach... Bis wir uns mal verstanden haben danach ging alles reibungslos... Das Essen kam sehr schnell und es war sehr lecker... Der Service lief reibungslos und die Preise sind angemessen... Es ist eine tolle Idee mit dem iPad bestellen... Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder mal vorbeischauen...

Für ein Buffet sehr gutes und frisches Sushi! Besseres Sushi als in manchem anderen Sushirestaurants. Auch die anderen Speisen haben eine gute Qualität. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis!

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt sehr überein. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Ipad-Bestell-Option ist wunderbar. Das Essen wird immer pünktlich serviert und die Sushis sind sehr lecker. Empfehle es jedem. Nebenbemerkung: Bin mindestens 1mal im Monat da😍

Habe Buffet gegessen für den Preis sollte das Essen deutlich besser sein. Gelockt wird mit Buffet für 8,50€ kosten tut es letztendlich 16€. Krabbenchips sind wie gummi, der Rest der Speisen obwohl sehr übersichtlich recht kalt. Hab schon deutlich besseres Buffet gegessen.
