After a long day of shopping, we were craving Chinese food for dinner, and what we found completely exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in a small town—where you’d typically expect such culinary delights only in bigger cities—we were unexpectedly wowed. The restaurant focuses primarily on Sichuan cuisine, with a mix of other regional specialties, and the authenticity was undeniable. The bold flavors, especially the signature spiciness, transported us straight to China. This family-run gem, tucked away in a residential area, offers such warmth and hospitality that it's well worth the trip despite the simplicity of the decoration. I can assure anyone it’s a far more rewarding experience than the usual tourist traps found around Outletcity.

An absolute insider tip hidden in the middle of the residential area. The food was super tasty and the service was nice. Definitely worth a visit.

The prices of Chinese food in Germany are really impressive. They all cost more than ten or twenty yuan. The portions are also sufficient. I must say that this is the most authentic Chinese food I have eaten in Germany. I've been to many other places that don't taste as authentic as Little Tuan Yuan. The boss is very enthusiastic and has become a regular customer hahaha🤣 The spicy chicken is super fragrant! Beef brisket stewed with potatoes is super delicious!

The restaurant closed at 3 p.m. When we arrived at 2:30pm the staff said it was no longer open. So the kids and I left hungry.

If you want to try authentic Chinese cuisine, this is the place to be - many tourists come to eat after shopping. Accordingly, there are 2 menus, possibly. is also cooked and seasoned differently. My favorite is 口水雞, something like chicken that makes your mouth water - be careful, it's spicy and not easy to eat because of the bones (I would prefer 醉雞, unfortunately they don't have them). In older reviews everything essential is actually mentioned: Service is good - small family business, ambience is ok, but with the very fair prices the focus is on the food, and that's why we go there :)

China Fan is a restaurant that we have visited for the second time. Both times we were completely satisfied with the food. The first impression of the restaurant may seem a bit intimidating, but we can only recommend that you convince yourself of the excellent food. Unfortunately, the restaurant was only sparsely attended on our two visits, which we find very unfortunate.

The food was okay, the hygiene was a disaster. Used, dirty dishes are on the serving trolley in the dining room in front of the counter, simply disgusting. When using the home coffee machine placed on the television in the guest room, it is neither rinsed before use nor is the rubber milk hose cleaned. The service was very slow at the beginning until we were served even though the rooms were almost empty. We were there once about a year ago, not a cent was put into the 80s furnishings of the apartment. At best a snack bar with seating, not a restaurant!

This place is easily one of the top Chinese spots in Germany. It's a cozy little restaurant, but it's buzzing with energy and super welcoming. Definitely a great pick if you're looking to dive into some authentic Chinese food.

Eight people of us ate there yesterday. After a long wait for the food and two dishes were not available, was a bit disappointed. After we finally got our food, we were all very satisfied. Ein einfaches kleines Restaurant aber ein absolut gutes und vor Allem ein authentisches Essen. Sehr viele chinesische Gäste sprechen dafür. Ich komme wieder.

We were very surprised by the authenticity of this place. The food was delicious, inexpensive and plenty. The taste was amazing, just like you would get in China. The owner was extremely kind and generous. Definitely worth a visit!

Я в восторге от курицы в арахисовом соусе с овощами, это лучшее азиатское блюдо из всех, что я ела! Обязательно попробуйте курицу в арахисовом соусе, если вы любите эти продукты. Das thailandische Essen war sehr gut, der gebratene Reis mit Hühnchen war auch lecker aber nicht speziell. Die Portionen sind sehr gross. Der Service ist ein bisschen langsam.

This is the go-to-place in Metzingen if you want to experience real authentic Chinese cuisine! A true "hidden gem". You can tell that the cook is well experienced when you taste the dishes. The staff is also very friendly, and does not hesitate to help. Among the Chinese community in the surroundings it's well known, and now I know the reason. Excellent! If you are in Metzingen or pass by Metzingen, I really recommend to try it out!

The owners are very warm-hearted and always check if everything is as good as you wish. The cook is very talented and while eating the dish you can really taste that he knows what he is doing. Not only among non Chinese people but also among Chinese people this restaurant is considered to be outstanding in this area. When I (Italian) ate here for the first time, I immediately fell in love with this place because of the rich flavours in their dish and the kind and caring owners. Incomparable to what I have witnessed before in a Chinese restaurant in Germany. Just outstanding!

Waren im Thermalbad Beuren. In einer Dampfgrotte plenkerte chinesische Musik! Dann Hunger bekommen und ab zu Fan China , sehr freundlicher Empfang. Sofort die Speisekarte und erstaunt festgestellt für ein China Restaurant keine 240 Gerichte sondern sehr sortiert, bestellt und wieder verwundert! essen war nicht in 5 Minuten da wie bei einem Chinesen üblich! Und das finden wir Positiv! Gemüse sehr frisch vielfältig! Soße war nicht dick ! Ente war herrlich somit nur zu empfehlen. Wir werden wiederkommen!
