Huge portions, and quite authentic. 1 dish per person to share among yourselves is more than enough. Surprised to have found such decent Chinese food in Dresden. Can recommend.

The ceilings are huge and the ambience is very modern. The first time around it felt like the price to quantity was very off but other than that the food was good. But over time the food grew on me and I absolutely love this place and Chinese cuisine! Very very much recommended! 🌟

There were only two of us, the portion was huge, but we still managed to eat everything 😂 so you really have to be able to eat a lot. Otherwise, just take it home. Both dishes were very tasty. Next time we really have to order “the really spicy beef”. The employee asked us again if we really wanted to order this, unfortunately we didn't dare to do it anymore... please don't make us unsure next time!!! 😂

The China Zeit 食光餐厅 restaurant is always very busy and it is definitely worth waiting for a seat. It is an authentic, very good Chinese restaurant - not just in Dresden, but throughout Germany. Despite the stress, all the waiters are always friendly and helpful. Particularly recommended are the Guo Bao Rou (锅包肉) - crispy fried pork in a sweet and sour sauce - and for lovers of spicy dishes, the Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) - braised tofu with minced pork in a spicy sauce. The portions are huge and you can eat unlimited rice (feel free to ask the service at any time). Given the high quality, the prices are really a bargain.

Sichuan cuisine is very authentic and suitable for authentic Chinese people. The price is also very affordable. At the same time, this store can hold events. It has 150 seats and large private rooms. It is also suitable for mid-to-high-end tour groups. The garden seats in summer are unique.

I was really looking forward to it(because of the review), but the taste was similar to that of a regular Chinese restaurant. But it was definitely Chinese style food and It was very nice that they provided rice together.

The food was very tasty. However, you should be careful with two chilies next to the dish on the menu. Although it was only supposed to be medium hot, it was noticeably hotter. The service was friendly, but we forgot the second dish and it took longer to get the bill. But there was also a lot going on that day. We would definitely recommend it.

Please Please Please provide TABLEWARE for takeout customers! I visited Dresden and ordered food delivery to my hotel. The food was delicious and definitely worth 5 stars. However, I was disappointed to find no tableware included in my takeout. I had to choose between eating with my hands or throwing the food away. Eventually, I used my toothbrush as a chopstick, which was quite a funny experience.

I’ve been waiting for a place like this in Dresden for over a decade since moving here. Exceptionally good food, everything is consistently tasty - no fish disappointed. I’ve been here 3 times now and can’t wait to go back. Thank you for bringing some solidly good food to this city !

Tastes great and some of the dishes are rather unusual, not the usual "German" Chinese restaurant. Perfect if you like spicy food but you can also find something else. This time it took quite a long time but was also very well attended. The ambience has something of a hall but it's perfectly fine.

The food was very authentic (I'm not from China, so I can't really judge, but the shop was full of Chinese people) and super tasty. Can only recommend 👍 One point deducted because we had to wait a long time despite making an online reservation. The service was extremely overwhelmed without a system. But I was there on Friday evening around 7 p.m., so that could be why. The dish in the middle in the photo was at the spiciest level ("numbingly spicy" on menu) and it is actually really spicy, so watch out. I had to go to the toilet several times the next day 🙈

As tourists, we had two dinners in a row. We ordered three dishes from the restaurant but didn't finish them, so we packed them back and ate again. A serving of Mao Roast Duck not only includes half a duck, but also a lot of hairy tripe and beef, and a lot of side dishes. The lamb soup has a generous portion of mutton, with four ounces of the meat still very tender. The chicken with vine pepper is also very fresh, numb but very appetizing. To be honest, it was really good when it first opened, but now it's a mess. The portions of the dishes are smaller and the taste is worse. I suspect that you use instant seasoning packets to cook the dishes. Pickled fish, Kung Pao chicken, and fish-flavored shredded pork are all instant seasoning packets.

Visited place last Sunday with friends, we easily got a seat: place is very spacious. The service was rather slow (we needed to wait several minutes to get a menu and even longer to place an order. We really liked the food, however would be great to add more wrappings to the Peking duck (yum). Could be also a bit more spicy, dishes which we're supposed to burn were mild. Once we also ordered the food from this place as delivery and food was also on spot, but mild (owners, add more chilli!). Great spot, would definitely visit them again.

Never eaten as authentically as here. Not the Asian uniformity, but to the point in terms of taste. Mainly Asians eat here, which clearly speaks for the restaurant. We recommend.

The best, most authentic and tastiest Chinese restaurant in Dresden. If you've had enough of Asian food "adapted to German tastes", you should eat here. By the way, one of the few German restaurants where you can taste pork intestines. We (Asian-German family) keep coming back.

Very good and authentic Chinese cuisine, I recommend ordering a few dishes and sharing them, so you can try more items. The taste may not suit people accustomed to Polish "Chinese", but in my opinion it is worth trying it for yourself.

At first I stood in front of it and didn't dare go in because everything looked too authentic to me...it doesn't matter! Breathtakingly delicious and very friendly service! Unfortunately a bit loud but that's okay. Clear recommendation and absolutely no comparison to any Asian bistro/restaurant!

The food seemed authentic to me and was delicious. I've had much better soup elsewhere, so only 4/5. The restaurant is full of Asians, so that speaks for the food. The service was really quite overwhelmed, but the store was also very full. The atmosphere really bothered me. High ceilings without room dividers and soundproofing, very loud. The floor just stuck together, which was very uncomfortable. So rather unsuitable for conversations.

I can't say anything about the authenticity of the food because I've never been to China. But the food seemed different to me than in a typical Chinese restaurant, better and different. Lots of Asian-looking guests. Easy reservation by phone. The staff were very attentive and at the same time discreet, with slight difficulties in communication. Portions plentiful. We had a lovely evening and I'll be back out of curiosity to try something different.

We came here because the reviews were so good. I was disappointed. Food just average. Prices okay. Ambience rather uncomfortable - looks more like a train station hall with orange walls. Drinks and food take forever. Service makes an effort, but communication is difficult due to the loud noise. You won't find a place to sit comfortably and have a relaxed conversation here.

Proper Chinese food in Dresden, tastes great! We ordered cucumber salad, vegetarian Mapo Tofu(normally with pork, but if you ask, they prepare it vegetarian) and Di San Xian, and they were all amazing. Definitely worth to visit 👍

It is the best Chinese food restaurant I’ve ever eaten in Germany. We ordered six dishes and all are great! The braised beef, small crispy pork, pig intestines and ox tripe are all delicious, I highly recommend the pig intestines.

Overall a pretty good Chinese restaurant. The restaurant furnishings and seating layout are reasonable, the rows of floor-to-ceiling windows provide good light, and the service is friendly. The overall quality of the dishes is acceptable. Although it cannot be said that everything is outstanding, there is definitely no shoddy quality. Recommend the pickled fish. Delei people have a good taste and will come again next time.

Fantastic food, lots of vegetarian options and outstanding flexibility when it comes to a gluten-free diet. Memories of stays in China are awakened.

As a European, I really enjoyed the food (4 different dishes), the highlight was the queen duck! The service could be a little friendlier, the four of us were not allowed to sit at the table with a turntable in the middle for 5 people. After our request, a “Reserved” sign was put on it. There were two waiters, some of whom asked twice, and the first round of drinks felt like it took too long, even though the restaurant was 60% full. Some places in the restaurant are extremely brightly lit, so unfortunately there is no cozy atmosphere at these tables, like ours. The tables aren't really separated either, which has a bit of a McDonald's charm to it. You can also look through the entire restaurant, from the entrance to the desk, where the billing forms were probably still lying and unopened boxes were piled up.

Tasty authentic Chinese foods from real Chinese chefs and with Chinese restaurant's atmosphere. I mean there are always so many Chinese there. They even greet you with mandarin. I love that they also use round tables. That is how I know Chinese people eat. They have a terrace for summer time.

Was für eine Überraschung nach einem anstrengenden Tag. Wer denkt, süss-sauer sei chinesisches Essen, der findet auch in Pampe gekochte Knödel gut... Dass ich so extrem gutes, chinesisch-traditionelles Essen in Dresden finde, hätte ich nie gedacht. Am liebsten würde ich mich durch alles in der Speisekarte hindurch essen, so lecker war es. Die freundlich-fröhliche Bedienung empfing mich mit offenherziger Gastfreundschaft, die in vielen Dresdener Restaurants nur zum abkassieren von Touristen vorgespielt wird. 베를린에서 중국집 여기저기 다녀봤지만 드레스덴에서 독일 중국집 원탑을 찾게 될 줄이야. 엄청났다. 독일의 어느 중국집에서도 보지 못한 요리들이 꽤 있었다. 대구로 보이는 생선에 전분을 묻혀서 튀긴 걸 산초가 들어간 칠리오일에 넣어서 나오는 생선탕. 콩나물이랑 배추도 들어가 있고 생각보다 엄청 맵거나 자극적이진 않다. 산초나 고추를 씹지 않도록 주의해야 한다. 삼겹살 위에 (시래기?) 나물을 싸서 먹는 동파육 비슷한 요리는 고기에 비계도 꽤 많고 기름진 맛이지만 둘이 나눠 먹기엔 괜찮다. 혼자 다 먹기엔 너무 느끼할 거다. 나물을 고기에 싸서 먹으면 매력적인 맛. 감자가 들어간 소고기+소꼬리찜은 고기 자체는 맛있지만 요리는 평범한 맛. 오이샐러드도 맛있다. 곱창도 맛있고 냄새도 심하지 않지만 많이 먹기엔 느끼하다.

Da sich das Lokal in unmittelbarer Nähe unseres Hotels befindet, haben wir es für unser heutiges Abendessen ausgesucht. Es ist schön eingerichtet, gut besucht (auch von Chinesen) und bietet eine sehr gute Auswahl an traditionellen wie vegetarischen chinesischen Gerichten an. Die Preise sind (im Vergleich zu Wien) moderat und das Essen wie der Wein haben uns ausgezeichnet geschmeckt! Einzig die Menge war uns ein wenig zuviel, aber es gab das Angebot, den Rest mitzunehmen.

Äußerst zuvorkommender Service wird mit gutem Essen gepaart. Ich komme gerne wieder. :)

Wir haben im Restaurant China Zeit zum Samstag Abend noch spontan einen Tisch für 9 Personen bekommen. Das Essen ist vorzüglich. Wer echtes chinesisches Essen mag, wird in diesem Restaurant in jedem Fall fündig. Da alle Tische besetzt waren, haben die Hauptspeisen etwas länger gedauert. Das war für uns aber nicht problematisch. Ein paar der köstlichen Vorspeisen haben uns gut über die Zeit gerettet. Gefallen hat uns der stilechte Drehtisch, sodass jeder mal von den anderen Gerichten kosten konnte und es ein geselliges Essen miteinander wurde. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr höflich und freundlich. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr gelungenen Abend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
