China Restaurant CAO(chinesisch-indonesische Küche) in Bad Oeynhausen

The staff was very nice, the food was delicious and plentiful, what more could you want. A good choice.

The place itself is definitely getting old, but that makes the food stand out, delicious!! The ordered dishes were served very hot and at the same time 15 minutes after reception. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food in this case was duck in satay sauce, a dream both in terms of quality and taste. It could only have been a little more sauce. Price/performance 1A and fully recommended. Reservations are mandatory on weekends ☝🏻

The food was good, nothing more, nothing less, but the service was definitely not friendly and you felt unwelcome. Conclusion: I don't have to search again.

So the food is quite tasty so far, but it could be designed a little more lovingly. The service, i.e. friendly, is different. There is no proper greeting and you ask where you can sit, Word waves his arm and says "there". For me, service is also part of a nice meal, I think it's a shame that you can't be a little friendlier with a few people.

The cao is located directly at the spa park. It was really busy around lunchtime. Nevertheless, the service had everything under control and was friendly and quick. The food was of good quality. The prices outside of the lunch menu are surprisingly cheap. The portions are generous, so that everyone leaves the restaurant full and satisfied. The ambience could use some freshening up. Conclusion: great prices, good quality. Recommended.

Trying to order takeout at 9:30pm on Friday, the restaurant is officially open until 10pm. They said over the phone that the kitchen had already closed. Ok, I can still understand that. Tried again on Saturday at 8:40 p.m., again the kitchen had already been cleaned and therefore closed. I've never experienced anything like that, they don't seem to need any customers.

I recently visited Cao Restaurant and was completely satisfied. The staff is very nice and accommodating, which makes the visit really pleasant. The food is incredibly tasty and visually appealing. The furnishings are beautifully designed and create a cozy atmosphere. I can definitely recommend Cao Restaurant and would love to come back!

No Asian flavours, just generally "asian" ingredients put together without care for taste. And the service clearly didn't want to be at work. So disappointed.

Never again !! 👎👎👎 The "crispy duck" according to the menu was a wobbly something like a "mini duck", and the sauce served with the dish had the consistency of jelly pudding. I then politely complained about the duck to the “mistress of the house” because I would like it to be crispy too. Then the unbelievable thing began, because she just let me sit at the table with a shrug of the shoulders and concentrated on other guests. When I spoke to her again at the counter, having meanwhile gotten up from the table with my four companions, and described her behavior towards me as not necessarily customer-friendly, she disappeared into the kitchen and was no longer seen. I was once again a little surprised and without any significant results!? The waiter, when approached on his "next round", didn't find my complaint particularly noteworthy, but was willing to organize a replacement. Since my guests were now almost finished with their food, the waiter was allowed to clear away mine, which was of course now cold, untouched. I'll keep it short now... It was only when I explicitly asked when paying the bill whether my dish was also on it that the option of being able to delete this amount came up. I don't want to go into detail about the quality of my guests' food - their enthusiasm was about the same as my own. What a store...!? I've actually never experienced anything like that, even in the worst rest stop in Albania! In fact, not even one “mandatory star” is justified at this point!

An experience dinner We visited the above restaurant with 5 people. The menu made a good and varied impression. When the food came, the fun began. The “crispy duck” (name of the dish) was anything but crispy. -No problem, it happens. The service lady was ordered to our table and pointed out that the duck, which was declared crispy, unfortunately did not live up to her promise. The lady just mumbled: “Yes, she has to.” She removed her from the situation. For a moment we thought she was going to get the cook or something similar. No, she just left the customer sitting there. The whole thing twice. Only the young and very friendly waiter showed himself accommodating. Unfortunately, he can no longer raise the rating of the service. It's a shame that you have to give one star here. Then the bill. The duck was actually on the bill... Stunned from start to finish. The remaining dishes: The fried rice was edible. Likewise the beef. But the fun continued with all the breaded dishes. It feels like only leftover meat like cartilage and bones are processed here. A piece of plastic in the rice is often served with it. Once and never again.

Average Chinese with a huge menu at the expense of taste. We ate a Chinese plate that looked very appetizing, but the sauces could have been better seasoned. The fact that the peanut sauce was a solid cream wasn't great either. Beef with onions was ok, sweet and sour pork was actually missing the sauce. Service polite but inattentive, probably due to the fact that the two of them handled the service alone. The restaurant is well attended, which is probably due to the pleasing prices. Conclusion: inexpensive, it tastes reasonably good, you get full and are a little disappointed.

It is recommended to book a table in advance or early enough. The food is very good and wholesome here. The service is nice and friendly, especially the waiter. As always, we were shown to our table. The food we ordered came within a short time. We will come back.

3 out of 4 dishes were not ok. The chicken was dry, a sauce more like a paste. The waitress also seemed in a bad mood.

Food was ok and tasty so far. Ambience was also ok for a quick meal. But if you want something more romantic, then you shouldn't choose this place. I would have liked more attention from the owner. So we left without dessert.

Very tasty food and not a buffet!

We couldn't understand the good reviews. It wasn't because of the good food. But it's cheap. That's why everyone likes it. The meat is cheap, the vegetables have a strange taste and even the rice is fluffy and bland. When you enter the store, you immediately see the completely dirty carpet and meet a grumpy waiter. That should have been enough of a sign for us. We'd rather drive a few kilometers further, I don't recommend this.

Das China, Restaurant CAO In Bad Oeynhausen bietet ein gutes chinesisches Essen in einem etwas sterilen Ambiente. Der Service ist freundlich, wenn auch nicht gerade der schnellste und aufmerksamste. Grundsätzlich kann man hier sicherlich gut essen gefühlt hätten die Portionen ein wenig größer sein können. Somit solide drei Sterne für das Restaurant.

Das Essen und die Portionsgrößen sind sehr gut, der Service dagegen leider relativ langsam und das Ambiente nicht so schön. Dennoch kann man dort alles in allem gut essen.

We ordered chicken & beef, the beef curry was really delicious, whereas the chicken with coconut milk was a little bit salty. Though it looks good. The food was served quickly & nicely. The decoration is good, but the chairs were a bit dirty. The staff are really good and friendly. The price is reasonable. The curry they served was much more we have expected, it was difficult to finish the food! The people who eat less, they can order one dish for two people.

Leider kann ich mich meinen Vorredner nicht anschließen, Bedienung, kein Lächeln oder ein nettes Wort. Von der Bestellung bis zum Essen alles ruckzuck. Mein Hühnchen sehr trocken, die Sauce pappig und lauwarm, von meinem Mann die Ente war gut. Wir hatten den Schlemmerblock, zum Glück, dann musste ich mich so ärgern. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen

Great experience dining here. The food is hot and fresh, made quick without a long wait, and very tasty. Great clean environment.The young men with Tattoo provided us excellent service ! Would definitely recommend for any food enthusiasts or people who enjoy Chinese cuisine.

Sehr, sehr gutes Essen! Selten so lecker gegessen!! 💯 Allerdings könnte die Bedienung etwas netter sein (wir hatten den Schlemmerblock und hatten das Gefühl deswegen nicht so freundlich bewirtet zu werden) und das Ambiente ist schon etwas veraltet, hat uns jedoch nicht gestört. Alles in allem finde ich es geschmacklich Mega und würde immer wieder kommen, auch ohne Schlemmerblock! ;)

Klassisch deutsche Inneneinrichtung und asiatischer Touch. Tische ordentlich eingedeckt mit Stofftischtuch. Als einzelner Gast war die Begrüßung nicht schön und der Start fällt einem schwer. Die Begründung ist das der junge Mann für das ganz alleine verantwortlich ist. Immerhin ca. 24 Personen auf diversen Tischen verteilt. Aber ich kann ja nix dafür und dann kommen noch ein paar einzelne 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. Sei es drum…Getränk und Essen bestellt…und dann geht es ganz schnell. Getränk da…bumm Vorspeise da usw. Zur gemischten Vorspeise bleibt zu sagen alles war sehr lange frittiert und dadurch leider trocken. Süßsauer Soße lauwarm hausgemacht aber geschmacklich sehr dünn. Hauptgang mit Garnelen Morcheln und Bambus war lecker und der gebratene Reis war auch ok. Leckeres Frankenheimer Alt vom Faß. Alles in allem durchwachsen bis gut.

Essen ist gut und lecker. Bedienung freundlich. Ambiente Na ja. Viele Plastik Blumen, alter verschlissener Teppich, alte Stühle, Kartons hinter der Theke. Toilette könnten auch eine Verschönerung gebrauchen.

Essen war ok. Das Ambiente war eher ernüchternd. Staub und Plastikblumen überall, die Toilette war renovierungsbedürftig. Der Teppich schon extrem abgelebt. Leider fehlte die frische Luft im Raum. Alles in die Jahre gekommen. Schade

Über die Jahre gleichbleibende gute Qualität! Ebenso die Preise sind voll akzeptabel! Wir kommen immer wieder dort hin!

Das Essen ist geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist ziemlich spröde, mein zum Menü zugehöriger Vorspeisen-Hähnchensalat würde mit dem Hauptgang serviert. Die Teller waren eiskalt, was wir dort aus der Vergangenheit nicht kannten. Ich noch nicht ganz mit dem Hauptgericht fertig, der Teller stand noch vor mir, da wurde beim Vorbeigehen gerade mal der Nachtisch auf die Tischkante gestellt…. ABER ALL DAS IST JA GERADE NOCH VERTRETBAR! AUF UNSERE FRAGE OB DER TEPPICHBODEN DEN MAL GETAUSCHT WÜRDE, WEIL ER KAUM NOCH FARBE HAT UND ELEND SCHMUTZIG IST UND OCH SCHON BESTIMMT 30 JAHRE ALT IST, BEKAMEN WIR ALS ANTWORT, DASS ER WAHRSCHEINLICH SOGAR SCHON FAST 50 JAHRE ALT IST, MAN IHN ABER NICHT WECHSELN WÜRDE, DA DAS RESTAURANT JA DANN FÜR DIESE ZEIT GESCHLOSSEN WERDEN MÜSSE!! WIR MÖCHTEN NICHT WISSEN WIE ES IN DER KÜCHE AUSSIEHT…… WIR WERDEN IN DIESEM DRECKSTALL NICHT MEHR SPEISEN!

Das war der Kommentar zu der Anmerkung, dass die Frühlingsrolle nicht knusprig, das Rindfleisch zäh und nur eine Mini-Morchel im Gericht war. Ansonsten Imbißqualität zu Imbißpreis.

Wir waren an einem Samtagabend zu zweit dort und haben auch sofort einen netten kleinen Tisch bekommen.Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und umsichtig...firschgeszapftes Bier und die Gerichte auf einem heißen Rechaud serviert.Sehr lecker ausreichend und günstig! Zum Schluß gibt es noch einen Glückskeks*
