The food was delicious! Grilled duck with noodles was just great!

We went to the Chinapalast again today for dinner. The food was good, as always. Unfortunately, that was it. There was no service. Too bad, things were different in Mr. Wang's time. We didn't feel comfortable. We'll keep an eye out for other Chinese restaurants.

If you order food without a drink, you have to pay an extra €1? What a disgrace. The food was okay, but the service was so-so.

I once ordered takeout and asked for a bag to make it easier to carry. The woman said they didn't have any bags, but I saw all the bags next to them and pointed at them. The woman still insisted on not giving me one. I don't know if it was because she's just stingy, but that was totally unacceptable.

Very good and beautiful restaurant. I ate here occasionally with my mother 15 years ago after visiting the Traumpalast. Since then, I've always had fond memories of the food and the time spent there. This was confirmed again on my last visit, and I'm looking forward to my next visit to the restaurant! I can absolutely recommend it for both the taste and the portions. Keep it up!

We arrived without an order. The friendly staff seated us. The food was delicious, large portions, great seasoning, simply Top Ducks.

Better than expected. We went for lunch and the restaurant was quite packed. The crispy duck was especially nice. We can recommend the place.

The food is truly delicious, but the service is so unfriendly. It's absolutely unacceptable. We walk in, and there's no hello, no smile, just an annoying "reserved." The ladies shove the food at you, without asking if you like it or, if your drinks are empty, whether you'd like anything else. Terrible.

A very tasty buffet, every dish is delicious. There's sushi, various salads, large and small spring rolls, soup, eggs, and garlic bread for starters. The main courses are always the same, and shrimp is always available, all at a fair price. The staff is always friendly, even though it's always busy. Reservations are recommended for lunchtime browsing.

We made a reservation, arrived an hour early and that wasn't a problem. We were served very friendly, the food was very tasty and appetizing and beautifully prepared. The prices are very good for the generous portions. At the end there was a fortune cookie and we were offered plum wine. All highly recommended, would love to come back!

Unfortunately no! It felt like it took forever to be able to place an order after repeated requests, even though the restaurant wasn't even 50 percent full. Same game when paying; You had to wait forever and be asked to do so several times. The food was the 'crowning' in a negative sense! We have never had such a bad meal at a Chinese restaurant. Only a lot of breading, little chicken etc., otherwise low quality.

We come here regularly for lunch, be it buffet or takeaway - we've never been disappointed. The price of €11 is unbeatable, you get a large selection of freshly prepared dishes and the staff is particularly friendly. We will definitely remain regular customers.

You don't have a huge selection though. But for the size of the restaurant, the selection is sufficient and good. The food is very good. The parking options are also good. I can only recommend the restaurant.

I've been here several times. The tenant changed a few years ago. The second time I didn't get really hot fried noodles, that wasn't the case before, it's a shame...

Good and friendly service from Mr. Xü (?) and his colleague. We were there for lunch. We also liked that the atmosphere seemed calm and pleasant, even though it was very busy. Not the kind of “train station hustle and bustle” that often occurs in other, hugely spacious restaurants. There were interesting dishes on the menu and not just the usual ones. Modernly interpreted. My blackhead had tofu with minced meat. A completely different flavor and my curry crabs were delicious, with very crunchy vegetables. Unfortunately the green tea was with tea bags. Too bad. Afterwards there was a fortune cookie. ...even if something goes wrong, like at the last lunch... Luckily we had a reservation for Sunday lunch, it was again very busy and apparently only 2 people in service. Today we decided on sweet/sour and both dishes were missing pineapple. Apparently the chef was also under pressure. The complaint was received in a friendly manner and the pineapple was added later. Anything can happen. What is important to us is how complaints are handled. Despite the employees' noticeable stress, the atmosphere was pleasant. Everything handled well.

Classic, "older" Chinese restaurant. We were there for the lunch buffet and it was very tasty and was refilled practically non-stop. However, a reservation is strongly recommended as almost all tables were occupied.

Not recommended - you get the food on a plate drowned in sauce, the rice you get extra gets cold very quickly and there is no space on the plate. Well attended at lunchtime because of the buffet...they are well prepared...as soon as a side dish or meat is used up...it is refilled...pleasant...service is attentive but not intrusive...recommended Was there at lunchtime after a long time..still well attended or rather full..everything was great again.. as described.. Today I visited this institution for the first and last time. I would like to point out that the Arsenal is not friendly and treats customers indifferently. And I was cheated out of 5 euros. I am a foreigner and was treated exactly the same. The food is really tasty but due to the attitude of the staff I won't visit this place again. I hope this comment was useful for someone.

Used to be my favorite Chinese. But the food no longer tastes good and the service is no longer good either.

Beautifully decorated Chinese restaurant with a good ambience. Quiet and serene, a calming place. You can have a good conversation. The food is plentiful, hot and we enjoyed it very much. Price wise still within reason. This is the fifth time we have visited and we would love to come back.

We had reserved (confirmed) in writing and changed our mind again in writing about the time about 2 weeks before the visit. Nobody knew about it on site, but we also got a table like that. The guests from 2 tables who arrived after us were served first and had their food long before ours. Since there wasn't much going on at 12 p.m. on Sunday, that's not understandable. The Cola, specially ordered with ice cubes, arrived lukewarm. The ice cubes had to be requested twice until some arrived. The starters for 2 people at the table came about 15 minutes apart. My starter was forgotten and only came after I asked twice. The waitress, who didn't speak German well, had forgotten what I had ordered. Good tip: write down your orders! The Beijing soup was good. In the case of the spring rolls with minced meat, the meat was only available in homeopathic doses (less than 5 grams), the dough was too thick and not cooked through. The main courses came after just under an hour and all three arrived quite promptly. Generous portion sizes. The Genghis Khan platter featured duck, pork, chicken and beef in terms of meat plus vegetables. Everything was pretty good, except for the tough beef. The less spicy version was very mild, the hot version was only slightly spicy. The emperor prawns with vegetables on a hot plate tasted good. We had to wait a long time for the dessert we ordered afterwards (baked apple) and had to ask specifically. Probably forgotten again. Overall, the food was good and enjoyable, but unfortunately the chaotic service deducted a point from me. Oh yes: we had to ask for the bill twice before one came.

A good, relatively small, Asian restaurant with a nice ambience and feel-good character. The Thai style coconut milk soup was exceptionally good!!! Buffet is only available at lunchtime during the week. For my taste there could be more vegetables with the dishes, but that's complaining on a high level. I will order more vegetables next time. Here you even get a pot of tea instead of the usual cup. The service is very friendly and attentive. I would make a reservation just to be on the safe side.

Good food if you're in the mood for something Asian again. I had the menu with soup and dessert and it tasted great. Ambience is suitable for the food and the waiters were very busy but still good service.

Has changed so much for the worse. We have been regular customers to this day, but we always get something different from what we ordered. The lady who takes the orders at the front either doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand. I'm really disappointed that we've received something that we didn't order 4 times in a row

Der China Palast in Waiblingen kann jedem nur empfohlen werden. Neben ausgezeichneten chinesischen Gerichten ist auch der sehr freundliche Service und das schöne Ambiente zu erwähnen. Das Essen kommt schnell und schmeckt hervorragend. Unser Favorit ist als Vorspeise die grüne Currysuppe und als Hauptgang die gebratene Ente mit Gemüse und scharfer Soße. Wer Interesse an einem landestypischen Schnaps hat, sollte einmal den Reisschnaps probieren. Alles in allem sind wir sehr zufrieden gewesen und kommen gern wieder.

I am extremely happy with my experience. The ambience of the restaurant is really first class and you immediately feel the pleasant atmosphere. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. As for the food, I was impressed with the freshness and taste of the food. Every dish was prepared with care and tasted delicious. Another plus point was the price-performance ratio. Hello, We had lunch today with a group of 14 people. The food was consistently very tasty! Unfortunately we had to wait longer for some of them and for some we had to do some more work until it arrived. What upset us a bit was that we had 2 children with us and their food came LAST. Unfortunately, the last meal didn't come until the first people had already finished eating. But that could also have been because we were there at 12 p.m. and everyone else in the restaurant also came at a similar time. The people were very accommodating and friendly!

Seit fast 30 Jahren Gast. Früher auch in Fellbach, jetzt in Waiblingen. Bestes chinesisches Essen weit und breit. Das Restaurant hat ein schönes Ambiente und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne immer wieder.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und vom Chef ist außerordentlich wohltuend. Die Auswahl der Speisen beim Menue sind so vielfältig, daß kein Wunsch offen bleibt. Auch nach Corona, ich kenne kein ebenbürtiges Restaurant, das ein besseres Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bietet.

Alles hat gepasst - rundum empfehlenswert !!!

Wir waren im September 2023 dort. Die Lage ist unscheinbar, versteckt neben dem Kino. Das Essen war sehr lecker, vor allem die Gerichte, die vorne auf der Speisekarte unter der Rubrik "Kaiserliche Köstlichkeiten" stehen. Die Soßen sind überaus schmackhaft und gut abgewürzt. Die Gemüse sind aromatisch, knackig und frisch. Das Fleisch ist auf den Punkt gebraten. Das Personal ist freundlich wirkt manchmal etwas gestresst. Die Waschräume waren ansprechend. Für Samstagabend sollte man reservieren.

Hatten vor 4 Wochen einen Tisch dort bestellt für 5 Erwachsene zum Buffet Essen . Restaurant gemütlich , netter Empfang und der Hammer pro Person keine 10 Euro ! Es war sehr sehr lecker und hatten eine Portion gebratene Nudeln zum mitnehmen noch bestellt das mega heiß kam also absolut frisch zubereitet war . Vielen Dank für ein tolles Essen in einem auch noch klimatisierten netten Ambiente!

Többször jártunk már ebben az étteremben, eddig mindig rendben volt minden. Az étterem elegáns, a tálalás szuper, a kiszolgálás udvarias bár kissé kelletlen. Az étel ez alkalommal kifejezetten rossz volt. A sima és a sült rizs is híján volt minden fűszernek, még a sónak is. A hal vizes, mintha egyenesen a fagyasztóból dobták volna az olajba. A szezám bundás garnéla kőkeményre sült. Összességében egy utcai kínai büfében vásárolt étel minőségét sem érte el. Nagy csalódás volt. Ez a hely legkerült a listánkról.

We went spontaneously based on the review ratings, and honestly we were not disappointed at all. Lady on phone was polite to take our reservation. Service was prompt. Portions are good and enough for a person. We went with Chef‘s recommendation and was quite good. Ambience is quite good and family friendly as well. Overall a nice place to enjoy family dinner or May also lunch as they had Buffet lunch as well. When around definitely recommended.

Sehr gerne gehen wir vor dem Kinobesuch in den China-Palast. Hier stimmen Qualität, Service und Preis. Die Zutaten sind frisch und auf den Punkt gegart, die Gewürze lecker und nicht übertrieben. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Essen sehr gut , aber katastrophaler Service,. Bestellungen jsnen nicht zusammen , lange Wartezeit, es wurde nichts abgeräumt und auch nicht nach Getränken nachgefragt.

Wir (von 2 Personen bis zur 10-köpfigen Großfamilie und/oder mit Freunden) gehen fast schon regelmäßig in dieses Restaurant, weil man gemütlich sitzt, angenehm bedient wird und die Speisen einfach lecker sind. Ich habe ein Faible für die "8 Kostbarkeiten": Serviert auf einem Stövchen, somit kann man sich auch Zeit lassen mit dem Essen, ohne dass es kalt wird.

Leider haben wir schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht (to go); geschmacklich nicht gut, lange Wartezeiten, recht teuer und anstatt vegetarisch zu bekommen, war dann doch Fleisch mit dabei
