I don't usually write reviews but I have to say the food was very very bad. I ordered a menu home and none of the dishes were remotely edible. Maybe it's better in the restaurant itself but that was really just a waste of food.

We always enjoy coming here. The buffet is simply great.

The food was super tasty and, above all, hot. If it was constantly topped up. The table grill is definitely a highlight and is a lot of fun. We will definitely come back and enjoy the food.

We have been here for the third time now and we really enjoyed it again...the food (buffet) is plentiful, if you want there is a grill installed at every table...you have to order in advance, buffet with or without grill. The staff is very fond of children and attentive...a high chair is also available...you can bring a dog. All in all, it was another lovely evening with the family.

again today only top marks!!! Update: enjoyed the joy of the delivery service for the first time today. Not a single credit point - everything to your complete satisfaction. Our first visit to the new owners with their very friendly and competent employees. Today we had the Sunday Chinese Gala Buffet for €19.80 (yes, like many other restaurateurs, you can only get energy and goods here at much higher prices and that has to be included in the calculation). But this buffet is worth every euro. Very rich, constantly replenished and the taste is uniquely good. Even in mixed offerings, you can taste every single component. We will be happy to come back - just like today, including the great table grill embedded in the middle of the table.

We ate buffet food and grilled at the table, something we hadn't experienced before and thought it was good. Since we were there late and there wasn't much going on, some dishes had been in the buffet for a while, which is of course noticeable, but there is no deduction. The fresh goods to grill yourself were all good. The service was friendly and attentive. All in all, delicious food at a good price.

Good and manageable selection of raw ingredients for the Korean BBQ table grill as well as for the classic Chinese and dessert buffet. The only thing we were missing from the Korean BBQ was the traditional finely sliced ​​and marinated leek, but there were raw spring onions. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and empty plates were always cleared away quickly and unobtrusively. Prices absolutely okay and fast service. The rooms, including the toilets, were clean and baking paper was used for the table grill, so that it remained hygienic. We had a very nice evening and will definitely come back again.

I've been here several times. The buffet is good although a bit expensive. My recommendation is the meat marinated in miso if you order a buffet with a table grill. The buffet otherwise has things that you would expect from a typical Asian buffet. For me this usually means that I get chicken in various forms and fried noodles.

My girlfriend and I had dinner there today. The selection is just really good. Clean, the employees are very hardworking and clear away the dirty plates straight away. Are very polite and friendly. The shrimp with broccoli and the fish items were good. But the duck was also really tasty. You can pay there in cash or by card. When it comes to food and dessert, there is no shortage of choice or refills. For children there is also a lot of choice of food, including dessert, e.g. B. Jelly pudding in red and green with vanilla sauce, ice cream. I was very excited. I immediately felt comfortable there. Deserved all stars. 😊👍

Despite the fact that the shop was not very busy, the service was in a tolerable mood, 0.4 liters of drink were served without asking, the calamari was not properly cleaned, so it had strings and was therefore not edible (similar to asparagus or beans). Otherwise there will be a lack of understanding regarding the food. Service negative, unfriendly, courteous at the next table. Not very helpful at the BBQ grill. Overall bad, but the rest was still edible. At least there was a table to sit in the far corner

Zentral gelegenes Asiatisches Buffet Restaurant. Das Essen ist vielfältig und schmeckt uns gut. Das Mittagsbuffet ist der Asia Standard, erfreulich ist aber, dass es auch z.b. Algensalat, frisches Obst und beim warmen Essen auch einige Gemüse Gerichte gibt. Abends gibt es neben dem Buffet auch die Möglichkeit selbst am/im eigenen Tisch zu grillen. Das ist eine nette und gesellige Art des Restaurantbesuchs in einer Gruppe. Nachteil dabei ist aber, dass daduch im Lokal ein ziemlich intensiver Essensgeruch vorhanden ist, den man in der Kleidung auch mitnimmt. Außerdem ist durch die Grilleinbauten an allen Tischen die Beinfreiheit etwas eingeschränkt. Es gibt auch noch die Möglichkeit HotPot zu essen, das habe ich aber selbst bisher noch nicht ausprobiert. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Parkplätze sind an den Südarkarden (mit Parkscheibe) vorhanden

Ich war ein Stammgast beim Shanghai Restaurant in Sankt Augustin! Für mich gibt es nichts besseres als KIMCHI in Sankt Augustin... Es ist einfach alles Frisch & Lecker. Bitte weiter so machen.... TOP

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen dort. Die Begrüssung und Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Da am Tisch keine weitere Speisekarte vorhanden war,entschieden wir und für das Buffet. Leider war dieses relativ enttäuschend, da es geschmacklos und lauwarm/bzw. kalt gewesen ist. Die Frühlingsrollen waren zudem,genauso wie die Gambas vertrocknet. Das Sushi schmeckte wie aus der Box von Aldi,und sah genauso aus. Der Nachtisch/ Kuchen wurde teilweise nicht aufgefüllt,und der Rest war trocken. Schade,denn vor geraumer Zeit war das Essen echt ansprechender.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Auch das Grillen am Tisch ist sehr schön.

Es war mein erster Besuch und ich bin sehr zufrieden . Das Essen war sehr vielfältig und gut zubereitet. Es schwamm nicht in Fett, war warm und ohne trockene Schicht trotz Buffet. Die Servicemitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und trotzdem nicht aufdringlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und man riecht nicht nach Essen nach dem Besuch. Das koreanische BBQ möchte ich auch sehr gerne probieren ☺️ Wenn ich nochmal in der Nähe bin werde ich gerne wiederkommen 🖤✨

Immer wieder sehr leckeres Essen. Mittagsbuffet mit angemessener Auswahl und die Servicekräfte sind herzlich und nett.

Das Kimchi Gourmet überzeugt wirklich mit seinem exklusivem Buffet und der tollen Auswahl an Desserts. Schön ist auch die Möglichkeit mit der eingebauten Grillplatte an seinem eigenen Tisch zum Braten von vielen verschiedenen Fisch und Fleischsorten aus der frische Theke. Ganz zu empfehlen ist auch der sogenannte Hotpot! Hierbei wir der Einsatz der Kochplatte gewechselt und ein Kochtopf mit heißem Wasser eingesetzt. Für Fans von Suppen oder Ramen einfach ein Must Have für das eigene Zusammenstellen der geliebten Speise ! Preise sind auch vollkommen überschaubar! Für zwei Personen Buffet, Tischgrillplatte und je einem Getränk unter 50€ !! Top 👍 Wir kommen gerne wieder

Ein sehr schönes kleines Lokal mit ruhigem Ambiente. Das Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig und frisch. Vor allem das BBQ, welches man sich selbst grillt kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Tolle frische Zutaten mit Meeresfrüchten, Fisch, Gemüse und verschiedenen Fleischsorten. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Preis-Leistung ist top, es gab viel Auswahl, das Essen ist lecker und die Mitarbeiter freundlich!

Zuerst ein sehr guter Eindruck, schönes Büfett, reichlich, große Auswahl. Leider sind die Speisen alle nahezu gleich gewürzt und ohne "Pfiff", schade. Das recht gute Material wurde verschwendet. Die Frühlingsrollen sind einfach nur schlecht, wie Bierdeckel. Die Panade, zum Beispiel um die Hühnerstreifen oder um die Bananen ist fast ekelig. Die Grills sind eine gute Idee, leider funktioniert die Lüftung nicht, wir stanken wie nach dem Besuch einer Dönerbude. Wir hatten den Grill nicht benutzt!

Ich habe schon einiges erlebt doch kaltes Essen und angetrocknetes Essen im Buffet geht garnicht 🤮 Das Personal ist unfreundlich und genervt wenn Gäste fragen haben.

Auswahl): ●●●○○ Die Auswahl findet als Buffet statt. Leider schmecken viele Speisen sehr lieblos und gleich. Dadurch leidet das außergewöhnliche Konzept (Grillen am Tisch). Die Auswahl an Fleisch für den Grill ist überschaubar. Getränke (inkl. Auswahl): ●●●●○ Sehr gute Auswahl allerdings keine Differenzierung zwischen Schorle und Saft obwohl beides in der Karte steht. Ambiente: ●●●●○ Schönes chinesisches Ambiente welches zum Restaurant passt. Sauberkeit: ●●●●● Es ist sauber und das Corona-Hygiene-Konzept wurde eingehalten . Service:●●○○○ Leider nicht gut, Kellner unaufmerksam bei leeren Gläsern, Rechnung falsch und Getränke ebenfalls falsch aufgenommen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis:●●●○○ Bei einem Buffet satt zu werden ist nicht schwer. Allerdings reicht es geschmacklich nicht um 20 Euro pro Person zu rechtfertigen. Die letzten Jahre hat sich das Bewerten auf TripAdvisor immer weiter für mich zur Leidenschaft entwickelt. Eine Hilfreichbewertung, das Teilen des Beitrags bzw. eine Rückmeldung per Nachricht würde mich daher sehr freuen.

Wenn man die Bedienung angesprochen hat, wurde man immer sofort freundlich bedient. Es gab drei Möglichkeiten: -nur chinesisches Buffet -chinesisches und koreanisches Buffet, welches man am Tischgrill selber grillt -feuertopf Wir haben uns für die tischgrillvariante für 17.80€ p.P. entschieden. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Zutaten für den Grill, der Fisch hat deutlich besser geschmeckt als das Fleisch. Der Fisch war nicht hervorragend aber in Ordnung, die Muscheln und Garnelen sogar echt gut. Auch Beilagen zum koreanischen Grill waren viele vorhanden und wenn sie leer waren wurden sie wie der Rest sofort nachgefüllt. Auch das chinesische Buffet mit typischen Speisen wie Sushi, Nudeln, Hühnchen, Pekingsuppe etc. war sehr üppig und man wird definitiv satt, die Qualität ist ausreichend aber mit guten koreanischen Tischgrill-Restaurants nicht vergleichbar. Auch gab es eine Dessert-Ecke mit vielen Eissorten, zwei verschiedenen Kuchen und Obst. Fazit: Wir hatten einen schönen Abend in angenehmer Athmosphäre und das Essen ist zum satt essen klasse. Qualitativ hochwertiges asiatisches Essen würde ich wo anders eher suchen aber es war für einen entspannten Abend geeignet.

Einmal zufällig dort gewesen, seitdem ist das unser Lieblingsrestaurant. Das Büffet und die Karte sind beide reichhaltig aber nicht üppig. Und das ist auch besser so, denn die Speisen werden stets frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist immer in Reichweite, aber nie aufdringlich. Und der Tischgrill ist ein Erlebnis, das muss man probieren.

Zu viert haben wir Kimchi Gourmet zum ersten mal besucht und waren begeistert. Wir haben den Bulgogi Tischgrill ausprobiert, alles was es vom Buffet gab durften wir auf unsere Teller packen, auch das leckere Essen vom normalen All-you-can-eat Buffet. Die Auswahl war also groß, alles hat uns gemundet. Der Service war super, die Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend und auch auf unsere Frage hin wie das nun genau funktioniert mit dem Bulgogi wurde uns ausführliche beantwortet und erklärt, trotz das es gut besucht war. Das Ambiente hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Es war zwar jeder Tisch besetzt, dennoch konnte man sich gut in normaler Lautstärke unterhalten was uns sehr wichtig war da wir unser befreundetes Pärchen länger nicht gesehen hatten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! :-)

Wie waren am Wochenende mit Freunden hier. Das Buffett ist relativ groß. Es gibt auch vegetarische Gerichte (Tofu, Süsskartoffeln) und eine gute Auswahl an Gemüse. Es gibt warme Speisen, es gibt Salat, etwas Sushi, Nachtisch und eine riesige Auswahl an Fleisch. Das Essen ist lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Dennoch unterscheidet sich dieses Buffet nicht von den ganzen anderen chinesischen Buffets. Der Nachtisch war so, wie man ihn in allen chinesischen Restaurants kennt: Tiramisu, Eis, Schokobrownie, Obst, Wackelpudding. Die Idee mit dem Tischgrill ist ganz nett, jedoch ist es ziemlich heiß am Tisch und die Klamotten riechen natürlich dementsprechend. Für uns war das nichts. Alles in einem ein schöner Abend, aber wie schon in der Überschrift geschrieben, nichts besonderes.

Wir waren heute Mittag im Kimchi Gourmet in Sankt Augustin und haben das Mittagsbuffet für 8,50 Euro getestet. Schöne Räumlichkeiten mit einem sehr netten und mega aufmerksamen Service. Das Buffet bot alles von Fisch, Ente, Rindfleisch, Schweinefleisch und Huhn. Zudem wird Sushi angeboten sowie ein Salat und Dessert Buffet. Die Speisen sind alle immer frisch zubereitet und was auffallend ist man sorgt hier extrem für ein sauberes Ambiente. Ständig wird kontrolliert ob am Buffet alles vorhanden ist, ob alle Schalen ansehlich befüllt sind und wenn etwas aufgebraucht ist gibt es sofort Nachschub. Wir kommen wieder und können das Restaurant einfach nur weiterempfehlen.

Tolles Restaurant, nettes Ambiente tolles Büfett! Wirklich eine Überraschung ! Hier bekommt man endlich einmal etwas abseits des Büfett Mainstreams! Hervorragende Ente knusprig und nicht knorpelig ! Ein rotes Hühnercurry das so lecker ist wie ich es in Deutschland noch nie gegessen habe! Super! Dazu noch alles preislich sauber besser gets nicht !

I had no expectations when I booked this restaurant. We where there on a Saturday and it was not that busy at all. We all enjoyed our food and the BBQ which was integrated in the table. The concept is that you pick meat/fish/vegetables at the buffe and prepare it at your table. There are a lot of other dishes which are already prepared at the buffe, they look fresh and they taste good. I like when a buffe is not overloaded so they don’t have to fill it that often, here they did the opposite, that’s why everything looked and tasted fresh. I’m not sure even if the interior/food/service was good that this fairly new restaurant will survive. The only thing I would have wanted would have been a better explanation how to do a Korean BBQ. There was more or less no explanation how you eat it and how you do it, that could definitely improve. I have eaten Korean many times but I’m thinking about our friends who joined us, they had no clue. Over all this restaurant get a 4- and I will come back and hope it will still be there.

Meine ursprüngliche Bewertung zu diesem Restaurant ist jetzt fast ein Jahre alt und es Zeit für ein Update, da sich Wesentliches verändert hat. Um es kurz zu machen: der koreanische Koch ist nicht mehr da und das bemerkt man eindeutig an der Qualität und Art und Weise, wie koreanisch gekocht wird. Das BBQ ist nicht mehr das was ein koreanisches BBQ ausmacht und so hat sich dieses Restaurant zu einem durchschnittlichen chinesischen Restaurant - wie wir es zahlreich in Bonn haben - entwickelt. Schade, aber mehr als drei Sterne sind deshalb nicht mehr drin.

Das Grillen am Tisch hat Spaß gemacht, vor allem der im Tisch integrierte Dunstabzug hat super funktioniert. Das ganze hat aber seinen Preis: Der Tisch bietet keine Möglichkeit, die Beine darunter zu verstauen. Ich habe das als relativ unbequem empfunden und daher irgendwie schief am Tisch gesessen. Das Personal war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend (Kellner kommt, vollgepackt mit Geschirr, was er gerade abgeräumt hat, noch mal bei uns vorbei, weil er gemerkt hat, dass ich noch was wollte!). Essen vom Buffet hat gut geschmeckt, aber ich fand es jetzt nicht deutlich hochwertiger als andere (chinesische) Buffets, z.B. Ente ziemlich trocken. Schön war auch die relativ große Auswahl an Nachspeisen.
