The food was very good, there was something for everyone

A real pleasure, with an all you can eat buffet. Something for everyone. Salads, meat, fish and a huge selection of side dishes, everything your heart desires. The price is also right at €19.80. Drinks are extra. Nice atmosphere.

We have been coming to China-Haus regularly for at least 20 years now and the quality of the food and service at this family-run restaurant have always been excellent. The other guests are always very friendly and cultured. A very pleasant atmosphere!

Always highly recommended. Even if cooking your own food is currently not offered at the beginning of March 2022. Update 12/02/22: everything is as usual, only the cooking service with the clothespins is still not offered again. Update July 30, 2023: no changes :) Update October 27th, 2024: the prices have now risen noticeably and are making the restaurant increasingly less attractive :( Apart from that, everything is great.

Very tasty, you can sit and eat in peace. There is also a very nice waitress.

Food is constantly empty, you have to say something that it should be refilled. The taste is very low, the service is very poor and unfriendly.

Taste bad but the service was ok

The dishes are always the same. No change, toilets smell like old sewers. Waiters are overwhelmed when the restaurant is full. We are disappointed...it was better years ago.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has put its grandiose days behind it. The current low point was sushi with cooked ham in it. No more show cooking, which was really great in the past. Service takes a long time to bring the drinks. Price-performance ratio is no longer right here.

As always, a great, rich buffet As a gesture of goodwill, the price was reduced for my daughter because she didn't eat much. Top service 👍👍👍👍👍

Neither my wife nor I ate much. Conclusion: A restaurant with a lot of potential, we will definitely come back. Some of the food was very greasy and baked hard. Everything that is popular at the buffet quickly empties and is not replenished very quickly. A lot of things are not labeled. If you want to reorder drinks, you first have to look for where to find a waitress and then you wait a relatively long time until you receive the order. But what we personally find to be an absolute no-go is clearing the plates. You just have the fork from the last bite in your mouth before the plate is “snatched away” from under your nose. It doesn't work at all!!! In general the staff could be a bit friendlier. Not just to regular guests who are greeted with a handshake... Prices generally ok.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be... No more show cooking, which is exactly what makes a restaurant like this... The food was sometimes very greasy and tasteless. Salad buffet very sparingly designed, The sushi was sometimes tough and also tasteless. I used to like going there because the price-performance ratio was better than the competition, but that's no longer the case. The service was very friendly, but could have come more often to reorder drinks. We were able to reserve a large table at very short notice, which I thought was good. I hope that there will be better times in the China House!

Unfortunately, I'm not very enthusiastic. Just by looking at the counters, you'll notice that some bowl is always empty and isn't constantly being refilled. Then many of the dishes are missing labels so you don't know what is on offer. The selection, e.g. B. with the salads, left something to be desired. Tomato/mozzarella, tomatoes/cucumbers/olives, pickles,......not exactly very imaginative. The dessert was partly inedible, mushy and tasteless. So for the price per person you can expect more! Then the drinks aren't exactly cheap, so you end up spending a lot of money per person. It's a shame because the parking situation is great and you have no problems finding a parking space.

We had dinner there at the end of a great day in Bayreuth. A group of 6 girls at the end of my sister's bachelorette party. In my opinion, significantly better than the gourmet temple in Bindlach. We had a buffet, everything was delicious and was always freshly replenished.

The food from the buffet is very good. It was regularly replenished. It was my first time here and I can't understand some of the negative reviews. What do some people expect for 19.90 euros? Elsewhere, a pizza with salad costs more... The desserts with fresh strawberries, for example, are also worth mentioning. That makes 5 stars!

We came here for the first time today based on a recommendation. Very attentive and friendly staff. We had the evening buffet. Everything we ate was really good! Lots of main courses and side dishes. Salad buffet, meat and fish dishes and fresh sushi. Great dessert buffet with fruit and sweet delicacies. And that for €19.90 per person. I can really recommend it. We'll definitely come back again!

The restaurant is located on the outskirts of Bayreuth in a former furniture store. We took the lunch menu. The spring roll was very large and crispy, and it was also well filled. Only the filling could have been a little hotter. The soup was also good. My main course was very good. The chicken was very tender and the vegetables were crunchy. The fried duck strips were juicy and the fried noodles were good. I can't say anything about the buffet. The staff was attentive. The price-performance ratio is good considering the size of the portions.

We were there for the buffet yesterday and felt very comfortable. The service was excellent, super friendly and attentive. The food was very good and varied. At the end we were allowed to help ourselves from the buffet for free and take food with us, otherwise it would be thrown away. However, we were also the last guests.

Everything was really right here today, very tasty and rich buffet food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is nice, everything is very clean and actually inconspicuous in a fairly empty center. Very attentive, fast and friendly service! Recommended! Thank you for the delicious food and we will definitely be back.

I really have to say, I can't understand the bad reviews. It wasn't too warm and not too cold either. Buffet was always full and nice and warm. The staff are very nice. The food is very good.👍🏼

Instead of a buffet, I recommend a lunch menu including a starter. The spring roll is the best in Bayreuth. Certainly greasy, but crispy, large and absolutely tasty. The menu prices are cheap and the portions are huge. The food is fresh and hot on the plate. Buffet is also good, and of course you can fatten up cheaply. With all the disadvantages of a buffet. The employees are nimble and focused. Free parking on site. Were very satisfied.

Were there again for a long time. Can't confirm the bad reviews. We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 8:15 p.m., it was very busy and we quickly found a free seat near the buffet. Even though the buffet is only open until 9 p.m., food was always refilled. Everything was there and freshly prepared. We also liked it. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There was no live cooking and that's the only reason there is a star deduction. Otherwise everything was fine and to our satisfaction. We'd love to come back.

By far the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. The restaurant is located in a very strange building that may have once been or will become a kind of shopping center. The food was tasteless, not fresh and simply inedible. Even the sauces were reminiscent of the taste it was supposed to be. It seems as if 80% of the food here is just warmed up. Even the desserts are simply bought ready-made. The selection is also more than meager. In addition, there is a busboy constantly patrolling who wants to take your plate away as soon as you have just finished eating something. We definitely won't eat here again.

I am so disappointed in the staff I was there at 9:55 p.m. on January 27th, 2024. They were open until 11:30 p.m. and then they were closed at 10:30 a.m. We wanted to have a coffee € everything for 40min paid everything who bad:(((((

Buffet ist gut Service für die größe auch gut. Das Ambiente naja geht so.

Geh immer wieder gerne hin. Die Buffet Auswahl war früher reichhaltiger. Garnelen, Sesambällchen, Morcheln gibt es wenig bis gar nicht mehr. Wenn leer dann leer.

Ich schließe mich der Meinung von Nicole an Immer gutes Buffet. Auch die Auswahl ist gelungen.

Wie immer sehr lecker, viele Gerichte zur Auswahl. Getränke kosten beim Büfett extra, was mich bisschen nervt. Und Preis ist auch wieder gestiegen.

Sehr gutes Buffet Essen. Bedienungen waren super freundlich, trotz viel Stress und vollem Haus. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :)

Auf Durchreise von München nach Lübeck spontan auf das Restaurant gestoßen. Wir waren verhältnismäßig spät an einem Samstag dort. (ca. 1h vor Buffetschließung). Haben uns selbst gesetzt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns dann doch der Uhrzeit fürs Buffet entschieden. Um die Zeit war trotzdem noch von allem etwas da. Satt werden war kein Problem. Als ich am Sushi stand, wurde ich sogar gefragt, ob noch etwas fehle. Man reichte mir eine Auswahl noch nach - super und vielen Dank dafür nochmal! Zusammengefasst: deutlich freundlicher, als ich die "Buffet-Restaurants" im Norden kenne und das Essen war reichlich & lecker.

Das Essen war schon mal besser. Nudel kein Geschmack. Es hat keiner beachtet das unser Glas leer war obwohl wir gerne noch was trinken wollten. Schade wir waren gerne immer hier zum Essen

Ein gutes Restaurant, wir waren beim Mitagessen, bestellten Gerichte von der Karte: N.65Knusprig geröstete Ente mit verschiedenem Gemüse mit Currysoße 14,90 € und N.64Knusprig geröstete Ente mit verschiedenem Gemüse mit Erdnüsssoße 14,90 €. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und man muss nicht lange warten.

Servius Sehr freundliches und sauberes Lokal. Das Essen ist gut und reichlich. Vom Geschmack her könnte es etwas ausgeprägter sein, sprich etwas kräftiger, aber sonst Tip top 😀 Mfg Frank Ludwig

Ja, das kleine Zentrum ist fast leer und ist damit nicht sehr einladend. Das China Haus ist aber trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen aus der Normalkarte ist gut und reichlich. Die Preise, und das ist die Überraschung, sind wie aus alten Zeiten. Suppe oder Frühlingsrolle 3 Euro. Hauptgerichte 11,00- 15,00 Euro. Fazit: gut und günstig.

Gutes Restaurant, nichts außergewöhnliches aber für einen Besuch mit der Familie total in Ordnung.

Ein gutes Asiatisches Buffet Restaurant. Schnelle zuvorkommende Bedienung und Asia typischem Buffet. Sicher nicht alles selbst gemacht, aber so isses halt. Besonders gut hat gefallen, daß alles recht ruhig verlief.

Essen sehr lecker, nur beim Sushi kann man noch verbessern. Leider gibts keinen heissen Stein mehr.

Ohne groß Werbung usw... Wir wären nie drauf gekommen dass es in dem Gebäude was so gutes zu essen gibt. Das erste mal das es in einem Restaurant die Ente mit knuspriger Haut gibt. So was von leckeren Essen, kommen gern wieder.

Parkplätze stehen ausreichend und umsonst zur Verfügung. Das Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Prreise liegen im Rahmen. Das Easen ist gut und lecker. Das Buffet ist sehr reichhaltig und offeriert eine große Anzahl verschiedener Speisen.

Este restaurante chino es probablemente el mejor en el que he estado nunca. ocupa la totalidad de un edificio precioso por los pueblos canal. Está decorado con barskets colgando fuera encantadores de flores. A la hora del almuerzo ofrecen un buffet autoservicio; tomar tanto como desee. La variedad de la comida y la calidad es simplemente increíble, muy bien distribuido, la elección es increíble. Lo que me está haciendo hambre a escribir sobre este lugar. Fui allí dos veces durante mi estancia en Buyreuth. Si estás en esta ciudad sería más absurdo no visitar. se está a la altura de lo que digo aquí. felices comiendo.
