China-Haus in Ballenstedt

I guess I got a real dud with the crispy duck; it wasn't crispy at all, and instead of sliced ​​pieces, it was a lump of tough meat. The chef should have noticed that... It wasn't a big deal for a short trip, so I didn't say anything. The Peking soup was okay. The server, who seemed completely overwhelmed, was also trying to handle everything. The second drink never arrived; I only noticed when I paid. And there was no "Did you enjoy your meal?"

After a stroll through the beautiful Ballenstedt castle park (which I highly recommend), we visited the China Haus Ballenstedt for the first time. The dining room has a typically Asian decor. The service was friendly and the food was fantastic. Absolutely delicious; highly recommended for anyone who likes Asian food. The dishes we ate were really tasty. The menu is very extensive; you should take your time to look through it and then choose. And the price/performance ratio is absolutely top-notch. So if you fancy a day trip, head to Ballenstedt, to the castle park or to Roseburg, and then have a delicious meal at the China Haus.

Everything was great, but the good lady seemed to be doing everything on her own, which is why it took a little longer.

My first time at China House in Ballenstedt , I was very surprised the place is very clean and well decorated .The service was excellent and food was outstanding. The menu is very inexpensive and the portion are big .

Visiting China Haus, we were pleasantly surprised. It's a good, appealing restaurant. The value for money is excellent. There was a short wait, as they also serve takeaway at lunchtime, but otherwise we were completely satisfied. Highly recommended, and we'd be happy to return.

I can't really comment on the ambiance, but my husband says it was very nicely decorated; you wouldn't have guessed that from the outside. The staff was very friendly! We had takeout food, everything freshly prepared, very tasty, and large portions. (Pan-fried noodles with chicken and vegetables / with roast duck with vegetables and fried rice with chicken and vegetables) Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. Sorry. The downside is that there aren't really any parking spaces directly along the avenue, but since our food was prepared quickly and it was already evening (so there was no traffic or people), we parked next to the barrier by the fountain without obstructing anyone.

Ready 45 minutes late despite ordering. The dish was incorrectly recorded. There's a wire in the food. Absolutely unacceptable. Peanut sauce is water instead of a proper sauce. Sorry, we won't be back.

I can't understand when people write negative reviews because of the waiting time...Dear people, go to the snack bar if you don't want to wait!! You have to take your time if you want to have food made to order!!! 1 hour is normal when the house is full, there are not too many wines for each guest! In the Alps they line up at the door and don't complain!!!

We spontaneously decided to get something to eat here while on vacation. Extremely delicious. I can only recommend it.

Super freundliche Bedienung 😊 habe lange nicht mehr so lecker chinesisch gegessen! Hatte die Hot Ente süß sauer (H2), der Hammer! Wer dort zufällig mal vorbei fährt (Ballenstedt) auf jeden Fall mal anhalten 😉 kleiner Tipp: nach Möglichkeit mittags dort Essen gehen, die nette Dame ist leider alleine und es könnte abends zu Verzögerungen beim Getränke - und Essen bestellen kommen. Trotzdem gerne wieder, auch weil Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis ebenfalls unschlagbar in der heutigen Zeit ist...☺️👍

Zweimal waren wir Gäste im China Haus ,Peking Suppe ,Ente gebraten mit Reis süss,sauer. Das Beste was mann in Ballenstedt bekommt. Note 1plus.

Bedienung war sehr freundlich,da sie anscheinend nur zu 2 in dem Restaurant sind,ich vermute mal ein Ehepaar der Mann in der Küche und die Frau Bedient ist etwas warte zeit,aber das ist Ok.Essen war ok für den Preis aber ich muss es nicht noch mal haben.ja Toilette an sich sauber aber der Lüfter über der Toilette stand vor Dreck den sollte man mal sauber machen.

Von Außen vielleicht nicht das Nobelste, aber hier gibt es das beste Rindfleisch ever!!! Die sanitären Anlagen sind sauber und die Bedienung freundlich, man kann gemütlich sitzen und die Preise sind wirklich sehr günstig. Also wir kommen wieder!

als stadtkind nen mega veganes gericht für 7€ zu bekommen ist schonmal traum. das beste daran, es schmeckt wirklich super lecker. kann ich nur 5 sterne geben.🤝

lange Wartezeit! Ob Getränke oder Essen und es waren nur 3 Tische besetzt! Keine Begrüßung, da fehlt einfach das liebevolle was zum gemütlichen Restaurant gehört… vielleicht eine Kerze, ein Blümchen oder Musik! Bei uns stand gar nichts auf dem Tisch…Schade, nur ne Papiertischdecke! Das Essen schmeckt aber super, eine tolle Auswahl und die Preise sind auch fantastisch! Wir kommen trotzdem wieder 😉

Wir fühlen uns hier gut bedient. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Preise sind mehr als angemessen für die Gerichte. Auch wenn schon Mittagspause ist, wird niemand abgewiesen. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen wieder.

Wirklich enttäuscht und wir werden so schnell auch nicht wieder dort essen! Ich und mein Partner waren letztes Jahr dort essen, da hat man uns schon auf alles ewig warten lassen. Gestern erneut dort essen gewesen, mit 2 Freunden von uns. Man wird weder zum Tisch geführt, noch herzlichst begrüßt. Dann bestellt man sein Getränk, auf das muss man aber 20min warten. Die Vorspeise haben wir dann nach 45min erhalten, leider hatten nicht alle eine ausgewählt, also mussten sie weiter warten. Das eigentliche Essen kam nach über 1 Stunde! Ich hatte es schon erwartet, dass es wieder dauert, aber so lange? Das war mehr als frech! Eine Entschuldigung gab es nicht. Die Getränke waren dann auch schon einmal leer, mussten wir auch wieder ewig warten. Die Frau ist komplett unorganisiert. Wir konnten auch beobachten, dass Andere genauso lange warten mussten. Das macht keinen Spaß! Dann muss man noch jemanden einstellen! Die Küchengeräusche sind auch meiner Meinung nach zu laut und dieses Telefon was ständig klingelt. Musik läuft sowieso keine. Und bei unserem Hauptgang hatte sie auch für 2 Personen zuerst das Essen vergessen. Absolute Katastrophe. Dabei haben wir es ganz deutlich bestellt. Sprachbarriere nach so langer Zeit in Deutschland. Essen schmeckt. Aber das ist es nicht wert! Jemand der einen schönen Abend haben möchte, sollte dort nicht hingehen. Schlechter Service und das nicht zum ersten Mal! Und das Restaurant war nicht einmal voll!
