It's okay to eat at a Chinese restaurant in the evening, food is okay too, but why on earth haven't the windows been cleaned for years, there's food leftovers stuck to them now... Hopefully you take this review seriously!

Has deteriorated greatly in everything, selection, taste, service. Some food is cold, drinks are warm, prices are doubled. Have been here at least once a month for the last 10 years, from today onwards it's only in competition with the Lotus Garden, where they still have prawns.

1-2 years ago the food and selection was significantly better than today. The buffet was only fully occupied at 5:45 p.m. We had been sitting there since 5:10 p.m. and at first we could only take noodles, chicken nuggets and sushi. For dessert there was fruit that was already very dry, ice cream that looked hygienically questionable and a bowl of Haribo. Unfortunately it's no longer worth it for €30/€32 per person. Add to that the stress of not leaving anything on the plate or in the drink, the note on the table and numerous signs reminding you that otherwise €5 is due. Eating in a relaxed manner is different!

30€ for the buffet on weekdays 32€ for the buffet on the weekend You will then be tolerated for 2.5 hours and have to leave the restaurant after this time. If you don't eat, i.e. if you leave a plate with "leftovers", you will be asked to pay an extra "penalty" (€5)! Anyone who leaves “leftovers” in the glass will also be subject to a “fine” (€5)! You now have to decide for yourself whether these are the right methods to spend a nice evening in a “comfortable” atmosphere!

The store used to be great, but unfortunately it isn't anymore. It's not just the canteen character that's a bit annoying, but above all the fact that the buffet is becoming less and less Asian. Here you can now find ribs, fried potatoes, fries, meatballs and pork knuckle alongside some duck and fried noodles. Eight treasures and other typical Asian specialties are missing. Shrimp are also completely missing. The food is okay but not just Asian. Since the high-quality products in particular were sorted out, the price is actually too high.

Never experienced anything like this! It also depends on the guests. 3 stars on average just for the food. I won't be able to rate everything around it with stars. The food was ok for fast food. However, the guests and the hygiene were subpar. At the next table there were 8 young people who pushed each other out of the chairs, at the buffet there were teenagers who really aggressively knocked the tongs out of your hand. We didn't eat ice cream because the ice cream was taken with our hands and the scoops touched parts of the guests' bodies have something where you don't want to think about it any further! Conclusion: we gave the store a chance but, no thanks. I have never felt so uncomfortable in the stomach area after visiting a restaurant!

There is plenty of food available, as well as enough fridges full of drinks, whether cola, water, soda or even more unusual varieties. We ate there recently and even though it was warm and the staff knew about it, they had done nothing to prevent fruit flies from flying around the fruit and raw meat. In addition, the air inside was stuffy and nothing was done about it until we asked. However, the service itself was top.

I already know China City from previous experiences. Service and reception are friendly and do a good job. I don't think the price with drinks per person of 30 euros is justified. Since there is a wide range of different foods, it is increasingly reminiscent of canteen food. That's understandable if you want to offer something to every palate. But actually less is more...when it comes to quality...It's a shame, but it's up to the customer who demands an ever larger selection. Unfortunately that's no longer for me. For me, pork knuckle has no place there...it's a shame...

Fast service, delicious food, great ambience!

I am extremely disappointed. I was really looking forward to the meal, but it was over very quickly. The sushi counter was a horror, the makis had apparently been there for a long time and smelled rotten, full of small fruit flies and a really unpleasant smell. The salmon on the sushi wasn't the freshest either. Many containers were not refilled, even after a long wait, and 90% of the food was cold. The chicken was a mixture of rubber and sweet and sour sauce. The selection of grilled meat was very lean and the lamb was green in many places. I tried to console myself with the drinks, even then the best before date was exceeded. At the checkout our criticism was only laughed at and answered with “it was definitely a bad day today”. It's a shame about the 30€.

Everything was great so far, what I was missing a little was an aquarium that you could admire while eating. That would give everything a great charm!

My conclusion : Extraordinarily large selection of all kinds of dishes and desserts in buffet form, and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks in an incredibly wide selection. These are included in the buffet price!! Tip: Lunch buffet “All you can Eat and Drink” for only €16.50. Children pay significantly less. The price-performance ratio is outstanding, at least at the lunch buffet. However, the evening buffet is significantly more expensive, but also includes an additional two alcoholic drinks per person. We were super happy with everyone! We're there for happy hours and it costs €26 including drinks and even energetic drinks, 2 alcoholic drinks, moderate drinks, so much choice that there's really something for everyone. Warm drinks such as coffee, latte macchiato and tea are also available. I don't even need to talk about the food because there is sooooo much choice, whether it's ready to be prepared or prepared. Despite what some reviewers say, pricing is reasonable and staff is very friendly. There is a very wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks which is included in the fixed price. Also two alcoholic drinks of beer or wine per person and any additional glasses are only 2,00 Euro each. It would be hard to find a better deal, all in all. No complaints about the food. On the contrary, it's been consistently good. On each visit we've found something new or different to choose from alongside the asian buffet staples. If you can't find prepared dishes you like, just assemble your plate of noodles, meat, seafood, vegetables, tofu, mushroom and sauce to be delivered to your table straight from the grill. The stand out feature is definitely the drink selection though. Anything non-alcoholic is practically "free" and includes popular brands only.

We were looking forward to the food and after a long time we were there yesterday from 12:30 p.m. We did not expect the experience to come. Every dish was lukewarm except for the fries (as cold as the table top). Some were swimming in pure fat. We didn't really understand why heavily breaded parts float in sauces and therefore get a very mushy consistency, e.g. sweet and sour chicken or tofu balls (in sauce and oil). The raw fish on the sushi was partially dried! Since the watermelon in particular no longer looked fresh and, apart from the grapes, the rest of the fruit was suboptimal, We decided on tiramisu or bee sting for dessert. The "Tiramisu" consisted of biscuit with very little cream with an indefinable taste; Unfortunately, the last bite of my bee sting was topped with rancid (!) stuffing. With the exception of water, only sweetened drinks were offered. For diabetics, for example, at least one light drink would be desirable. The staff seemed relatively tense to us. There are plenty of parking spaces and the ground-floor restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Conclusion: We definitely won't visit "China City" again, which used to be one of our favorite restaurants.

Anyone expecting fresh products here will be disappointed. Most of it is “convenience food”. The meat and fish were clearly frozen and the finished dishes were real glutamate bombs. The sushi is also mass-produced and of “Lidl - ready - sushi - level” quality. Fruit and vegetables are comparatively fresh... the dessert buffet also consists mainly of ready-made products. We were back in China City after a long time. The food is still really tasty. Everyone will find something here. All soft drinks and a few alcoholic drinks are now included in the price. We were there on a Friday and paid 30 euros per person. It sounds like a lot at first, but since the drinks are included, it's okay. I actually find it quite pleasant to take various drinks from the refrigerators provided. There is a really good selection of branded drinks. If it stays that way, we'll be happy to come back

I have to agree with a previous speaker. €32 per person on weekends and public holidays is more than steep. And get your own drinks, the food will soon be available pre-packaged in the vending machine. If I go to a buffet, I'll try it out, that's why it's a buffet. Very large Chinese restaurant with a huge selection. We've come here many times before, but recently drinks have been included in the buffet price, which actually makes it even cheaper. The selection of drinks and food is huge and there is a grill counter where you can have food prepared to your liking. The staff is very friendly. There are also several tables outside, located at the quiet back of the building.

So me and my friends were eating there yesterday when my friend told me that we should pay 30 euros per person, I expected a lot so I could only take two positive things with me that evening: the look of the tables and the LED that was installed and the opportunity to drink as many soft drinks as I want. But now to the negative, the staff is not friendly at all, the lady with the short black hair who cleared our plates and didn't greet us at all. When we wanted to thank her for clearing the plates as a matter of course, she didn't come either, so we were made to feel welcome not felt. Then they leave some dirt in the corners (see picture). Then I wouldn't touch the air dryer in the toilets because the plugs and sockets were provisionally supplied with armored tape. Due to current circumstances, I am very reluctant to give the restaurant 1 star. I really enjoyed eating there and the food was always good BUT…. I was there again on Thursday. I got an electric shock from the electronic rice pot and the fuse didn't blow. Consequently, there seems to be no FI installed there for the safety of the guests. My doctor immediately referred me to the hospital and I was allowed to stay there until the night. There was no excuse whatsoever and I was also allowed to pay for my meal as a reward. The rice pot was replaced but the power line still remains the same. I will go somewhere else to eat with my customers in the future. Lines and cables must be checked regularly by a specialist company. The operator doesn't seem to take this very seriously

My crew and I decided to eat here even though Burger King would have been more attractive. We wouldn't be disappointed, especially the sausages tasted baba. Apparently some of the other reviewers haven't noticed that it's now common practice at buffets to charge extra for full/half-full plates left out, which I can only support if you observe your fellow human beings. Maybe try it first to see if you like it before you fill up your plate and then leave it sitting there turning up your nose and then throwing it away.
