The atmosphere is more like a train station, as it's a large space, but there are also separate areas in the center. The layout is suitable for small and large groups. There's no air conditioning here, only recirculation! The pricing is unbeatable, with a great value for money for a very extensive and delicious selection of food, including drinks, that's rare to find. I love going there! I definitely recommend it!

I've been visiting China City at more or less frequent intervals for years. It's conveniently located for meeting friends. I was last there before the renovation and the switch to "soft drinks included in the price," and I didn't find it so great. The duck was bland, and the ice cream was floating in the water. After the renovation, I noticed certain improvements. The new buffet counter is a bit more organized and cleaner, and the display doesn't look so cramped anymore. (Otherwise, it would only have been given two stars.) Apparently, the staff has been reduced, or so it seemed to me, because before the renovation, drinks were offered and billed separately. Overall, the restaurant has more of the ambiance of a cafeteria with a somewhat Asian theme, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The furniture, especially the chairs, have seen a lot of backsides. The restrooms have never been particularly inviting. At peak times, the restaurant is very noisy, which makes conversation extremely difficult. What I do like is the threat of a €5 fine for full plates that are simply left standing. Of course, this measure was taken out of self-interest, but it's still disrespectful to fill your plate and then not eat. You can go as often as you like and get smaller portions. After 2.5 hours, it's over anyway. Conclusion: You can eat there, and it's okay. The focus is on high throughput in a limited time per guest. So, it's basically a (European) Chinese canteen.

The value for money here can't be beat. The drinks selection is more than adequate, but there's little fish or shrimp in the buffet. But we shouldn't complain on a high level.

Demanding a whole €32 for the “large buffet” on Sundays is quite outrageous! Didn't see any difference to the weekly buffet.

I was there once and never again!! The atmosphere has nothing to do with a Chinese restaurant, not comfortable at all, more like a canteen at the airport! The food is varied but it doesn't taste good at all. They just focus on quantity instead of quality. I also had stomach intestinal problems for two days after the visit, friends of mine have also had this experience!!

We ate there yesterday and it cost around €30 per person. We didn't eat anything earlier that day because we knew we were going to Allyoucaneat. That evening my friend felt so bad and now it turns out he has food poisoning. It's a shame because the food wasn't that bad, but after this incident we won't eat there anymore. Good selection of Asian and German food

Of course there are all the familiar dishes from the Chinese buffet. In addition: Sushi is okay, salad is good, but the fresh ingredients are best for frying and of course there are not only all the usual soft drinks with the all you can drink, there is also coffee and, at the end, various desserts including ice cream. All in all, definitely worth the money 😉

We've been there twice now for the big buffet (Happy Hours/Adend) and it was great both times! The buffet is really huge and offers something for everyone, and there is also a large grill station that offers the opportunity to have your own chosen ingredients freshly prepared. Vegetarian dishes and sushi can also be found, as well as fruit, cakes and ice cream. The selection of drinks is also very large and if you want that, two beers or wine are included in the price. A clear plus point: Sustainability is also taken into account here. If you leave more than half in the glass or food on the plate, you pay an extra €5. I think that's great! Basically, as is often the case, the price can be discussed. During happy hour on the weekend you pay €25 per person. after happy hour 30€/32€. I find it relatively expensive, but that's because I don't eat that much. For a good eater, I think the price is absolutely justified! Overall, I think a meal for two people at €60-65 is still within reasonable limits. Attention: There is a set dwell time of 2.5 hours. Anyone who exceeds this will pay an additional fee. I don't remember how much, but I think it was ok. You just have to know it, but it's pointed out everywhere. All in all: Absolute recommendation!

I’ve been in this restaurant many times. The buffet selection is phenomenal, lots to choose especially fresh seafish and meats. They also have lots of seats and different sizes of tables depends on how many person siting together. The price is reasonable as it seems and honesty since these people who reviewed disliked cuz the specific day of the week depends which day the price is high and low. You should better read the day to able to pay 16€ on time. So I say the service was very good, clean and smooth as here is no dirtiness. Huge restaurant and beautiful architecture. I recommend you go with your family or partner. 👍

A large restaurant, their buffet and "all you can eat" speaks for the fact that there is a huge variety of food to choose from! From various starters (antipasti, salads, spring rolls), main menu (meat, fish, seafood) and dessert (ice cream, various fruits, cakes). You can also order a' la cart and have something fresh grilled. The prices differ from the lunch and dinner buffet, but the food is still affordable, very tasty, and the service is friendly and fast. Conclusion: highly recommended!

I was very surprised at what you get for a buffet price of €30. Apart from the soup, everything I ate was either lukewarm or even cold. If I could have, I would have given ZERO stars

Unfriendly and oversalted. Not recommended at all for the price. There are more rules and fines than in a school. At the beginning you are given a piece of paper with all the eating rules on it. €5 fine if you leave food on your plate (even if you just don't like it), you have to leave after 2.5 hours and there is a minimum consumption for drinks, otherwise a penalty fee. As a guest you don't feel welcome. Worse than in an authority :-D

Very good buffet with a lot of choice, all dishes were very tasty. Friendly service who quickly clears away the used dishes. Drinks and final coffee included. Highly recommended. Buffet is constantly replenished and kept clean. Clean toilets and easily accessible, even with a wheelchair or walker. (No separate disabled toilets seen, but that should work)

I had high expectations for this restaurant because my friend told me that he often comes here with his family. Unfortunately I was seriously disappointed. While I was getting food, I heard the staff making comments about me behind my back in my native language. They said things like, "This girl is so fat and yet she wears clothes like that." Another employee added in his dialect: "Who knows what she does for a living." When my friend went to clarify the situation with the staff, one of the employees came to me and the first thing he said was, "I wasn't talking about you." When I was paying, I also mentioned the situation at the reception, but the employee there immediately said: "Our staff would never say something like that." Instead of admitting the mistake and apologizing, everything was denied outright. I'm proud of my body and don't see why I, as a paying customer, should be judged by staff based on my appearance or shape. Don't overweight people have the right to eat in this restaurant? And what about guests who don't understand the language - are they insulted behind their backs in the same way? This incident completely ruined our evening. I will not visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, due to the defective production of the material, we are not obliged to report this to the authorities. This means the material can't pass through, it melts in the oven, which shouldn't happen to me.

Its a great “low” cost all you can eat buffet. I visit it with my family and we all got plenty of food. There have a big choice of different foods, even exotic ones. One amazing feature in this buffet compared to other ones visit, the drink selection is outstanding good.

I really like the ribs here - they are tender and full of flavor. Shrimps are delicious. Drinks are included in the price. Of course, it's noisy here, but it doesn't bother you. Payment by card is possible. Sweets are offered not a lot, but enough, including various types of ice cream. The toilets are not very clean, sometimes there is no soap for washing hands. The only thing that I don't like and that prevents me from coming here more often is the location of the restaurant itself. Far from the station, you have to go or by bus. It would be better somewhere nearby with transport interchanges.

I was in this restaurant yesterday. Parking there isn't a problem. The first impression is good, but if you look closely it's a food stamp where the emphasis is more on the number of guests. The buffet is rich but most of it was almost cold. The toilet is clean but much too small. If you're starving or just want to eat enough, you're in good hands there. The drinks are very good and some of them are included in the price. The staff is very friendly. Everything is clean I don't know yet whether I'll eat there again. Positively, I haven't had any stomach pains and I haven't had any diarrhea yet. Anyone who has ever been to a 2 star hotel and went to the buffet to eat in the evening knows what I mean. Some of the other guests were shocking, some of them were there to eat their fill, and that was embarrassing.

The lunch buffet for €16 including drinks is really awesome. Extremely cheap by today’s standards. You can drink as much as you want. In other restaurants, after 2x 0.5 cola and a cappuccino, you have to pay €15. The food is actually impressive too. Usual standard Chinese buffet quality but quite a large selection. The only thing I haven't seen yet is crabs and shrimps at the lunch buffet.

Zur Begrüßung kriegt man einen verschmierten und zerknüllten Zettel in die Hand gedrückt, auf welchem die Uhrzeit steht, zu der man das schmutzige Lokal verlassen muß. Kein Gruß, kein freundliches Lächeln...nix. Der Tisch und der Fußboden vollgeschmiert mit Essensresten von diversen Vorgängern. Das Personal fast schon Abweisend. Wenn man länger bleibt, muß man 5 Euro pro angefangener Stunde draufzahlen. Für nicht leergegessenen Teller wird man auch belangt...eine Unverschämtheit. Werde mich sicher nicht von einem Chinarestaurant erziehen lassen.
