THE Chinese restaurant in Berlin for dumplings. I can't say much about the rest of the menu, since that's really the only thing you go there for. In any case, they're practically as good as in the country itself, and the selection is authentic.

Honestly outlet the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. I got the double fried chicken and vegetables, and my friend for the fried noodles and vegetables, and we got the fried banana with honey and ice cream, and it was so delicious! Highly recommend.

The restaurant isn't particularly cozy, the service isn't the best either and anyone who expects an artistically valuable presentation of the food on their plate is in the wrong place here. But: The dumplings are absolutely amazing every time. So far, without exception, everyone we've dragged here has been thrilled. Best dumplings in Berlin, I'll tell it like it is.

Dirty, very unfriendly and poor service. Taste nothing special. The first dish came after 5 minutes. Unfortunately we had to wait 49 minutes (!) for the second dish. We asked several times and were always told "in 5 minutes". We couldn't eat together and one dish was completely cold. Won't go there anymore. The staff was very unfriendly and reacted very loudly when asked about the dish. We should have left better. The toilet and dishes were also very dirty. Don't go if you want to spend a relaxing evening with delicious food!

Unexpectedly delicious. Jiaozi - both fried and boiled - are very tasty with an interesting filling. The chicken with peanuts is also very tasty. It's unusual that there's no music - we're so used to not eating in silence.

Very tasty homemade dumplings (we took the 20 vegetarian dumplings) and located in beautiful surroundings in Berlin.

The dumplings are really, really delicious and I would recommend them to everyone. Unfortunately it's not so nice to sit outside in summer, but the staff is always friendly. The dishes are also very suitable for delivery!

The food was tasty, but it was served in a pile. The toilet was very dirty! In general it is not inviting to eat there.

We visited the restaurant based on a recommendation and chose fried and boiled dumplings. The food came quite quickly, but seemed like just thawed goods that you can also get in the Asian market. We weren't impressed with the taste. The service was nice and courteous.

I used to like this place and always bring people over...Not Sure what has happened at Wok show butt the food is just ok, nothing special... the service is far from nice and on the slow side... But why It's so overpriced? Except the dumplings which is correct sized...all the dishes are extremely small for the prices you pay.

The dumplings are juicy! We had the beef and carrot dumplings. It was great. The crispy duck with veggies was also great. Service was slightly slow. But the food was great!

The biggest criticism is the bad service. On one level, there isn't a great deal of common courtesy, but even more frustrating is the ridiculous wait time and lack of any system. Not only were we waiting for a very long time before we had to actively ask for just menus, we waited for literally over an hour and half for our dumplings (no exaggeration) to arrive which is completely unacceptable (especially since they're obviously frozen and only take minutes to ready). We politely asked twice while waiting what the problem was, and the issue was strongly downplayed (with lies) and we were just told that it would come soon each time, which it did not. There was zero effort made by the staff to keep us updated or explain the situation unless we actively called them over. Additionally, there was no goodwill gesture ever offered by the staff - no complementary drink or starter for the wait, or discount on the bill, which is definitely a reasonable expectation after waiting over 90 minutes. What's-more is that many people who came to the restaurant much after us, got their orders well before us, which was naturally highly frustrating and demonstrates bad organisation. The food itself was nothing special, it wasn't as good as I had been told to be honest, and it was definitely overpriced for what it was, but the whole experience was primarily ruined by such a terrible wait time and no real consideration from the staff for such. FYIs: Cash only, very limited vegetarian menu.

No, not excellent ravioli, one with a bad taste. Truly reviewable wanton soup. Not cold beer. But then: what's the problem with water in Berlin? In the bottle it costs three and a half euros for 25 cl. If you ask for the one from the tap they will bring you a glass of warm water.

The authentic, delicious food they offer is unfortunately shadowed by their poor service. They are generally fast and attentive, but we experienced something unacceptable twice in a row. We ordered the crispy duck and warned them about our peanut allergy. They said it wasn't an issue. Ten minutes later we got served a dish with peanuts. After raising the issue, they said they'd make us a new one since the nuts were already all over the food. Surprisingly, they removed the peanuts from the dish and reheated it in the microwave, giving a soggy texture to an otherwise delicious duck. This caused an allergic reaction as well, since the peanuts had already been in there. 4 months later we decided to give the restaurant a second chance and ordered the exact same duck, this time warning them 4 times about the allergy. Can you guess what ended up happening? We got served peanuts, we complained, they took them away and proceed to reheat the dish in the microwave As a customer, you feel insulted by this behaviour. Not only is it a health hazard, it's also very disrespectful to be served the same dish twice after failing to take an allergy warning correctly. If you have no allergies, this might be a great place. But if you do, make sure to have your insurance card ready since you might end up at the hospital.

Do you wanna eat cheap and while you have tasty food? This is it! Cheap and delish! One of my favourite spots of Berlin. I come here once a month to enjoy their amazing rice and dumplings. The service is fast and nice. I recommend the pork ones and the lamb!

Northern Chinese style dumplings served in 2 ways - boiled or pan-fried. One time they forgot our orders but were helpful and nice to us. The place is a hotspot in the neighborhood so it can be quite noisy and crowded especially on the weekends.

Can recommend this restaurant if you like Chinese food. Have a lot of choice on the menu. Food doesn't look special at first glance, but surprisingly it tastes really good. I just think it's a shame that you can always order 15-20 dumblings.

I was here because I wanted to eat Chinese Jiaozi again without having to go to Nuts or even have to pick up a wooden spoon myself. The restaurant was full, but I still managed to get a seat. There were different types of jiaozi and I couldn't really decide which one to take. In the end I took the 20 portion, which was a bit too small for my hunger. The Jiaozi are rather small by Chinese and private standards, but are ok in size for restaurant standards. But the most important thing is that the jiaozis have to taste good, and that's what you have here for me. Unfortunately I don't live in Berlin, but I will definitely come back here to eat Jiaozi. Next time I'll take the larger portion. Alternatively, you can also take the jiaozi uncooked, which has the advantage that you can easily prepare it yourself at home. They also have the usual restaurant fare here, but I only came here for Jiaozi. The decor is simple and decorated in classic Chinese restaurant style in reddish brown colors. To me it seems like a design transition from the classic German Chin restaurant to the modernized, simple gastro design of Asian restaurants. In terms of feeling, it's more for people who like street food and feel comfortable where there is an international crowd and young people. Due to its success, it is not really suitable for a relaxed family gathering. Which didn't bother me personally.

Really delicious and homemade dumplings are served here. You can choose between 20 pieces and 40 pieces per variety. You also have the choice whether you want them cooked or fried. The dumplings taste very good but are unfortunately served a bit carelessly. Personally, I would add some coriander on top or serve it with it. There is a chili paste on the table, as well as vinegar and soy sauce. There are also delicious starters, the potato salad is really tasty... It's just completely different and really good. Definitely try it. The service is quick and friendly. In terms of price, it's completely okay...20 pieces cost around 15 euros People like to take cash here, but it is also possible to use a card.

I have been several times to this place but I am not convinced about going back. The food is average, but the ambiete is not very cozy and especially disappointing is, that twice in our last visits we got the wrong bill and were supposed to pay more than we consumed.

Dumplings are amazingly cheap and good. But the service is the poorest in Berlin. It was written that we can pay with debit card (EC-Karte in German) only up to 25€. Our bill was 43€ and when I went to pay, they refuse to accept my debit card because wasn't German (but from Spain). I refuse to pay until: or they accept my Spanish debit card or they call the police to solve the situation (as nowhere was written that I had to pay with a German debit card). They didn't call them (of course) and after 30 minutes they accepted my debit card. Anyway, wrong service for one of the best Asian food in Berlin.

Prices too high for the food ordered: a simple dish with tofu, vegetables (mostly onion) and a little rice = €16. Furthermore, even though we were talking nicely, they made us pay and leave at 10pm on a Saturday night...

A very large selection of delicious and fresh dumblings. There are also various Chinese appetizers that are worth trying. I've eaten here a few times now and it's always been super fresh and delicious. Clear recommendation.

And this is supposed to be “dumpling heaven”? No, thank you very much, I don't have to go through this restaurant again, which is pretty much below average in pretty much all respects. Okay, except for the prices, which are pretty steep! I tried out the menu with my family and am now anything but happy and satisfied and can only strongly advise everyone not to come here. The dim sum was an insult both in terms of taste and appearance and was disastrously prepared, simply dumped on the plate like at school lunch. The oh-so-great grilled eggplant was - oh wonder - not grilled at all and not even tasty, and the chicken and duck were the run-of-the-mill standard stuff, tossed in a slightly oily sauce with raw onions and peppers. Just ridiculous and very, very cheeky to put something like that in front of guests and charge so much money for it. The service tried hard, but was still almost incapable of acting. We had to wait forever for the food and then everything still came with a delay, which was really annoying. The ambience was a bit greasy to gloomy and vinegar and sauces on the tables were unclean and unfortunately the same cheap stuff. My conclusion: Never again!

I've been coming here since 2006, from their move from Mitte to Prenzlberg--its my ace card. The SERVICE IS BAD, which I can say, because I've literally brought hundreds* if customers here, but I'm only going back because the quality of the cooking is great and nothin else . They've raised their prices, but only to normal pricing because they've been charging too less for ages. The jiaozi and artwork is concocted by the patriarch of Wok Show, equally made with depth and character.

Some of the best dumplings you can find in Berlin. Everything is tasty. But they only take cash and and EC cards and that's it.

Great dumplings for good prices but don’t expect much service. Had to wait for almost 30mins for drinks to arrive and had to wait for a hour to get our food - it wasn’t very busy either.

The dumplings here are always delicious and for quite a good price. I also recommend the cucumber salad. But the dumplings are where it’s at!

Very tasty food, nice and fast service and a good price.

I was really looking forward to eating here since I saw videos online. I prepared days before and checked their website and Google page which has no indication that you had to make a reservation. When I arrived, I asked for a table for 2, the lady already seemed dismissive to me and asked if I had a reservation and when I said no, she pretended to check the book but didn’t and told me there was no table and walked away. The restaurant was literally empty! And when I tried to ask if there was anything that could be done since the place looked quite empty, she began to yell at the Second Lady who was more polite to me and was trying to help. I can bet this stemmed from racism but whatever. Also, the ambiance was nothing to write home about. For the hype, I expected more.

Food was great. Staff was friendly. Crowded on Friday night. We had to wait a bit but was worth it.

Very good value for the price paid. You can get 40 dumplings for around 25 eur. Fried rice for 7 eur. Everything tasted good. My favorites were fried eggplants, dumplings and Sichuan chicken. Do reserve a table before coming. Otherwise you would need to wait in line. For 4 people it took around 1h of waiting time before getting a table. Time between ordering and serving is relatively fast.
