The quality has deteriorated significantly. For me personally, that was the last time I'll be there. The toilets were absolutely disgusting. The men's toilets were even occupied by cobwebs, and the women's toilets had walls splattered with something I don't want to know about. They were covered in excrement and hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. That's completely unacceptable.

Never again 🙈 There were dead flies in the soy sauce. When I handed it over and said so, I didn't even get a thank you...

The atmosphere is very spacious and pleasant when you enter the restaurant. It's bright (August 15, 2025, 6:00 PM) and very well laid out. The entrance and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. The food is decent, but if you opt for the buffet, the dishes are dry. The dishes you cook yourself are okay, but dry and not very seasoned. The service is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the drinks are in self-service refrigerators, which somewhat spoils the ambiance. The price is really reasonable and justified. You can go here and eat your fill (all you can eat), but it's not suitable for a romantic dinner. It's more suited to sweatpants, flip-flops, and people drinking beer from bottles.

Very solid all-you-can-eat menu where everyone can find something. Lunchtime buffet: €11.90 without drinks. In the evenings or on holidays, a full buffet and drinks included (Fanta Exotik beer, etc.)

Large rooms, pleasant atmosphere. As with all restaurants of this type, there can be a wait at the buffet. The containers containing the dishes are quite small, with six servings arranged in a small niche. If one person takes something from one container, everyone else has to wait. Standing next to each other, it's impossible to serve food. We also had a long line at the Mongolian grill, and it took a while for the food to be ready. All the dishes were delicious, and there was a wide selection. The service was fast and friendly, and very child-friendly. Our dog even got a water bowl right away. We would love to come back here again!

The buffet was okay. The food was a bit cold at first, and only small portions were on display. The warming boxes had probably been turned on just a short time before. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The restrooms, in particular, had probably not been cleaned for several days.

We were at the buffet on a Friday evening. The food sometimes smelled unpleasant and generally made a stale impression. The “Eight Treasures” dish tasted and smelled very unpleasant. The salad no longer seemed fresh, and the raw meat for the Mongolian buffet already had dry edges and looked older. The fried rice and noodles had already dried to the bottom of the containers. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right at a price of around €28.

And I really enjoyed our visit to Chimonja in the evening. The buffet was exactly what we would expect in an all you can eat restaurant in this price range. All the “classics” were there and were beautifully presented. In addition, you could put together your own dishes from different ingredients. Not recommended, no food almost always, today on Easter Monday the buffet suddenly cost €27 instead of €19, only drinks were included and for once there was enough food. Chocolate fountain was on and there were desserts EXCEPTIONALLY

Unfortunately our visit to Chimonja was a huge disappointment. The food had an unpleasant smell that was very reminiscent of a stable - really unappetizing. In addition, the by-products used are of the cheapest variety, e.g. B. the ketchup tastes like the cheapest discount product. Given the quality, the prices are absolutely exorbitant. We definitely expected something better for the money. It's a shame, but we definitely won't eat here again.

So guys, what was that, we had made a reservation, when we arrived we had to go into the cold next room and the table had to be set first. Soup only came after ten minutes, duck was almost always out. The staff was hopelessly overwhelmed, we actually know it differently. Conclusion: you won't eat here on a Saturday anymore.

After waiting at our place for 20 minutes, we got up again and left. It's a shame that no employee just looks at the customers...

We had a buffet dinner yesterday. We went to the restaurant 3/4 hour after the store opened. Unfortunately, the food was cold - lukewarm despite the warming containers, which were also very unhygienic. The salad was also musty and therefore didn't taste good. In general it wasn't very clean and the toilets lacked soap, paper towels and the hand dryer didn't work. For 27.50 per person you can expect more.

Buffet including drinks. On-site parking. Beautifully and modernly furnished. Buffet: Peking soup hot and delicious. There was a small selection of sushi. No soy sauce, sambal or salt/pepper at the table. Food at the buffet was all at most lukewarm and very fatty (chicken, duck, squid, spring rolls). Ingredients for Mongolian grill were partly frozen, but not fresh. When the selected assortment came back fried, there was no taste in the vegetables and broccoli, the meat was dead fried and tough. Chocolate bunnen still solid and cold after over 1 hour. The choice of dessert was rather poor. Pudding out, pineapple sour. Drinks: various sodas, soft drinks, beer. A fridge was warm and drinks were not chilled. Price performance doesn't fit.

Opening time from 5.30 p.m. Were there at 5:45 p.m. Selection not particularly extensive. Unfortunately, almost all of the food and side dishes were almost cold, at most lukewarm. Sushi selection isn't particularly large either. No soy sauce at the table, no sambal olek or chili. Drinks cabinet with soft drinks didn't cool. Chocolate fountain still not operating at 6:40pm and chocolate is solid. The Peking soup was good and hot. Unfortunately Mongolian meat was fried to death. Broccoli probably frozen food. Overall rather disappointing.

Cheap and delicious lunch, also available to pick up on Saturday

We've been here many times. We actually always order from the menu and it tastes simply amazing. Super large portions. My recommendation is the crispy chicken with peanut sauce. Absolute banger! The staff is super nice and I think the location is pretty too.

Great Asian buffet - very large selection and although the restaurant was very large and busy, it was always refilled. Drinks were included in the price of €27.50. But you should definitely make a reservation on the weekend!!

We have been eating there at the buffet for years. It was always good and there wasn't much to complain about. The last time we were there was about a year ago - the buffet was pretty empty and the food tasted really disgusting. Toilets weren't really clean and you have to turn on the power at the counter for the changing table. Today we went to dinner with 3 children and 4 adults. The high chairs were sticky and dirty. By 6 p.m. there was hardly anything left in the bowls. At some point it was refilled, my husband had rotten chicken and the melons were fermented. Ice cream was also really messed up. And the toilets are just a disgrace. The sinks are so dirty, the water has been reduced, washing hands is almost impossible. Once again the electricity in the changing area had to be requested and there was no water there for washing hands. The tables downstairs were also very dusty and the floor was dirty. It didn't take an hour for our children to get diarrhea. Both of them only ate nuggets. We definitely won't go there again for this price. There are much better restaurants with buffets, we like to drive 30 minutes to get fresh food and clean toilets.

Unfortunately, we were often disappointed. The food itself is okay, but I think some things aren't 100% fresh. I hope it changes again but for now we won't be coming anymore.

Came to the restaurant at 8 p.m. When I was told that the voucher book was being used, there was a long face and, accordingly, only a short, unfriendly note. At the buffet I noticed that there was hardly any sushi left. The remaining dishes are already burnt and dried out. When we asked if we could top it up, the cold shrimp were warmed up again in the kitchen. The pepper in the pork dish was already broken, i.e. sour. Out of necessity we switched to Mongolian. This was then fried in the kitchen. What came next was bland and not acceptable. Service underground. Only when asked was a glass of wine reluctantly needed. No clearing of plates. They were only taken away after we left. 27.50 for the buffet, 90% of which wasn't available, a disgrace Conclusion The 1st and last time To add toilets dirty 2nd attempt voucher book 16.09. Today was definitely better. Buffet better filled. Sushi available. All in all, they made an effort. But there is still room for improvement. Correction from 0 to 3 stars.

Noodles and rice smelled of cigarette smoke and tasted inedible, the fish was no longer good, it tasted spoiled and the chicken was also bad, the buffet was almost empty anyway, which is cheeky for these prices. By far the worse restaurant I've ever eaten at. The most arrogant and unfriendly boss ever. Never again.

When we were there for the first time, everything was fine. But last time it was really the last time. If I could I would give zero stars. The service (probably also the owner) was unfriendly, but can you even call that service 🤔 At the beginning she came to the table and asked what you wanted, we had the buffet and from then on she didn't come by anymore. The plates used to be cleared away immediately but now they are piling up, just like bottles and cans. If you want to pay you have to look for her yourself and point it out to her. If you want to visit the restaurant, you should only use the toilet after eating, because after that you will literally miss the food (who knows how clean the kitchen is then 🤮) Dirty walls, sinks just disgusting. One faucet doesn't work at all and the other one just drips. Because if you pee in the bushes somewhere it's definitely more hygienic than in this store. When it comes to eating, you can leave it alone if you don't think about hygiene, but dishes aren't really refilled anymore, so you have to be there early so that you have a choice. There is always a lot of demand for duck, but you have to be lucky to get one. But as I said, it was our last visit, just thinking about it makes me sick.

If I could... I would give zero stars, the toilets/partitions are dirty, let alone the doors. The floor in the restaurant is dirty and greasy. I really wonder if a health authority has never been there before? The ice chest was dirty and I preferred not to eat anything from it. My thoughts were 🤢what will the kitchen look like. The food was absolutely horrible and sometimes cold, drinks (Spezi) were made from plastic bottles from Lidl. I will never enter this restaurant again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Horrible food, anti-social conditions

The ambience is nice, the service is not friendly to everyone. You can go there with a dog, but you will be treated disadvantageously. It's good that you can get to a quiet corner with your dog, but the waitress only clears the table to a limited extent. Food is OK, very little choice in contrast to other all you can eat restaurants.

Actually no star at all, I'm sorry but that's not possible at all, it was clear to me that I wasn't expecting a 5 star meal but honestly you're better off in any kebab shop. Meat is either tough or dry, every spoonful at the buffet is endlessly greasy, generally the food is lukewarm, ice chest...take a look for yourself...no way. Dear Chimonja team, We visited your restaurant for the first time yesterday, Friday evening at 6 p.m. The restaurant was not very busy, the ambience and room were clean and absolutely fine. The three of us (2 adults and 1 child) ate from the buffet (around €28 for adults and around €17 for children), drinks all included and as much as you wanted. The buffet had a good selection, but the quality and appearance didn't match. We tried almost everything. My stepson (8 years old) asked for salad, fruit and vegetables e.g. tomatoes, cucumbers etc. but they weren't available. I had mixed together something from the Mongolian buffet to have prepared for me (octopus, shrimp, vegetables), but the shrimp were all with intestines and the squid was very tough and rubbery. The waiter kindly came to our table and I told him openly and politely what had not been given. He just nodded and continued walking. The conclusion: Just under €70 for 3 people was too much for this quality! We won't be coming back again.

It was our first time there and we have to say we won't be going there again. We were there around 7:30 and the restaurant was open until 10 p.m., but the buffet was still pretty empty. Nothing was refilled during that time. The fact that the dishes were not sufficiently labeled does not speak for the service. So you couldn't tell what meat it was or whether the dish was spicy, not so spicy or not spicy at all. On the subject of service. The waitress only came to us once at the beginning for drinks and then just walked past us. The plates were already piled up and were only cleared away by our colleague when he brought the freshly fried food. Regarding the drinks, it must be said that the evening buffet is, among other things, self-service. There are beverage refrigerators available that you can help yourself from. However, if you want a juice or a juice spritzer, you have to rely on the service. Nobody came by to pay either; you had to go to the counter and make your request known there.

I brought this to the owner's attention and she said she would take care of it. AND NOW THE SERIOUS THING, every week I went to the toilet and looked at the same spot every time. It's now February 2023, so the whole thing was 8 months ago!!! The same stain under the toilet for 8 months! On the other hand... The hygiene in general is serious. The tables and high chairs are permanently greasy. The last time I tried to put my baby in a high chair, it was full of grains of rice and Jell-O. Also, ALL high chairs are broken. Recently it even got to the point where my son fell out of a high chair because it fell out of place! What's more: the buffet is filled very sparingly but the prices are getting more and more expensive. Every time I was here I literally had to beg for it to be refilled. AND THAT AT 12.30 P.M. ALREADY!!! Last but not least, I complain about the service: every time I was there, the plates piled up on the tables and were only cleared away when we had finished eating and paid. In addition, you literally have to beg for a drink because you aren't being served. Every time you have to run to the counter and point out that you need something to drink or that the plates are piling up. The owner (also the waitress) would rather chat with her relatives behind the counter or play around on her cell phone than check at the tables to see if everything is still OK or clear away. CONCLUSION: If you want to stay healthy, you should avoid this restaurant. And if you want to get full, you should also go somewhere else. I strongly advise against it!

Never again and I don't recommend it to anyone! I was there with my family on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and we wanted to take advantage of the buffet. Unfortunately... almost everything was empty or dry (buffet until 2:30 p.m.)... We walked around the buffet with empty plates and hoped that someone from the staff would add fresh food soon, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Spacious restaurant with acceptable prices. Eating a la carte or buffet. Unfortunately, the food is not good. I ordered the obligatory fried noodles with chicken. What do I get? Fried spaghetti!! Unfortunately, it's not very Asian and not very tasty either. What remains are the at least polite Asian waitresses with poor German. At least something Asian... Unfortunately, I can only advise against using the sanitary facilities. Everything is dirty. The floor is sticky. The faucet reluctantly drips some water to wash your hands. There are no towels or dryers. God, I hope the kitchen doesn't look like that too. I don't have any recommendations other than this: "Better go somewhere else to eat!"

We had lunch there on a Saturday (reserved for 14 people, also between Christmas and New Year's Eve, when you can expect a lot of customers). The buffet was only a third as large as before. No more choice of meat and fish. At the beginning there were only a few pieces of sushi with a little salmon on it, but at 12 p.m. the only refills were fishless sushi - the taste and consistency of the rice was poor. Hardly any choice of desserts, the chocolate fountain wasn't on. No salad selection like before. Overall, a lot of things seemed like ready-made products - a meal that I can prepare at home to be tastier and of better quality. The tables were not clean, the menu card stands were completely sticky and stained. The furniture was dusty and the windows had the feeling that they had all the handprints from the last two years on them. Of course the Buffett price of €10.90 is ok - but you feel like you're being used and the atmosphere makes you uncomfortable.

Waren zu 7 da und sind leider hungrig wider gegangen... alles war leer .... es wurden nur Nudeln nachgefüllt .... von Sushi gab es nur mit paprika auf Anfrage sagte er mehr gibt es nicht.... erste und letzte mal da gewessen .... die garnelen wo wir noch ergattern konnten haben vor fett getrieft.... grill Gemüse komplett verkocht und schwarz... noch nie so einen minderwertigen Chinese gesehen und mussten den kompletten Preis zahlen .... zum Nachtisch lagen paar keske und 1 Kuchen....

Mittagsbüffett wurde trotzdem das das ganze Restaurant um 12 Uhr voll war, kaum aufgefüllt. Sushi war eingetrocknet. Kaum Auswahl vorhanden.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bediente uns schnell. Wir waren zu Mittag zum All you can eat dort! Alles Speisen wirkten frisch zubereitet und waren warm, ich denke für abends gibt es dann noch eine größere Auswahl an Speisen. Uns hatte die Auswahl für den Preis Mittags vollkommen ausgereicht! Daher können wir uns auch überhaupt nicht über die Preise beschweren. Einige Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt, wenn ein Gericht leer war, hat es eine Weile gedauert bist wieder nachgefüllt wurde!

Waren definitiv mal besser. Sonntag Mittag werden die Reste vom Samstag Abend serviert. Teilweise war das Essen kalt. Fritiertes Essen war teilweise ganz Gelb vom Öl. Nicht empfehlenswert 👎

Waren um ca. 19 Uhr da fast alles war leer wurde auch nicht Aufgefüllt . Essen war ok aber für diesen Preis keine große Auswahl.

Ich würde gerne keinen Stern geben wenn dass möglich wäre. Ich und meine Frau waren dort zu essen. Gehen 19:30 waren die meisten speisen schon aufgebraucht, diese wurden auch nicht nachgefüllt, verständlich, wer will in einem chinesischem Restaurant schon Sushi, Ente oder sonstige Speisen für die man bezahlt. Der Reis war so trocken da hätte man locker Papier draus machen können. Nachtisch ( Früchte für den Schoko Brunnen ) waren gegen 20 Uhr leer und wurden nicht aufgefüllt. Verständlich wer will den einen Nachspeise. Dass frisch Gebratene essen was zu uns an den Tisch gebracht und serviert wurde sollten wir uns natürlich ohne einen guten Appetit der kellnerin schmecken lassen. Daher muss ich sagen werden wir diese Kneipe nicht mehr besuchen.

Reservierung hat gut geklappt und das Essen war an sich in Ordnung. Da es das Abend Buffet war, waren manche Gerichte kalt oder lange leer, aber im großen und ganzen war alles okay. Leider ist die Chefin /Bedienung unfassbar unverschämt, unfreundlich und weiß sich nicht gegenüber Gästen zu benehmen deshalb ist es der ausschlaggebende Punkt dieses Restaurant nicht mehr zu besuchen und auch jedem abzuraten. Es gibt genügend Mitbewerber mit sehr netten Personal und gleicher Essensqualität.

Wir waren an einem Samstag um 20:00 Uhr dort, und das Buffet war schon fast Leer. Es wurde auch nichts mehr zubereitet obwohl das Restaurant bis 23:30 geöffnet hat… Die Qualität von den Speisen war auch sehr miserabel.

Waren genau um 11:30 Uhr im Lokal an einem Freitag und da war das Essen mehr kalt als warm. In der Eistruhe waren die Behälter vom Vortag noch ausgekratzt und vereist .Nie mehr wieder.!!!!!

Wir waren um c.a 20 uhr essen und haben das Buffet gewählt. Das Essen war nur lauwarm und total verkocht. Die Nachspeisen sind billigste Supermark-Ware. Die Toiletten sind an sich schön, wobei das Waschbecken komplett unsauber und verranzt war. Der Preis ist für das gebotene Buffet Wucher- da ist der Taipan in Mering deutlich besser!

Ich hätte mir einen Hinweis gewünscht, das das Buffet um 20.00 h schon fast leer ist und somit eine Speise von der Karte angebracht wäre. Im hinteren Bereich mit den frisch zubereiteten Speisen gab es noch einiges. Die Sauberkeit lässt einige Wünsche offen...

Waren heute zum Mittagstisch , das Essen war lauwarm . Das Fleisch war zäh , die Auswahl sehr minimalistisch .Der Geschmack war durchschnittlich . Der Preis pro Person war trotzdem i.O. Bei den Nachspeisen war so gut wie nichts im Buffet. Die Toiletten sind ja eigentlich ein Aushängeschild von jedem Restaurant. Leider sehr unsauber und verdreckt. Bewertung ein Minusstern. Der Handföhn mit Schimmel und das Ambiente verschlissen. Für uns war das der erste und letzte Besuch.

Warnung nach eigener Meinung : Das Essen ist schlecht. Insbesondere das Sushi. meist fast nix da , dann ab und zu mit Paprika?! Statt frischem Fisch. Das Essen braten lassen, auch das war leider schlecht. bei 26eur buffet . Mir fällt auf dass die positiven 5 Sterne Bewertungen fast ausschl von Local Rezensoren sind, ich kann mir das nicht erklären und findest es auffällig.

Mittagsbuffet All you can eat Preis/Leistung top. Alles frisch und sehr lecker. Gibt auch eine kleine aber gute Auswahl an Sushi Mittags. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Schade mittlerweile ein richrig ekliges Restaurant. Toiletten dreckig und funktionslos wie der rest des Restaurants da vergeht einem gott sei dank der appetit.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung und schmeckt gut. Die Toiletten hingegen sind immer dreckig, wirklich dreckig. Es fehlt teils Toilettenpapier und aus den Wasserhähnen kommt nur ein Rinnsal.

Essen war ganz ok. Habe a la Card gegessen und kann daher übers Buffet nichts sagen. Hat leider fast eine dreiviertel Stunde gedauert bis 2 Portionen gebratene Nudeln mit Hühnchenfleisch gebracht wurden.

Wir gehen bzw. gingen schon seit ca. 2 Jahren gerne oft dort essen. Leider lässt die letzten Monate vieles extrem nach: Qualität der Lebensmittel, Sauberkeit im Gastraum und vor Allem in den Toiletten. Der Boden klebt teilweise, die Tische ebenso. In den Toiletten sind die Böden total schmutzig, schwarze Krümel, defintiv Dreck von vor längerer Zeit. Auch die Eingangstür zun den Toiletten klebt und ist schmutzfleckig. Der Boden klebt überall und man sieht richtige Schlieren. Die Kloschüsseln sind ab und zu sauber....wenn man Glück hat. Die Fleisch- und besonders die Fischqualität lässt auch immer mehr nach, frisch sieht vieles leider nicht mehr aus. Am Abendbuffet mit mongolischem Grill ließen wir uns letztes Mal schon nichts mehr grillen, da Fleisch/Fisch oft seltsam geschmeckt hat und teils einfach noch roh war. Ich finde es grundsätzlich sehr schade, da das Personal freundlich ist und wir uns sonst vor einigen Monaten immer wohlgefühlt hatten. Vielleicht ändert sich ja ein bisschen was, wieder zum Besseren. Wir werden evtl. wieder vorbeischauen, aber aktuell ist es leider das Geld nicht mehr wert in unseren Augen.

Die Suppe war lecker, aber das Buffet vom Essen her war durchschnittlich

All you can eat bis zum Umfallen und gestern wäre ich beinahe geplatzt wie in Monty Pythons Film. Absolut empfehlenswert, der mongolische Grill. Essen aussuchen, grillen lassen und genießen. Und weil es ja all-you-can-eat ist, danach das Ganze gleich nochmal. Werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen sobald ich wieder was essen kann. Update: Inzwischen war ich wieder da und musste zu meinem Bedauern feststellen, dass die Qualität massiv nachgelassen hat. Der ursprüngliche Flair zu Beginn ist inzwischen vollständig verflogen. Sie Auswahl am Buffet ist deutlich geschrumpft. Und statt All-you-can-eat war ich froh, dass ich mit dem Essen rechtzeitig aufgehört habe, denn es lag den ganzen Nachmittag schwer im Magen. Ich bin entsetzt und enttäuscht zugleich. Ob ich nochmal hingehe, weiß ich nicht.

0 Sterne, absolut nicht zu empfehlen!!! GELD VERSCHWENDUNG. Hähnchen war verdorben, Ente steinhart und soßen ranzig. Auf Beschwerde hin wurden wir unangenehm Behandelt und bedrängt. Es wurde keine Entschädigung angeboten, man wurde nur belächelt und es wurde über uns hinter der Theke gelästert.

Selten so eklig gegessen und schlecht bedient, beziehungsweise garnicht bedient worden. Das Hähnchen und Entenfleisch hat abgelaufen gerochen, das wurde der „Bedienung“ mitgeteilt, welche dann den „Chef“ geholt hat der extrem unfreundlich war. Die Toiletten sind schlimmer als Dixi-Klos. Wenn ich - Sterne verteilen könnte, würde ich das machen. #lebensmittelvergiftungincoming
