ChiChiMi Restaurant in Erfurt

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant. The food is delicious, the value is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I particularly noticed that the portions are often a bit more generous at the beginning of the week. Today, there was also a small nitrogen show for everyone who ordered sushi – a nice touch that was usually reserved only for larger orders or sushi menus. One minor criticism is the cocktails: You can barely taste the alcohol, and they consist mostly of ice cubes. Our Aperol also came with an orange slice, which looked more like an old decorative fruit than fresh fruit. The cleanliness of the restrooms could also be improved, and the menus are now quite worn. Another aspect is the noise level, especially in the vaulted cellar. While the room with the cherry blossom tree in the middle is atmospherically very beautiful, once it's full, it's extremely loud. It's almost impossible to have a conversation there – even when the room is only half full and music is playing. In my opinion, this area is therefore not suitable for a romantic dinner or a first date. Overall: a restaurant with delicious food and friendly service, but significant room for improvement in terms of cocktails, cleanliness, and acoustics. Not five stars for me, but still a place I enjoy visiting.

We made a reservation at this restaurant for a birthday dinner and were looking forward to some good sushi. When we arrived and sat down, the waiters started sorting and rearranging bottles and glasses. It was extremely loud and disruptive. Even after a brief, polite reminder that it was very loud and we were sitting outside, there was no response. Just a minute after we sat down, the waiter came over and continued sorting right next to us. Again, extremely loud, disruptive, and very inconsiderate. When we asked him to turn it down a bit or at least close the door behind him, he deliberately sorted the bottles into the crates more loudly. The other customers in the restaurant also found this very disruptive. A truly unpleasant experience. We won't be coming back.

I've eaten at ChiChiMi twice now. I ordered the same Fusion Set for one person twice for €28 each. I got something completely different twice. The number of sushi rolls wasn't right; some were missing. This definitely needs to be improved! The menus also need to be updated. Otherwise, everything was great.

Hello everyone, The food was OK. We had sushi, but unfortunately it wasn't seasoned enough. It seemed very bland. The main course was supposed to be spicy, but it was rather spicy. The outdoor ambiance was OK, but the seating was rather unpleasant after a while; after a short while, your legs would fall asleep on the stool. It wasn't for us and we won't consider it again. We had a small business lunch at ChiChiMi and went there based on the good reviews. We weren't disappointed. I had vegetarian dumplings for starters and glass noodles with beef for the main course. Everything was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service was friendly and very authentic. We'd be happy to come back.

My family and I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Special requests were dealt with quickly and friendly. The ambiance and decor are very nice, and the food is truly delicious. A small suggestion for improvement: it would be great to list vegetarian and vegan dishes as such on the menu, which would save us the hassle of searching through allergens.

Very good food and good value for money. Very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The only downside was the heat in the restaurant itself, which was probably caused by the stove, not the air, as it was pleasant outside. All in all, a good restaurant and highly recommended. Unfortunately, I can't say whether the sushi is good, but the curry was very good 👍🏻

They were so wonderful. Luckily we were accommodated on a Saturday during dinner time without a reservation. The staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous.

We were there for dinner and sat inside. There's also the option to sit outside. It's really nice in the summer. The service was friendly and our food was really good. Only the toilet flush seemed a bit odd. The push-button holder was attached with duct tape. The menus can be updated if you like. Great food, great ambience, nice vegetarian selection! Only the drinks service is far too slow or the food is too quick. Once again, drinking came after eating, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

Food: We ordered chicken teriyaki as the Appetizer, it is tasty. We also ordered Bulgogi as main dish and it’s not my favourite so far. The beef was like a gummy and also the glass noodles as well. Service: We waited for more than 10mins before the ordered was served. We make online reservation but we came 30mins ahead and they let us seat in the table that lots of people are passing by. I think it’s also our fault but nevertheless it’s very uncomfortable during the time we eat since the next tables are so close to us. Somebody‘s dragging a chair behind me and it keeps on bumping behind me. Atmosphere: The interior of the restaurant is nice, very Asian vibes. I think we’re going to give a 2nd chance and comes again for another dish. We‘ll see.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of someone we knew. It is a bit difficult to find as it is in a courtyard which is accessed through a relatively small archway. We were there shortly after midday during the week and had made a reservation. The restaurant was relatively empty at this point. However, you should reserve a table in advance, especially on weekends. The restaurant was lovingly decorated. The staff was very nice. Communication also worked without any problems (unfortunately this is not the case in all Asian restaurants). The time for food preparation was reasonable. The food was beautifully presented, was at just the right temperature and tasted very good. The cocktails were in no way inferior to the food. The prices were also appropriate for the quality. In short, a clear thumbs up for this restaurant. And yes, we would go there again at any time. Note: To get to the toilet you have to leave the restaurant briefly. But it's not a problem even in sub-zero temperatures.

Fantastic food in an interesting atmosphere. You could hardly look around the tastefully furnished and designed vaulted cellar when the fantastic food arrived. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Erfurt so I can come back here again.

Super tasty and lovingly prepared food. The fish was fresh and super tender. I drank a mojito which is highly recommended. Rarely have I had such a good one. The sodas also look good for those who don't want to drink alcohol. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is also very inviting. We will definitely come back.

There were two of us in the restaurant, in the upper part. They were perfect dishes and we especially want to highlight the rosé wine. There is rarely a good rosé for us. The waitress was very attentive, he even saw when the glasses of wine were empty and refilled us from the bottle. We are going here again on our short vacation.

We ordered food for a large group last night. And while the food was really good, the service was subpar. After we ordered the food with a delivery time of one hour, the food only arrived after more than 2 hours. After calling the restaurant we were assured that the food was on the way, but that wasn't the case. Only after calling several times and being informed that we wanted to cancel the order did the food arrive in a hurry. No excuse. I would never order there again.

The food tastes good. Service and ambience are impeccable. The restaurant is well maintained. One of the best Asian fusion restaurants in Erfurt.

We called and asked for a table and were told the restaurant was closed. We then went to Takimi. Highly recommended. Since we were in town anyway and heard voices on the phone, we walked past Chichimi to have a look and it was open.

Self-made sushi variation. The nice young waiter recommended incorporating sashimi into my composition as a starter. In total, sashimi starter with seaweed salad, 2 x 8 sushi rolls (special) and special nigiri (4 pieces). It was absolutely delicious. Very good fish and best quality. As always: If you want really good sushi, you have to be prepared to spend money for it. In total for me with a large beer = €57.50. The price is absolutely justified for what is on offer. My request not to have a cucumber was responded to very professionally and a remedy was provided (avocado). I sat outside in the courtyard so that I can't see anything of the atmosphere inside. Cushions for the wooden benches would be a quality improvement measure; but this is only in passing... Thank you very much for that - also for the great recommendation!
