ChiChiMi Restaurant in Erfurt

The sushi was really good, maybe not the best in Thüringen, but definitely high on the list. The presentation was also great. However, the service wasn't great. We waited a really long time, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The waiter gave us extra edamame to apologize, so we were okay with that. The problem was that one of the sushi rolls was missing. After checking the photos and discussing it, they said we wouldn't need to pay for it. However, it was listed again in the receipt, and since it was one of the pricier rolls at €17, it felt a bit like a trap. After explaining again and the waiter checking it out, we ended up not having to pay for the missing roll. Tldr: It's okay, but check if everything's there. We saved a little money by taking a photo, but the food was good.

We ate at ChiChiMi on Saturday afternoon before the evening rush. The food (curry and udon) arrived quickly and tasted good. Since the staff wasn't very busy at that time, they were mostly engaged in private conversations and playing loud music, which was a bit annoying. The layout of the two separate rooms makes the restaurant somewhat uncomfortable. Reservations are recommended during peak hours. All in all, though, you can find good and tasty Asian fusion cuisine here.

This restaurant was truly the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to; they even have a vegan menu. I had a romantic date there, and my partner was thrilled. Thanks again for the Aperol.

A highly recommended restaurant. Very fast and friendly service. Everything was delicious 😋. A wonderful atmosphere. You should dress warmly, especially in the basement. There was a bit of a draft. A small blanket might be a good idea, but I didn't ask. Perhaps they had some available. However, this didn't detract from the wonderful evening we had.

ChiChiMi impresses with its very prompt service, elegant ambiance, and excellent sushi. The dishes were very well-balanced and light. My only complaint is that the dining room was a bit too noisy, which is probably due to the vaulted ceiling. I would gladly return anytime.

We discovered this fantastic restaurant, somewhat tucked away in a courtyard between the fish market and the cathedral square. We had everything we could eat, from appetizers to dessert 😄 The quality of the food is outstanding, the sushi was also divine, and the dessert was equally delicious. I was here for the first time today. I found the setting very cozy, the food delicious, and the service excellent. It was very quick and uncomplicated ❤️ The only thing I would recommend, because we found it really difficult, is putting up a small sign at the front of the street to let people know that it's in this courtyard at the back.

We ate at ChiChiMi in the early evening. The service was very friendly. The menu offers a large selection of sushi, but also some other main courses. The prices for the sushi are on the higher side, but this is reflected in the quality and taste. When the food is served, there's a little "show" with dry ice.

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant. The food is delicious, the value is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I particularly noticed that the portions are often a bit more generous at the beginning of the week. Today, there was also a small nitrogen show for everyone who ordered sushi – a nice touch that was usually reserved only for larger orders or sushi menus. One minor criticism is the cocktails: You can barely taste the alcohol, and they consist mostly of ice cubes. Our Aperol also came with an orange slice, which looked more like an old decorative fruit than fresh fruit. The cleanliness of the restrooms could also be improved, and the menus are now quite worn. Another aspect is the noise level, especially in the vaulted cellar. While the room with the cherry blossom tree in the middle is atmospherically very beautiful, once it's full, it's extremely loud. It's almost impossible to have a conversation there – even when the room is only half full and music is playing. In my opinion, this area is therefore not suitable for a romantic dinner or a first date. Overall: a restaurant with delicious food and friendly service, but significant room for improvement in terms of cocktails, cleanliness, and acoustics. Not five stars for me, but still a place I enjoy visiting.

We made a reservation at this restaurant for a birthday dinner and were looking forward to some good sushi. When we arrived and sat down, the waiters started sorting and rearranging bottles and glasses. It was extremely loud and disruptive. Even after a brief, polite reminder that it was very loud and we were sitting outside, there was no response. Just a minute after we sat down, the waiter came over and continued sorting right next to us. Again, extremely loud, disruptive, and very inconsiderate. When we asked him to turn it down a bit or at least close the door behind him, he deliberately sorted the bottles into the crates more loudly. The other customers in the restaurant also found this very disruptive. A truly unpleasant experience. We won't be coming back.

I've eaten at ChiChiMi twice now. I ordered the same Fusion Set for one person twice for €28 each. I got something completely different twice. The number of sushi rolls wasn't right; some were missing. This definitely needs to be improved! The menus also need to be updated. Otherwise, everything was great.

Hello everyone, The food was OK. We had sushi, but unfortunately it wasn't seasoned enough. It seemed very bland. The main course was supposed to be spicy, but it was rather spicy. The outdoor ambiance was OK, but the seating was rather unpleasant after a while; after a short while, your legs would fall asleep on the stool. It wasn't for us and we won't consider it again. We had a small business lunch at ChiChiMi and went there based on the good reviews. We weren't disappointed. I had vegetarian dumplings for starters and glass noodles with beef for the main course. Everything was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service was friendly and very authentic. We'd be happy to come back.

My family and I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Special requests were dealt with quickly and friendly. The ambiance and decor are very nice, and the food is truly delicious. A small suggestion for improvement: it would be great to list vegetarian and vegan dishes as such on the menu, which would save us the hassle of searching through allergens.

Only the toilet flush seemed a bit odd. The push-button holder was attached with duct tape. The menus can be updated if you like. Food: We ordered chicken teriyaki as the Appetizer, it is tasty. We also ordered Bulgogi as main dish and it’s not my favourite so far. The beef was like a gummy and also the glass noodles as well. Service: We waited for more than 10mins before the ordered was served. We make online reservation but we came 30mins ahead and they let us seat in the table that lots of people are passing by. I think it’s also our fault but nevertheless it’s very uncomfortable during the time we eat since the next tables are so close to us. Somebody‘s dragging a chair behind me and it keeps on bumping behind me. Atmosphere: The interior of the restaurant is nice, very Asian vibes. I think we’re going to give a 2nd chance and comes again for another dish. We‘ll see.

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of someone we knew. It is a bit difficult to find as it is in a courtyard which is accessed through a relatively small archway. We were there shortly after midday during the week and had made a reservation. The restaurant was relatively empty at this point. However, you should reserve a table in advance, especially on weekends. The restaurant was lovingly decorated. The staff was very nice. Communication also worked without any problems (unfortunately this is not the case in all Asian restaurants). The time for food preparation was reasonable. The food was beautifully presented, was at just the right temperature and tasted very good. The cocktails were in no way inferior to the food. The prices were also appropriate for the quality. In short, a clear thumbs up for this restaurant. And yes, we would go there again at any time. Note: To get to the toilet you have to leave the restaurant briefly. But it's not a problem even in sub-zero temperatures.

Super tasty and lovingly prepared food. The fish was fresh and super tender. I drank a mojito which is highly recommended. Rarely have I had such a good one. The sodas also look good for those who don't want to drink alcohol. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is also very inviting. We will definitely come back.
