Checkinevent GmbH in Mülheim an der Ruhr

We ordered two pizzas from this pizzeria for the first time today. One pizza was wrong – okay, that can happen. But the fact that the second pizza used cheap, smoked ham instead of air-dried Parma ham, even though the menu clearly states "Parma ham," is a rip-off and completely unacceptable. Smoked ham instead of Parma ham? A double failure – as pizza makers and as Italians!

A very nice location with a beautiful ambiance and first-class food.

Almost perfect! The complimentary appetizer was imaginative and delicious. The menu was small, elegantly presented on the plates. The portions were generous and of the highest quality; the mustard roast, rack of lamb, and boiled beef were cooked to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The fried potatoes were in a league of their own, and the salad was a true culinary delight. The prices are a bit higher, but entirely justified. Ample parking and a beautiful location on the Ruhr River. We will definitely be back! Addendum: Since our first visit, we have now dined at Höppeler's four times, this time for goose. In short, outstanding!

Very tasty food, friendly service.

Very cozy little pub with a nice landlord who takes time for his guests. The crowd is nice and there is a small, handmade food selection. Always my pleasure.
