Kaiserstraße 52 A, Mülheim, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany Very cozy little pub with a nice landlord who takes time for his guests. The crowd is nice and there is a small, handmade food selection. Always my pleasure.

August-Thyssen-Straße 123Almost perfect! The complimentary appetizer was imaginative and delicious. The menu was small, elegantly presented on the plates. The portions were generous and of the highest quality; the mustard roast, rack of lamb, and boiled beef were cooked to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The fried potatoes were in a league of their own, and the salad was a true culinary delight. The prices are a bit higher, but entirely justified. Ample parking and a beautiful location on the Ruhr River. We will definitely be back! Addendum: Since our first visit, we have now dined at Höppeler's four times, this time for goose. In short, outstanding!
