Charlie's Restaurant Café Bar: Burger heaven meets chic ambiance! Charlie's Restaurant Café Bar has definitely become one of my favorite places, and for good reason! When it comes to burgers, they're absolutely top-notch. The burgers are simply amazing – juicy, perfectly cooked, and topped with high-quality ingredients. A taste experience you shouldn't miss every time. But Charlie's isn't just about the food. The ambiance is truly chic and modern, making a visit particularly pleasant. It's the ideal place to meet up with friends or spend a relaxing evening. And for those hot summer days, there's another plus: you can sit outside and enjoy a cocktail. That's unbeatable, especially in the warmer months. Speaking of cocktails: I really like that they offer Monkey 47 Gin! It shows that they value quality, and the Monkey 47 makes every gin and tonic a truly delicious experience. Whether for a burger treat, a relaxed cocktail evening, or simply to enjoy the stylish ambience – Charlie's Restaurant Café Bar is a clear recommendation!

We stopped by Charlie's just for a drink and received very friendly service. The selection of drinks was very large, and you could sit comfortably outside.

I go to your restaurant regularly because I really enjoy your burgers. My visit yesterday at lunchtime (between 12 and 1 p.m.) was all the more disappointing, as I experienced a very unpleasant situation with a waitress with blond hair. First, she took our order – I ordered two portions of mayonnaise, and a friend ordered another. When the food arrived, only one portion was served. When I politely pointed out that two were missing, the waitress became visibly annoyed and replied rudely that she would bring them. Then she returned with only one more portion. I calmly said again that it was still not the entire order, but she walked away without saying a word, again visibly annoyed. When she later returned with the bill, she suddenly switched to English, even though we had been speaking German the whole time. I continued to answer in German – I speak German well and feel confident in the language. After paying, I said "Thank you," whereupon she simply walked away wordlessly and angrily, without saying goodbye. I don't know what her problem was—but such unfriendly treatment of guests is completely uncalled for. Especially since I've always enjoyed visiting your restaurant, this experience has genuinely upset me. I sincerely hope you train your staff accordingly. Friendliness and respect aren't extras, but the foundation of good service.

Highly recommended. We've been here twice for breakfast. Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly.

We were there with a large group, and the waitresses were visibly annoyed with us, or just generally. The service was unfriendly, the clearing was unfriendly, and when we asked once where two drinks were (after the food was almost finished and the two drinks were still missing), we were met with an incredibly rude and aggressive response. This simply ruins the entire nice ambiance, etc., and makes you feel uncomfortable interacting with the waitresses.

Pleasant surroundings, friendly service. The bowls and salads were very good, and the homemade lemonade and iced tea were fresh and tasty. We'll try the burgers next time.

Unfortunately, the interior design doesn't reflect the dissatisfaction with the service. The music is very loud, even after we asked for it to be turned down a bit. The waitress is particularly unfriendly. They left after a quick drink instead of eating their planned breakfast. We hope that more emphasis will be placed on guest satisfaction in the future, as it is an essential part of a pleasant dining experience.

Strawberry iced tea and truffle fries are my favorites there, definitely give them a try!

We first discovered Charlie's through Neotaste. We've been going there regularly for a few months now. We've tried all the burgers, the truffle fries, the pesto pasta with chicken, and the breakfast bagels, and we've been blown away by the flavor every time. The price/performance ratio is completely justified, and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is simply perfect.

We've been there for dinner many times. The food and drinks have been perfect every time. The ambiance is perfectly balanced both inside and out. The atmosphere is always friendly. For a few months now, Charlie's has been our favorite location in Regensburg 🫶🏻

Although it says breakfast is available in front of the door until 14:00 PM, they said there was none when I asked. The service is very inexperienced, but the atmosphere and the food are great.

We ordered so many different things, and every single one was incredibly delicious! We haven't had such good food and drinks in a long time. The service was unobtrusive, fast, and everything arrived at the same time. Truly fantastic 😍😋 We'd go back anytime!

I would happily recommend the burgers. One star deduction for the spring rolls as a starter. I found 6.50 for two mini rolls to be way over the top. Otherwise, great atmosphere and extremely nice, young staff (as well as the guests).

We had breakfast at Charlie’s. The breakfast for 2 is really great. Great selection and also very pleasing to the eye. The only thing that can be improved is the sausage selection. The ham, salami and turkey breast are not of very high quality. The rest including the truffle spread was a dream! The service is also excellent.

The food is consistently delicious, I especially like the burgers! Breakfast is also a real treat. What really makes Charlie’s special is not just the great food, but also the outstanding service: always friendly, attentive and, above all, child-friendly – ​​which is very important to me personally. We have also been there several times for special occasions: we celebrated birthdays, a wedding and even our own civil wedding at Charlie's - everything went absolutely smoothly and perfectly. The organization, the ambience and the price-performance ratio have convinced us every time. I am completely thrilled and always enjoy coming back – a real favorite place!

Nice and calm atmosphere with seating inside and outside. The service could be more attentive, it made us wait far too long to take our order. The food, however, was very tasty. We had the veggie burger and the baked potato.

Charlie’s is simply my absolute favorite restaurant in Regensburg! I really come here often - and there are good reasons for that: the food is always delicious, the drinks are fantastic and the service is unbeatably warm. You feel welcome and in good hands from the first moment. I've been a mom since September, and I can absolutely recommend Charlie's even with a child. It is a place where you feel comfortable - whether alone, with friends or family. I rarely write Google reviews, but for such a great restaurant I just had to make an exception. Clear recommendation! ❤️

I have to admit, I somehow didn't even have the place on my radar. Was there once at the opening and spontaneously went for lunch today. We were amazed at how diverse the menu is. There was something for everyone here. From schnitzel to burgers, pasta and salad. The breakfast menu has also been well upgraded. The prices are reasonable. Very fast, nice service and the ambience invites you to linger. And what's more, it's a dog-friendly restaurant 🐾 water was offered for the dog immediately upon entry. Schnitzel was very tasty and a large portion. The potatoes weren't salted enough for my taste, but you can quickly remedy this yourself 😉 Salt was added immediately. The Kaiserschmarrn as a dessert is perfect for sharing and perfectly fluffy 👌 We'd love to come back and test our way through the menu further.

The selection of food, the quality and the ambience are great, BUT: the behavior of the (female) service staff is a no go! At the reception she took the menus without saying a word or a greeting, slammed them on our reserved table and simply continued on her way. When I asked where the cloakroom was, she wordlessly pointed in an undefined direction in the room. Order taking: listless, taciturn, lazy, there were several guests at the table and at least one was unerringly ignored when the lady deigned to ask us if we would like to order something else... we didn't want to, we didn't want a tip either, sorry, that's just not possible and thank you very much! Uninterested body language and facial expressions, annoyed answers - maybe the young lady should think about changing industries - something WITHOUT people. It was really impossible - I've never experienced anything like that and it ruined our evening. The shop was half empty, so the lady couldn't have been stressed. The male colleague who partly served at our table, on the other hand, was friendly, polite, attentive - normal for the service area. Would have given 5 stars without the service experience, but like that... There are other cool locations in Regensburg, Charlie's will probably no longer be our first to tenth choice.

Wir waren schon öfters dort, normalerweise immer zufrieden. Essen ist preislich in Ordnung, „normal“, schmeckt dafür leider nicht sonderlich. Die schlechteste Pasta die ich leider je gegessen habe. Trotzdem waren wir noch positiv gestimmt. Nach längerer Wartezeit der Nachbestellung der Drinks bekamen wir dazu eine Info, wir müssen doch in 10 min weg sein. Und dass, obwohl wir soeben erst die Getränke bekommen haben. Da das bei alkoholischen Getränken für uns unmöglich war und wir diese auch sicherlich nicht exen wollten, vor allem nicht wegen eines Fehlers des Personals, beeilten wir uns zwar, konnten diese 10 Minuten aber natürlich nicht mehr einhalten. Darauf hin haben wir böse Blicke einer gewissen blonden Bedienung bekommen, die anschließend sogar bei uns auf den Tisch gehauen hat - für eine Bedienung ein absolutes NO GO - wir waren abgrundtief sauer über diesen Restaurantbesuch !!!

Came here for birthday celebration but stuff were kinda mean to us. Like the food but the treatment was not that good.

There were nine of us in the restaurant with a reservation. We ordered drinks, food and desserts, but were told we only had 2 hours. It was very unpleasant because the staff kept doing a kind of countdown, e.g. B. someone came to us and said: “You still have 10 minutes.” A friend of ours just wanted to order fries, but she wasn't allowed to pay for them separately. They said you couldn't separate the fries from the hamburger menu, even though she only ordered fries. Overall it wasn't a good experience unfortunately. I cannot recommend the restaurant because of this behavior.

We always enjoyed going to Charly's a lot, but after today that's over... Whoever the boy with the cap and glasses is who treated us so disparagingly, in the Scholz era there was no such disrespectful thing, never again and not recommended either!

First the positive, we were allowed to go in late in the evening on the 23rd for dinner with our child. Ordering the food was difficult, we didn't get a menu. We looked on the internet and we should know straight away what we wanted. For my daughter (3.8 years old) I asked if she could get the linguini (it's pasta) with a tomato sauce or a non-spicy sauce. Employee had to call the kitchen. The tomato sauce works. Ok, I didn't think any further. Later only the tomato sauce came. I asked where the noodles were. She told me I only ordered tomato sauce. OK, then I wanted the noodles. Kitchen is closed. The employee walks away and leaves us sitting. When I paid, I mentioned it again to the other colleague. She said I should have said something. So I told the same story again. If it had been for me, not my daughter, I might have found it funny. Because I have been a hotel manager myself for over 20 years. That's just when I was mad!

The food was high quality and plentiful. I was particularly impressed by the lovingly prepared cake stands and the fresh ingredients. The ambience is very stylish and cozy, perfect for a relaxed brunch or a nice breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. Charlie's is really nice, we actually only went there because it was in the voucher book, but it still became one of my favorite cafés :)

We have been to Charlie's several times and have always been satisfied. But today we were really disappointed. Our breakfast would simply be forgotten. After we asked for more than an hour (three tables, some of whom arrived 30 minutes after us, had already received their food), we were told that the order had not been sent. The waitress “didn’t know why”. At first there was no apology and no drink was offered. They just said drinks cost €25. Still no excuse, no offer to ask quickly in the kitchen. Only after we made our displeasure clear did we receive a loveless apology. But what disappointed me most personally was that in the almost 70 minutes in the café, not once did anyone ask if you wanted to order anything else or if there was anything missing. This has nothing to do with service! Everyone can forget something, everyone makes mistakes, but that's just not how we should and can't handle a situation like this!

We were approached by the service staff because it was clear STANDARDS of the restaurant, a friend of the table could not continue to entertain. SERIOUSLY Before ordering the food, we changed locations.

We were more than satisfied. Food was tip top and everything was on point, the portions were also good, everything came very quickly and the service was very attentive.

Quite a nice restaurant with very nice staff, but too much of a bar atmosphere for breakfast or lunch. And while the dishes are certainly interesting, they are a bit too expensive overall for Regensburg.

Very friendly atmosphere, great breakfast selection and friendly service. However, the service was no longer very attentive after the food was served, so no further drinks could be ordered. You actually get a good service, but you also have to pay for it accordingly.

We ate there 3 days ago. The atmosphere was great, uplifting, and exciting. The staff were very polite, professional and kind. Our waitress Lea was friendly and amazing! The food was fresh and absolutely full of flavor. Every bit was like a party in your mouth. We had the best Ceasar Salad, Veggie Burger and Turkey Burger. Drinks were homemade and delicious Mango Tea and Strawberry Tea. We will definitely be visiting again and again. THANKS FOR A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!!!

Charlie's is a very cozy café bar restaurant and also very well located, as the pedestrian zone and the parking garage are nearby. The food is fantastic and the service is also very nice.

This is how gastronomy works! In times when you as a customer almost feel guilty about going out to eat, this café (actually also a restaurant and bar) stands out from its competitors. If you’re looking for a place to have coffee, this might not be the best choice, but their burgers are the best in Regensburg. The buns are homemade and fresh, and the noodle salads are also delicious and flavorful.

The food was good. But waiters are unfriendly and rude. We were waiting for the waiter 25 minutes and for the food 40 minutes more.

We were there for breakfast and found it good, but underwhelming. The latte costs 5 euros, so I expect a nice big cup. Unfortunately it was more like cappucchino size. Similar with scrambled eggs: a mini bowl with, according to the menu, 2 scrambled eggs in it - I can't help it, but those must have been quail eggs - the portion was tiny. It tasted quite good, although it was quite greasy. The baguette was ok, but just ok. We didn't find value for money convincing. What was totally positive: beautiful, very well shaded outdoor area and very nice service staff.

Unfortunately, the Aperol on Sunday is fake. Were there on Sunday to have something to eat. We saw on the menu: “Aperol €4.5 every Sunday” and we each ordered one. When we paid, we were told that the offer was only valid from a certain time and that you could also see it on Instagram. There is no asterisk on the map and there is no time to be found on Instagram either. Really unnecessary stuff like that.

We visited Charlie's Café Bar in Regensburg for breakfast for two and were overall very satisfied. The restaurant impresses with a very appealing and cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The ambience is tastefully designed and conveys a pleasant feeling of well-being. The staff were mostly attentive during our visit and tried very hard to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We received friendly service and felt well looked after. There is enough space in the café, which is particularly advantageous for breakfast. At first we even had some of the place to ourselves, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. We chose the Charlie's classic breakfast and the Charlie's vegetarian breakfast. Both breakfast options were very well prepared and attractively presented. The portions were adequate and filling. The price-performance ratio is definitely right in this café. The prices are fair and reasonable for the quality and portions offered. We can definitely recommend Charlie's Café Bar and will definitely come back. The successful overall package of an appealing atmosphere, good service and delicious food makes this café a recommended address for a relaxed breakfast in Regensburg.

Unfortunately the last visit (yesterday) was very disappointing. We reserved a table at 8 p.m. and when we got there we were told that the table had just ordered dessert and distorted it. We had to stay in the cold until 8-30pm!! Wait until we were brought to our table. This shouldn't be the case, we've never experienced anything like this before. Unfortunately there was no attempt to offer us at least a drink or schnapps on the house or let alone an apology. There were 8 of us and we left a lot of money behind, so I think that would have been the minimum. The food was good (apart from the fries which were cold) but unfortunately we were all very disappointed with the service! It also took a very long time until we received some of our drinks and had to be reminded again that drinks were still outstanding.

€11 for boiled potatoes in uniforms with a questionable sauce, it's expensive, it's not worth it. Dishes on vinlyad 6arnf, and the taste is very ordinary. The only thing that pleased me was a large portion of salad.
