A perfect place to relax, one of the best places in Regensburg

Came for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. Was popular and busy however, the staff were friendly, attentive and no major wait for food. Wood recommend one of the bagel dishes

We always enjoyed going to Charly's a lot, but after today that's over... Whoever the boy with the cap and glasses is who treated us so disparagingly, in the Scholz era there was no such disrespectful thing, never again and not recommended either!

First the positive, we were allowed to go in late in the evening on the 23rd for dinner with our child. Ordering the food was difficult, we didn't get a menu. We looked on the internet and we should know straight away what we wanted. For my daughter (3.8 years old) I asked if she could get the linguini (it's pasta) with a tomato sauce or a non-spicy sauce. Employee had to call the kitchen. The tomato sauce works. Ok, I didn't think any further. Later only the tomato sauce came. I asked where the noodles were. She told me I only ordered tomato sauce. OK, then I wanted the noodles. Kitchen is closed. The employee walks away and leaves us sitting. When I paid, I mentioned it again to the other colleague. She said I should have said something. So I told the same story again. If it had been for me, not my daughter, I might have found it funny. Because I have been a hotel manager myself for over 20 years. That's just when I was mad!

Everything was great, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food was amazing 😋 10 out of 10… absolutely recommended!

The food was high quality and plentiful. I was particularly impressed by the lovingly prepared cake stands and the fresh ingredients. The ambience is very stylish and cozy, perfect for a relaxed brunch or a nice breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. I felt completely at home and can highly recommend Charlie’s!

Unfortunately, the waitress (young lady, long black hair) didn't make us feel welcome at all. Unfortunately the food is definitely not worth the €25. You pay for location and ambience.

Charlie's is really nice, we actually only went there because it was in the voucher book, but it still became one of my favorite cafés :)

We have been to Charlie's several times and have always been satisfied. But today we were really disappointed. Our breakfast would simply be forgotten. After we asked for more than an hour (three tables, some of whom arrived 30 minutes after us, had already received their food), we were told that the order had not been sent. The waitress “didn’t know why”. At first there was no apology and no drink was offered. They just said drinks cost €25. Still no excuse, no offer to ask quickly in the kitchen. Only after we made our displeasure clear did we receive a loveless apology. But what disappointed me most personally was that in the almost 70 minutes in the café, not once did anyone ask if you wanted to order anything else or if there was anything missing. This has nothing to do with service! Everyone can forget something, everyone makes mistakes, but that's just not how we should and can't handle a situation like this!

We were more than satisfied. Food was tip top and everything was on point, the portions were also good, everything came very quickly and the service was very attentive.

We were approached by the service staff because it was clear STANDARDS of the restaurant, a friend of the table could not continue to entertain. SERIOUSLY Before ordering the food, we changed locations.

Quite a nice restaurant with very nice staff, but too much of a bar atmosphere for breakfast or lunch. And while the dishes are certainly interesting, they are a bit too expensive overall for Regensburg.

Particularly noteworthy is the waitress Laura: super friendly and attentive, she really gave us a great evening. Thank you again! We will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant!

Lovely place! impeccable and with the most attentive staff! We enjoyed two matcha lattes and a scrumptious cranberry tart with mascarpone.

Very friendly atmosphere, great breakfast selection and friendly service. However, the service was no longer very attentive after the food was served, so no further drinks could be ordered. You actually get a good service, but you also have to pay for it accordingly.

We ate there 3 days ago. The atmosphere was great, uplifting, and exciting. The staff were very polite, professional and kind. Our waitress Lea was friendly and amazing! The food was fresh and absolutely full of flavor. Every bit was like a party in your mouth. We had the best Ceasar Salad, Veggie Burger and Turkey Burger. Drinks were homemade and delicious Mango Tea and Strawberry Tea. We will definitely be visiting again and again. THANKS FOR A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!!!

Charlie's is a very cozy café bar restaurant and also very well located, as the pedestrian zone and the parking garage are nearby. The food is fantastic and the service is also very nice.

There used to be more benches and I found them more comfortable.

We went to Charlies for breakfast and can only recommend it. There is a large selection of both drinks and food. Whether sweet, savory or both - everyone will find something here.

We went there for coffee and it was great. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Coffee is served in a small French press and tastes great. The homemade iced tea is awesome.

This is how gastronomy works! In times when you as a customer almost feel guilty about going out to eat, this café (actually also a restaurant and bar) stands out from its competitors. What particularly stands out is the very friendly and professional team. The food is always prepared with love, very fresh, quick and tasty. Just keep the small details in detail that stand out. Absolutely recommended and I hope you always remain loyal to the quality and staff. Then this café will become a large and very well-known Regensburg institution. Were sat at a table for breakfast and consistently ignored for 15 minutes. Other guests who had already arrived after us already had their first coffee on the table when we left without a word. We didn't even have the opportunity to order. The ambience was still quite pleasant, but without service it's no use.

If you’re looking for a place to have coffee, this might not be the best choice, but their burgers are the best in Regensburg. The buns are homemade and fresh, and the noodle salads are also delicious and flavorful.

The food was good. But waiters are unfriendly and rude. We were waiting for the waiter 25 minutes and for the food 40 minutes more.

We were there for breakfast and found it good, but underwhelming. The latte costs 5 euros, so I expect a nice big cup. Unfortunately it was more like cappucchino size. Similar with scrambled eggs: a mini bowl with, according to the menu, 2 scrambled eggs in it - I can't help it, but those must have been quail eggs - the portion was tiny. It tasted quite good, although it was quite greasy. The baguette was ok, but just ok. We didn't find value for money convincing. What was totally positive: beautiful, very well shaded outdoor area and very nice service staff.

Nice to sit outside. We had the salad with the spritz for free - lady's day. Great idea. Our waitress was very attentive and took good care of us. The Kaiserschmarrn was very, very tasty. Super caramelized.

Unfortunately, the Aperol on Sunday is fake. Were there on Sunday to have something to eat. We saw on the menu: “Aperol €4.5 every Sunday” and we each ordered one. When we paid, we were told that the offer was only valid from a certain time and that you could also see it on Instagram. There is no asterisk on the map and there is no time to be found on Instagram either. Really unnecessary stuff like that.

We visited Charlie's Café Bar in Regensburg for breakfast for two and were overall very satisfied. The restaurant impresses with a very appealing and cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The ambience is tastefully designed and conveys a pleasant feeling of well-being. The staff were mostly attentive during our visit and tried very hard to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We received friendly service and felt well looked after. There is enough space in the café, which is particularly advantageous for breakfast. At first we even had some of the place to ourselves, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. We chose the Charlie's classic breakfast and the Charlie's vegetarian breakfast. Both breakfast options were very well prepared and attractively presented. The portions were adequate and filling. The price-performance ratio is definitely right in this café. The prices are fair and reasonable for the quality and portions offered. We can definitely recommend Charlie's Café Bar and will definitely come back. The successful overall package of an appealing atmosphere, good service and delicious food makes this café a recommended address for a relaxed breakfast in Regensburg.

Located directly next to the parking garage at Dachauplatz. The food is really good and so is the service. However, there weren't many other guests present either.

A fresh retro bar with a 70's look. Nice and smooth service. Flexible in what you want to order. When the weather is nice, the slide makes the inside and outside one whole.

Unfortunately the last visit (yesterday) was very disappointing. We reserved a table at 8 p.m. and when we got there we were told that the table had just ordered dessert and distorted it. We had to stay in the cold until 8-30pm!! Wait until we were brought to our table. This shouldn't be the case, we've never experienced anything like this before. Unfortunately there was no attempt to offer us at least a drink or schnapps on the house or let alone an apology. There were 8 of us and we left a lot of money behind, so I think that would have been the minimum. The food was good (apart from the fries which were cold) but unfortunately we were all very disappointed with the service! It also took a very long time until we received some of our drinks and had to be reminded again that drinks were still outstanding.

€11 for boiled potatoes in uniforms with a questionable sauce, it's expensive, it's not worth it. Dishes on vinlyad 6arnf, and the taste is very ordinary. The only thing that pleased me was a large portion of salad.

Were there for breakfast. Food was very tasty and well prepared. However, there was an outrageous lack of bread, which would not have been enough even for people who spread a mountain on their bread. Our breakfast for 2 people included 4 slices of baguette and 1 croissant. Who should that be enough for?! When we asked if that was all, we were treated unfriendly and ended up having to pay €2.50 for another 4 SLICES of bread. Sorry, but that's really outrageous and overpriced, which was a shame because the breakfast itself and the location were really great.

I was there for the first time today and felt comfortable. The latte was delicious, as was the glass noodle salad. The menu is very attractively designed and the selection is good.

We were visiting Regensburg for a day today and more or less stumbled across Charlie’s. Since it looked very appealing, we spontaneously decided to visit. First of all, 5🌟 for the ambience. Super modern, stylish and yet very comfortable. Great dishes, beautiful glasses, everything super hygienically clean, especially the toilets! Also 5🌟 for the extremely friendly, courteous and helpful service. It couldn't be better! And an absolute 10🌟 for an OUTSTANDING KAISERSCHMARRN!!! My companion and I have never eaten such a delicious KAISERSCHMARRN in our lives. 🤤 Buttery taste, slightly caramelized, not too sweet and a wonderfully delicious apple compote to balance it out. The nut nougat cream served with it also harmonized perfectly. Admittedly not cheap at €12.50 but worth every single cent!! A really successful stay. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back!!! Food is amazing!!! I enjoyed medium rare rib eye steak with veggies. Honestly one of the best that I have tried so far. 10/10!

I really like Charlie's itself, they have a great selection of drinks and food and the decor is great too. However, I was disappointed when I visited yesterday. Unfortunately, the price and performance really didn't match. There was very little in the bowls we ordered and that for the price. We didn't get any plates with our spread and, apart from the truffle spread, they weren't anything special. A pity.

Gehobenes Lokal. Frühstück gut und ausreichend Auswahl an Getränken, Cocktails und Essen vielfältig aber nicht zu viel. Ausgewählt freundliche Bedienung, zügig, umsichtig und mit offenem Ohr. Stilvolles und gleichzeitig unaufdringliches Ambiente. Nicht günstig, doch lohnend für ein gelungenes Date oder schönen Abend.

Wunderschön. Egal ob nur zum was trinken, zu Abend essen oder einfach nur für einen kurzen plausch und Café. Die Burger sind sehr zu empfehlen. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Atmosphäre ist durch die Größe des Restaurants und den grünen Pflanzen angenehm und entspannt. Sehr zu empfehlen :)

Erstbesuch nach Pächterwechsel mit kleiner Gruppe am Abend. Vorspeisen und Cocktails und Getränke. Essen allseits für sehr gut befunden.. Lokal nett eingerichtet. Service nett passend. Lokal zu 2/3 besucht. Es wird in jedem Fall ein weiterer Besuch folgen.

Ich bin sehr oft in Charlies und immer mehr als zufrieden. Gutes essen, gute Cocktails und super Atmosphäre. Egal was man sich bestellt, es schmeckt immer super.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal auf Empfehlung im Charlie's, und wir müssen sagen dass wir in keinster Weise enttäuscht wurden. Das Essen sehr hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Tellersprache ein absoluter Hingucker! Service ist super. Man merkt einfach hier packen die Chefs noch selbst mit an! Das Ambiente lädt zum wohlfühlen ein! Wir sind von nun an Stammgäste!
