We were here briefly during Midsummer and discovered this wonderful Memmingen restaurant for the first time. We had a delicious cocktail and would like to come back for dinner sometime.

My friends and I enjoy stunning views, delicious dishes and cocktails, just what you need to relax after a hard week of work! The music is very nice! This establishment is a big competitor to other establishments in the city!

We were at Chaplin in Memmingen and had a really nice evening. The food was delicious, especially the burgers and the meat was on point. The portions are decent and the quality is good. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is also pleasant – modern, but still cozy. Price wise it's fair for what you get. If you want to eat well and feel good in Memmingen, you've come to the right place. We'd love to come back.

Staff unfriendly. You order 1/4 wine and only get 0.2l. When we complained, the immediate excuse was that we had the wrong (old) card, but we didn't get a "new" card. The receipt also said 0.25l. So here you get screwed by 50ml for a glass of wine. You order a wheat and clearly get a beer. The waitress is 100% sure it's wheat, but this person has no idea... Food was good, but fries were ice cold.

Went there spontaneously on a Saturday evening. There was no space inside but there was still space outside in the igloo, which is of course heated. The service was great and really quick and there was also time for a short chat. The cocktails were really tasty.

Was there with a friend. We wanted to chat, eat nachos and drink cocktails. But we had to shout at each other to understand each other because loud music was playing with bass that made the tables rattle. This was already the case when we arrived at 7 p.m.! And the music was incredibly loud until 11 p.m. Even after the request to please turn down the music, this request was not followed through on. On the contrary, the music was turned up even louder. From a restaurant with a bar that advertises a lounge, I expect quiet background music and not music that is so loud that your ears hurt after a very short time... The nachos and drinks were ok. The rooms are also chicly furnished. Nobody told us that our table was only reserved until 9 p.m. I reserved the table by phone. If someone had told us that we could only stay until 9 p.m., we would have left too...

Enjoy a cocktail above the roofs of Memmingen. When the weather is nice you can even enjoy a view of the Alps.

There's really delicious food here and has been for years. The ambience and service is excellent, but who chose the chairs, I have to ask?! I'm 90 kilos and I just don't fit in. I then had to tell the waitress that the table assigned to us wasn't suitable because my box could only dream of being seated there. Then we switched to a bench, but it's a bit uncomfortable when your butt doesn't fit in the chair and you have to tell us that at 90 kilos you're too fat for a chair... Keep your eyes open when you buy a chair. ;)

I usually like going here, nice location etc. We reserved a table today, we wanted to sit outside and the waitress said it would be possible and another person would come and serve us. After 15 min no person came, I went in and asked, their statement was: We don't serve people outside, you have to order in here and take it outside. Then I asked for a table inside (I actually had a reservation for inside.) Unfortunately I didn't get one because everything was full.

Nice ambience with great views of the city. The Chaplin is on the 4th floor and also offers burgers and pasta dishes at lunchtime. Also ideal for social gatherings!

Super location mit toller Aussicht und alles sauber 👍🏻 Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung und gutes Essen! Kinderfreundlich! Waren am Wochenende schon oft zum Mittagessen hier und immer zufrieden. Ist ganz praktisch dass man im UG in der Tiefgarage parken kann und mit dem Aufzug direkt im Restaurant ankommt.
