One of the best Thai restaurants I know in Germany. If I can arrange it, I still like to go there, even though I moved away from Fulda for 8 years.

Not at the moment, as you can't reserve a place even a week in advance and if so only at 5 and 8 p.m. It is no longer possible to eat there at short notice. Eating out should be fun and not a logistical challenge. It's sad where the restaurant industry has gone. Despite the high prices, we keep trying in vain. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to judge the food as we haven't been able to get a table for a long time.

Spontaneously ended up at Chaang Noi, even though everything was full - and it was absolutely worth it! The service was incredibly friendly, courteous and authentic, something you rarely experience. As a starter I had the Tom Kha Gai soup - excellent, really a taste experience! After that, I relied on the waiter's recommendation and tried a spicy chicken dish. Sensational! Every bite was a delight. An absolute must for lovers of Thai cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

We are on a short vacation in Fulda and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, even if you book 5 days in advance, you can't get a table. The staff is probably overwhelmed by inquiries and therefore seems very strict and somewhat annoyed when answering telephone and personal inquiries. It's a shame that the restaurant is so busy that you can't eat there, because it's very tasty. On the other hand, I am pleased that this part of the catering industry is so well received.

Very nice little restaurant in a vaulted cellar. The prices are okay, but the portions could be a little smaller, but a little cheaper. Very good service staff

Really delicious food, in a great atmosphere with nice waiters and good service. The great thing - no reception downstairs in the restaurant and you relax a little more.

We made a reservation for two people with a dog and were assigned a perfect table where our dog also had space to lie down. Very nice atmosphere. The service was quick, extremely attentive and very friendly. The waiting times were very short. The food was very tasty. The very spicy dish (#51) is actually spicy. Anyone who likes spicy food will be happy with this. The Laab was extremely good! If we're ever in the area again, we'll be happy to come here again! Highly recommended

Restaurant with authentic Thai flavors, just like eating in Thailand. You have to come here. I'm very impressed because it's hard to find Thai food with a real Thai taste in Germany 😂 The service staff is very good. If you don't finish eating, you can wrap it up and take it home. There's more than enough 💚❤️

*Top atmosphere* *Services very friendly* But I thought the food was pretty good for the price. Unfortunately, as a Thai food connoisseur, it wasn't a burner in terms of taste. The Tom kha kai soup was very coconut-heavy and something was still missing. There was hardly anything in the spring rolls and they were tasteless. There is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of the presentation and ambience of the food. We are used to something different in Frankfurt and as Thai travel experts.

Unfortunately, it didn't taste particularly good without the flavor enhancer. Not bad but not tasty either. Too bad...

We were there quite early in the evening and got a seat outside the restaurant, which made us very happy. However, in our opinion, you should reserve in advance. The service was very courteous and friendly. For (almost) every dish you can choose between meat/vegetarian or vegan. The food was delicious and to our complete satisfaction. Definitely recommended!

Great service and very tasty food

Chaang noi is by far the best Thai restaurant I have been to in Germany. The food is incredibly aromatic and fresh. There are many vegan options and ways to order dishes vegan. The employees are friendly and the prices are reasonable. It's so nice to sit outside in summer. But the restaurant inside is also very cozy and relaxed.

The outstanding highlight of our visit to Fulda was the stop for lunch at the Thai restaurant Chaang Noi. Nice atmosphere, very attentive service and fantastic food. The best and most authentic Thai food we have ever eaten. Everything was freshly cooked and extremely tasty. We had #19 Phad Thai and #30 Gaeng Daeng. 🥰🥰🥰 A reservation is highly recommended.

Das Chang Noi ist schon seit ca. 10 Jahren unser absolutes Lieblingslokal. Wir lieben das authentische Essen, die gemütliche Atmosphäre und das sehr nette Personal. Die Preise sind komplett gerechtfertigt, da alles super frisch ist und eine gute Qualität hat. Wir empfehlen es immer wieder weiter an Freunde und Kollegen und es waren alle mehr als zufrieden. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle bald wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon, es ist immer wieder ein Highlight.

Discovered this place by chance. Reserved a day in advance and with a lot of luck got a great table. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The portions are huge. Neither of us finished the plate. The food is super delicious. To be sure to get a table, you should reserve here 2-3 weeks in advance. Highly recommended, we will come back when we are in Fulda.

The best restaurant Fulda has to offer. We've been there dozens of times now and are always thrilled. If you haven't been there yet, a clear recommendation! But remember to reserve :)

We were here spontaneously in the evening with three small children. We didn't have a reservation and were able to get the last available table! What luck. The waitresses were all very courteous and nice. Each of us tried one of the in-house iced tea varieties and we agreed that everyone had the tastiest one 😁. The decision to eat was a bit difficult because everything on the menu and the neighboring tables looked very tasty. So first there was the starter variation, and not only the kids were enthusiastic about it. The sauces were delicious. The papaya salad somehow didn't have much of a papaya in it. But it was also super tasty. Overall the spiciness was ok. My wife said it was too spicy for me. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert. We'll do that next time. And then we will make reservations just to be on the safe side.

Very authentic, not just the food, but also the decor. Had a very good Pad Thai, with a cold Singha, 10 degrees warmer and it would have been in Bangkok.

We had reserved a table in advance and were greeted very friendly. The service was very pleasant, friendly and authentic throughout our entire stay. There were 5 of us and we each ordered something different (also with changes) and we were all very enthusiastic. The portions were large and we took the leftovers with us. It was still very tasty when reheated the day after! If we are in the area again we will definitely come back. We would be happy to recommend you!

If I could give more stars I would do so immediately. Yesterday at lunchtime we were lucky and were able to reserve a table at short notice. As always, it was delicious and freshly cooked! The food at Chaang Noi is simply fantastic, always and without restrictions. The service is great and always really nice and super friendly. We like the restaurant because it simply has a nice atmosphere and you feel very comfortable there and are in good hands. Unfortunately the food was so delicious that we couldn't take a photo :)

Great little restaurant, with authentic cuisine, friendly, very quick service, and a nice ambience. Really good Thai food, upscale price range, but worth every cent. Unfortunately mostly fully booked. You have to be lucky because you can't reserve online, only by phone and you also have to be lucky to get through... We had the 29, with squid and prawns, the 20, with duck. And for dessert, banana rice with coconut.

Best Asian restaurant in Fulda. I ordered number 10 soup and noodles. It is very hard to describe but the taste is very appealing. The decoration is very unique. The food is beautifully presented. Need come back several time to try all of the menu.

We ate here today before the musical "The Pope". Luckily we had reserved a table and the restaurant was very busy. But this is more than understandable, because the food is really, really good and plentiful, and the service is very good and attentive. The ambience is very nice. We would be happy to come back when we are in Fulda again.

Today the two of us spontaneously had lunch at Chang Noi. The service and friendliness of the staff were top. The food including starters were excellent. The portions were very good and the spiciness was just right. You can also select when ordering. The only time we ever had such good Thai food was in Bangkok, at a very expensive cooking school. We will come back in any case!

At Chaang Noi you will find friendly and courteous staff. The ambience is perfect in my opinion. Attention to detail. The food is fresh and prepared to a high standard. The entire stay was wonderful.

Really recommended! The service is great: super friendly and helpful, they also help with the menu (if you are unsure). The food = DELICIOUS The seating in the pedestrian zone is great - people watching - and the restaurant in the vaulted cellar is also a great place to linger. A clear recommendation, we would be happy to come back.

Die Location ist in einem kleinem Gewölbekeller. Das Restaurant ist recht gut besucht, man sollte besser reservieren. Wenn man dann einen Platz hat, dann lohnt es sich auch. Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Der Geschmack war recht authentisch und sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl.

What a great restaurant! Really great, attentive service that served the food surprisingly quickly (despite the full house). Tastes great! We are already looking forward to the next time we are back in Fulda.

Auf Empfehlung unserer Freunde - Kenner der asiatischen Küche - waren wir zum gemeinsamen Abendessen in diesem urigen Lokal. Es liegt in der Fußgängerzone im Zentrum Fuldas, in einem Gewölbekeller. Der Service war sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Das Essen war schlicht fantastisch, sehr frisch und sehr lecker. Die Wartezeit von ca. 1 Stunde hatte sich gelohnt! Kein Lokal für den schnellen Snack, sondern etwas für jene, die Qualität und Frische zu schätzen wissen.

As always, excellent, very authentic and aromatic! We were in Asia and can therefore easily compare, Fulda is definitely the best address for authentic Thai food! The service is super friendly, always present but not intrusive. Absolutely justified in terms of price for the quality offered! Be sure to reserve early, as you usually won't be able to get a spot spontaneously! We always reserve three weeks in advance.

We've been coming back here for several years and haven't once regretted it - our absolute favorite restaurant in Fulda! There was no food that wasn't tasty. Absolutely fantastic. In addition, the service is very friendly (regardless of who the employee is) and the atmosphere in the cellar is really great. For anyone interested - book in good time - you rarely get a table at short notice or spontaneously.

We were in Fulda on April 20, 2024 and had already been looking for a special restaurant in advance. In the evening at 6:30 p.m. I went there and ordered. I could pick it up at 7:15 p.m. I was there at 7:10 p.m. and everything had just come from the kitchen. The food stayed hot in environmentally friendly waterproof cardboard packaging so that dinner could begin in our hotel. Rice dish: rice specially packed. Vegetables crunchy, well seasoned, and also very hot, despite the 6 minute journey. The portion size was really generous! Not everyone can do that. If the opportunity arises, we will order something here again. Unfortunately, it is often no longer possible to book a place because the restaurant is so popular. But it's always possible to take it with you, so come in and try it for yourself. If you're coming here for the first time, you should take a close look. The only thing you see straight away is an advertising sign with the imprint Weinkontor. But you're right there. There a staircase goes down into the cellar vault.

Authentic cuisine & friendly service. Their Thai iced teas are delicious.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has a time limit on how long you can stay. After just an hour and a half we were cashed in and escorted out. Unfortunately there was no time for dessert, a second drink or a longer conversation. After these hour and a half, the tables are cleared, re-set and the next guests are already waiting. We definitely won't go there again! That's a shame because the food is very good. Also, be sure to make a reservation if you don't want to enjoy the food but rather devour it.

Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant am Sonntag Abend war das Chaang Noi eine Zufallsentdeckung. Das freundliche Personal bemühte sich sehr, in dem gut besuchten Lokal für uns noch eine Platz zu finden. Die Speisekarte war umfangreich und für Jeden etwas dabei. Die Speisen waren liebevoll angerichtet und sehr lecker.

Wir haben mit 12 Personen Geburtstag privat gefeiert und aus dem Chaang Noi Essen bestellt als Buffet.. Es war einfach spitze.. 4 verschiedene Gerichte.. Von allem etwas.. Huhn, Fisch, Rindfleisch und Curry, Nudeln u Reis und als Vorspeise Frühlingsrollen usw und verschiedene Dips. Alles top frisch geliefert, heiss und schön aufgebaut und für die Gäste super erklärt, welche Speisen es sind . Dank von den Gastgebern und den Gästen. Wir sehen uns bestimmt bald wieder zu der nächsten Feier. Macht weiter so.. Ihr seid die besten..
