I love eating here. It's worth coming to Fulda just for this. Important: Always reserve in advance, as it's usually fully booked. A flavor explosion for everyone who's not a fan of your average Thai restaurant. However, I should mention that the prices have gone up a bit. But for this quality, everyone should gladly pay a little more 😍 Thank you for being there!

We were a group of six at Chaang Noi last night and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent! Reservations are absolutely necessary. We will definitely be back.

I've rarely eaten so well. The wait is worth it, and the portions are generous. Unfortunately, the two-hour time slot for the appetizer, main course, and dessert is extremely tight. More than six people are not possible, and I strongly recommend making a reservation. The restaurant is always full, and rightly so. Info: The nearest parking is in the Sparkasse parking garage, a two-minute walk away.

I've rarely had such good Thai food. You definitely need to make a reservation in advance, though. Pick-up isn't always possible either, as it's often too busy.

My experience started from a very pushy and unreliable male waiter, continued with waiting for a very long time for a very simple dish that was not only badly cooked but also salty to the point of being inedible, and ended with paying a very high price. I honestly don't know where this high rating came from. I think the salt is part of their scheme to sell overpriced water. What they write on the menu is also lower than what they actually charge, because they don't include tax on it. When I asked they were very sarcastic about it, explaining to me what tax is. Honestly, trust me and don't go. It is not nice to experience all the unhappiness and anger in such a place on your holiday.

Extensive menu. Excellent food. Very friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Reasonable prices. We were there with seven people, and everyone was very satisfied.

I haven't been here in a long time. The food was as expected, still super delicious and authentic. 👍🏻 Everything was freshly prepared, and the portions were generous. The spiciness is rather mild if you don't say anything. But there are always spices and pickled chilies 🌶️ to add if you want to spice things up. I love the summer rolls; I had Phad Phrik Gaeng with a fried egg as my main course, which was very tasty, and then baked ones 🍍 to finish. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was very attentive and friendly. Keep up the good work, I'll definitely be back.😅

A truly wonderful restaurant. Small, pleasant, with very friendly service and delicious, authentic Thai food. Now a guest in Fulda, I discovered Chaang Noi through the "Thai Select" label and luckily reserved a table in advance. Every bite was truly a delight. A definite recommendation!

Simply WOW! I went there with my wife for dinner for our anniversary, and we had a flashback to our trip to Thailand. We were greeted by a young and very dedicated waitress who was truly friendly and attentive. It was fun to enjoy the ambiance and, above all, the food. A Thai dream. The best green curry I've eaten in the four years since traveling to Thailand. The wok dish was also interesting and delicious. The service is extremely attentive and takes the time to answer questions, suggestions, etc. The prices are completely justified given the quality and generous portions. Absolutely recommend it!

We felt it lacked a variety of flavors and tasted a bit bland, even though it was beautifully presented. The duck was a bit dry. The value for money wasn't quite right for us.

For years one of the best, perhaps the best, Thai restaurant we know.

Great atmosphere, top-notch taste. But extremely long wait times.

The restaurant offers outdoor seating facing the pedestrian zone and a beautifully furnished main dining room in the rustic cellar, typical of the area. The rooms (including the restrooms) were extremely clean, and the main room was traditionally decorated. With the wide selection of traditional dishes, it's hard to choose, as the dishes and drinks we tried all tasted good. The prices are very fair. The only negative is that you can't tip when paying with a card. But with this level of service, tipping is definitely a must! The staff is very polite, friendly, accommodating, and shows plenty of initiative. I highly recommend this restaurant for what feels like a short vacation.

We came here for the first time last year because of the good Google review. This year we came back because we knew it would be perfect. It was even better than last time. We're from the Ruhr area and know a lot of Thai restaurants. None can compete with this one. (If anyone reads this and would like to recommend one, please PM me.) The service is friendly and quick, the food authentic, and the portions a good size. The kitchen and service staff enjoy serving their guests. We'll be back, with or without a musical. 100% recommendation.

We are absolutely thrilled with the delicious, authentic Thai food. Finally, we've had as good food as we did in Thailand. We'd love to eat here more often, but we're only visiting Fulda. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We'll be happy to come back.

The best Thai food you can get in Fulda and the surrounding area. It's hard to beat the taste. The portions are very generous, and if you order it "Thai spicy," the Thais can really take it to the next level. Highly recommended if you want delicious Thai food. It wasn't our first time there, and it won't be our last.

As others have mentioned, I agree that it’s a very unpleasant experience if you dare to ask them if they have a table without a reservation. I kindly asked if it’s better to reserve (next time) and got a ‘you SHOULD HAVE reserved’. It doesn’t make you want to come back with a reservation. I understand if there is no tables, but if you send me away, you can do it respectfully.

A little corner of Thailand in Germany! Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Chang Noi: a journey of flavors that caressed the soul and surprised the palate. The shrimp soup was truly enchanting: a perfect balance of delicate spices and vibrant freshness that, like a caress, transported you elsewhere. A small masterpiece where flavor and elegance meet. The phat thai with shrimp, generous and succulent, was an expression of authentic taste: each forkful told a story of tradition, care, and culinary passion. The young and dynamic service was on par with the cuisine: fast, efficient, and always accompanied by genuine smiles, adding warmth and helpfulness to the experience. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Chang Noi team for such a special evening: I felt welcomed, pampered, and delighted. If I were to pass through these parts again, I would return without hesitation.

It's very difficult to get a table without a reservation. But when we saw and ate the food, it immediately became clear why. It was simply fantastic. We both had a wok of vegetables with the duck, and the quality was truly outstanding. We'd love to come back next time we're in Fulda!

We had excellent food and drinks. The lemonades were especially great, but the food was also incredibly fresh and delicious. You should definitely make a reservation, otherwise, there won't be any seats available until after 8 p.m.

Wow, wow, wow. A dream. Perhaps the best Thai food in Germany? Perhaps my favorite restaurant ever?! The quality is consistently so high, the taste so sophisticated – that no matter what's on the menu, everything seems exciting and makes you want to try it. The quantity and quality of the fresh herbs (mint, coriander, Thai basil, lime leaves) are particularly unsurpassed. A regular Thai snack bar has absolutely nothing to do with this in terms of taste; it's a culinary journey to another part of the world. Keep it up, dear team, please keep it up :))

I don't understand the reviews! Customers are treated very unfriendly. We were literally kicked out because they supposedly had no tables available, even though there were hardly any occupied tables! Not recommended!

At 2:10 p.m., we wanted to go out for something to eat, but the guy at the door turned us away, saying they were closing in 50 minutes. Even when we pointed out that we just wanted to eat quickly and leave, we were asked to leave. Top service 👍

We came twice, because, like the first time, we unfortunately couldn't get a seat without a reservation. It was absolutely worth it. It may seem unassuming from the outside, but inside it has a truly appealing, typically Thai ambiance and is pleasantly air-conditioned. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely first-class. A true taste experience in the best sense, the likes of which I have rarely experienced. You should definitely try it once, or preferably more often.

I don't know where you could eat better. I absolutely recommend it. I would give it 10 stars if I could. We've been there three times now, and each time it was absolutely perfect, from the service to the food. Our favorite restaurant. We haven't even had better food in Thailand itself.

The food here is truly delicious. The dishes offer an interesting and innovative selection that allows you to get to know Thai cuisine. If you're looking for something special, we recommend the dessert, which is actually called "baked ice cream," in addition to the main courses.

We had a lovely evening at Chaang Noi. The service was very attentive, and we were served quickly. The ambiance is very nice and invites you to linger. Now for the food: I had the Papaya Salad Lao and the Laab with duck. The salad was delicious and very spicy. Eating it is definitely an experience. The Laab was also very tasty, and the portions are really generous. We were also very impressed with the drinks, and we highly recommend the homemade iced tea. Simply WOW! We were in Fulda today and luckily got a table spontaneously, but I recommend everyone to make a reservation! The service was super friendly, and you could tell they enjoyed their job. The ambiance is very nice and cozy. The food was truly incredible, and the portions were quite large. We had the fried glass noodles and a Thai curry, and both were super delicious. I had one or two special requests, and they were fulfilled. We're actually from Schweinfurt, but we've said that from now on, we'll drive to Fulda every few months to eat. Can't wait to eat with you again 🫶🏻

This restaurant is somewhat hidden in the basement and has only a few tables outside. I enjoyed the food incredibly much, and the dishes at the side tables also looked excellent. Highly recommended!

ChangNoi has been known for years, and the restaurant's reputation precedes its name. Last Sunday, I got a table at short notice and went there with my wife for dinner. The restaurant is beautifully situated in an old cellar vault in Fulda's old town. The ambiance is absolutely lovely and very cozy. The chairs and benches are also very comfortable, which I personally find very important. The service from the guys and girls is absolutely fantastic. No matter who came to our table, and it was a variety of people, they were all on top of their game, incredibly fast, and super friendly. You simply can't do better. Here, too, you can see that they've thought about how much staff is needed. No one has to wait that long, and even if a glass is empty, someone else immediately lets us know and brings a new glass. Now for the most important thing: the food! We had two different starters, a soup, and a Thai curry. Everything was exceptionally fresh, delicious, and extremely flavorful. I highly recommend everyone to eat here, even if you might have to wait a bit longer for a table. In that case, simply make a reservation in advance. Despite an explicit request to prepare a dish without certain ingredients, it was expressly refused, which led to an undesirable result. The price is way too expensive in comparison! The first time I was there, I really felt so comfortable. The staff were incredibly courteous and very friendly. I especially want to mention the very young man who always had a smile on his face, and the food was really good. Today, on my last day in Fulda, I wanted to get something to enjoy in the hotel. I was very thirsty and asked if I could order a drink. I was refused in a really rude manner. If you don't have a table, you're not allowed to have anything to drink... Sorry, but what kind of nonsense is that? Of course, I wanted to pay and drink while I waited. I was really thirsty. I left without eating and certainly won't be coming back, despite the good first impression. I don't understand it, and I understand the tone used even less. What a shame! Addendum: Thank you for your reply. I was offered a seat on the bench in the entrance area to wait for my takeaway order. I understand that if the restaurant is very busy, I shouldn't stand in the way with my drink. I simply wanted to have a drink on the bench in the back while I was waiting because I was really thirsty. The employee was really rude and said there was no option and I should wait in the back. She seemed extremely annoyed and stressed... That really annoyed me. But I'm happy about your reaction and will definitely give Chang Noi another chance on my next visit to Fulda, which is coming soon, because the food is really good!

The atmosphere is really great – cozy and stylish at the same time, perfect for a special occasion. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh and perfectly balanced, a real pleasure! The service was great: the waiters were very nice, attentive and made our evening even better. For us, Chang Noi is definitely our new favorite restaurant in Fulda – we will definitely be back!

It's advisable to reserve a table in advance, as it's always busy and you're lucky if something is spontaneously available. We'll definitely be back.

I tried to get into this place 3 times, and everything was already occupied all the time. As I know this is considered one of the most popular and best restaurant in Fulda. The food was quite good. Due to the fact that the restaurant is very small, there are very few seats, you need to reserve a table in advance.

What a great location! We had a great evening at Chaang Noi. The employees are very nice and attentive. The menu has very authentic Thai dishes that you won't find on any other menu. I can only recommend everyone to try the typical Thai Laab, it was by far the culinary highlight of the evening!
