A bit chaotic when you first get there. Where do I order something, where do I have to queue, but all in all it's going quite well. Since it's always full, the service is often quite stressful, but still okay. The food is of course good. At lunchtime there isn't just paninis or appetizer platters, but really good Italian food.

DON"T EAT HERE! I was REFUSED service at this PLACE because of the tone of my skin. The staff is horribly RACIST! Don't believe the smiles! This week was my first visit to the Centro Itallia eatery. It will be my last. Please find another place to eat and shop.

Daily changing menu with delicious true Italian food: pasta, fish, meat, starters, and of course Tiramisu. House wine is great value for money, too. Great place for lunch! Pro tip: order coffee with the food and pay everything right away to avoid having to queue for a second time after finishing your lunch.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat because the service insisted that the meat be served medium rare and not be rejected by the chef due to other requests. I own a restaurant and have been a chef for 24 years. I've never heard anything like that in my professional life.

Excellent food for reasonable prices. Prepare for a long line to the order cashier during rush times like lunch or opening time. Self-service but food is brought to you and you can order coffee or dessert at the table.

Penne Arrabbiata served quickly (in 30 seconds). Microwave quality? Lasagna was hot but overly salty. Healthy eating? Nothing here.

Der online Shop ist eine Frechheit und der Umgang mit dem Besteller auch. 2 x bestellt. 2 x keine Lieferung. Wurde beim 1 x wenigtsens noch von Centro storniert misste ich beim 2x nach 3 Wochen ohne Auch nur eine Versandankündigung selber stornieren. Bietet doch keine Wahren im onlineshop an die ihr nicht liefern könnt.

Große Auswahl, nettes Personal .

Wir kennen Centro Italia bereits seit Jahren an der Greifswalder Straße, nun waren wir auch einmal in Charlottenburg in der Sophie Charlotten Straße. Zuerst natürlich etwas essen, weil es dort super Pasta gibt und man zum Essen auch ein gepflegtes Glas Wein trinken kann (oder einen Aperol Spritz). Das Essen dort ist wirklich sehr lecker und auch noch bezahlbar. Danach waren wir einkaufen. Immer wieder ein Highlight, weil man dort Lebensmittel oder auch Haushaltsgegenstände bekommt, die es nicht überall zu kaufen gibt. Ach und die Wein Auswahl ist dort riesig. Jedenfalls wieder zu viel ausgegeben und zufrieden mit frischem Brot, leckeren Käse und frischer Mortadella zufrieden nach Hause gefahren. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wer Italien liebt und das italienische Gefühl haben möchte zu Hause zu sein, ist dort richtig

Bester Supermarkt für italienische Spezialitäten. Highlight ist zweifelsohne die Salumeria. Es gibt eine große Vielfalt an verschiedenen Wurst und Schinken sowie Käse. Preislich etwas teurer als anderswo, aber qualitativ ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Überraschend ist auch das Brot spitze welches mehrmals täglich gebacken wird. In Italien finde ich das Brot meist eher unspektakulär. Hier ist es wirklich großartig. Wie gemacht für eine schöne italienische Brotzeit.

Ist in letzter Zeit leider sehr teuer geworden 😪

We visited the restaurant few times and we will never visit it again and won't recommend it if you are in search for a respectful welcoming service which is more important than any food quality and label as LGBTQ+ friendly for us. When the act and behavior with customers show disrespect, the label is just a facade. The service were so impolite and rude with us. First time we thought that they were stress out as there were a lot of customers in that day and we consider that every body could have a bad day... . But the second time we were literally attacked by 2 waitresses; We wanted to order de-cafe coffee which they didn't have it in that day and when we wanted to order food, they just gave us a bread basket with cutlery with out getting our orders or asking us if we can wait at all or how long it will take time to wait for food. All in very aggressive attitude. They just told us that they will come to get our order in 15 mins... As we didn't have so much time to stay we gave back the bread basket and told them that we will improvise from the cheese options in the store. We bought some bread, cheese, pesto and olives and we sat and ate what we bought. In the middle of eating, the waitress came and impolitely, aggressively and rudely approached us that we are not allow to eat any thing here except the food from the restaurant. We tried to explain first in German and then in English. At the end we said that we understand your house rules now but no body inform us we are not allow to eat what we bought in the store there. Which is the case for many similar restaurants in a store. We were already in our way to leave. But few mins later another waitress came and more aggressively and very rudely told us to leave with out listening and just screaming and violating verbally. If there is a house rules it should be communicated politely and respectfully to the customers in advanced and they had the chance to tell us when we gave back the bread basket and informed them about our decision. Also having a stressful work day is not an excuse to be impolite and breaking the human boundary respect and violate others.

Zum Essen dort hätte ich heute bestellen können, mitnehmen war aber nicht möglich. Begründung: Zu viel los. Hä!? Das ist unlogisch (denn der Aufwand ist doch nahezu identisch) und leider nicht kundenfreundlich. Bitte wieder abstellen, ich möchte Ihr leckeres Essen auch ohne Corona-Gefahr zuhause genießen können.

The restaurant next to Centro Italia is surprisingly one of the best italian restaurants that I have been to here in Berlin. The prices are what you would expect for an Italian restaurant, but you can definitely feel that the chefs are using really good ingredients and know their job. Definitely teley a recomemnd.

Weil uns ein psychopatisch aggressiver Irrer meine Mutter angreifen wollte und ich dazwischen gegangen bin, wollte man uns mit rausschmeißen. Edit: offenbar gibt der Filialleiter in seiner Antwort zu, dass er die Videoaufnahmen von dem Tag nachwievor gespeichert hat und damit rechtswidrig handelt 🤣 Einfach ohne Worte. Vielleicht möchte ich als offenbar "passiv-aggressiver" ja aber auch den Typen wegen Beleidigung und Bedrohung anzeigen, der vom Filialleiter hier so schön in Schutz genommen wurde, also sind die nicht gelöschten Aufnahmen unter Umständen sogar hilfreich...🤔 Und zur Erinnerung: ich bin derjenige in den Aufnahmen, der sich zwischen einem Typen und meiner Mutter schiebt, der dabei war ihr gefährlich nahe zu kommen und dem Aggressor dabei den Rücken zuwendet (soviel zu passiv-aggressiv). Alles in allem ein toller Eindruck, den der Laden hier hinterlässt👍 Man fühlt sich wirklich gut aufgehoben

Great customer experience! I recently went to Centro Italia in Charlottenburg asking if they provide a gift basket service. They don't only provide this service, but they do it in an oustanding way! They have top quality italian products and are able to suggest you what's the best according to your taste and needs. Special mention to Giovanna that helped me to choose the products for my gift basket with lot of patience and professionality 😀100% recommended!

Was ich am liebsten in dieser Trattoria esse ist: gegrillte Calamari mit Salat aus Italien.

Ein sehr gute italienische Trattoria im wahren Herzen von Charlottenburg. Wir kommen gerne hier essen und genießen dann immer einen Antipasti Teller vorweg. Danach, obwohl die Karte minimal ist, fällt die Wahl immer schwer. Zur Auswahl steht die beste Pasta mit Bolognese, Fusilli mit frischem Lachs oder Spagetti mit Garnelen. Im Anschluss Espresso mit Tiramisu. Toll!

Ich bin mir nicht sicher was ich sagen soll. In dieser Trattoria schmeckt das Essen wie in einem Weltklasse Restaurant. Daher kann ich nur eine 5-Sterne Bewertung geben. Es gibt sehr guten Wein von Brunello di Montalcino bis Ca dei frati. Eine kleine Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten Pastagerichten, ein Fischgericht und ein Gericht mit Fleisch. Die Bedienung ist lässig, dezent und schnell. Der Koch singt und schimpft beides gleichzeitig und das schnell und laut. Eine sehr tolle Atmosphäre. Ich komme wieder!

Zum Frühstücken der ideale Ort. In diesem Restaurant bin ich bisher immer zum Mittagessen gewesen. Das war natürlich super! Bis mir jemand gesagt hat, dass man hier auch sehr gut frühstücken kann. Die Bedienung ist wie immer super nett und sehr charmant. Ich hatte zum Frühstück: Espresso, frisches Brot, einen Prosecco und eine Antipasti Platte.

Immer wieder sehr lecker. Und der Preis von 10€ für ein Mittagessen ist gerechtfertigt.

This Restaurant is my fav place, all food on the menu are really good, all fresh even the salad are good. Love the Tiramisu. Love the staffs, they all so friendly and fast serve.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nachgelassen. Nach meiner Erinnerung war der Antipasti-Teller vor corona preiswerter und grösser und die Kaffeepreise “italienischer“. Vielleicht wegen etwas weniger Gastplätzen innen wie außen. Werde noochmal probieren.

Worst service I've had in Berlin, so far! I arrived at the restaurant, tried to talk to a guy on the staff to understand if I needed to order in the counter or he'd come to the table: he doesn't speak to me and ignores me. Ok, I sat on a table and then he comes to me yelling that I can't do that without ordering at the counter first. Ok, I go to the counter he ignores me again when I try to ask if there's a menu or what are the available options. What the hell? I took my things and left, and I'll never go back.

Schon beim betreten habe ich immer ein gewisses italienisches Gefühl. Der Duft, der einem entgegen kommt ist ganz typisch Italien. Riesige Auswahl, alles frisch, der Schinken wird so dünn aufgeschnitten, dass man Zeitung dadurch lesen kann. Frisch gebackenes Ciabatta mit Parma-Schinken, dazu einen göttlichen Cappuccino, ich bin im Himmel.

Here you could find a great variety of Italian specialties in both the supermarket and restaurant sections. I really like the wine section, where I can find my favourite Sicilian and Sardinian wines among others. I'm also a fan of the desserts and coffee. The staff is very friendly. There is a dedicated car parking area which is very convenient.

Sehr gutes Essen in original italienischem Ambiente. Hatten unsere Firmen-Weihnachtsfeier hier. Essen war sehr lecker, aber die Organisation war ziemlich holprig. Über den Ladenteil des Centro Italia kann ich nichts sagen, da dieser zu so später Stunde nicht mehr geöffnet war. Kellner*Innen übrigens alle sehr nett!

Venerdì abbiamo mangiato dopo aver fatto la spesa, la cucina era già chiusa da presto ma il personale è stato gentile da proporci un'alternativa con salumi e formaggi, siamo stati consigliati sui vini (al bar si può fare un assaggio) da abbinare e siamo andati a casa soddisfatti. Prezzi un po' alti ma ne vale la pena
