Central in Wuppertal

Schöne Möglichkeit im Wuppertaler Süden recht lecker zu essen. Ob drinnen oder draußen beides ist gut gemacht. Ich kann den Flammkuchen und den Ziegenburger empfehlen. Alles top....aber der Wein ist mir zu teuer geworden. Ein einfachster Grauburgunder 0.2 für für 8 € ist mir zu viel.

Leier haben wir eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten müssen, obwohl wir fast die ersten im Lokal waren. Der Service war wirklich nicht gut. Darauf angesprochen, wurde ich einfach stehen gelassen. Geld zu verdienen scheint auch nicht an oberster Stelle zu stehen, nach der ersten Runde Getränke wurden wir bei einem Aufenthalt von 4 Stunden nicht noch mal nach einem Getränkewunsch angesprochen. Zu bezahlen wurde dann zum nächsten Problem. Wieder vergingen etliche Minuten. Ein Kellner saß hinterm Bambusstrauch und rauchte die anderen aßen 20 Minuten an einem Tisch. Andere Gäste sind mittlerweile gegangen, ohne gegessen zu haben, da die Wartezeit nicht akzeptabel ist.

Wir waren heute Abend im Central zum Essen verabredet und hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Wir saßen draußen und um uns herum waren alle Plätze frei. Kurz danach, als wir das Essen bekamen, kamen 5 Kellner*innen raus und setzten sich direkt neben uns an einen Tisch und alle zündeten sich eine Zigarette an. Als wir die Angestellten dort freundlich gebeten hatten, zum Rauchen bitte 2 Tische weiter zu ziehen (die Terasse war komplett frei), wurde sehr patzig reagiert und die Anfrage ignoriert, sowie hörbar über uns gelästert. Zusätzlich betonten wir 2 Mal, dass meine Freundin hochschwanger sei aber auch das interessierte niemanden. Stattdessen wurden wir belehrt, dass wir die Terasse verlassen müssten, damit die Angestellten dort rauchen könnten. Diese Reaktion hat uns einfach nur schockiert - so geht man doch nicht mit freundlichen Bitten zahlender Gäste um. Wir werden das Restaurant nie wieder betreten.

Ich war gestern zu Gast mit meinem Mann im Central Ronsdorf und habe leider eine sehr unangenehme Situation miterlebt, die mich nachhaltig erschüttert hat. Vor den Augen der Gäste wurde eine junge Mitarbeiterin von der Inhaberin in einer Art und Weise zurechtgewiesen, die aus meiner Sicht weder respektvoll noch professionell war. Besonders befremdlich fand ich, dass anschließend in einem Gespräch mit dem Küchenchef auf Serbisch weiter über die Mitarbeiterin gesprochen und sie beleidigt wurde. Da ich die Sprache verstehe, konnte ich den Inhalt nachvollziehen. Für mich sagt der Umgang mit den eigenen Mitarbeitern sehr viel über ein Unternehmen aus. Fehler können passieren, aber Kritik gehört hinter verschlossene Türen und nicht vor die Gäste. Ein respektvoller Umgang sollte selbstverständlich sein, unabhängig von der Position eines Menschen. Ich habe meine Wahrnehmung beim Verlassen des Lokals auch direkt angesprochen. Leider hat dieser Vorfall meinen Eindruck des Hauses stark negativ geprägt. Schade, denn ein gutes gastronomisches Konzept steht und fällt nicht nur mit Essen und Service, sondern auch mit dem Umgang der Menschen untereinander.

Leider eine der wenigen 'netten' Alternativen in Ronsdorf, aber mal realistisch verglichen ist es hier einfach heftig überteuert und das Essen ist halt nett angerichtetes Convenience-Food aus der Metro. Beispiel: Eine Portion Trüffelmayo zu den Pommes kostet 4,50€ extra. Gebessert hat sich das Personal und die Einrichtung. Die Auswahl an vegetarischen Speisen ist auch ziemlich mau, gerade für ein Angebot an Bowls, Sandwiches und Pasta. (Update 2026)

Waren heute gegen 17 Uhr dort, es waren 3 Tische belegt und wir nahmen an einem Tisch Platz für 4 Personen waren aber nur zu zweit , die Service Kraft kam dann an den Tisch und wurden ziemlich unhölich dazu aufgefordert an einen Tisch zu gehen für 2 Personen , grundsätzlich in Ordnung ,aber derTon macht die Musik und das Restaurant war fast leer ! Haben dann auf das Essen verzichtete und sind wieder gegangen ,ich erwarte Gästen gegenüber einen anderen Ton und bei einem fast leerem Lokal eine freie Platzwahl.

Pasta Hauptgerichte waren sehr köstlich, aber die Portionen leider zu klein. Nach Hinweis beim Service wurde uns spontan ein Flammkuchen auf Kosten des Hauses angeboten. Absolut kundenfreundliches Angebot und freundlicher entgegenkommender Service. Vielen Dank.

Seit das Central einen neuen Pächter hat , mag ich nicht mehr hin gehen . Ich habe es getestet , das Essen war lecker, aber alles in allem , viel zu teuer . Die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich . Ab 14 Uhr gibt es keine warme Speisen mehr, sondern nur Kuchen und Kaffee . Erst ab 17 Uhr /17:30 Uhr gibt es wieder etwas aus der Küche , sagte man mir . Das Ambiente sieht schön aus . Ist aber auch das einzigste was schön ist . Wünsche mir das alte ungezwungene Central zurück .

Wir waren mit sechs Personen beim Essen. Alles perfekt gelaufen. Essen kam gleichzeitig. Jedem hat das Essen geschmeckt. Wir kommen wieder. Nur eins gab’s zum Verbessern: Ein paar Nudeln waren ungleich gekocht. Jedoch ist das jetzt jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Ich schreibe dies nachdem ich zwei mal mit Freunden hier war um Burger zu Essen: Ambiente: Top, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und angenehme, moderne Atmosphäre Service: sehr freundluch Essen (Burger): Leider enttäuschend. Die Burger haben eine gute Zusammenstellung aber die Patties bei beiden Besuchen waren zu trocken und fest weil sie einfach deutlich über den Punkt hinaus waren. Selbst die Buns (also das Burgerbrot) war bei meinem letzten Besuch deutlich zu lange im Ofen. Es war nicht verbrannt, darauf möchte ich extra nochmal hinweisen, aber sehr trocken und hart. Die Pommes zum Burger waren bei meinem ersten Besuch gut, beim letzten wiederum nicht. Fazit: Bei einem Preis von 19 Euro für einen Burger würde ich da mehr erwarten. Schade, weil alles andere dort wirklich schön und stimmig ist.

Unser erster Besuch nach der Neueröffnung, Einrichtung und Deko sind sehr ansprechend. Die Speisekarten bestehen aus losen Blättern die auf einem Klemmbrett befestigt sind, leider haben wir ein sehr abgegriffenes Exemplar bekommen.....Preis für einen recht kleinen Kaffee viel zu hoch : 3,50 €. Das Frühstück war optisch schön angerichtet, leider fehlten die passenden Gewürze, Avocado (war unter dem Lachs) kann man doch so schmackhaft anrichten und hier nur Salz und Pfeffer hinzustellen war etwas wenig. Zum Omelette gab es zwei trockene!!! Scheiben Brot, ein wenig Butter hätte nicht geschadet. Für die Preise alles etwas holprig.

Schade, ich mag eigentlich das Central als angenehmen und gemütlichen Ort, doch das, was ich dort gegessen habe, sieht zwar auf dem Teller gut aus, wird aber in der Qualität immer schlechter: Rührei mit Chorizo für 11,90 Euro in dem man die Chorizo Scheiben suchen muss, um sie zu finden, ein gänzlich fantasieloses Frühstück für 11,90 Euro ( deutlich überteuert für das Gebotene plus 9 Euro für zwei Milchkaffee macht 20,90 Euro), und das "Gegrillte Maishuhn" (19,90 Euro) kommt nicht frisch gegrillt und saftig auf den Tisch, sondern aufgewärmt und trocken. Und man lässt die Gäste aus einer abgegriffenen, schmuddeligen Speisekarte wählen, die aus einzelnen Blättern auf einem Klemmhefter besteht - und da wäre es doch ganz einfach, die Blätter mal neu zu kopieren....? Also, liebe/r Inhaber/in vom Central: Wenn das nicht anders wird, dann werde ich kaum noch Lust haben Gast zu sein... Schade.

Das Restaurant Central in Ronsdorf ist ein wunderbarer Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich, alles ist sauber und angenehm, und man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Das Essen ist köstlich, frisch und hervorragend zubereitet, wunderschön angerichtet und die Portionen sind großzügig. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal – freundlich, aufmerksam und höflich, immer mit einem Lächeln und hilfsbereit. Der Service ist schnell und professionell. Ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eine ruhige, herzliche Atmosphäre. Ich kann das Restaurant Central jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der in Ronsdorf nach leckerem Essen und einem angenehmen Ambiente sucht.

Ein sehr gemütliches Café. Wobei das Wort Café nicht ganz passt, weil man hier auch richtig gut zu Abend essen kann. Es gibt hier typische Kaffee und Kuchen Spezialitäten als auch ein gutes Abendessen. Der Flammkuchen hat es uns besonders angetan. Bei gutem Wetter auch draußen. Immer gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes und leckeres Restaurant! Definitiv eine Empfehlung.

Ich war gestern mit Freunde da. Wir hatten zum Glück einen Tisch reserviert, mussten dennoch warten weil der Tisch lnoch nicht abgeräumt war. Die Kellnerin war wohl neu, sie konnte keine Fragen beantworten und schien sprachlich Probleme zu haben. Eine Freundin, hat diverse Allergien und bat drum gewisse Zutaten (wie Tomaten ) einfach wegzulassen. Leider wurde dieser Wunsch ignoriert. Die andere Freundin bekam das falsche Gericht serviert. Die Kellnerin war sichtlich genervt als man sie darauf ansprach. Die erste Runde Getränke lief noch reibungslos, danach haben wir ewig warten müssen und mussten teilweise auf uns aufmerksam machen. Auf Toilette waren keine Papierhandtücher mehr, auch dieses wurde trotz freundlichen Hinweis völlig ignoriert. Ein Restaurant der solche Preise verlangt sollte vom Personal anders aufgestellt sein. 2 Kellner, für ein zum Teil volles Restaurant, ist vom Betreiber ein Scherz. Ich werde mein Geld zukünftig lieber woanders ausgeben.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir waren im Central und sind rundum begeistert. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, die Qualität des Essens hervorragend – man schmeckt einfach, dass hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Auch das Ambiente ist wunderschön und gemütlich, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

10 a.m. I sat down at a table with a view of the park. The guy with glasses was completely unfriendly when I ordered (I only had a coffee). He brought me the coffee and when he saw me sitting there, he asked if I hadn't found another seat. I just wanted him to remove the chain connecting the table and chairs. He simply said, "Well, no, either this way or somewhere else." I pointed out to him that he was being unfriendly, and then he just took the coffee back. 😂😂 Clown What a way to behave, probably reflects his upbringing. He could have just asked me nicely if I could move. I've probably been in the profession for years, but I'm still an amateur, honestly, and I've been a waitress for years. You don't do that.

I was thrilled on my first visit. The atmosphere was very cozy and the food was good!

Yesterday I went to Cafe Central with several friends. The ambiance is very appealing, and initially everything went smoothly. However, when I ordered my meal, which I'd been looking forward to for weeks—spaghetti with fresh truffle—I was told that they didn't have any truffles (in winter? Why is it on the menu then...?). If I ordered it anyway, they would offer me a discount on the price, which is normally €21.90 (which is the bare minimum!). What arrived next, with a "truffle sauce" that didn't deserve the name in any way, was an outrage. The price of €18.90 was outrageous, and the server simply stated that he didn't set the prices. So they only charge €3.00 for fresh truffles??? Perhaps I was lucky they didn't have any! Because what on earth is a fresh truffle supposed to look like as a topping for €3.00? The whole thing was a farce, and I'll never be going back to that place! Ridiculous! I'm still incredibly annoyed.

We were there for the first time today. Service was great, food was great, the only downside was that where we sat by the windows facing the street, it was very cold and drafty!

2025 - The quality of the food seems to be declining and the prices are rising. The truffle mayonnaise (mayonnaise with truffle flavoring that has never seen a real truffle) is a rip-off at over €4 for a small dipping bowl. The waiter didn't even know which beers they served, so he just guessed Carlsberg and Paulaner. Both were wrong. 2022 - Nice cafe with a beer garden. We were here for breakfast and the food exceeded our expectations. It could only be better if the bread had been toasted a little more. The staff was super friendly. The drinks are a bit pricey, but the food is very good value for the quality. How I rate *****Wow **** Really good *** Good ** Did not meet expectations * bad

We were at this restaurant today, Thursday, at 3:00 PM. After 10 minutes, we finally received the drinks menu (one waiter was on the phone the whole time, the other was outside smoking). When we asked for the food menu, we were told, "We don't have any hot food right now, only cake." I thought that sort of thing hadn't happened since 1990, but apparently it has. We left.

The restaurant generally makes a positive first impression. The premises are attractively designed, and one feels comfortable there. However, the prices for food and drinks are significantly inflated. This would be acceptable if the quality and service matched the price level – which unfortunately was not the case. On my last visit, I ordered a medium-rare steak. However, I was served a very small piece of meat that was completely overcooked. After complaining, I received a new steak, which initially appeared fine, but seemed clearly spoiled upon first tasting and smelling it. This was also confirmed by my companions. Despite my second complaint and the promise that the chef would come to the table, he did not appear – on the contrary, he even left the restaurant after some time. What was particularly disappointing was that the substandard steak was still charged in full at €30. I would also like to add that some members of the service staff lacked friendliness and professionalism.

Unfortunately, it's not a pretty sight: For over a week, broken glass has been littering the sidewalk in front of the Central restaurant. Now it's even scattered throughout the park. It looks neither inviting nor well-maintained – a shame, because the location is actually quite lovely. It's sad that a local resident has to sweep up the glass, while it seems to bother no one at the restaurant. I hope it gets cleaned up soon.

I was there with my 94-year-old grandmother. Very unfriendly behavior, also heard from others in Ronsdorf. They served chanterelle mushrooms with pasta and bacon, but they just cheekily said they were out of chanterelles. The shops were still open at 12 noon. They slapped the menu back on me. Then it's not. There are other restaurants in Ronsdorf where you can eat well and enjoyably. Never again. We don't need that in Ronsdorf...

Sorry, but I have different expectations of an upscale restaurant. The waiter is very inexperienced and doesn't accommodate any requests. THE meal wasn't what I ordered...a steak with a small pot of mayonnaise instead of the dip, and the accompanying salad arrived after I'd already eaten the steak. The prices are way too high: €30 for a small steak with fries. Even the espresso costs €3.50. This restaurant and its service are simply terrible. I can't recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. I paid €40 for this terrible meal, including a bottle of water and an espresso.

I don't understand the negative reviews. We stopped here spontaneously after a hike. The ambiance is very appealing, and we received a friendly welcome even without a reservation. The service was impeccable—very fast, friendly, and attentive. My husband and I both had the oriental lentil soup as a starter, very tasty and, at €6.90, completely reasonable in price. We followed it with burgers with sweet potato fries (the latter a bit too dark) and a great corn-fed chicken bowl. Very nice mixed salad and vegetables, delicious dressing. Very good wine selection! The espresso was also excellent. We were completely satisfied.

Expensive... a 0.75-liter bottle of water for €8 is pretty steep... nothing special in terms of service, and the food is nothing special either. Overall, expensive, but okay for a drink.

The service was excellent; I've rarely experienced such friendly service! They were always there when I needed something, but never intrusive. The food was also excellent value for money!

I've experienced a lot, but today things went a step further! I wanted to enter the restaurant and a 15-year-old woman stood in front of me and asked me what I wanted. I answered her question, I would like to go to the toilet. She then told me that I wasn't allowed to use the toilet! When I asked why, ... then anyone can come in here! Now comes the problem, three of my people had taken a table outside to have something to drink and eat, so I was refused access to the toilet before I ordered something! I certainly don't have the courage to explain my actions to a cheeky person like this young woman! That evening the owner lost €80! Because all four of us left the restaurant and went outside and will certainly never go back in!!! I've never come across such impudence!

I had all the starters and white wine. Price is fair, ambience was great, staff was friendly and the decor is beautiful.

The service was inattentive; we constantly had to call for drinks, and drinks were sometimes forgotten. The food was poorly seasoned. Requests for goat cheese instead of Serrano ham were ignored. There was no Serrano ham, but the full price, and only one goat cheese, as stated on the menu. It's a shame because the restaurant has a beautiful location and the ambiance is pleasant.

The service was really nice, the food was cooked fast. Also, the burgers tasted really good, the fries are okay, but the steak was pretty much tasteless, no spices, no salt, nothing, even though it cost over 20 euros. The drinks are expensive, as well as other food. I would only come here for a burger, to be completely honest. The portions weren't too big nor too small, just enough to make you feel full. Overall this place is nice, but the steak really impacted our impression about it.

We waited 25 minutes to place a drink order, and they only took our order because we asked. The service was rather grumpy and uninvolved. We also had to request another drink order. The food was good; we would order again. Overall: food and drinks were relatively expensive. But that's the case almost everywhere these days—but then the service is good, and you're happy to pay for it.

Friendly service. We enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, only 3 stars because of the drink prices. A 0.2 liter Coke costs €3.80, which equates to €19 per liter. That even tops the Oktoberfest prices. It's a shame, really.

The burgers are absolutely amazing! Crispy bun and delicious patty. The owner even ran after us to the car and brought me my sunglasses, which I'd forgotten. Great place.

Our first visit to Central after the change of ownership. Drinks were delivered quickly, and service was friendly. My wife ordered a bowl with corn-fed chicken. The meat was okay, but the salad was anything but fresh and was already wilted, and the rice was mushy and flavorless. The presentation also could have been improved. My goat cheese burger: the patti was hard and dark all over, looking like it had just come out of a deep fryer. At least the fries were tasty. We answered the famous question about whether everything was okay honestly. Very fair: We didn't charge for the bowl. Everyone deserves a second chance. We'll definitely go back. By the way: The wines by the glass are overpriced, in my opinion.

Apparently, there's a new owner and a new menu. The staff was very friendly, and the ambiance is really great. Unfortunately, the menu is quite varied, with a bit of everything (oriental lentil soup, pasta, burgers, etc.), which I personally don't like. I prefer a focus on one particular area. A huge drawback: there's no dairy alternative and generally very few vegan food options! The number of vegan dishes is still up for debate, but NO dairy alternative? These days, that should be practically standard for a modern café/bistro. I would be happy to see that change.

The ambiance was nice, the waiters were attentive but seemed out of place, and the wait was very long. Unfortunately, the food was really not good. The pimientos for the appetizer were practically raw. We then had tarte flambée, some of which were burnt. One tarte flambée was made with salmon, and it was obvious that it was of poor quality. The prices are really excessive for the food offered. It's a shame, as the location is nicely decorated.

The seating is very pleasant, but that's about it. The prices for food and drinks are significantly inflated, and some of the food was also borderline good in terms of quality, especially considering the hefty prices. Added to that is the overwhelmed and inexperienced service. If you're from Bergisch, you'd probably call it "half a turd." We're definitely not going back here.

A really nice shop in itself. But the service is disastrous. Unfortunately, the prices are really high, which would be okay if everything else were right. We actually wanted to eat, but the kitchen doesn't open until 5:30 p.m. So we waited. The quality was really poor. The burger had a frozen patty, and it was burnt, too. Sorry, but we probably won't be back.

So far, so good. I think the gourmet breakfast for two people is a bit overpriced for what you get.

We only had a few drinks, so I can't comment on the quality of the food. But the prices for drinks are, in my opinion, very inflated. A non-alcoholic wheat beer costs €5.90 and a 0.2l Fanta costs €3.80. So, I'll be avoiding Central in the future. What a shame...

I was there both at the reopening and today, and I was completely satisfied. The food was delicious, the prices reasonable, and the service very attentive.

Absolutely excellent value for money. It was very tasty and the atmosphere was great. We'll be back!

The food is just as delicious and beautifully presented as before. But unfortunately, the kitchen is also everything I can only praise. I come from the restaurant industry myself, and unfortunately, the waiters are often disorganized and seem overwhelmed. Please also advise the waiters on child/family friendliness. It's not children and families that bother them, but rather the guests and waiters who lack understanding. Children and families are the most normal thing in the world. Laughing and playing cards at a certain level shouldn't be criticized either. Nobody wants to go out to eat where they can't sit together with their family or even be a little "exuberant." Of course, everyone should maintain a certain noise level, but in general, I've also encountered a lot of hostile behavior towards families. Our children are your next customers. After the last few years and the negative and hostile decline in society's behavior, most people could slowly pull the stick out of their buttocks and start living instead of negating everything. And the drink prices are really a bit high. But the food is always delicious :D

Beautiful location, but the service is terrible. They give you a hard time because you just want to order a drink. After the first visit, I lost my appetite. A maximum of 2/10 because the frozen food and prices are comparatively high. They don't have an allergen menu either. I've been put off twice within two months. Overall, not great. I recommend the shop across the street, about 40 meters away on foot.

I used to love going there regularly, but since the change of ownership, I've unfortunately avoided it. The menu takes some getting used to, and the cocktail selection is almost nonexistent. It used to be that everyone could find something if there were several of us. The service was not particularly friendly on every visit. After ordering once, you wouldn't be served for ages, and you'd just sit around with empty glasses. It's a shame; it's probably better to drive to Elberfeld.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it. This was my second visit to the Central since it reopened and I was disappointed again. The first time, I was sympathetic to the initial difficulties of a new team (e.g., there were long waits, or the food was served before the drinks...) – but this time I realized that the situation hadn't improved. The drink prices are above average, which in itself would be justifiable if everything else was up to scratch. However, there are major weaknesses in the service and, unfortunately, also in the hygiene standards: The bread basket was dirty and contained grain residue from previous guests. My polite complaint was not met with a proper apology or compensation. When paying, I was indirectly pressured to tip when the wait staff didn't simply give me the change, but instead asked, "That's right, isn't it?" It was particularly unpleasant to hear the staff subsequently complaining about my companion and me to their colleague – apparently because two of my three friends hadn't tipped due to the poor service. Despite the generally attractive interior and the obvious potential of the location, I will refrain from further visits in the future.

Unacceptable behavior: A waitress intentionally touches a female customer several times. It was probably meant to be teasing, but it's completely out of line.

We were there on Tuesday, ordered drinks, and played a relaxed round of 6 nimmt. It wasn't loud, and no one was bothered by it. Then we were more or less politely informed that card games weren't allowed there... I've never heard such nonsense before. Making such a fuss in a café/lounge/bar, not an upscale restaurant, is truly ridiculous. The food looked pretty good, but the drink prices are really very expensive: €3.80 for a 0.2 Coke and €5.80 for a non-alcoholic wheat beer...

Unfriendly service. No card payments without notice from the waiter. Food isn't served until the evening. No coffee or cake menu. This isn't going to work.

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right, it is much too expensive.

A restaurant that was still missing in Ronsdorf. Not just a restaurant, also a chill lounge, a place to unwind, have breakfast and feel good. Very comfortably furnished, a menu that offers something for every taste and is very extensive for a new opening. Very nice terrace, great plants inside and out. 1a cuisine, very good service, attentive and friendly. We have been there several times and have not been disappointed so far. If something doesn't work straight away, you should be understanding; a new team just needs a bit of start-up time and coordination. Keep it up.

8.90€ a glass of wine seriously? Price-performance for the wine is unfortunately disappointing The two of us were there two weeks ago on a Sunday evening just to try out the restaurant. The burger was really tasty and the bowl – something a little different – ​​also tasted good. We would have liked to have had a glass of wine with our meal, but we found €8.90 to be much too much. Even in Cologne or Düsseldorf – with a view of the Rhine – you often pay less for it. And here we are, after all, “just” in Ronsdorf on the market square. Last week we were in the Luisenviertel – the wine prices there were significantly lower. It would be nice if there was also a simple house wine in the range of around €6. So you're more likely to grab a cocktail, even though you'd actually prefer wine with your meal - simply because the price is the same.

Nice shop in itself. But service underground. Prices above average, which would be okay if everything else were right. We were initially there with five adults and one child. We actually wanted to eat, but the kitchen doesn't open until 5:30 p.m. Then a married couple with a child and a baby came along. We put a small table next to our big one. Yes, it was close to the next table. Then someone from the staff came and said, "It's nice that you feel at home, but..." No question, we of course moved the tables apart again, but that could have been said differently. Maybe it was the children who weren't welcome. After that statement, it was clear that we weren't waiting for the kitchen to open. We've already eaten somewhere else where we were treated in a friendly and courteous manner. Then we heard the waitress say to an older couple “You don’t have to come back”. I have NEVER experienced such rude staff! I'm curious to see how long the store lasts this time. They have lost me as a potential regular customer!

As an individual you are not served - that's quite arrogant! I would have really liked to eat asparagus, I really hope it gets back to you!!

New operator, new concept: Everything is now nicer, more stylish, more comfortable! Attentive and very friendly service. Ordered burgers and pasta - everything was very tasty, beautifully prepared and served quickly. A new star in the Ronsdorf gastronomic sky!

Nice bistro with a good and extensive range of dishes, where everyone will find something. Seating was easy to choose and the service was nice, the food was tasty and plentiful. I'd love to come back again!

We think it's a shame that the lights are going out here at the end of the year. We really enjoyed being there, whether alone, as a couple or with friends

We go to Central a lot. You can sit very well outside and inside and the food is really delicious. The coffee/cake selection (homemade) is also very good. The team does a good job (especially because they are sometimes thinly staffed) :-)

Mega delicious food, very friendly service, great ambience. Was there with my wife, we had burgers and a large portion of sweet potato fries with truffle dip. The dip is our absolute recommendation! We particularly noticed the friendly service, much more than the minimum level of attention and friendliness that is sometimes usual in Germany. Any time!

Man/woman sits very comfortably in the green in the small park in the middle of Ronsdorf, very nice. I met someone I knew here. We were recommended the Méditerranée cheese vegetable plate. We celebrated our wedding there and found it really incredibly beautiful, it was a closed party, everything was set and decorated for us and our wishes were taken into account. The food was really very tasty. We had various starters, a grill buffet and everything was freshly prepared and grilled on site and each of our guests praised the food very much. The service was really great, very nice and polite. Drinks were also really great and above all we had a large selection for a great price-performance ratio. All in all, it was a great wedding for us there.

Slow service, drinks prices were sometimes way too high (7.50 euros for 200 ml Aperol Spritz), food was okay (burger patty has a lot of room for improvement). Customer criticism was not responded to professionally.

Very nice location in the heart of Ronsdorf with a harmonious ambience, really tasty food and nice, attentive service. There is a paid underground car park in the house itself, but there are enough free parking spaces in the surrounding area.

Nice location in Ronsdorf. In summer you can sit outside nicely. Tarte flambée goat cheese was very tasty.
