Super delicious, fresh bowls!!! :-)

The food was unfortunately not good. The noodles weren't cooked long enough. The noodles and rice were also dry and under-seasoned. We informed Cau about this. The food was inedible; we had to throw everything away. What a waste of money. To make matters worse, we had diarrhea all night and feel terrible. We are disappointed and shocked 😣 and will never eat there again 👎🏻

Here's what a former restaurant professional with kitchen experience writes: Well, for a quick bite in my category, it's sufficient. I might not like the sushi (which really does look great), but the Peking soup and sweet and sour duck tasted good, though I've had better elsewhere. In school grades: Peking soup: 3- (with a lot of leniency) The meat (duck): 4 Hardly crispy, more like soggy The rice: 5+ (far too moist and sticky; it certainly wasn't jasmine rice and probably cooked incorrectly) (Far Eastern-style rice is cooked in a steamer so that it doesn't stick but remains nice and crispy; this tasted like it had been boiled in a German pot) The sauce (sweet and sour): 5- (with a lot of leniency) What immediately stood out: Western European vegetables (cauliflower and broccoli) and zucchini—those don't belong in a sweet and sour sauce! No morels, hardly any bamboo shoots, and canned pineapple, but far too little of it. No bean sprouts, which are actually typical for Asian cuisine. The best product: the Coca-Cola, but that's not something they've done themselves, so it's included in the rating. Overall rating after adding up the individual scores: a barely passing 4, tending towards a 4-. For around €20, you can find comparable products of significantly better quality elsewhere (including here in Fulda).

It was my first time here, and I was thrilled. The service and food were fantastic, everything was top-notch!

We've eaten here many times and were usually satisfied. The delivery time was always long, but that was communicated beforehand, so it was fair. Today, however, when we inquired, we were told that our order had simply been "forgotten" and the driver had already gone home for the day. So we were left at 9 pm without food, and even hungrier and more frustrated. Mistakes can happen, of course, but I would have appreciated a bit more understanding.

Very, very tasty sushi. Pre-ordering for pickup works great. The Sakura Roll is a great combination that no order should be without. Rice noodles with duck are also delicious. The menu is varied. The staff is great.

We ordered from Cau several times as a group on weekend evenings. You definitely have to factor in a wait (around an hour). The food never disappointed and always tasted great!

Unfortunately, we were not at all satisfied with the service. The server rarely came to our table – to order anything else, we had to go to the counter ourselves. Used plates weren't cleared away, and we weren't asked if we wanted more coffee or dessert. It's a shame, because the food was delicious, but the service unfortunately spoiled the experience.

Unfortunately, I would give the telephone service minus five stars if it were possible. Completely unfriendly. You answer the phone without knowing where you've landed. No introduction, no friendly greeting, just nothing. The unfriendly woman on the other end of the line should probably be sent on a training course. There are also negative points for the delivery option within a certain radius for orders over €20. This means that if you want to order something as a single person, it's simply not possible, as you can't possibly spend €20 on food.

The duck curry was very tasty. The summer roll, however, could have been better.

Delicious Asian food in a modern location.

Well well. This has got to be the worst Asian place in Fulda I've eaten at by far. Their fried food is way tooo greasy. I think its bad oil. The hause made curry tastes burnt and too pungent. Nuh uh never again.

I am really disappointed. I saw the good reviews so I ordered food. But the rice are super undercooked and the combination with red thai curry just tastes bad. I hope I don't get sick.

Please don't be deceived by the overall reviews. The food that I tried (fried rice noodles, springrolls and thai curry) tasted horrid. I had rather good expectations but the food left me thinking otherwise. Definitely not eating here again.

I've ordered sushi here several times and have been impressed every time. The sushi is highly recommended. I haven't tried anything else there yet. I can't comment on the ambiance or service, as it was always delivered or I picked it up.

I'd only ever known Cau as a delivery service. Now we ate there and were very pleasantly surprised. We had spring rolls, mie goreng, and sushi. The spring rolls were good, although they might not have been homemade. The sushi and mie goreng were fresh, homemade, and very good, as were the bananas with chocolate sauce. We vacation in Asia every year and therefore believe we can judge the authenticity of the food. The prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity of the food. You also don't smell MSG, like in other Asian restaurants. A very good sign. The highlight, however, was our table service. Always friendly and courteous. It was a pleasure! We'd be happy to come back.

Honest opinion, this is my first review I've ever written/needed to write. We went there as a family for dinner. It was a small restaurant in a quiet location with an outdoor area. Nicely decorated, clean, and the service was okay. About the food: The sushi was good. The Peking soup was more like goulash, which I'm not used to. The kids had chicken noodles "with vegetables" – hardly any vegetables, the noodles tasted of frying fat, and the sweet and sour duck was also not worth the money. It tasted like a bucket or pre-made sauce, and I was also very disappointed with the duck breast. My son almost gagged. For us, it was our first and definitely last visit there, even though the price, like most Asian restaurants, is relatively cheaper. Sorry for my honesty. However, I'm not willing to sugarcoat bad food.

Unfortunately, delivery times are impossible; sometimes you have to wait an hour or more. But the food tastes delicious.

Very long waiting time and poor service!

The food is delicious, but the service is a disaster!!! August 24, 2025 Even though the restaurant was empty, I've had to wait a long time several times before anyone even took my drink order. The last time, it took over 15 minutes. Today, after more than five minutes, I went to the counter myself and said I wanted to order. The waitress's response was, "Wait, I'll be right there." No one offered me a drink. Instead of serving the only table with three new guests in the empty restaurant, two employees were exclusively occupied with taking and serving takeout orders. Does that mean I'm not allowed to place an order here? Other guests who aren't even seated in the restaurant are getting their food—and I can't even order a glass of water? When I made it clear that this wasn't the first time and that I wanted to order here because the service was poor, the waitress said, "If you don't like it, you can leave." Excuse me, what do you mean by "leave"? I'm a paying guest and I want to eat here because I like the food. And they just turn me away, the customer? There were three of us, and we would have spent at least €60 one evening. I don't cook at home and have enough money to eat at a restaurant every day. Let's do the math: 5 visits per week × €60 = €300 × 4 weeks = €1,200 per month. And they "turn away" guests like that? Is it really worth it for the boss to pay waiters and rent if no one eats at the restaurant? Despite the poor service, we bought the food and ate it at home, but our mood was ruined. No one apologized. It's a shame that the good food here is completely ruined by rude behavior and a lack of service. Not recommended!

I had already taken a scoop before it dawned on me to review! Taste and Texture of the food was good and consistent as my previous order. Quantity wise, it was okay… but a little less than the previous order. Service was just okay… nothing special… just a team doing their work at normal pace. Environment is neat, calm and inviting… though there were couple of insects having fun on the tables, etc! Maybe it’s because it’s summer! Price is comparably okay! Will I go there again? Yes Will I recommend? Yes

Very disappointing. I ordered fried noodles with vegetables and breaded chicken. The chicken was okay, but the noodles seemed old and the vegetables were wilted—unbelievably tasteless. I politely pointed this out to the staff, but received only the brief reply that it was fresh and looked that way because it had been fried. There was no apology or any concession—we ended up having to pay the full price, even though I could barely touch my food. That's not how I imagine a restaurant visit.

I've been to this restaurant several times and I'm impressed every time! The sushi is always fresh and incredibly delicious. The portions are also perfectly adequate – you'll be well-fed. The service is friendly and attentive, even if it sometimes takes a little longer for the food to arrive. Nevertheless, you always feel welcome and well-taken care of. All in all, a great place for sushi lovers – I'll definitely be back!

The fried noodles are the worst I've ever eaten. And the sushi was hotter than the noodles.🤮

The service is just tin. The girl deliberately served us badly! I only speak English, and my mother speaks a little German. But your waitress didn't want to help us or understand us, although she understands English. The big question is why this attitude? Why can't I help with the choice? The service is zero, I highly do not recommend going here! And how did I realise that she knows English? As soon as I put my water on the table, she immediately ran up and in an orderly tone told me to remove it.

I don't know how poorly they can serve their guests. But this restaurant takes first place by far. The service is very rude and snotty, and customers seem to be the problem. You have to take care of the service yourself. If you want to take the food out, you have to pack it yourself. Unbelievable! I'm extremely disappointed, and unfortunately, you have to give it at least one star. In short, as a customer, you feel unwelcome, and I generally don't recommend it.

We now drive about an hour to eat sushi there. It's delicious, with a wide selection and something different. I personally can't stand the fried sushi. But it's still delicious. You can park in the Kaufland parking lot. There are plenty of spaces. The only drawback for us is that they only accept cash. But we've gotten used to that. The menu is very extensive. There are hot dishes, sushi, build-your-own bowls, soups, and much more.

I wanted a bite to eat before the concert at the Cathedral Square. It was nothing. The portions were very generous. The food was delicious. I've never eaten so much. The vegetables still tasted like their original variety, not overcooked. More than satisfied with the price/performance ratio.

I always order via WhatsApp for delivery. It's very quick and easy. The sushi I ordered today is amazing again. Fresh, delicious, and attractively packaged. The delivery person is always very friendly, too.

In my opinion, this is the most delicious sushi in all of Fulda. The excellent taste is further enhanced by the cozy atmosphere.

Ordered food. In terms of grades: The mini spring rolls were exactly like frozen Lidl rolls, not really good. A 4! The soup tasted very good, but unfortunately only moderately warm, so a 3+. The Thai duck was excellent in terms of the sauce! Unfortunately, the duck wasn't crispy anymore, and the vegetables were also unfortunately mediocre. The flavor, however, still a 2-. All in all, a solid 3 overall.

Sushi always tastes good, unfortunately today delivery came for the second time without chopsticks and only one pot of soy sauce for 64 rolls of sushi. We asked if there was anything else we could do about the missing items, but no. It must be difficult to think about the cutlery and the sauce at the same time when packing food.

So I really can't say anything against Cau Asia Kitchen. The food was very good and I didn't have to wait long. It was also very nice there.

We eat there pretty regularly. The restaurant has super delicious food. The atmosphere has been even nicer since the renovation. The service is great. Please don't let up and keep it up.

I wanted to eat there on Saturday with 3 children but it was a nightmare. The owner of the shop sat at the next table with people and stared at us and shouted at us several times that my little son (2 years old) shouldn't touch the grid wall at the entrance. I took the little one away from this wall several times. I said to the owner that we are insured against damages if anything gets damaged. After that I just held the little one on my lap because he was like a thorn in the side of the owner. He then said to his employees (without telling me) that the food they had ordered was only available to take away and went into the kitchen. When I was told the food was ready for pickup, I found out about the owner's decision from the waiter and had to take the food home and eat there. Conclusion: This is definitely not a child-friendly shop, the owner should put up a sign saying that children have to be "leashed" at the table like dogs, otherwise they will touch the "special" walls. Never experienced a situation like this in my life and was shocked at how unfriendly the owner was. Never again!!! The employees there just looked desperate, I feel sorry for them with a boss like that.

We had reserved a table, which was probably a good thing since the restaurant was busy. The service staff is very nice and we didn't have to wait long. The starter and main course came in quick succession. The taste was very tasty. We just had to wait a moment longer for the bill.

The restaurant is located right across from Kaufland. The service was nice, the food was brought to us quickly. In terms of price, it is an affordable restaurant for everyone, the food is deliciously balanced, which pleasantly surprised me, not everywhere can make Chinese. Beware of the miso soup! That wasn't good at all. The sushi fell apart because it wasn't wrapped well and some of the rice had strange black spots. I had miso soup that gave me a reaction in my mouth! Sour! and it was way too salty, generally not good at all! The atmosphere was strange, the service left something to be desired and the presentation of the food wasn't nice at all.

Unfortunately, the order was not properly listened to. The sushi was really small compared to every other restaurant that offers sushi. A friend wanted to have her food packed and it was thrown away with the comment that hopefully that would be ok because the waitress couldn't say quickly enough that it should be packed. If you consider that you paid for it, this is a real shame and an absolute no go!

Delicious and freshly prepared - sushi and curries! Especially the relaxed ordering via WhatsApp is practical and quick! The employees are very nice. However, in the restaurant there is a strong smell of the food or the open kitchen, so we usually order and then enjoy at home.😊

In retrospect, I thought about whether I should write a review because it was a while ago and I was very annoyed at the time about how to deal with customer complaints on the phone. Me and my family ordered really regularly and the food was good. Up until the day in question: We had ordered something the evening before and a dish worth around 12 euros was missing...it just wasn't there, but we paid for it and it was on the receipt (so everything was understandable). Since I'm in the system as a customer, you should be able to see how often you've already ordered (possibly?). It wasn't a big deal and that can happen, not bad. What I was annoyed about was how I was treated on the phone when I called the next day and complained to Dad and asked for a solution. I think it was the boss's turn (I'm pretty sure) who immediately portrayed me as a "liar", completely questioned this and then apparently didn't care when I said that I wouldn't order from him anymore would. It's a shame and very annoying.

Thanks for the salmonella poisoning. It was completely flat for two days and it was a complete disaster. I've never experienced anything like that, it's just sad. After all, it was the first and last time I ever ate with you! You can be happy that I'm so merciful and don't ask for any compensation. The symptoms I had to endure for two days were no longer normal and no one here can imagine that.

I didn't like it here at all. As soon as we entered, we felt a lot of frying smells, the kitchen is open and the exhaust hood is not working well, so when you leave the restaurant, you will smell like the kitchen. Next let's move on to food. The sushi set was good. Sufficient amount of salmon. For 20€ it's a good choice and price. But I didn’t like the positions I chose. I ordered fried eel rolls. I didn’t feel any fish at all, absolutely. The breading was bad. It’s not clear why the chefs leave these tails of cucumbers and mangoes... the second choice was rolls with mango and salmon, for 5 € it was normal. Maybe I would come again just for a cheap sushi set with salmon.

Eher eine Indoor- Imbissbude, der Raum vom Bratöl geschwängert, da im Raum gekocht wird. Ich musste meine Kleidung tagelang an die frische Luft hängen. Sehr ! einfach eingerichtet, unaufgeräumt und nicht so gastlich.

Uns hat es insgesamt nicht gut gefallen. Wenn man rein kommt, steht man erstmal vor einem Tisch mit Gerümpel. Die Deko ist eher pragmatisch und nicht sehr gemütlich, Temperatur im Gastraum ungemütlich kühl. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Das Essen konnte uns geschmacklich nicht überzeugen, Gemüse sehr roh/natur, Fleisch nahezu ungewürzt und spärlich. Da ist viel Luft nach oben.

Komme schon seit Jahren zum Essen oder hole auch öfter etwas zum Essen ab und muss sagen das es bis jetzt immer sehr gut geschmeckt hat und was mir auch sehr gefällt ist das Qualität und der Geschmack jedes Mal gleich ist. Preise sind wirklich in Ordnung und die Portionen sind sehr großzügig, das ich meistens noch am zweiten Tag den Rest essen kann 😊👍🏻

Essen zur fixen Uhrzeit bestellt, wurde dann aber eine halbe Stunde vor dem Tresen warten gelassen, schließlich kein Wort der Entschuldigung, Freundlichkeit gleich Null. Essen war dann auch nur mittelmäßig, deshalb statt einem Stern zwei Sterne. Weiterhin auffällig, dass fertiges Essen am Tresen in Warmhalteboxen wirklich lange gelagert wird, schon lange bevor Kunden ihr Essen abholen.

Wir waren schon öfters hier. Die Woche sogar 2mal. Alles super, lecker, frisch. Die junge Dame vom Service sehr nett und flott. Bis wieder...
