The anticipation of being able to eat again after a long time. Was steamed hard. Simple and very uncomfortable hard outdoor chairs. The waitress talked a lot...everywhere...unfortunately with us. Not even when I mentioned that it would be nice if that were the case with us too, the only response was "that's the way it is...!"! a cheeky, arrogant answer..I'm totally arrogant and aloof, no thanks!!! . Starter fried squid 3 mini small strips for €12 completely overpriced! Fish platter, some squid completely charred, dry affair, no sauces or additions except a mini salad, just naked fish on a plate for €23. You had to constantly chase after drinks and were also reacted in an arrogant and annoyed manner as to why you wanted something now. I've never experienced it before that when you wave at a waiter, he waves away in annoyance and then another 10 minutes actually pass before he comes to the table, a total of one long unpleasant session where you eat really hungry and still leave hundreds of euros. There are much better and friendlier restaurants. If you sit for 1 hour and don't want a drink, this is the place for you. We won't be coming back again. Reply to your reaction! to my review. First of all, I have to inform you that you didn't read my review properly and unfortunately didn't understand it correctly either. We pointed out to the waiter several times that it would be nice if he regularly asked for drinks, and we kept running after him to the counter!! There is nothing that can be done about it, the waiter and the whole situation have completely failed and are not acceptable for us as guests and so we won't be coming back. We didn't want a replacement either, we just wanted someone to check on us maybe every 20 minutes. But after 4 hours of staying, we ate ourselves hungry, were deeply disappointed and didn't feel like running after the waiter anymore!!!! Since we were invited it was really uncomfortable for us! always having to say something! The host was also more than embarrassed and uncomfortable! And her reaction here really doesn't make it any better but rather confirms everyone's impression. All the best

Nice atmosphere, great open menu, various dishes from meat to fish, but also very suitable for vegetarians. Lots of culinary delights, but also classics can be found on the menu. The house wine was extremely tasty, the waiters and service as well as the kitchen were very on point. 5* Gladly again!

Been here again for a long time. Ambience is nice but very loud, it's hard to have a conversation. Food was super delicious. Unfortunately the service was a disaster.

Essen wie in Spanien! Sehr gute Auswahl an Tapas. Eine tolle Auszeit mitten in der Stadt. Tolle Terrasse mit tollen Bäumen. Es war so gut, dass wir bei unserem 2 tägigen Aufenthalt in Kassel beide Abende dort zum Essen waren und wir haben bei beiden Besuche was anderes gegessen und waren begeistert!

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. The food is quite tasty, unfortunately very expensive and the portions have really shrunk. Of our 9 tapas, only 7 came. The rest were forgotten. Fish platters used to be served on hot plates. Unfortunately, this is no longer done. The service was poor. No one asked if everything was okay and drinks were completely forgotten in the end. We then gave up. As compensation we were given a cocktail. However, the overall result is unfortunately not that good and we are disappointed by the change. Very very unfortunate... *Edit* There were three of us there and now we all have stomach problems……

Normally a restaurant I would recommend to anyone. At the weekend, however, complete chaos. 2 dishes were simply forgotten. The waitress hadn't been at our table for over an hour, so we couldn't point this out to her. Two tables weren't served at all and then left after 30 minutes.

Excellent for decades. A bit noisy and a bit small tables, but that's a high standard given the wonderful cuisine.

We always eat different tapas and every single dish is really delicious. The waitresses are always friendly and the atmosphere is also very pleasant. The restaurant is suitable for a date, but also for a group meeting.

Das Portionen kleiner werden ist teilweise nachvollziehbar, aber so klein... Die Tunfischcreme war beispielsweise so groß, wie sonst, wenn ich im Lokal vorab Aoili bekomme. Das Essen war sonst gut. Hervorzuheben ist das absolut freundliche und ausgesprochen hilfreiche Personal!

Unserer Meinung nach, dass einzige Restaurant in Kassel, welches spanisches Essen anbietet. Natürlich sind wir nicht die Einzigen, die das festgestellt haben, daher ist er wirklich super voll an schönen warmen Abenden und man muss einige Geduld aufbringen, wenn man auf sein Essen wartet. Außerdem ist dadurch natürlich der Geräuschpegel extrem hoch. Dies wird jedoch zu späterer Stunde deutlich besser. Wir waren vier Personen und haben uns durch die wirklich schöne Auswahl an Tapas gefuttert. Alle waren vorzüglich und haben sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wir werden natürlich gerne wiederkommen!

We were at Casa Manolo with 6 women and colleagues this week and it was once again super delicious. Some of them were here for dinner for the first time and were thrilled. The tapas are delicious, there is something for every taste. The dessert was amazing, the warm chocolate cake with liquid contents was great. Always happy, 5 stars plus!!!

Stopped in after a visit to the theater to eat some tappas. These and the sangria were all very tasty and we were more than full afterwards at this late hour. A really nice end to a Spanish evening.

Wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstags zu Abendessen und außerordentlich zufrieden. Lecker Essen und eine sehr nette und unaufgeregte Bedienung haben für einen rundum schönen Abend gesorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tisch im ruhigeren hinteren Bereich des Lokals (an der Wand) bestellt und bekommen. Sehr schneller und aufmerksamer netter Service. Essen wie gewohnt gut. Gerne wieder.

Wir hatten reserviert, waren aber etwas früher da. Unser Tisch war schon wieder frei und so wurden wir zum Platz geführt. Der Service war bemüht, aber wohl überlastet. Es dauerte eine Weile, dann konnten wir Getränke bestellen. Bei der Bestellung der Tapas war es etwas seltsam. Entweder hat das Haus oder die Servicekraft etwas eingedeutscht. Es wurde nach der Bestellung der ersten Tapas darauf hingewiesen, das einige Dinge als Vorspeise und andere als Hauptgericht zu sehen sind und es wurde gefragt, was wir als Vorspeise und was wir als Hauptgericht haben wollten. Bei Tapas für mich unüblich! Die Tapas bzw. Platten waren gut, wenn auch eher Standard als Besonderes. Das Restaurant war voll und es wurde zwar gelegentlich gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung wäre. Dennoch, wenn man sonst Getränke bestellen wollte, war die Erreichbarkeit schwierig. Die Akustik im Gastraum ist auch verbesserungsbedürftig: Es war sehr laut und damit war es teilweise schwierig sich mit unseren Freunden zu unterhalten.

The bacon-wrapped dates were already partially black, the shrimp were a little overcooked and marinated in relatively tasteless oil. The service was rather disappointing: the cards were carelessly thrown on the table, empty glasses were ignored for minutes, and in general it took far too long until someone came to the table again. In our opinion, the staff was by no means attentive. The ambience is usual for Spanish tapas restaurants, a little louder, but also sociable.

Hier gibt es die besten Tapas in der Stadt. Im Casa Manolo Segundo kann man gemütlich für ein Gläschen Wein und einigen spanischen Spezialitäten mit Freunden oder der Familie einkehren.

Guter und aufmerksamer Service und hochwertiges Essen. Leider saßen wir an einem Hochtisch direkt am Eingang, weshalb es ziemlich zog, als die Tür auf war. Das nächste mal eine Woche im Voraus reservieren. Immer wieder gerne!

Original Spanish tapas in a nice atmosphere. We had dates, garlic prawns, pimientos & patatas fritas with garlic mayonnaise. The quality was consistently great. We love this restaurant and plan to visit it on almost every visit to Kassel. Clear recommendation.

The food always tastes okay, often very oily but that's often the case with tapas. The waiters are inexperienced, unprofessional at best and not particularly nice. The steak has also become smaller from visit to visit and is never 350g anymore and that for the price! If you return something that was not in order, it will not be taken off your invoice. It's far too loud in the store, the background noise is really unreasonable. The food is average but quite okay for Kassel, but it has deteriorated a lot from visit to visit recently. Price performance is rather poor, which is why only one star, otherwise there would be two or three. The last time we were there, so many things went wrong that it was probably our last visit. There was absolutely nothing to be seen in terms of friendliness and hygiene and that's where it ends!

Essen war sehr lecker, ich hatte 3 verschiedene Sorten Tapas und als Getränk den Rosé Hauswein, Service ist sehr gut, sehr aufmerksam. Kleines Manko ist der relativ hohe Geräuschpegel.

First class food. I recommend to everyone. Great service. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the noise. The room is small, there is no fresh air and there are crowds of people.

It's hardly possible without a reservation. We weren't allowed to stay for 2 hours, but that's okay. The food comes quickly, but the staff isn't very attentive, something could be improved here. There is a good selection of tapas but unfortunately classics like tortillas are also missing. It tastes very good but is also a little German adapted. Prices are already higher. The room acoustics are very loud and the furnishings are very nicely designed.

If you had to summarize your subjective impressions in one word, the word “experience” would be by far the best description you could use. The food is an experience, the ambience but also the service stays in your head. Very courteous, patient and the highest standards in advice and recommendations. At first I was a bit skeptical because Spanish cuisine was basically new territory for me. But then I was pleasantly surprised. Not only is it delicious, it's just fun and friends. You actually pay a little more but you get something in return. Highly Recommended. Especially because we were there with friends and there was a special occasion. The restaurant even played an appropriate song and offered personal congratulations. Always my pleasure!

Essen und Service war super!!! Wir hatten einen Tisch direkt vor der Theke und neben diversen Equipment - das hat ein wenig das Ambiente gestört.

Gleichbleibend sehr gut wie bei jedem unserer Besuche. Etwas hochpreisig aber sehr gute Qualität aller Speisen. Jedoch eine Creme Brule für mittlerweile 9 € fanden wir etwas zu teuer. Wir kommen gern wieder.
